Canada has a government that is destroying our country. The working class gets to pay for all these immigrants that live better and have more benefits than Canadians. Working Canadians are struggling to live. Our adult children have no hope of owning homes. We need to get rid of the corrupt liberals!!!!!!!

Liberal canada is hell bent on destroying the country. violent crime offenders getting out of jail, refugee claims and asylum seekers getting same benefits as residents and citizens, handing out billions of dollars to other countries, opening doors to drug cartels and organized crimes to buy properties in the country which fuels housing prices to soar, capital gains tax increases , carbon taxes on people and industries. these are just a few.

Sikhs are actually nice people. Every single person has some or other compulsions. Nobody moves to another country for fun, they migrate for better lifestyle, healthcare, benefits, income etc. Stop demonizing these people just because they're in Canada and not being white. Perhaps, ask yourself what your ancestors as whites did in the past to Indians, sidelined with Britishers & looted our wealth for 200 years and made us a 3rd world country.

There have always been a few questionable people that are immigrants and refugees but it was in the early 2000s when you first started to see the foreign students and immigrants/refugees start to me more the "gimmegrant" type. They wanted sponsorship, benefits, housing, etc but didn't want to put in the work or participate and some were very dim also. It just got worse every year from 2006 I would say but with Trudeau in 2015 letting more in and telling them we have no culture spelled our doom but then you have ministers like Rempel who also like to play according to the wind. She was all about Islamophobia and supporting Muslims when convenient but now seems to want to close doors.

I have less rights as a Canadian in any other country than immigrants who come from those countries have here. In fact, I have less benefits in Canada than immigrants do here.

Even true claimants should not receive monthly income and benefits better than those of the regular working class in Canada. They should feel compelled to find jobs instead of living as parasites off the taxpayers.

3 million Visas are about to expire. These people will just leave? They will apply for refugee status or asylum claims, which takes another 4 years to get a hearing? The taxpayers pay for housing and benefits?

No healthcare for non Canadians, new citizens should pay minimum 5 years in taxes before benefiting from Universal healthcare and subsidized university.

Also, I don't care what kind of a mess a legitimate asylum seeker is fleeing, I do not believe anyone "from away" is entitled to better health care benefits than Canadian citizens.

Canada, Us, Aus, Nz they were at a time white colonies. But they aren't any more. That's not changing. Trying to reverse engineer multiculturalism is going to be brutal. So long as there is predatory population around. These folks want to benefit of migrants and their labour but then get offended by their presence. I have heard of gulf Arab racism and maybe that's the track these countries are willing to adopt. Who knows but the future appears to be grim unless a way forward of co existing is carved out.

1 year before social benefits is insanely low, how about we start at 5-10. If someone is alrady asking for social benefits within a year they clearly are a net negative, ship them to BC to be dealt with

Many International Students now are actually people in their 30s and 40s, with multiple kids and a spouse. So when they come here to "Study" They are eligible for Child Tax benefits and GST rebates and everything else that only a Citizen should receive. These foreign people are essentially financing their edication with the tax payers money. On top of that, they are adding more load to the healthcare , and public school system, without paying a single dollar in income tax or property tax.

Alberta was calling skilled labour. The Federal Liberals were calling refugees and foreing students- of learning centers. LOL Many of these Federal recuits ended up in Alberta, unfortunatley. Alberta usually has more social benefits than any other province. So these Lliberal imported refugees are more likely to head there.

Alberta is a province. Immigration to Canada is a federal responsibility. If Alberta wants to compete for those workers, they will need to improve public services, and assure workers are paid enough to afford to live there. Alberta is an expensive place to live. I know that from experience. Alberta also benefits from the education and investments made by Canada. And Alberta benefits from the pipeline that Justin Trudeau forced through. SO STOP WHINING. If you want a visit visa for US you are interviewed by an immigration official and these criminals would be rightly refused. In the 80s when I was in university, sociology professors claimed that the immigration system was racist, because certain people weren't welcome. (Yah, the people who wouldn't fit in because their values and customs were so different) They said Canada only accepts people who benefit the country! Imagine that! What about old people brought here, never worked one hour in Canada, but receive pension, medical and dental benefits, or stay on welfare?? What about emigration business that evolved in BC like mushrooms after rain?? Who's paying for this category of emigrants??

Please help me understand why mass migration is considered beneficial. I believe globalization has very significant drawbacks. My primary concern is for my fellow Canadians "ONLY." It seems that the increase in new residents is driven largely by political motives, as new migrants often support the Liberal Party due to the benefits they receive upon arrival. Both the Liberal government in Canada and the Democrats in the United States appear to be aware of this trend. Regardless of political affiliation—whether Liberal, Conservative, Green, or any other party—if my party were to adopt such a policy, I would oppose it. Canadians really need to wake up. We need responsible citizenship that upholds and strengthens our Canadian culture and values.
