If you move to another country you need to be part of their culture and their way of life, speak their language and become one of them..but people love to move to Canada to take advantage of all the freedoms and continue doing what they are doing.

Let's imagine that the tariffs will actually be effective and three thousand companies from all over the world will come back. 3,000 companies will start producing, they need people. Where they pay American wages. These companies left because they could produce the product cheaper abroad and Americans could buy it cheaper. If all the companies come back, prices will increase by 30%. And 70 percent of the population will buy 30% more expensively. Inflation will run wild. Poverty will increase. What's the point of this?? I almost completely support everything he says. My problem comes with his comments on Fentanyl. Please, this medication is a game changer for so many suffering daily in agony with chronic pain or deadly conditions. For those who need it medically, it is strictly controlled and monitored. Fentanyl is “eaten” by pain, so for those who need it there is no high, just relief.\nThose on it legally already have to deal with a great amount of prejudice, being treated as addicts and dealers when they are just trying to find a way to survive immense pain everyday. This medication allows them to get out of bed, to attend school or work, to have a life. It gives them hope and relief. \nThe opioid crisis is real, but those on a prescription are not the cause. Canada already has some of the strictest protocols in the world for this medication, leaving many people in agony as they loose access to it. \nDon’t take away something that is saving them. The drug is not wrong, those selling it illegally are in the wrong.

As a Canadian citizen I have always admired the US up until now, I sincerely wanted to move to the US to build homes and start up a company. But now am re-evaluating my decision because if this how the US treats their friends and allies, I really feel sad for their enemies. Both countries benefited from having a good relationship and now the great US has no one willing to challenge Mr Trump on this idiotic move, America is alienating themselves from a lot of countries and regular Americans are the ones who are going to suffer from this fall-out, the rich won't be affected but regular working class folks your stress is going to get a whole lot worse and that's unfortunate. Hopefully US wises up sooner rather than later and stop blaming immigration for their problems it's poor governing and politicians that have us looking at each other as enemies rather than humans with the same struggle and issues. They have money to send annually overseas but none to improve the life of their citizens in need, that should tell you something. When I was living in Vancouver, I (and many ppl) would just drive cross the border to get gas and groceries because it's just much cheaper once you're on US soil.... For years we cannot retain any talents because they would just migrate to the states because the pay is much higher with less taxes.
