I am a Canadian and I am absolutely sick and tired of these Indians, I’m married at 22 with a child on the way and buying a house seems like an impossible task because all these Indians are literally being given free houses from the government send all of them back to there so called paradise and never let them come back. Canada accepts a lot of immigrants more then the US but if the US had a less strict immigration policy it would probably look very similar. These individuals (refugees, etc.) are receiving government funding of $ 10,000 a month. They boast on TikTic that if you come to Canada as a refugee, the government gives you free housing and $85K a year. You do not have to work, As soon as they arrive in Canada, they are driving expensive cars, getting free food from Costco, getting credit cards from the bank and purchasing houses. They drive Teslas, BMWs, and the most expensive cars that they could have never ever owned in their country. Super wealthy Western countries first priority is to its own native population and country first by investing in them. The new 180 stance on immigration is proof that these super wealthy Western countries are moving forward with stricter immigration policies, a push for increased mass deportation, eliminating Visa/Green Card Holders for certain groups, going after scam related to immigration, rescinding citizenship and deporting non-native populations a lot easier. My grandparents on my mom's side came over from Scotland after WW2. They bought one of the cheap plots that were available then, but then my grandfather BUILT their house. He was a tradesman (dual carpentry/electrician certified). Lots of that house is still original, with occasionally new paint, and looks new.\n\nFast forward 75 years and we're importing Business Majors and IT specialists to cities that need construction workers and trades people. The houses being built start falling apart before you finalize the paper work. If you DO have the skills and desire to build something yourself, there's a lengthy approval process ahead of you just to get started.\n\nHope you didn't come here with a medical degree, or a specialized certification. That's another long process to be approved to work here. Doesn't matter if you came from rural China or you worked in the US at a major hospital. \n\nLawyers, lobbyists, politicians, and landlords have destroyed the Canadian dream, and we're all sick and tired of it. I have a lot of sympathy for immigrants sold a lie, who come here and end up homeless or worse, but we can't stop what's happening abroad. We can only change what we do here.

As a Canadian - the immigration tom-foolery that is happening is just as bad up here. Our Prime Minister is a handsome idiot, he was a drama teacher before he became Prime Minister (I know, make that one make sense). He has no idea what he's doing, he's being used as a puppet for more experienced extortionists-erm-politicians. With the help of his party members and a coalition with another party, in less than ten years he has taken Canada from a great place to visit and live to basically what's happening in NY. Crime in our cities has gone up dramatically. Theft is on the rise. Homelessness and drug use is through the roof. Immigration is out of control. And our government also prioritizes immigrants and asylum seekers before born and raised Canadian citizens. There are only two conceivable reasons for a Canadian to move to the US. \n1. is the weather. I don't think I need to explain why some of us get tired of winter for six months out of the year.\n2. is the money. If you're young, single, white, educated male, you can get some good jobs down there, but you're going to want to hold on to your Canadian citizenship for when you get sick.

We have a leader who seems to be deeply invested in shutting down our oil and gas industry. He shut down oil and gas. Which put hundreds of people out of work. Then he slapped us with a carbon tax. He told us the carbon tax dollars would be invested toward producing green energy projects and manufacturing jobs. So far, the Carbon tax went up again, he banned plastic straws, he’s hitting our farmers with heavy restrictions on fertilizer, because it’s not green enough. \nMany of our indigenous communities have been living for years with contaminated water. He promised he was going to ensure the indigenous communities have access to clean drinking water. He has not fulfilled that promise. \nHe’s bidding $30 billion dollars to hopefully sign a deal to manufacture electric car batteries for Volkswagen. \nHe’s investing in other projects, as well. Unfortunately, he’s only investing in eastern provinces. \nSo far, there has been no investments in western provinces yet. Many of the out of work oil and gas workers in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba are still waiting on the jobs they were promised. \nLow wages, high inflation, high taxes and high income housing is bringing a lot of us to our knees. \nOur leader is corrupt. It seems like every week there is another corrupt scandal he and his government are involved in. \nI can’t speak for every Canadian, but I can say with absolute certainty that a large number of us are sick and tired of our current leader. Most of us live with the hope that if our leader can get voted out. Canada may have a chance to go back to the way our beautiful country used to be.
