Why is it so difficult to have reasonable conversations about this? You can also acknowledge that early immigrants and their kids are often completely American/Canadian, from their native language, accents, education, references etc. And that Indians are generally a low-crime, high-employment, high-tax-paying immigrant group. And we ALSO acknowledge that that’s changing because of the type/number of people coming in, and the financial and political incentives which support it. It causes valid resentment. I know some older Indians who assimilated well and made Canada better, but these new immigrants are no good. They want everything for free. My roommate is from the Philippines, but she works hard, is very clean, polite, and easy to get along with. So I'm not against immigration, but I want the people coming over to pay their own way. People complaining do not acknowledge that Canada created a corrupt system where educational institutions made money from foreign students, foreign students in return were happy as long as they got to work. It is the colleges making money off these immigrants, it is the corporations who do not want to pay decent living wages to Canadians so they are hiring these immigrants at minimum wage jobs. This is called capitalism where the corporate has to save as much money as possible for their shareholders. So yes immigration is a huge problem but immigrants alone are not at fault. The fault lies with the government (federal, provincial and municipal) and the corporate entities in Canada as well.

As a non Indian Canadian born and raised I’m disgusted where my country has gone. Our population has doubled since 1980, not by birth rate, but because of the amount of Indians that have immigrated here. Unfortunately, they have no desire to assimilate, they bring their own culture and they stay in their own communities. The government offers tax breaks for businesses, hiring foreign workers over people born in Canada, leaving the youth without any part-time work. On top of that some of my favourite restaurants growing up, I haven’t eaten at in years because it’s been taken over by Indians, the quality of food goes down, you end up getting food poisoning and if you aren’t in their community, you get worse service and get charged more than what an Indian would pay at the same restaurant. They don’t understand cleanliness or sanitation, they leave their garbage and waste on the street and dump it in random locations, and quite frankly have no respect for anyone who lives here or the country that has taken them in. I feel like a minority of my own country and I truly don’t understand what being Canadian means anymore because I’m pretty sure being Canadian is a thing of the past. Most of my friends have moved further north, to Vancouver island or moved out to the prairies to get away from them and higher prices as everything gets more expensive, thanks to our government, caring more about immigrants than citizens. When a family gets accepted to come here they bring their parents their aunts and uncles their brothers and sisters on temporary visas, they also collect social assistance as soon as they arrive and when their visas expire, they have no desire to go back, which has resulted in thousands of illegals remaining here. I mean I get it. Why would you go back when you’re getting treated better here and are given food, housing and an allowance every month but it’s gotten to a point where India outnumbers Canadians. I want them all sent back.

It all boils down to how the Indians are raised in their own country. They are raised with the individual mentality. Do for yourself, and to hell with the others. Leave it for someone else to take care of. This is why their country is one of the dirtiest in all the world. They use the streets as a garbage can or toilet, then just leave it for someone else to clean it up. But, when everyone is raised with this attitude, there's no one left to clean it up. In India, they have the "untouchables". Yes, the caste system is still operating in India, although it's not recognized by the government. It's the untouchables that are supposed to clean up all the trash and feces off the streets, but they never do. They don't get paid to do it. This is why their trash clean up is so poor as far as having trucks go around and pick it up to take to a landfill. There are very few untouchables and the other people won't work for the trash pick up companies, because they feel it's beneath them. So, they trash their country and instead of cleaning it up, they move to another country to trash it. My brother used to be a truck driver for many years. Every time he saw a truck rolled over on it's side, he'd say "Must have been an Indian", because every rolled over truck he ever saw was driven by someone from India. If you look at videos of the traffic in India, you will see lot of trucks rolled over, and you'll see no one pay attention to stop lights, stop signs and everyone just cuts off everyone. This is the individual idea. I have to get somewhere, so I will cut you off to get there. It's always "Me, me, me". This attitude causes so many wrecks. Westerners have a hard time driving in India because we are all raised with everyone in mind, not just ourselves. We are a community, not an individual. We need to put a big wall around India and stop all airplanes going in and out, so they don't spread their diseased ideals of life and end up ruining another country. Do you know why India doesn't really take military training very seriously? Because no other country wants to invade and have to deal with the clean up. At this point, it's just about impossible to ever clean that country up.

This is an immigration and refugee lawyer who owns a law firm and actively represents refugees/asylum seekers and immigrants from other countries who want not wish to become fully Canadian citizens My very important question to her As the principle Is how are you paid for your legal services and representation Lawyers always tell me they can be referred to by Law society of Canada For a 30 minute free legal consultation But once that is paid out by that association that is where lawyers and para legal professionals pay dues to join Then it’s up to those professionals to charge Hourly fee flat rate And All additional charges associated with the file/case law once opened and documents signed So how much does it cost to 1. Refugees claims 2. Asylum seekers claims 3. Immigration claims 4. Detainee claims 5. Deportation claims in the form of Appeals How many can they have Who pays these professionals? When media such as CBC Also government employees who are paid by the federal government Do not ask these questions Which are again Paid to NGOs By us poor taxpayers!!!!! Towards these professionals who represent economic migration and only cost us Canadians more money
