As a Canadian born to immigrants, the emphasis of 'temporary foreign worker' is on 'temporary'. Its highly immoral for immigrants to be scapegoated for the greed of corporations wanting cheap slave labour, and for colleges to reap the benefit of a broken student visa loophole to immigration, to the detriment of all Canadians. This loophole has remained open for long enough, at the behest of lobbyists and politicians to use for talking-points at election time, but everyone is glad someone is finally doing something about it. Our job markets and real-estate prices needed this to recover to sane-levels. It takes a non-politician in power for things to get done for practical reasons, not to score political points.

Finally someone has covered this! This is the sad reality as to what's happening to Canada. The UK is the exact same. We are being outbred, our jobs are being taken away, and we are being overrun with them. Look at the Canadian government, that's how bad it has become. The Canadian government has become so corrupt because of this! Once they infiltrated the government, all kinds of corruption occured, their extended families were getting automatic citizenship, free healthcare, and draining the Canadian job market and healthcare benefits. One common scam they pull is that they will find a job, immediately apply for social welfare, and take time off and still get paid for months without even working. They completely abuse the system which results in actual Canadians who need social welfare benefits to not be able to gain any benefits, because of the amount of scammers that have infiltrated and colonized the country. Canada is screwed completely unless we speak up about this! There are many of us who don't like this and don't want it, but there are many Canadians who are bleeding hearts and weak who just accept it. They're going to outbreed us and eventually completely takeover and completely ruin the country. Canada is not the same place that I remember from my childhood. It has become the capitol of woke ideology, weakness, and completely overrun by Indians. Not to mention that we used to be a Christian country. We used to say Merry Christmas every year, Christian values were upheld and encouraged, now there are Mosques everywhere! There are more Mosques in Canada than Churches these days. Canada has become ruined. The worst part is, that those who come to our country don't even respect our values, traditions, or even attempt to assimilate. They expect us to conform to their ways. We can no longer be Christians because they are Anti-Christian, we can no longer speak English or French, because they hate our language. I have literally been to Toronto and Vancouver and seen the madness unfold, not an ounce of English is spoken or understood in those areas. It's either Chinese or Indian that is spoken. Usually, when you come to another country, you are supposed to conform to that country's values and traditions, not the other way around. Canada has done the complete opposite because of the bleeding hearts in charge of the country. I say screw that and no more! Make Canada Canadian Again! Keep Canada Christian!

It's worse than this video shows. I don't live in Brampton and my town is entirely * after 10 years. Everywhere I go is * people. It doesn't matter what store or business or service I contact it's just * people now. When I went to college everyone was from there. This was a regular local college that Canadian kids aspire to go to. They made up 90% of the classmates, they never showed up to class, they refused to participate in team projects, nobody failed. They did so poorly but the school charges 3x. My final year they cancelled final exams because they decided too many international students would fail. They are from the same country but they have different religions and from different cities that hate each other so they would refuse to communicate with each other. Imagine you meet someone from another province and you hate them and aren't afraid to crashout in public over it. My next door neighbors there is so many people living in the house that they live there on a schedule one group in and one group out. You would think they would be going to work NO they literally hang out all day long like a bad 90s comedy movie. In the last 10 years all of the house in my town skyrocketed in price. The people around me all bought around 2010 - 2015 for $150k - $260k and sold for around $1m 2023 - 2026. Average house price in my town has stayed at 3x what it was 10 - 15 years ago. They don't rake their leaves, they don't clean up their trash, they don't clear their snow from their driveways. Both my parents are immigrants, they came here poor had to work, had to respect the country and its laws and culture because that's what allowed Canada to be successful so they could come here. All I hear about or see now is immigrants from the one country? When I was a kid I grew up with every nationality where did everybody go?

As a Canadian, one that lives in GTA at that. Thank you for this video! We have two first languages (French & English)..yet speaking Punjabi is now an asset. Tim Hortons & McDonald’s used to be for our youth…now they can’t get jobs. The one thing we all loved growing up is the fact that our country was so diverse/multicultural. So many people actually born here either move further or have been leaving the country because theres damn near no more Canada. I am from India came to Canada legally (gone through 7 months of processing and waiting , submitted countless documents , photos , chat history to prove relation status and professional experience, literally submitted all my life story) to obtain PR and come to Canada just to realize that people without any of these come from different parts of the world especially India bypassing the system and living better life working cash jobs and doing random stuff. When i went to take driving license first time, An Indian origin guy rejected my application saying that my Indian License wasn't looking original enough , where I have seen people who couldn't even speak basic English were applying to get license to drive trucks. It is sad to see how many of our people are bringing a lot of 'Indianness' to this country and live like it is their own turf. I have met many young and middle aged individuals who call themselves students who doesn't even have a clue of what they are studying. It is unbelievable how people of certain status live their life partying and enjoying breaking all sort of rules , dropping out of college etc. when people who are here legally and many Canadians struggling to pay rent / mortgages / insurances etc. Don't even want to talk about job security , its a joke. Finally happy to see someone raising voice.

FFS they literally founded non existent colleges to exploit the bridge loopholes from a faux student visa to a faux job which gets them to a PR status because the immigration offices are not doing their jobs. We've been flodded with fake students for years now. And for the record I am not against student visas and legal and appropriate immigration. Far from it. I appreciate every person, whether from India or somewhere esle, that is in Canada legally and with intention to integrate and contribute.

As someone who comes from latin-america and has been travelling and touristing in Canada for the last 10 + years, and finally decided to take the step to immigrate to Canada through the front door, I can safely say you guys are losing your amazing country. My permit was not approved and you know what, I am not even mad. I see a lot of these people leeching off your government and for some reason they get preferential treatment over people like me who come to do things honestly, work, study, and adding to the country instead leeching from it. Like I said, I first came to Canada a little over 10 years ago, and I am telling you this country is changing for the worse. One thing I also noticed is how back then I always used to hear the memes of Canadians being nice and always saying "sorry". Those memes no longer exist. I know it doesn't say much, but what I am trying to say here is: The quality of the Canadian citizen is 100% decreasing.

As a multi-generational, born-and-raised Canadian citizen. Recently, I have been unemployed for 1 year and 2 months, which is the longest I have ever gone without a job in my entire life. My EI has run out, and during this stressful time, I have only had 4 actual interviews with real human beings. I am also a caregiver for both of my parents, and working remotely has been my profession for the last 7 years. Remote work allows me to both care for them and bring in a full-time income. Despite having 30 years of customer service experience, I find myself being overlooked. Many companies now use AI to prescreen resumes, so if your resume isn’t ATS-friendly, it often never gets seen by a human. Even if you make it past that stage, there are endless AI-driven assessments before you even have a chance to speak with someone. And when you finally do, it’s often yet another layer of screening rather than a real interview. I know I bring value — I consistently receive compliments from customers across cultures for speaking clearly, precisely, and making their experience enjoyable. Yet I find myself competing with younger candidates who can work longer hours, or new immigrants that companies often prioritize, sometimes with government incentives. At 55, I feel like I’m being overlooked despite my proven skills and professionalism. Right now, I live with my retired parents and should be caring for them. Instead, my father is helping me pay my bills so I don’t ruin the credit I worked so hard to build. If I don’t secure a job soon, I fear I’ll lose everything else I’ve managed to hold onto. The stress is overwhelming — I cry daily, and on top of everything, I also face health issues of my own, but I have no space to focus on them because survival takes priority. Canada today feels very different from the country I grew up in. Since the pandemic, things have become harder in every way — jobs, housing, and simply living. Even if I manage to secure work, rent alone now takes up nearly 75% of what I’d earn, not even including other basic bills. It’s disheartening to feel like no matter how hard I push, I can’t get ahead.

Oh the IRONY! If you aren't First Nations, you ARE an immigrant. Why don't you actually all make an effort to learn at least a few words in our languages; the ACTUAL languages of Our country 🙄. I think finally Canada realized that if they have friend like US then they don't need any enemy. You can't trust US at all and need to start open your market for global trade. I am glad that finally this happened cause sometimes you need a slap on face to wake up from a cozy bogus dream. Yes it will be painful few years for Canada but when time will come for fresh water and Arctic resources, it will be payback time to US. Forget US and start shipping products to Europe, China and India.
