I’m so glad someone made a video about this. I left Canada because of this problem over my Middle East country. It’s literally better here. Canada is a big bubble. It ain’t worth to live in there.

This almost feels like the borat social experiment. So openly racist and not caring , its just downright disgusting , diversity is what makes canada strong and having lived on every province , there is things i would change but im glad people are building new lives here and finding it safe, dont blame all your problems on immigrants and then call it based. Thats just a excuse.

Legal immigration is fine.
When there’s MASS legal immigration, that’s when it becomes a problem 😂
I’m glad I’m American

I'm glad I'm seeing more people talk about this stuff publicly. The problem is though is that its more than just Brampton. Its our entire fucking country

As a Canadian, one that lives in GTA at that. Thank you for this video! We have two first languages (French & English)..yet speaking Punjabi is now an asset. Tim Hortons & McDonald’s used to be for our youth…now they can’t get jobs. The one thing we all loved growing up is the fact that our country was so diverse/multicultural. So many people actually born here either move further or have been leaving the country because theres damn near no more Canada. I’m just glad someone finally made an actual video talking about this 🙏🏽Not everyone is a problem, it’s really the past 3-4years that have been awful

Glad that this problem is being tackled...but...the person from Alberta does not have much time she says,,,so hurry up.
This is not the time to hurry ma'am...be polite and please don't imitate the pushy tone that's being used south of the border.
It is a question-session not the inquisition.

Im a Canadian and honestly I've NEVER had a problem finding a job, I don't even have my highschool... I think it has to do with *which* jobs they are applying for. I get that theres an "immigration" problem, the refusal to adapt and assimilate feels like a slap in the face especially when the same few will talk I'll of the same system they benefit from. HOWEVER I don't think it's good to lump all of these problems together and dump collective blame on immigrants. For 1, all this immigration and policies have happened under a liberal government and y'all voted then in, AGAIN. - clearly you're not THAT desperate for change. 2nd. Are the ones saying they can't find work willing to work in trades? General laborers making $25-$30+++ No experience required. Tradespeople are glad to teach people willing to work hard and learn.. What about warehouse work? Apply to your 5 closest warehouses, I guarantee youll get in 1.. ALSO the government IS willing to help Canadians get little certifications like forklift, smartserve, CPR.. Career colleges can help with training (e.g - computer) as well as soft skills. So yeah, I wonder if it's people being just as picky as they were when Canada wasn't in the economical shitter it is in rn? Maybe Im far luckier or fortunate than most? Maybe expectations are too high? Maybe some stubbornly refuse assistance they are entitled to? Im not sure, but I do sympathize/empathize with you guys, I hope you all can "get through". I pray we can find solutions to this insane cost of living / broken housing market / price gouging / tiny group of business owners having a complete market control and a monopoly on everything thing we need to survive - without competition, limitations or government regulation. Stay strong Canada! 💙Don't let the hate consume you!❤️ 🇨🇦We will overcome🇨🇦

Bravo!?????? I am an American and I stand with Canada. Leaders from other countries around the world should be as strong as your leader Trudeau! This message could not be more clear or direct. And I’m glad Trudeau didn’t call him with president in front of his name. trump doesn’t deserve it. He is a disgrace to America and exactly what America is not about. No one knows how he could get here But it’s a nightmare that we are trying to wake up from. Trump has spread cancer in America and we are fighting for our lives. We are deeply sorry for all the pain we are causing people around the world. This is our fight and we unfortunately are making it everyone’s problem. We need help, so thank you for everything you are doing.

Me, me, me---what about your unit?? In Vietnam, I had to swim away from my broken Huey, in four feet of muddy water mixed with JP4 jet fuel. The little crack on the end of my penis felt like it was on fire. I can't imagine how a trans would feel with a brand new vagina!!\nIt's crude, but that's the way it was. I'm glad we did not have thee problems in the 60s!!

God be with them all ??️Biden created this problem it should’ve not happened so glad that our president Trump had to clean up this mess no more free stuff from people that bust their ass to put food ? on their families while others sleeps all day and making babies so proud of President Trump he’s doing a great job for our country

Ahhh Yes, let it all begin!!! Its only been a week & Trump has done more than Biden / Harris did in 4 years. Love it absolutely love it, enough is enough & about time every country realizes they arent/cant keep sending their problems & illegal immigrants to our border to cross in / enter the U.S illegally! Hopefully Trump sticks to it & sends back as many of them as physically possible! Time to focus on making our country great again, eliminate the nonsense & ? show Biden/Harris created and allowed! All the south american and central american counries better wake up n deal with their wonderful citizens because its not the U.S job or obligation to just allow and accept them. If they want to do it legally and right way, sure im all for it, but enough is enough! How about we start sending all of our criminals etc to their countries on a free for all and thousands of them at a time not just a couple!?! Pretty sure the majority of U.S citizens have had enough & 99% are glad Trumps a man of his word & does what when & how he says it!

When I read all of this, I'm damn glad that I'm German and that I've managed to build something for myself. Even if not everything is perfect here, the health care and social security are better than in many countries. Unfortunately, our problem is that too many people are now being allowed in here who pay nothing, absolutely nothing, into the social systems, but only benefit from it. Twenty years ago things looked better here.

Poor immigration lawyers, their business model is changing (they are part of our problem). Canada can not save the world and sacrifice ourselves in the process. Glad to hear AI solutions are helping with the process - we are a mess!

Why is this a warning? We need to celebrate our tax dollars going back to the American citizens. They can’t afford food in the refrigerators or rent. This ice agent is a huge part of the problem. Clearly he was never on the side of the American people. Glad he’s gone.

interesting I live in the US, and we have the same problems here homelessness, drug overdoses, and high taxes, some states have higher taxes than others, home prices are skyrocketing, and no new homes are being built. no new low-income housing. Just a real shortage in housing period.. Yet, we have gotten so many immigrants from all over the world flooding here. I can't understand why they come. We have terrible medical care. Public schools are awful so glad I do not have children. I ask myself has the whole world gone crazy? COVID closings& forced vaccines, insane people out there driving like well like they are insane. I find myself staying home safe in my yard. Wondering why you moved to Canada? What made you think it would be happier than your home in Singapore. Which I know nothing about btw.

Glad this is happening! First, because the govt. should put their citizens & their heritage as top priority. Secondly, because permit to study doesn’t mean permit to permanently settle down. Don’t use words like racism during protests. That’s not racism. Canadians are much more tolerant as compared to places where many of us come from - places that are pure classists, casteists & extremists! Yes, this exists in 21st century. Finally, there is no deeper philosophy involved - learn to respect & assimilate in a new country. Work hard. Follow the rules. I mean these days I am seeing people failing to follow basic civic sense & social manners. This is creating a problem for the entire community. We clearly don’t want this to happen to the real hardworking and sensible ones!!!!

The Landlord and Tennant board is completely useless. \nIt’s time for a serious update to the rental laws in Ontario.\nThe biggest problem is that these freeloading dead beets know how to game the system and know every trick in the book to prolong the eviction process for years.\nI’ve had so many clients lose vast sums of money dealing with this nonsense.\nSo glad I sold my last rental property so that I don’t have to deal with this insanity.

Tried hard to hide your xenophobia but failed miserably. Instead of focusing on the real problem, which is the imbalance between immigration and infrastructure, you made this entire thing about a race. \n\nHere's some news for you. Indians are not going anywhere. Just like immigrants from other countries, they cater to the growing demands of Canada. Btw, do you know how Canadian immigration works? Are you aware of the skilled worker program? Do you know how many points are required to get a permanent residence? Every nationality has an equal chance at it, and when Indians score the highest points, it's not because of their skin color. Ever travelled in a go train towards downtown Toronto? You will find your answers. Indians, or skilled immigrants from any other nationality are not free loaders, their education and skills enables them to get a PR.\n\nNow come to students. Canadian colleges have set the bar extremely low - all they need is a high school education and basic proficiency in English. Why, you ask? It's because the colleges and universities depend on international students for their revenue who pay thrice the amount as domestic students. These international students, after completing their education, fill in the workforce demands of Canada. They secure their residency through legit government immigration programs. Sure, some cheat the system, but the vast majority works their butts off to achieve it.\n\nSo yeah, if you want to stop Indians from coming in, shut down the immigration system entirely. Your hatred and bigotry isn't going to stop them. I hope you get cured of your racism. I am glad not all Canadians are like you.

Twenty years ago I left Canada and boy am I glad I did so. The country has turned into a disaster unless you're rich. The obsene house and rental prices are obviously the result of gross mismanagement. I mean, the government employs economists who should be able to advise that too many buyers and too few houses is going to lead to major trouble. A rich country with so much land should not have this problem. When it comes to gas prices, Canadians have to drive some of the longest distances in the world and are forced to pay such high gas prices. Since there is almost no public transportation, what choice to people have but drive. Regarding the grocery situation, allowing a handful of massive companies hold Canadians ransom is complete bullshit. This is where the government needs to do something to rein in this behavior. Obviously people need to eat but allowing these companies to rake in obsene profits because of this basic need is a crime. I hate the idea of a PC government, but the Liberals have definitely failed.

The immigration problem is very real and im glad you brought it up. I'm tired of being called a bigot for simply recognizing that the we dont have enough homes to sustain our citizens, let alone new migrants. I think we need to severely cut down immigration until we can build the required infrastructure to support them.\n\nWhat the trudeau government has done to this country has made me utterly hopeless. I see no future for myself here and yet I also have no idea how to leave this nightmare of a country.

Increasing demand without increasing supply allows the landlord class to jack up prices. Don't dismiss them from the equation. It's a conscious decision to raise rent prices to make more money. And it's motivated by selfishness. Scapegoating immigrants and pretending they're the problem rather than the landlords is terrible. I'm glad you went on to talk about the need for further housing construction, but omitting the greedy landlords from the discussion seems like you're dropping the ball on something.

Canada hid its inflation in the housing market for a decade. The economy appeared to be growing, and real wages appeared to be staying in line with the consumer price index, but it was smoke and mirrors. If you removed real estate, GDP was stagnant. Wages were actually falling behind and people getting poorer and poorer without realising it. That’s finally become unsustainable, and inflation is showing up everywhere. And the wages are still stuck. The country is sitting on hugely valuable resources it could develop had it not put so many self-created political barriers in the way, and having indoctrinated their population about it along the way. Separately, The healthcare system is getting worse, consistently ranking 2nd last in the OECD in terms of real results delivered. The biggest problem is that the country’s economy is built on immigration to drive growth, rather than productivity, efficiency, or innovation. The more people you bring in, the more housing you need, but they’re at the point that they can’t keep up and people can hardly afford housing anyways. It’s a recipe for disaster. I left Canada by coincidence, having met someone from another country and moved there. I’m glad I left.

I grew up in Malton (borders Brampton) in the 1980's and it was all Western European and Canadian folks and it was great. Such a sense of community and everyone knew everyone. Us kids would stay out until the street lights came on and played in Parks. It was really safe. We moved away in 2006 because the area had gone such down hill by 1999 and the crime was horrible. Stolen cars, alcohol and drug abusing Punjabi folks and the domestic partner violence of the Indian men beating the crap out of their wives was insane. (I had a friend that was a Peel Region Police officer who ended up leaving because she couldn't take seeing it any longer). I have nothing against Immigration, because my dad was an immigrant, but I do have a problem with the amount of any one country we let in, and the types of people that we let in that contribute to crime and area degradation. It's so sad the slums that have become in Brampton and Malton since we left. I'm glad we got the heck out of there when we did. I feel sorry for all those that are stuck there still. Furthermore with such an influx of immigrants into one area it has driven the house prices and rent through the roof because the pace of immigration was nowhere near the housing starts, and cities think that everyone needs to be packed in like sardines and when you have that many people living in close proximity and you have such expensive living costs it's a disaster waiting to happen and it brings along with it tons of crime and drugs. The Trudeau government really messed up this country and the GTA Cities like Brampton are a shining example of that. It's sick that we pay as much as we do for government at all levels that are this idiotic. It's time we protested in the street and made the government at all levels fear the public again or it's never going to change.

I think this video generalize too much. It’s like this guy asked 3 person what they think about a whole country and made a video about it. I’m Canadian, I just bought a house for 100k. I graduated from college with 0$ student debts. I had back problems that are now gone and paid 0$ for it, and i absolutely never waited more than 2 hours at the hospital. I’m living in a peaceful community between mountains and the ocean. I totally love living in Canada and i legitimately cannot comprehend the hate about it. I worked in a lot of different Canadians cities with different communities and everyone has good things to say about our country. I travel a lot and when I see how life is elsewhere, I’m always glad to be back home.

Imma be honest I’m not surprised u moved to Canada Asians for the most part are always unaware about what goes on with the economies of the world unless u get your information from the news??.I mean seriously people it’s time to wake up in 2024 of course Canada isn’t a great country it hasn’t been in over 40 years same as my home country here in the USA where more Asians and Indians and Mexicans keep coming here but they will also learn the hard way about America ??.And don’t worry about it what they saying in the news it’s all garbage ?️ the problems in America and Canada including the u.k are server understated part of this is because these are developed countries with everything being so developed why would there be any problems I have talked to many Asians from Thailand and the Philippines ??.They literally told me they see USA as paradise like what the hell honestly because we have streets and expressways everywhere that’s exactly the problem and no agriculture no farming all warehouses and big retailers and no small businesses. All government shitty jobs paying average money we have some of the dirtiest and worst public transportation in the world it is so slow with constant delays and only go through major cities they will never fully extend it out into other areas.Condemning walking and by cycling is freaking insane to me making things more spread out instead of walkable.Allowing the cost of living and inflation to go up while keeping wages the same so your own citizens will get priced out of their own economy to allow foreigners to come in so u can get away with paying them less way to go America,Canada and the u.k.And don’t get me started with all of this dam regulations and laws being made surrounding everything my good ness man I’m so glad I’m leaving America all of these western countries are a hot piece of garbage.

Glad, we don't having any problems in education, jobs.???
|
| 2024-02-12 | 0 |
I am glad someone is honest about the problem.\n\nI'm surprised by how much everyone promotes moving to Nova Scotia, given the housing shortage that has led to exorbitantly high rents, a one-bedroom apartment in an old building costs 1,600, and in new building costs 3,500 per month. And for three people I pay 85 dollars of electricity every two months. Internet is 105 dollars per month. Professional salaries barely cover rent, food, and car expenses, as they are quite low, often ranging between $50,000 and $60,000 for positions requiring 5 to 10 years of experience, and sometimes even lower. Before you even see your paycheck, expect at least 30% to be deducted for taxes, as calculated by a Nova Scotia tax calculator. The healthcare system is struggling; last year, joining a list to be assigned a family doctor was estimated to take up to three years. For those seeking care at walk-in clinics, you must arrive before 7 am and wait in line; they only see the first 15 people, typically just on Mondays. If you're last, you might wait until noon or later to be seen. After working for 40 years, the pension is approximately $1,200, or less if you haven't worked the full duration with salaries over 60,000.
\n
\nI forgot to mention that prices in stores are without an additional 15% tax, you should add that to every product or service you purchase. If you want to go to a restaurant, an economical one, and buy a lasagna and something to drink, it will cost you at least 70 dollars. McDonalds and Tim Hortons, for three people, may cost 40 dollars, but it is your health.
\n
\nThe government is investing millions to attract students and new immigrants, making labor significantly cheaper for large companies. Individuals with low wages can't even afford the cheapest rent, resulting in some living in tents across cities and towns in Nova Scotia. With an annual inflation rate of 15% to 25%—and the official rate reflecting only a detailed list of products deemed as basic food items by the government—only the minimum wage is legally required to increase when deemed appropriate by the government. Other wages increase only if the employer decides to do so. How often do they do this out of kindness to their employees? That's a good question.
\n
\nYour work experience in other countries does not count. They want people with Canadian experience, so it is better to think you will start with a 35,000 salary per year. A house cost between 450,000 to 2,500,000. When are you going to save to pay for a house? The cheapest ones can be 200 years old. A 100 m2 apartment, new, not very elegant but nice, can cost more than 2 million dollars in downtown Halifax. People say it is due to money laundry, and for sure is not because the medium class is buying them.
\n
\nI have many friends, who graduated from Canadian colleges and universities that haven't gotten a job in their career even after four years of graduation... and the list is longer. Please, be honest with people like these girls.

I had major problems finding a job, even as a waiter, when I moved from Germany in 1990. I was so depressed. When I saw the poverty on the east-side of Vancouver I was shocked. Now 30 yrs later I see videos of the east-side and I cannot believe how worse it got. I am glad to live in Germany and Japan!!!!! Thank god!!! I have the money now to rent a motorhome in Canada and travel around for 4 weeks there, because I have money and time to do that. No way to do that as a regular canadian.

Canada has the same problem as the United States: wrong kind of politicians elected. Like the U.S., most Canadians consider themselves compassionate liberals and thus feel obligated to vote for said, compassionate liberal politicians. The problem is, for Canada and the U.S., these compassionate liberal politicians don't know how to run the nation's economy except to run it further into the ground. And when the problems get really bad, the solution is always, raise taxes because liberal politicians are either Marxist Socialist and believe the citizenry are obligated to pay higher and higher taxes for more government intervention, meaning, interference, in most cases.\n Whenever Canada does get around to voting in a conservative prime minister and government, the Canadian mass media immediately goes on a years-long negative campaign of deliberately undermining the government in the eyes of the Canadian People, demeaning them as inept and uncompassionate and comparing them to fascists. Eventually the Canadian People get so distressed they have to vote back in the liberal party. And then the same happens again.\n I'm just glad our Canadian brothers are not blaming the U.S. government or the CIA, but instead are clear-headed and courageous enough to blame their own government and past legislations and laws that do the exact opposite of what is supposed to happen, level the playing field for all Canadians.\n I'm reading about the outrageous pricing of Canadian housing and am astonished. But one YouTuber explained this about his Canada. Everyone in Canada wants to squeeze into the few, concentrated urban areas that concentrate business, finance, manufacturing, job opportunities, et al. As it happens, these areas are too few and far between. So what ends up happening is geographical overpopulation, despite Canada having a total population of around 32 million souls. People in California can certainly understand this phenomenon. You can purchase a 3-bedroom house out in California City, which is near the Mojave Desert, for $176,000, but there's nothing out there to make it worthwhile living there. Conversely, a tiny, 3-bedroom home in Torrance, Los Angeles, was selling for $800,000 in 2018. \n As realtors put it this way all the time, location, location, location!\n I'm going to pass on commenting on Canada's National Health Care. I've read criticisms from native Canadians on the Internet. As Canadians, they're entitled to say whatever they want about their country. If I, a Yank, open my big mouth, I'm going to get trolled by a hundred angry Canadians defending their National Health Care as the world's greatest socialized medical care. Health Care is already expensive enough in the U.S. Most people get it through their employer, which pays a part of it. But employees' monthly deductions for health insurance have been growing steadily over the past 30 years to where it's now a huge chunk out of one's monthly paycheck.

On my way to work this week, I was stopped at least 7 times by new immigrants \nwith a suitcase on wheels looking for a foodbank but could not speak a lick of \nEnglish. (They were lucky I could understand bits of their Mexican / Spanish)\n\nThey aren't my problem. They are Trudeau's problem. I never invited them here.\nI'm just glad I opened up my own business years ago and became successful \nbecause Trudeau's Canada has all the Govt jobs reserved for indigenous, black,\nlgbtq and other exclusive liberal groups. \n\nIf he can't even give jobs to those 'special groups' which I'm not a part of, then \nthey aren't my problem. I had to go get mine so go get yours.

New subscriber here! love your video! I’m from Mississauga and it’s literally the same problem here. I’m being evicted in two months. I’m a single mother who is under income and I cannot find anything. Even the government won’t even help. They put me on this ridiculous seven year waitlist. Which I have technically been on for 12 years, but they lost my application and made me reapply ?\n\nThey don’t care my child, and I are facing homelessness. Their excuse? Canada currently has an influx of newcomers that need homes first.\n\nI have a teenage boy and he has a lot of new Ukrainian refugees. Why are they not in shelters? I understand they need help, and Canada should gladly welcome them.\nBut they’re putting these families in literal condos. Nice condos. Government paid for one year. It’s absolutely fucking ridiculous.\n\nI know this is long, but if someone reads this that works in the government, I have a suggestion\n\nKeep taking refugees. Canada has a lot of land. We have the space to help these people.\n\nBut don’t put them in fucking cities! Go to Yukon Northwest Territories fuck go to the Maritimes. Don’t put them where there’s already a housing crisis.\n\nI don’t understand why Trudeau concentrates all refugees in cities. It’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.

I'm glad you touch on housing. It's become a huge problem to the point where far too many of the people we let in just can't afford anything and end up living on the street..\n\nI've also heard recently, that the growth in the average Canadian's net worth has been awful compared to the US, largely due to significantly higher growth in cost of living.\n\nBottom line - we let in a lot of people, but we're far from being able to offer them the standard of living that would be able to get in the States.

Maybe the feds should have shut down the Roxham road fiasco sooner. Just saying. They poured over that border like crazy and now we think there’s a problem? Look at every nation on earth being inundated. Pretty soon it will look like the places they were running from. All part of the plan in my opinion. Destabilizing the world one war at a time. No one can afford a house even with high paying jobs. Some towns are giving these people homes when they arrive! To hell with the locals! So as glad as I am you’re calling attention to Toronto’s problem, pointing out this other BS is pretty important too. It’s no different than what the UK is going through, except their situation is even worse! One thing is certain though, and it’s happening everywhere. The people are fed up.

I am so glad that I dedicated 3 years of my life and got a good college and Job in my own country India. After hearing about all the problems that the international students face on a daily basis life in India feels more easy

Uhhh can anyone say ‘invasion’? Where the living heck is the military?? Annnd give it a few months and we’ll start seeing half of them up here in Canada accessing all of our social programs ( ie: say good bye to healthcare for the rest of us who have paid into it our whole lives and may need it someday ) and probably being housed for free. No problem just bankrupt all the current citizens so we can hand our country over to them. ?♀️No problem. I’m so glad I was responsible with my money my whole life just to have it all taken away by illegal migrants.

i don t really know where you from, althought, enjoy your video though but i wonder what foreigners thinks about it cause as far as know , Canada overall, a lovely place to be even if consedering health care system as well homeless which is gettin worse and worse but don gt you think any other contry as their own issue? i am not judging you but you need to leave here to understand the canadian mentality. i get frustrated as well about ppverty and all others stuff but tell me any country that don t have any problem these days! poverty is everywhere and i m glad leaving in Montreal, we got everything we want except for health system which is a nightmare!

This issue does not have enough coverage, I'm so glad you guys made this video as even I knew nothing about the problems these students were having. Seeing her father makes me so sad but I'm happy he's able to stay positive and proud of her
