Very well done video & Thank YOU for showcasing the point of view from "real Canadians". As an immigrant who came to this country & fell in love with its culture 40 years ago, it's appalling to see how our beautiful first world country is quickly becoming a gutter. The newcomers these days are the privileged ones. All of us need to speak up, especially those of us immigrants who retain our original accents &/ non-white because our white fellow Canadians are accused of being racist whenever they do (though many could learn to be more eloquent. ie. go back to your country does NOT help)! I see it as my Canadian duty to remind "misbehaving" newcomers the reason they left their country in the first place. ie. You chose Canada for a better life, so why try to change it into the one you left? ie. Help me understand your logic? Why not leave your hate & war at the border; just like normal folks won't bring stinky garbage into their new homes. Life is challenging enough when you uprooted to a new country (especially our unforgiving cold Winter). So, just focus on the positive things in your new country & leave all your miseries behind... ie. Learn to adapt & enjoy your new country. Canada is a great country because of the love & effort of those before you, so now you are the beneficiary. Join the legacy by enhancing this beautiful country & its culture, so you can pass on this century old legacy for later newcomers to enjoy, like you do now. What dignity do you have & what kind of life lessons to your children by bullying your culture & religion into Canada at the expense of other Canadians? This will fracture Canada if everyone does that. Do you want this country to become so fractured & terrible that your descendants have to leave for a better country, like you did? Is that what your religion teaches you? Does it state it's perfectly fine to satisfy all your whims & wishes at the expense of others? Are you striving for Canadians to think badly of your race/culture? Are you being a good ambassador to your race/community/culture/religion? Canadians are so friendly & helpful, if you need help, just ask, please don't demand. Learn the language & it's ok to speak broken/pigeon English with gestures to communicate. No one expects you to be an English scholar; you gain respect for trying. Apply some basic Canadians manners, which goes a long way... Please & Thank You, Smile doesn't cost you anything, besides it's good exercise for your facial muscles. I worked my entire career with the public, I very seldom encounter negative feedback when I do the above. If they get nasty, I tell them that's definitely not the Canadian way to make friends & wish them Good Luck! I also make a point in telling the wealthy ones "Tax Avoidance is legal (I'm more than happy to show them), but Tax Evasion is not! Then reminding them....Canada will be bankrupt eventually if everyone don't pay their fair share of taxes. ie. You may not suffer, but your children/grandchildren will. Worst Case scenario, you didn't get the necessary medical care when you most needed it!!!
We should lobby for a mandatory course that all newcomers have to take & PASS a test about Canadian culture & expectations. If they fail, no citizenship for sure! But that would be another hornets nest because our parliament will debate over definition of "Canadian Culture" for decades. Welcome to Canada!😂

I was born and raised here. I've given birth to 6 children whom all have issues finding employment. Because all the jobs are taken every convenience store every timorhorns, every Taco Bell, every Burger King. Is taken their jobs and giving them to newcomers. I'm not against people coming over to our beautiful land and enjoying and contributing.
Insane that? You've
Come to us kindly respect us. Don't take Uber the way it is going right now.
We are gonna be the minority and what's gonna happen 50 years down the road? Our great grandkids are gonna be going after the government. Looking for a handout because our government has given away all of our jobs.
They've given away our security. I will our elderly need to work until almost the day they go in the ground, so many homeless families. Some of it.
Is self situitional some of it? Is because, for a simple 3 bedroom. There's 2 grand add your hydro. Add, your heat. Winter is coming like one of the ladies in the video. As she said, there's nothing left over. Where is our? Where is our Pat? On the back our gratitude, I am a people person. It doesn't matter color shape sighs. I love everybody as an individual but I like understanding when they're talking to me too. I don't know if this is gonna do any good. I really don't and I'm not trying to sound rude or racist cause. I am not it's just one lonely. Worker's outlook on the world and how Canada has become. Thank you to our government.

Great video, thank you. All true! Subscribed :D We CAN survive and thrive without Indians, we did so for centuries building this country. My family has been here since 1680, this country was made and became great on its own with only European settlers, then opening to others it was GREAT prior to 2015 and Trudeau.

Dude I love your videos. You do an amazing job at reporting the TRUTH and FACTS. When you said the high level politicians are protecting the people that harm their voters is a great way to put it. Your explanations are good and u drive home the points. Thank you for all you do. And God bless you and your family, I wish nothing but happiness and prosperity for all of you!!!

This was a great video! My family and I are considering relocating to Canada from the USA, as we are dual citizens, and this helps to explain what’s really going on up there. Still very interested in moving to Canada, but will need to do more research on areas that I think are best for us. Thank you for this detailed video!

Thank you, great video. Excellent overview of the issues, which you understand better than most Canadians because you've lived thru the transition.\nWe need your pragmatic reasoning to be heard by politicians.\nI'm not anti-immigration but rather support targeted immigration. We have to make immigration work for Canada and immigrants alike. We have to increase our GDP thru targeted investments in our society.

Thank you so much for this. In spite of being born in Ontario, I learned a lot about Canada! My entire family was born and grew up either in Toronto or in the then-small towns closeby. My father moved us to upstate NY in 1957 when I was 9 years old, me kicking and screaming all the way. I was devastated to be leaving Canada, and now at 77, I've decided this life-long yearning to return to my birthplace has to become reality. I've started the process, hoping I may gain some points because I'm a former citizen :) . I still have lots of family in several provinces; people I haven't seen since we were children, and some of us are great-grandparents now. I feel strongly that I need to leave this world in the place where I began :) Thanks again for the great video!

I arrived in Toronto in 1961. At that time it was referred to as ‘Toronto the Good’ and it was. Pearson airport was a wooden shack with a 1960’s style restaurant. \nThe changes I have witnessed since then have been mind boggling and concerning to say the least. The increase in crime is the thing I find most disturbing. \nI have written numerous emails to our politicians at all levels expressing my concerns. All of you out there who are concerned need to do the same. \nThis was a great video. Thank you.

Read this Fournier. The definition on immigrant means to “permanently live in foreign country” YOU choose to move here Fournier , why? Because where you came from a country that sucks as$. Don’t move here and fing complain about Canada which accepted your privileged, entitled, immigrant ass. Remember your country SUCKS, which is why you left there, so, go back to where you came from, if your 3rd world dumpster trash hole was a utopia why did you leave ? Go home, Fournier and make a video of why you left your crappy country and why you left? Canada welcomes you to leave and go back to the 3rd world and not post stupid crap like this. Go make your homeland great and fix it if you can’t survive in Canada, most us born here are doing just fine. Thank you. Shut UP and don’t let the door hit you on your flat ass when you leave.

Great video. Thank you! My experience was a bit quite different when I arrived there in 2007. I did have support in bureaucracy and German skills. My university gave me almost free courses and scholarship payed full time courses with living cost included. I did have the luck to meet good Germans friends that helped me and made me feel included. After some years, when I wanted to pursuit a natural career path is when I found difficulties. Being promoted more than senior engineer, a manager positions or a Professor position were out of my reach because of me being different. My earnings aspirations soon reached a limit and then decided to leave to California. I have full respect and love for Germany, but there I was not able to be what I wanted to be. Now I have achieved more abroad. However, I still miss some things from my life there.

*EXCELLENT* explanation on how we got here - minus the Liberal Party's partnership/marriage to the Century Initiative. Thank you for the info on housing, that too was great. I will spread this video around! PS, the 'breakup' today, I am not falling for it for one second, NOTHING will change except Jagmeet now gets to claim he isn't in a coalition lol. *_DO NOT TRUST THIS GOVERNMENT!_*

After 10 years living in BC, Canada, even while having a great job (EA Sports), I do not regret my decision of leaving.\nWe all have seen the current development and it's not that hard to picture where is this going. So, nope, no thanks, not for me.\n\nI applaud your courage and work to get this video done Alina, wonderful work. Hopefully you can find a beautiful place you can soon call home.

Great video Alina and thank you for sharing your well balanced perspective. Born and raised in Canada to immigrant parents who came in 1970. I left in 1992 and came back in 2015 and left again for good in 2020 mainly due to the draconian covid restrictions. It was the best decision I ever made in my life and I have never looked back. From my point of view, Canada is beyond unrecognizable today and the leaders in Ottawa have sold the country and the people down the river along time ago and sadly the real serious Canada is nothing but a memory. I feel sorry for the immigrants who come to Canada and have a romanticized vision of the nation. They have no idea what they have gotten themselves into. I wish you all the best and I have no doubt that you will successfully shape your own path. God bless! ❤️?

Great Video. Thank you for posting. Please do what your heart tells you to do. People change, government change, situations change, and country change. So, we have to change as well. That means, sometimes, moving to new country as well. \nGood decision !!! You can always come back when you feel things are better.

I moved here 2018 . Canada has been great to me .I was able to go to college and graduate. Thanks to the student loan.\n\nIt's true, job has declined and things are getting harder since COVID-19 and Trudeau is doing very badly. Next election l will vote Conservative.\n\n\nTalking about religion, l am glad you are leaving. I am ex-Muslim and l believe more Muslims mean less freedom. I challenge you to do a video like this with your wife in Afghanistan.

Thanks for making this video and spreading the truth of what's happening in Toronto. As someone born and raised in this city, I would sadly have to say to stay away from here now. In the past I would have said this is one of the best cities to live in. It was a great city and now it's a dead city.
