Another fact if a skilled immigrant like a Doctor come to Canada under a skilled immigrant program , apply wait in home country and gets his PR before coming.. the doc need to show funds to support him/her and the family. He/she gets shit from the Govt , the Doc has to spend his/her own money to get credentials recognized, go back to uni at own cost . While asylum seekers gets everything free doing shit all day.

The country needs the right type of temporary workers that can support the building of housing and not cheap agriculture labor. Also from a student point of view; if they are studying in areas which aren't aligned to the needs of the country then need to go back home. It would be a disservice to Canadian's and the students to keep them here.

Let me use this opportunity to bring awareness to the oppression of Tibetans. No, I am not talking about the Tibetans in China. I am talking about Tibetans in occupied South Tibet, which was annexed by India in 1951 and made a state by India in 1987 to become the so-called Arunachal Pradesh. South Tibet includes Tawang, birthplace of the Sixth Dalai Lama and home to a four-hundred-year-old Tibetan Monastery. The Tibetans in occupied South Tibet are fast becoming strangers in their own native homeland because the Indian government is settling Indians in the region to change the demographic structure of the area and trashing the place just like the Indians did in India or in Canada. The Indians like to mock them, calling them Chinese as a form of insult (sometimes using slurs such as the C* word or the M* word). Rape by Indians in occupied South Tibet is a major source of anger among the locals toward the thuggish Indian occupiers. Another thing is that India doesn't trust the locals and likes to accuse them of being Chinese spies if they don't display enough loyalty to the Indian occupier. This area is tightly controlled by India, with limited access to the outside world. In 2014, a Tibetan Chinese called Nido Tania went to Delhi and was beaten to death because he looked 'Chinese'. His case was hardly an isolated one. Northeasterners in India have for years endured racial hatred by the Indian people. They have held demonstrations in New Delhi, but not much has changed. On December 9, 2025, a Chinese-looking youth from the north-east Indian state was murdered by racist Indian thugs. The thugs mocked him with racist taunts like "CHINKI, MOMO, CHINESE," etc., and then the youth was mercilessly beaten to death. This is not the first nor will it be the last case of racism against the north eastern people living under New Delhi's oppression. No killer or rapist of the northeastern people has ever been brought to justice. The Indian political leadership does nothing more than produce hollow words of sympathy: "I AM VARY VARY SAARY!" There was not even a single word of support or remorse from the high priest of the Bar-Rat hindu empire: Modi. The greatest irony and shameless hypocrisy of India and Indians is that the murdered youth's father is serving in the Indian Border Security Force and deployed along the border with China. He is fighting against China for a country that is ready to kill him and his family for looking Chinese. Some years back, yet another rape case by Indian soldiers occurred in Bomdila, South Tibet. The local police detained the two suspects, and the Indian military, fearing that the two suspects would be lynched, stormed the police station, vandalized it, and rescued the two suspects. This leads to massive protests by the local people. Eventually, the unrest caught the attention of New Delhi, and India flew in the defense minister to Bomdila to make a show of force to suppress the protests. Today, South Tibet is restless, and India knows it. This is the reason a law called the AFSPA (Armed Forces Special Power Act) is imposed on South Tibet. AFSPA gives the state the power to detain or kill anyone with impunity. No due process is needed. AFSPA is imposed on areas India deems restless, such as South Tibet and Kashmir. It is a law meant to suppress dissent and instill fear among the populace. The Tibetans in occupied South Tibet are voiceless people because they are not the right kind of Tibetans, so their plight is ignored by the Western world. I have yet to hear from the Western media any concern for the human rights abuses of the Tibetans in occupied South Tibet by India. P.S. I am using the word Tibetan as an umbrella term to include the various Sino-Tibetan Burmese people (Monpa, Abotani (called Lhotba on the Chinese side),..etc. The Sixth Dalai Lama was a Monpa) in South Tibet. The Sixth Dalai Lama is known for his many love poems and romantic escapades outside the Potola Palace. Sadly, his hometown, Tawang, is now under India's occupation since 1951. The Tawang Monastery is the last major frontier monastery before the area merged into the tribal region. It historically enjoyed a close relation with the Beijing central government. I know it's not on most people's radar, but what is a huge problem that no one talks enough about is how when so many temporary foreign workers come here, they make money in Canadian dollars and then send that money out of our economy to their home Country. So our Canadian dollars are sold, and isn't spent in our Economy. When you go somewhere and you don't see any born in Canada employees you really need to make a choice to not support that business. Canadian wages should go to Canadians and spent in our economy. I hope we wise up and we start to really limit how many people we bring into the Country. We're literally bringing in 400K+ people that's about the size of Halifax, EVERY year. We just cannot support this rapid growth. Especially when the people coming in have no intention of integrating and do not share our values.

This is what gets me, I’m an immigrant. I came from a place where we speak a broken dialect of English. As part of my processing, I had to demonstrate my ability to speak the queen’s english. To work, the expectation is you’re able to communicate effectively with whoever you’re interfacing. These folks come here, make zero attempt to improve or learn English or French - the national languages. They go home after the day is done, revert to their native tongue. How would you ever perfect something like a language without some degree practice and immersion? And they do this with their generations. The 1st and sometimes 2nd generation kids will speak their native tongue first, before learning English or French. It’s like the language they should speak to effectively work and live in Canada is an accessory. The govt at all levels encourage this by having driving tests and forms in other languages. And don’t get me started on the pockets - Brampton for example. The politicians kowtow to the voters and give in to them having huge temples, and nonstandard shopping complexes. It’s a running joke how many Indians will be living in the same house, renting from other Indians collecting money under the table in completely unsanctioned and illegal rental scenarios. Companies set up by Indians, to service Indians. So they don’t even care to present as Canadian business with English / French. I’m in the midst of charting my family’s exit from Canada. It’s become something entirely unrecognizable. Where those who know how to game the system get ahead, those of us who play the rules - stay behind. I’ve worked my way up to being upper middle class. I’m about done paying for Indian “students” who later claim to be refugees. Who are now claiming to be in gay relationships, to support their refugee cases. It’s all a joke.

Every metric that made our Canadian lives great is being destroyed by mass immigration. But without it the ridiculous real estate market the..ahem....bankers created by lending money to international criminals to buy our Canadian homes to wash their dirty money will collapse on said bankers. So Canada has to become India to support their questionable usury behaviours.

Canada’s government is out of control. Immigration levels have exploded far beyond what housing, jobs, and infrastructure can support. With roughly 2.9 million temporary residents in the system, affordability has collapsed rent, food, and services are stretched to the breaking point. When permits expire, people must return home as the system was designed, not be quietly rolled over. Immigration has to match capacity. Bring people when there are jobs and homes not when the cost of living is already crushing everyone. Fix Canada first, then expand responsibly.

I am a home support worker, who works with those in thier last 6 months of life. I havent gottrn a raise in 8 years. Some if not all immigrants get a subsidy from the gov as well as their wages. My rent has raised 235 dollars a month in the past year but the immigrants have their rent paid for the the same gov who hasnt given us a raise. My 16 yr old grandaughter was working at subway and an immigrant harrassed her, touched her face, told her how sexy she was a.s that he wanted to have sex with her. And wheb she said she was only 16 yrs ol and he was 38, he said its ok in my culture. Subway did quietly fire him, but made her sign a confidentially clause.

This is a horrible situation on both ends and the fact that its all 100% administration failure is sad. Its not fair to anyone not even the immigrants. They keep bringing in more people then the economy can afford to live here I frankly find it ridiculous. I want to know whats driving these policies to continue. My parents came to canada 25 years ago, they payed thousands of dollars to get status here. Now people are getting in as cheap labour that can't even afford to live here so they dogpile 10-15 people in the same 2-3 bedroom apartments or houses and the infrastructure is still being built on the logic of single families when in the reality thr opposite is happening we have sudden crowding because rent is unaffordable due to the massive influx of people, including canadian born nationals that are forced to live in these environments if they don't have support- Its crazy why not close your borders stabilize rebuild infrastructure then slowly work on immigration policies again when the housing market and job market are stable again. Theres absolutely no reason to cite labour shortages when theres an unemployment rate and homeless people everywhere- close the borders- get homes built, throw heavy incentives to join and get educated on any productive field that has a shortage upto and including providing shelter to canadian citizens that decide to pursue these fields and are homeless. Have a fast track rotating incentive down to the year along with guaranteed on job training for all occupations. Such a simple solution so stupid we can't execute it. Too busy squabbling liberal conservative baseline rhetoric that we made ourselves blind to the human cost in our own borders.

I live in Ontario, a few hours from Brampton. I say this so you understand when I say "Khalistanis GO HOME" I fucking mean it. The problem is that Canada didn't just take immigrants from India, they took in criminals in the name of "asylum". In certain parts of India, there used to be small-scale separatist movements, back in 1970s and 1980s. Senior Trudeau saw this as an opportunity to vent his frustration for India's not signing of NPT . So the guy kept giving "asylum" to the violent separatists, to "teach India a lesson" (Yeahh... sure) Gradually, it became so that once you have gained enough rep in organised crime, drug trade, so that it's difficult for you to stay under the radar in India, running from law enforcement, you would run to Canada, UK or Australia, and ask for asylum, with whatever reason. And those countries, in their stupid sense of righteousness, would accept it without any background checks. Now, yes, it's a trouble for us (good job), because most of the gang leaders are hiding away in these countries, running their operations remotely. Indian officials are only able to nab the low-level gang members. But it also means that these countries now ALSO have the worst criminals in their cities. And once they settle down, they will do what they know best .... crimes. And gradually they become a problem for their host countries, as well as other Indians in these countries. (Whenever Khalistanis do any parade, they force other Indian families to put up their yellow flags on their homes, to make it look like they have massive support) It's not good for anyone, but these countries have put themselves in a position from which they have no idea how to extricate themselves. Sure, you may blame Indians. But we were literally asking you to send those criminals back, and you refused to do so. Now they are your problem. If they create problems for us, then maybe, they will drop de** in some parking lot. But apart from that, most of their activities are going to be Canada's problem to deal with. They are already turning the streets of Canada into a drug paradise, hurting the young people of both local and Indian origins. Such a waste of life and potential.

The damage is done. Liberals ruined this country and let us down. They are just importing their voters. In 10 years they’ve been in power they created tones of new citizens to vote for them. I’m a first generation immigrant. The selection process for us was extremely hard. We were well educated professionals with university degrees, healthy (checked), had to provide funds allowing us to live for at least 6 months without any support from welfare organizations, no OHIP for 3 months. Why has this system been changed? How do all these people without education, money or skills coming here? Why our country is flooded with illegal immigrants? I love Canada dearly. It’s my home now. So of course any business like retail or restaurant’s biggest overhead is labour costs so if they can save like $6.00 an hour on every employee why wouldn’t they opt in for that. I also did a very deep dive into the voters in Canada. At least 4.5 million out of the 8.5 million voted the Carney liberals got in April 2025 were immigrant votes. That’s why Carney and liberals pander to the gigantic Muslim population in Canada. Muslims, Chinese, Indians from India, Ukrainians, Filipinos they all pretty much vote liberal. There weee over 100 Muslim groups that told their Muslim community to only vote for candidates that support Gaza Muslims and Palestinians. How is that not election interference. We know the Chinese directly interfere in our elections by threatening Chinese Canadians to vote liberal or their families in China will be harmed or they will be harmed inside Canada. In June Carney said Muslim values are Canadian values. Either this clown has no idea how radical Islam is or he knows and just panders for votes. Liberal cabinet ministers Anita Anand and Melanie Joly they both openly campaigned saying they must support Palestine because they both have large Muslim populations in their respective ridings. Over half of the liberal voter base is foreign now. I started in 2019 telling the federal conservatives look the liberals are importing new liberal voters. The party needs a strategy to win over the immigrant vote. I proposed hiring a team of individuals from the Muslim community, Chinese community etc to brainstorm on how to get their message across that if your an immigrant your best to vote conservative because the liberals don’t care about them they just want their vote. Show them how they may never own a home, how their kids will be worse off than them. That buy bringing in about 2 million more immigrants a year it is causing inflation and the affordability crisis. I believe if you can show these immigrant communities the truth they may consider voting conservative. Bit of the conservatives refuse to pivot we will never see another federal conservative govt in our lifetimes. It’s not racist it’s the truth. We need a foreign registry act to kick out foreign entities that harass bully and threaten immigrants in Canada to bend the knee or else. If we have 100 Islamic groups telling their community it’s yo only vote one way charge them with election interference. We need electoral reform badly in Canada. We need to end all immigration to Canada for at least 5 years maybe even 10. We need to deport those here illegally. No more fake asylum claims. This country can still be saved but we need immigrants on board to help save it. We need to remove broadcasting licenses of mainstream media networks that lie and bash conservatives. That’s deliberate political interference. It’s time we enforce the law. No more hate speech or hate crimes against any community especially the Jews. Deport these ppl back to Gaza if they are here on visas or revoke their citizenship and send them packing. We need ICE in Canada like they have in America. It’s long over due. If we get a hold of our borders and we stop the drugs we would have a new trade deal with Trump tomorrow. I heard why the government did the immigrants wrong. I was talking to an uber driver and my pharmacist. They told me the promises of luxury in Canada has and offered for them to live a better lives. They didn't know after they came here for work and or college/university they become in major debt. They said that they're in a luxury debt and never getting out of debt knowing that they're stuck in Canada and can't be allowed to leave unless they pay off the debts. That's 100 % wrong to do that to people when they know they don't feel welcomed and want to go home. I'm a metis Canadian and I had to leave Ontario to find affordability and miss my home. GOVERNMENT THIS IS YOUR FAULT AND YOU KNOW IT! Let them go home in debt. You made this mess. FIX IT! Including the baby boomers that made the problem started 8 % rate interests to buy houses. That was a mistake that should be bought 1 house and nothing else. I forgot to add something. The uber driver told me that india doesn't know that it's a debt luxury trap that you can't leave unless you pay your debt. He felt alone and found some people and the internet to make himself feel better temporary. TEMPORARY! He hates it here, but he respects Canadians. He feels sorry for the new ones that are coming to become debt trap. It's the same for the pharmacy. She got into college to be a pharmacy and bought the store. She is on low income but doesn't qualify for any supports like benefits to pay off her medical things. The reason she can't because they'll see the pharmacy store is income. Wait what? So she doesn't quilify for benefits because she's making income to pay off her massive loan to do her job. It's not enough to live by as what she told me. She also does misses home, but also traped in luxury debt. This is what I have learned so far. I went through a car accident and coudln't get out of the car. I thought in Brampton, Ontario was the rudest people on the planet, but was saved by the angels of indian people saved me out of the vehicle from the smoke. I still thank you! I’m a Canadian Jamaican and I don’t recognize the country. The people coming in lately are hostile to the place they seek support from. It’s ridiculous and bazaar. I’m seeing so many places for rent stipulating that they outright prefer or are seeking Indian. I’m not white but I’m tempted to post an ad for place to rent and say it’s for for white tenants just to behold what happens. I mean we have never witnessed such conduct in Canada until these #&? ckers popped up. Even the prior immigrants are stunned. I’ve been working since 78 and now a senior but when I try to get help for housing I’m offered a night only shelter with mental and drug abusers to go try sleep in or the sidewalk or countless apologies. If I could put apologies in the bank, I would be rich While the former Marriott 2minutes up the street is home to all kinds of refugees. Don’t get injured, get any older or anything like that and unable to work in this country now as you’re much better off passing away.

I'm a born and raised Canadian, as well as my husband. Even before our country was completely taken over, employment was hard to come by because of the fw's. 8 years ago, my husband had enough with trying to find a job, he stopped counting at over 450 resumes that were ignored, so he decided that we should start our own company, a small delivery company that 2 years later, we added a safe ride service to (driving drunk people home in their own vehicle). I was the manager of a little pizza place, which was run by immigrants, but good ones. I was hired because my husband approached them about doing deliveries, and they wanted to meet me. I had no idea I was going for an interview but they begged me to work for them, their reason; although they could speak English, they weren't fluent in it, so they wanted an English speaking employee who could easily understand the customer's. Within days, I was promoted to manager, and I loved my job and all of them. They treated everyone with such kindness and generosity. I found out just how much support they got from our government, when I broke down one day because I couldn't afford my prescription. My boss was so confused because he and his family got free prescriptions, dental, eye care, etc and they thought everyone got that. My boss paid for my prescription and actually apologized to me for how our own government treated us. He also showed me that they get $2,500 every 2 weeks, funding to start or buy businesses, but if they don't hire other fw's or immigrants, that funding changes to a grant and they have to pay it back. They are given money for housing, and vehicles. He was pushed out of that business by his 2 partners, and the partner's promised him I would keep my job. That was a complete lie. They stopped putting me on the schedule, claiming financial problems (bs), but hired not one but two new full time immigrant employees. I lost it and quit. Our town isn't that big, and word spread fast, especially when everyone found out that I was still owed over $2,000, which I will never see because no government agency will help me. Their business is actually struggling now and I love that for them. As for my husband and I's business, it's going strong but I came unglued when we recieved a letter from the government "suggesting" that we hire immigrants. I wrote back, telling them in no uncertain terms would that ever happen, and it will be a cold day in hell when one of us steps back so one of the government's favored people can take that money from us because we are the only 2 employees and we're not sacrificing a damn thing for someone who already gets everything.

The great peaceful Canada that I call Home is going down the drain. The government has done this to our people. Immigration on the rise. The Liberals are still bringing in new immigrants and supporting them. Our children can’t find jobs and if they do it takes months to get one. Why does the government house immigrants? Why are we the tax payers footing the bill. We as Canadians are stressed!! Why do we have to leave a country that we live in. The Government has let down their people.

The biggest problem is they come to our home to escape a hell in their own country. But then they try to turn our country into the one they ran from. They try to change the ways we who were born and raised here are aloud to live our lives as we always have. My first job ever was tim hortons. Now im watching teens unable to gain independence unless their parents i Know someoneone who can hire them meanwhile no one can understand the person taking their order at tim hortons...Canada is to expensive now and we dont have the means to support these people anymore. Its costing us more with what they have done to our economy . Some of these people have zero care for human life ether they drive like A holes and cause accidents that cost lives. Canada is no longer a welcoming happy country. We are exhausted from busting our ass to keep a roof over our head leaving us unable to afford other things even food. Its not that they are all awful people (some are) but we CANT support them anymore we need to be able to support ourselves again !! The last 2 prime ministers are also to blame in reality. As an albertan i dont even care about anyone east of manitoba because they chose to vote this reality to life. I wanna see western canadas money stay on the west end of this country. I agree with the these people's comments regarding the immigration issues. I've been Canadian for over 50 years and this is the worst I've seen or experienced here in this country. Why are we as major tax payers are forced to finance the lives of these people who are only here to take from us, not give back in any way for us who supported them coming in to feel it's been a good decision made by our government, from our pockets. They do also bring their war, stealing, lying, scamming with them, creating more division with us who were living peacefully before. There's so much more that I see and experience now, that makes me want to leave, and it shouldn't be me who leaves home for others who have no good intentions.

Um so tired of going to a store all immigrants working. Make a phone call it's answered by an immigrant. You can't understand them . I love on ccpd I don't get old age pension yet. I'm too old to get the child tax credit and I'm on a Canada pension disability. I get 713.00 a min to live on. Period. That's it. 😢😢😢 I struggle every day. I live in a seniors housing complex..so my rent is adjusted to fit my income. Thank God for housing I'd be homeless if it wasn't for them. 😢😢 But the immigrants have money. Have jobs. Drive new cars. Get free rent for a year. I waited 9.5 hours at the emergency😢😢 not the Indians they have Indian drs that work there for them. How in the hell is this ok. I ended up leaving the emergency I couldn't wait any longer. I sat there in pain all that time and two Indian families came in during that time and within 20 min at the most they were in and out. They even have an advertisement in the emergency room in their language with all the Indian drs working there. Wtf is going on. I'm tired of seeing these people. They are opening businesses here. Everything you see now is written in English, French and Indian. They call it our third language now. There are building going up that have only immigrants in them. A d I live in a small town but the city. Come on. They stopped saying the Lord's prayer in schools. They can't say Merry Christmas. Christmas concerts are called Holliday concerts now. Our kids don't know the national a them they stopped that. They don't know the Lord's prayer they stopped that. The schools are changed to not make other nationalities feel bad. They get their Holliday's off and our Holliday's off..why? We don't get their off. Yeah I'm just a plain white person who lived in Canada all my life. 64 years. I've never seen this in my days. The US isn't launching a trade war against anyone. We are closing up shop and are getting ready to take care of our own. There is a massive difference. We cannot be expected to continue supporting other countries economies and defense obligations, when we have 2 generations of working class citizens unable to afford a home or have children. We have entire countries we could fill with the homeless and incarcerated, and veterans who see little to no positive treatment or respect within the job market.
