i like being a multi culture country (canada) but different cultures have there strong points and weak points . mostly if there coming from another country..for example im by a college.. alot of indians. so there smart and keep to themselves..(good thing i guess) but if you try talking to your indian neighbour there anti social with you. (bad thing) im white in a small biker town.. were generally friendly with first impression but can be judgemental. so. take people for who they are.

I was NOT expecting Tyler to come to Canada, I'M ACTUALLY IMPRESSED THEY LET YOU IN!!! The fatigue is BEYOND real.

The points system is why Canadians have a good impression of immigrants. When you let in english or french speaking well or over-educated new citizens, people will have a good impression of these hardworking people. When you let in gobs of just anyone.. you end up with Brampton, Ontario, or Sweden, where foreign nationals have brought their own opinion of how life should be to a previously high trust/well functioning area. Like the opposite of gentrification. Basically slumification, a reduction in trust, an increase in crime, an increase in corruption.. Who would have thought there would one day be new Canadian citizens calling for Sharia Law in Canada? That is when immigration "jumped the shark", and the system needs fixing. And Canada already has the fix: Limit immigration to economically well off migrants who meet the points quota: ie, they are educated and speak english or french. And greatly restrict refugees... we have enough homeless and economically useless people, we do not need more.

Trudeau should call Trump, it's set so high at 25 to make some sort of deal. I get the impression that Trump would like Canada to set up some shops in the US and get some benefits to help build the shops. When a new tariff is put in place, you have to call Trump to remove the tariff like last time.

As an American from South Carolina, I am so impressed and appreciative of Canada and Prime Minister Trudeau. His speech is Sincere and Caring… so Refreshing!! I am with Canada and Ukraine!!

I know a lot of people don't care for Trudeau. I am actually pretty impressed with him, and on his way out, he is showing his strength and intelligence. Have just watched “Newsnight” in the U.K. where Melanie Joli was being interviewed. One very very impressive lady - she didn’t pull any punches and said just how it is. Canada is the only country to have the guts to say the truth about the current U.S. administration. Let’s hope more countries have the guts to stand up to Trump.

I have to confess I don´t know much about the actual canadian politics. But this reaction of Mr. Trudreau was very impressive. As a german European I know we are together in this completely insane situation initalised by the pathetic performance of the Trump administration. But with Canada on our side, with a strong leader as Trudeau I´m optimistic that the european leaders will also unite and focus not on their differences but on the common interest to stop this destructive US Goverment from destroying the free western society.

Trump is a joke but nobody is laughing. Trudeau puts Trump to shame. This was an impressive speech and chilling to the bone. People should understand the undertone that this already is the first stage of a war. As a European living in Canada I noticed right after we got here that quality and even availability of good European product is lacking. All the American backwards product never impressed me. The only thing is that Canadians are so slow with everything. Also nice Toyota trucks, right from Asia, I never understood that just because they aren't available in the US, why don't we have them here?
