As a Canadian born Chinese guy, i couldn't agree more with the people who said they refuse to assimilate. It's honestly embarrassing for people like my parents who immigrated and assimilated properly to Canada many years ago. Same can be said about the mainland Chinese people in Vancouver. Like the whole driving thing...people dont follow the rules and have patience, gee, i wonder where tf that came from, b/c it was never like that when I got my license 20 years ago. Tbh blue coat man was legit a lot like my dad

I am a Korean international student studying in Canada. These types of news makes me really frustrated.. I heard that due to these reasons, immigration officers has been taking very long time to process study visa permits. I 100% agree with immigration officers that they need to carefully review the applications, because I also think things like this shouldn’t happen in any countries. But, I’m getting frustrated because this is delaying innocent international students’ visa process as well. I’ve finished my undergraduate studies and I decided to pursue master’s under a professor i met in my current university. I was very excited to study the field, and i applied for study extension visa months ago, and still haven’t gotten any updates from IRCC. So I couldn’t get enrolled in Fall semester. I’m still waiting, and i really hope that i can continue studying.. luckily my professor understood this situation and he said he can hold a position for me, but i’m still very anxious about all the situation. I hope all people who come to Canada are honest and don’t do illegal things. I really want them to realize that they are affecting students who just want to study. They are taking away the opportunity for others to learn.

I totally agree with you. You are an immigrant and now Canadian and you I would not have a problem with staying, but these ones that are trying to change everything to their belief can go back to their country. Couldn’t have said it better than what you’re doing

It's quite understandable when it seems overnight Canada is invaded by Indians from India! What happened? Did the Canadian borders opened wide for the Indians to march in, or were the immigration staff permanently zonked on marijuana and didn't notice or just couldn't be bothered with stopping them over the last 3 to 4 years? Maybe. But really, the problem was definitely created by that despicable moron Trudeau( who even Trump could say to him in his face when he knelt and begged Trump not to hurt Canada with his tariffs, Trump just say ok if you agree to let Canada be the US's 51 st state!). He must have suffered from a terrible serious attack on his mental faculty and zonked on chanting Hari Krishna simply allowing his goons in charge of immigration to approve to let in that tidal wave of Indians especially in the last 4 years! What to do now? While we hate Trump for what he's doing to Canada on tariffs, Carney should give good thoughts to adopt actions like Trump's ICE GOONS to deport those who entered Canada illegally, and stop extension of visas to the zillions admitted on temporary work visas, and the tens of thousands of students who registered as "student" on student visas in private unregistered/approved institutes in name, but are actually working in various jobs illegally e.g. construction, etc.

In My 50 years of life I have never seen such a diplomatic failure. no kidding, I had to go work (2week contract water treatment DAFT system installation) in Bellingham, WA two years ago and I thought I was gonna get mugged by cartel gang bangers everyday that pretty well ran the lobby and halls of the Bellingham Lodge... couldn't afford anything better, and the company (Tradesman International) did not pay the per-diem as they originally agreed to! Aside that, the Asian owner ran my card again for the hotel charge, and I had to go through my bank's fraud dept. to get it back. They don't shut down or investigate the hotel! WTF? Everything in WA state is corrupt!

I couldn't agree more I thought I was in Canada lol...this is it because of all the immigrant that got 1000000 placed in nav Canada Cornwall Ontario. Hour dump is already full and they have to drive 40 minutes to bring them somewhere else. Everywhere you look they is one of them. I know everyone is not going to agree with this, but I just want to be rational. Do you realize Mexico can't own a gun but the cartels are heavenly armed even more so than the military. And yes, fast and furious we knew this., why don't we? Arm the surveillance and teach them how to fight. Maybe they can stand up for themselves just like the people in Ukraine. i'm happy there are people here who agree, but having your voice heard only as a youtube comment is not the answer. do you know how countries in europe managed to get ahead in healthcare? patients went to the press with recorded videos about their experience. and yes, initially the journalists dismissed this as non news, but it only needed one to go with it. and it made waves. now a 2hr wait in the ER in europe is met by the tv crew. \ncanadians refuse to do it. when i came to canada 25 years ago a 2hr wait was normal. now it's 9hrs and still no discontent voices. no politician is running on healthcare, but on cutting taxes and on giving back a few hundred dollars a year back to the families. and most are eating it up! \nbecause healthcare is public, doctors and their union have 0 incentive of allowing more professionals into the system, because they all share the same pie. there are families who do not have a family doctor and are forced to use clinics, even with newborn babies. my family doctor works a regular job, doesn't answer the phone after 3:30 (even though they are open until 4), has 2-half days (one is a golf day btw) and overall couldn't give a F about patients. on that high salary in any other industry, you'd be on call 24/7. \nand then there's housing, jobs, the education system is a mess - more and more people are worried about what these kids are learning and there is 0 incentive from any of the politicians to address the issue.\nand, of course, there is forced immigration. when we came it used to be a merit system, you had to bring in money to prove you won't be a burden to welfare for at least a year. it's definitely not the case now. \npeople look at PP as some kind of saviour, but he's not going to fix anything. usually conservatives are good for corporations, whilst liberals balance their policies with the needs of the common folk. how far they've fallen.

C'mon David, you can't compare this encampment to freedom convoy thugs who honked all night in Ottawa, blocked roads, businesses closed down and couldn't operate, they blocked borders. US/Canada both suffered due to the blockade at Ambassador Bridge. As a long haul Trucker, I couldn't work and I was forced to stay home because of those Convoy thugs. Trudeau did the right thing about Convoy thugs. Yes, I agree, these low-class immigrants and international students shouldn't have been brought here in the first place. Back in 1998 I was laid off and waiting for U.I/E.I to kick in and send a cheque and was 2 months behind on rent, they had me in L/T Tribunal Court at St Clair/Yonge before my 1st cheque was mailed, I wasn't kicked out but had to agree to pay my full rent on the 1st from that point and $200 each month on the 15th til I caught up on arrears (took 1 year) if I had been late once on either date they could have re opened the L/T Tribunal case and kicked me out. If I couldn't have paid I would have moved out, that's the difference between those born before 1990 and after, morals and having a conscience, lacking in most Millennials and Z's because X mothers didn't want to discipline their 90s babies or make them responsible adults.

I came to Canada in 2019 to study Master's at a highly-ranked Canadian University. I thought I'll have good education, and if I get a good job in my industry in Canada, I'll be easily able to apply for PR. Well, I completed my degree, I got a job, gained experience, but now the Express Entry system is so messed up that I cannot score that high!\n\nYes, I blame those shady colleges who offered admission to fake students, I blame those students who did not come to study but to apply for asylum. Because of them, everything is messed up. I agree that not all international students are entitled to get PR. But, those who are skilled should get a fair chance, like before. Not everyone comes here to make coffee at Tims.\n\nI saw my friend who could barely talk in English getting PR before me through the TR to PR pathway in 2021. I couldn't apply because he finished his degree earlier cz his was a College Diploma of 1 year and mine was a Master's degree.\n\nIT IS FRUSTRATING.

I’m Indian and I will be damned if I say I agree with you. This shouldn’t be allowed. Follow the rules. This mob culture has to stop. I work my ass off and I can’t get by. My industry went on a strike for a year and I couldn’t get a survival job. These students can move from one province to another any time they want. How is this possible. Isn’t there any law to prevent them moving from the place they came to “study” in the first place and move to another location just for PR? I waited two years to get my police verification done from all the countries I worked before my immigration application got approved. These days it’s like the immigration ministry is handing over permanent residency like candies. More over if I go to a shop ask for help I get answers in a language I don’t speak or follow. Why are we allowing this? Why can’t these guys speak English or French? Why am forced to learn Punjabi? If these guys want to create a ghetto for themselves why are they doing it here? Who’s allowing all this? What’s happening to those English language tests? I don’t care if they fulfill any of those departments that require eligible workers. Why do we have to import truck drivers and factory workers? I’m fed up with this and I wonder why Canadians aren’t worried about their country and culture and react like they do. Oh no, we can’t do that. We will be arrested and our bank accounts will be closed and won’t have money to eat. Thanks Justin.

I completely agree w this man. Ive worked my ass off for 30 yrs already & even w my private health insurance thru my FT job Its still gonna cost me between 12& 15 grand to get my teeth fixed. Its life threatening & caused by a bone disease that I have no control over but the Gov't wont help pay a damn cent. (Btw I drive 2hrs a day & sometimes sleep in my car overnight & shower at work cuz I cant afford the cost of gas to drive home every day.) \n@ 45 Ive been forced 2 deplete my retirement savings & move in w my Godparents cuz I can't afford rent anymore.\nI drive an 06 Honda Odyssey which is hangin by a thread & Im grateful AF for it.\nBoth my parents served in the military. A combined 30 yrs in the infantry. I did 7 yrs in Army Cadets & was going 2 join the army after high school but I was diagnosed w a bone disease & couldn't pass the health & fitness screening.\nMy point is that Im a hard working, tax paying, polite & damn good citizen. I take care of my neighbours. The quality of life here was just that much different and they had acclimatised to it, so I can’t imagine where you’re thinking that you can go in the world where the quality of life for a Muslim family who has grown up in Canada will be better.\nOnly one of your four criteria will be satisfied. I couldn't agree with you more. Asking Canadian experience is a scam to deter immigrants obtaining jobs and maintain status quo where immigrants get lower wage and blue color jobs. Therefore I would research to make sure to get in to the skill trades such as IT, Healthcare, Finance such as selling real estate etc,. MBA is a general qualification and chances of entering in to higer paying jobs with an MBA is limited, where as if you're already in a managerial occupation doing MBA will help to climb the ladder. Therefore chosing what to study is crucial initially. Cheers

As an atheist I wish you all the best, it's true the political games destroying the West from within. Though I'm on the side of LGBT and i believe that they should have rights like everyone else, at the same time I understand that some extreme ideologies can go and push so far and I agree that let kids be kids. My only concern is that Islamic countries do not have any rights for LGBT people at all, in fact, they are being prosecuted based on religion since religion is basically the law. Couldn't agree more. I'm a Christian living in the Bible-belt and earlier this year we were at our local farmer's market and there was a drag-queen story hour. It's not hateful to disagree with others but so much is being thrown into our children's faces and heart. I couldn't agree with you more on wanting to shield your children from the propaganda and live in a more Muslim-friendly area!!
