I remember in the 2010s hearing about immigrants/refugees not assimilating in Europe and constantly just thought "well why don't they just do immigration with strong assimilation like we do here in Canada?", and now we had 4 years of sloppy immigration give or take, unfortunate. I agree many things, but not agreeing to “ not paying tax”, “not working hard” & “just cross the border illegally”, most new Brampton residents pay high taxes as most work at jobs and payroll money comes after tax. Maybe minor fraction like (0.01%) might be working in cash not paying tax. It’s just their frustration speaking. Almost all Indian immigrants are not refugee that they come free to Canada and live in hotels for free. Indian immigrants are economic immigrants, who came here legally with investing big money and working in country and giving back. As a Brampton raised kid, I lived there from 97' till about 2023, I'm caribbean and we have a large indian/muslim/hindu population too on our island. (Trinidad) and the issue with Brampton is: Indian people will gladly intergrade, but Canadian borns won't welcome it. Walk with me- I'll use food for an example. Every other grocery store is middle eastern/asian/african in Brampton and its becomes harder finding more western style food. I love international food, I cook it often but if you're used to burgers and pizza and only know how to make spaghetti it feels like a 'take over' These people want what they want and even though all these places are free for you to also enjoy they don't like it cause it's too 'foreign' to them. It doesn't mean there isnt still a No Frills or a Walmart or Metro, but because the african and halal store are closer and more frequent it seems like more of a convenience to others and not to you. When people say we're multi-cultural, they mean 'yeah he's brown or black but he keeps it to himself' They aren't going to go to that Sikh temple giving free food, and only go to the church at the beginning even though they're welcome to both. It's the same for Diwali and other things, white people dont care to be interested in those things, and just wonder why they get to have it at all. I do agree with that indian lady at the beginning though, with lax immigration you come in feeling like you don't need to do anything to assimilate. They're doing themselves a disservice by only helping themselves. I hate stereotypes being perpetuated onto people but like that Pakistani guy said too, you live in a bubble and you don't pay attention to that. You can go days without speaking english to someone. You can't immigrate somewhere and shut out everyone already there. I get you may not feel welcome by the white people like the ones in the beginning and so you dont mess with them, and its easy not to. But there needs to be openness with helping everyone benefit from multi-culturalism and not just some of us. There are issues with immigrants not wanting to go outside their bubble and for canadians not to want to either, It'll be hard to (with the current issues we're facing as a country) to actually blend together more.

I was not raised to be racist but at 67 and my family has been in Canada since 1536 , I can now say that I am racist. I do not agree with melding pot beliefs. the people being brought in to my country are NOT TRYING TO MERGE OR ADAPT “OUR” way of life. Totally agreed. If you want to maintain your culture then do not migrate. But whose fault is this? Canada and some other western countries give too much freedom to immigrants to do whatever they want. So people started keep practicing their own culture instead of adopting the Canadian culture. I agree with the these people's comments regarding the immigration issues. I've been Canadian for over 50 years and this is the worst I've seen or experienced here in this country. Why are we as major tax payers are forced to finance the lives of these people who are only here to take from us, not give back in any way for us who supported them coming in to feel it's been a good decision made by our government, from our pockets. I watch your channel and agree with most of your videos, but this one gives a false idea to viewers. Losing millions of dollars isn’t because countries reject visas unfairly—it's because applicants often fail to submit legitimate travel intentions, provide dodgy documents, lack sufficient funds, or have a bad travel history. If you fulfill all the required documents and meet the criteria, I don't think there will be any visa rejections. Also, the Henley Passport Index is based on IATA data and is updated quarterly. It ranks passports by visa-free access, not by a country’s economic size—so being the 5th largest economy doesn’t automatically mean better rankings.

Palki , you should also consider fake documents that’s submitted for obtaining visas. Over stays , age factors leading to medical expenses , bank balances for surviving those days in a foreign land. Come out with more facts and give a split what sort of visas are getting rejected… not a blanket statement. I like your channel and I follow your articles but this one i don’t agree 100%.

AGREE \nVisa is permission and not a legal right and permission comes with certain conditions and one giving permission has right to check the compliance . \n\nBUT SLSO ASK \n why Canada is letting these fake College and Universities dupe students and their parents in India through their agents . \nCanada Australia England and US all English speaking countries and their unethical education system enticed looted and trapped not so intelligent students and their naive parents with a promise of education and PR . I agree it should end however let me explain my situation I'm white American I got into a relationship with a Mexican woman a few years ago, her parents decided to cross illegally 26 years ago and hire people to smuggle her and her siblings in again 26 years ago she's now 31 we got married and have a son together. I own my own property in the boonies up north in my state I'm curious as to what is going to happen to her? Because I will give one warning before me and my other family who live with me will open up the tree line at any and all trespassers I will not let the government take my wife period. i'm happy there are people here who agree, but having your voice heard only as a youtube comment is not the answer. do you know how countries in europe managed to get ahead in healthcare? patients went to the press with recorded videos about their experience. and yes, initially the journalists dismissed this as non news, but it only needed one to go with it. and it made waves. now a 2hr wait in the ER in europe is met by the tv crew. \ncanadians refuse to do it. when i came to canada 25 years ago a 2hr wait was normal. now it's 9hrs and still no discontent voices. no politician is running on healthcare, but on cutting taxes and on giving back a few hundred dollars a year back to the families. and most are eating it up! \nbecause healthcare is public, doctors and their union have 0 incentive of allowing more professionals into the system, because they all share the same pie. there are families who do not have a family doctor and are forced to use clinics, even with newborn babies. my family doctor works a regular job, doesn't answer the phone after 3:30 (even though they are open until 4), has 2-half days (one is a golf day btw) and overall couldn't give a F about patients. on that high salary in any other industry, you'd be on call 24/7. \nand then there's housing, jobs, the education system is a mess - more and more people are worried about what these kids are learning and there is 0 incentive from any of the politicians to address the issue.\nand, of course, there is forced immigration. when we came it used to be a merit system, you had to bring in money to prove you won't be a burden to welfare for at least a year. it's definitely not the case now. \npeople look at PP as some kind of saviour, but he's not going to fix anything. usually conservatives are good for corporations, whilst liberals balance their policies with the needs of the common folk. how far they've fallen.
