As a teen Pakistani Canadian who was born in Canada I totally agree, to move countries is to adapt to new ways of living, new values and respecting lands on which they inhabit. Indians mostly come here and start living the way they used to effectively turning Canada into new India… all I’m saying is I don’t mind respectful people but if you come here acting like it’s your motherland you need to learn to respect the culture and land here.

Hahaha I was born and raised in Brampton from birth in 1996-2020, and I still live in the general area (the GTA). VERY interested to see this video. Bramladesh sure has changed a lot in the last 30 years.

I live in Brampton born and raised. Indians are generally nice people but this new generation of immigrants that came around covid time were different. Working at places like Walmart now feels like a job not meant for us Canadians. Entire work place blasting Punjabi music and speaking in another language. I’m grew up in Brampton, born here to immigrant parents who came in the 90s. The new generation of immigrants have really created a bad image for Indians here, I will encounter all kinds of racism online or in real life, and the hatred is real. I wish it wasn’t so, but Brampton and for that matter the GTA is not equipped to handle these many people. Then you get the sheer number of illegal rooming houses, fraud, general disrespect for the norms and traditions of Canada from the newer generations of immigrants it just really paints a bad picture of Indian people. The east Indian problem has gotten extremely bad where I am in Canada they keep buying businesses and then firing all the white people but if you call it out, you're racist like, I'm getting turned down when I hand out resumes, because I'm white and I was born in Canada its bad they're taking all the student jobs and then buying the businesses where students are working and then firing the students i'm no longer in school, so it's even harder to find a job. It's gotten to the point where if you want a job you need to work for yourself. They're even taking jobs in the trades so now people are having to work for themselves under-the-table and launder their money the average median income in Canada is anywhere from $45000 to $50000 a year the average house costs $673,335 the average household only makes $80000 a year i used to dream about having my own home and starting a family now I just hope I can find an apartment for less than $2000 a month that isn't owned by a slum Lord living in Toronto that's bought the property without ever even being to Smiths Falls a day in their life.

Immigration is obviously a mess, but a big problem like in the U.S is that the immigrants are the only one who do the dirty work or hard jobs that require actual physical work. The white folk or the citizens born and raised do not want to touch these kind of jobs. But overall canada especially the toronto and surrounding areas has taken a turn for the worse in the past 10-15 years. Brampton born and bread here 🙋‍♂️. During my childhood and teenage years, Brampton was known to be one of the most ethnically diverse places in the world. It wasn’t until my university years I noticed an influx of people of a particular demographic in my city. Now, the majority of Bramptonians who lived in the city 10+ years ago have essentially been flushed out of our own city. I’m not opposed to immigration at all but what this group have done to the fabric and culture of Brampton is so sad. It’s moved from a city of diversity to one of homogeneity and it’s absolutely disheartening.

love watching your videos, I am Canadian and live in the suburbs of Toronto. I was born in 1962. My first Indian experience came in a small high school 1976-1980 the school had a small Punjabi student population, the students for the most part were not hassled nor did they hassel back. My next and biggest Indian experience was a job from 1984-1991 I worked for an Indian family and got to see a portion of Toronto's Indian population. Culturally there were big differences however I enjoyed my experience working with them. My point being you say in your video 'sudden indian.' this is 2026 and I have been experiencing as have Canadians, the Punjabi culture for over 46 years so this is not a sudden or new occurance. And lastly as far as cultures from other countries go, having Hindu's or even Sihk's as neighbors is far better than other ethnic possibilities, so I do not have any issue with Punjabi Canadians! As a non Indian Canadian born and raised I’m disgusted where my country has gone. Our population has doubled since 1980, not by birth rate, but because of the amount of Indians that have immigrated here. Unfortunately, they have no desire to assimilate, they bring their own culture and they stay in their own communities. The government offers tax breaks for businesses, hiring foreign workers over people born in Canada, leaving the youth without any part-time work. On top of that some of my favourite restaurants growing up, I haven’t eaten at in years because it’s been taken over by Indians, the quality of food goes down, you end up getting food poisoning and if you aren’t in their community, you get worse service and get charged more than what an Indian would pay at the same restaurant. They don’t understand cleanliness or sanitation, they leave their garbage and waste on the street and dump it in random locations, and quite frankly have no respect for anyone who lives here or the country that has taken them in. I feel like a minority of my own country and I truly don’t understand what being Canadian means anymore because I’m pretty sure being Canadian is a thing of the past. Most of my friends have moved further north, to Vancouver island or moved out to the prairies to get away from them and higher prices as everything gets more expensive, thanks to our government, caring more about immigrants than citizens. When a family gets accepted to come here they bring their parents their aunts and uncles their brothers and sisters on temporary visas, they also collect social assistance as soon as they arrive and when their visas expire, they have no desire to go back, which has resulted in thousands of illegals remaining here. I mean I get it. Why would you go back when you’re getting treated better here and are given food, housing and an allowance every month but it’s gotten to a point where India outnumbers Canadians. I want them all sent back.

As someone who's born and raised in Brampton I don't really see any issues when it comes to the large Indian demographic in the city. Majority of the people in this city are just middle class families trying to get by and provide their kids and families a bright future. Without the indian immigrants coming to this city what would it even be? You have families living in million dollar+ houses, working, owning business, giving good futures and opportunities for their children but y'all mad cause they are Indians who are doing this. If they were white people instead would be calling Brampton a success story then? If 75 percent of the population is south asian, OF COURSE you will see south asian workers, south asian restaurants, grocery stores (JUST LIKE ANY OTHER COMMUNITY). You only see this issue online because the people who actually live in these areas have absolutely no issue with the city. They're mad they can't progress in their own lives and use cities like Brampton as a scapegoat for their own problems. It just doesn't make sense to me how so many people have an issue with Brampton when they don't even know what it is like.

As a Canadian, one that lives in GTA at that. Thank you for this video! We have two first languages (French & English)..yet speaking Punjabi is now an asset. Tim Hortons & McDonald’s used to be for our youth…now they can’t get jobs. The one thing we all loved growing up is the fact that our country was so diverse/multicultural. I live in Brampton. And all I can say is thanks for visiting and spreading the word on this problem. I was born in Brampton, and my mother tells me about how much it's changed. Many of my friends and family friends have moved to other neighborhoods POST mosques being put up near their homes. And let's not talk about employment and foreign "students". I was lucky to get a job last summer at a family owned small business Ice Cream store right after high school. We even got a review saying we weren't diverse enough despite us being a group of White, East Asian and Black employees lol. And many people say if your not Indian and your getting your drivers test, you go out of Brampton to do the test because you'll likely get discriminated by who is running the test. It's absolutely absurd. It sounds like tin foil hat sh*t, but if you live here like me everything comes full circle. But ofc there are good ones, but they are typically the westernized ones, who have assimilated, they play or watch hockey and have developed a Canadian accent. But the majority haven't assimilated, they are likely first generation, and they do things like stuff 15+ people in one suburban home. And just small things like staring at you in public (idk why their community stares you down), they spit on sidewalks, and they use some crazy a$$ spices when they cook. The smell carries over for blocks and you know your in deep Brampton territory when your driving and that smell of spicy curry hits you and you gotta roll up them windows lol. It's a nasty smell. This mass migration is a huge issue and needs awareness.

Has nothing to do with your skin or culture its not that deep and your not that special for most people to think about at all. Its the insidiousness of the actions and loopholes that are used by immigrants of all races or cultures that allow themselves to thrive. While the people born here of many colors get nothing but higher taxes to pay for the services that get totally abused. Birthright citizenship for people born here needs to end if the parents are not legit citizens. Housing capacity laws need to be created with fire code enforcement so you cant have more people living in a house than rooms available. All religious facilities even the white ones... need to be taxed. No more preferential treatment for visas because your related to someone who lives here already. Everyone across the board should have to immigrate the same way with no special treatment. Cultural celebrations and traditions. Respect everyone. Unless you have a permit keep that stuff in your own home or place of worship. EX... Indian wedding on my street = 3 1200w speakers playing Cow slaughter house noises until they leave.
