It's not race that makes countries great or bad. Since there is just one human race. Its the culture that makes places great. Culture or shared ideas among the populace. Specially ideas of being open minded, living and letting live, freedom, being tolerant etc. These are the best ideas or culture that if held long enough by the majority of the people will turn that place into a great civilization indeed. Every great civilization of history was built through this culture in history. persian empire, macedonian empire, roman empire, british empire and now the united states etc... were/are all very diverse and very tolerant of indians and their ideas... cultural exchange of ideas through indians and receiving diverse viewpoints which helped them become great. However great empires, great places and civilizations never last. They fall down. They fall down once the culture changes. which is natural since culture is not static but dynamic, since it exists only in the minds of people, it can change in the same generation, or in the next - all it takes is replacing existing ideas with other ideas in the minds of people large enough. This is what we are seeing happening in canada and India... a shift of culture. The same culture of responsible for turning India into a terrible country is being adopted by canadians. Meanwhile for the past few decades.. india on the other hand has been adopting the better culture and growing slowly and steadily with many mistakes and hurdles along the way towards a brighter future... slowly because its huge... steadily because it knows where to go.... mistakes and hurdles because its an open democracy... If this cultural shift keeps continuing this way... There will come a time where canada would look more like afghanistan and India will look like the us or scandinavia... However i hope thats not the case. and its just a phase that does not lead to some significant revolution in terms of peoples thinking.

I'm all for referenda, the trouble is when government picks the issue, they are usually doing so for political reasons, not legislative ones. Let me use this opportunity to bring awareness to the oppression of Tibetans. No, I am not talking about the Tibetans in China. I am talking about Tibetans in occupied South Tibet, which was annexed by India in 1951 and made a state by India in 1987 to become the so-called Arunachal Pradesh. South Tibet includes Tawang, birthplace of the Sixth Dalai Lama and home to a four-hundred-year-old Tibetan Monastery. The Tibetans in occupied South Tibet are fast becoming strangers in their own native homeland because the Indian government is settling Indians in the region to change the demographic structure of the area and trashing the place just like the Indians did in India or in Canada. The Indians like to mock them, calling them Chinese as a form of insult (sometimes using slurs such as the C* word or the M* word). Rape by Indians in occupied South Tibet is a major source of anger among the locals toward the thuggish Indian occupiers. Another thing is that India doesn't trust the locals and likes to accuse them of being Chinese spies if they don't display enough loyalty to the Indian occupier. This area is tightly controlled by India, with limited access to the outside world. In 2014, a Tibetan Chinese called Nido Tania went to Delhi and was beaten to death because he looked 'Chinese'. His case was hardly an isolated one. Northeasterners in India have for years endured racial hatred by the Indian people. They have held demonstrations in New Delhi, but not much has changed. On December 9, 2025, a Chinese-looking youth from the north-east Indian state was murdered by racist Indian thugs. The thugs mocked him with racist taunts like "CHINKI, MOMO, CHINESE," etc., and then the youth was mercilessly beaten to death. This is not the first nor will it be the last case of racism against the north eastern people living under New Delhi's oppression. No killer or rapist of the northeastern people has ever been brought to justice. The Indian political leadership does nothing more than produce hollow words of sympathy: "I AM VARY VARY SAARY!" There was not even a single word of support or remorse from the high priest of the Bar-Rat hindu empire: Modi. The greatest irony and shameless hypocrisy of India and Indians is that the murdered youth's father is serving in the Indian Border Security Force and deployed along the border with China. He is fighting against China for a country that is ready to kill him and his family for looking Chinese. Some years back, yet another rape case by Indian soldiers occurred in Bomdila, South Tibet. The local police detained the two suspects, and the Indian military, fearing that the two suspects would be lynched, stormed the police station, vandalized it, and rescued the two suspects. This leads to massive protests by the local people. Eventually, the unrest caught the attention of New Delhi, and India flew in the defense minister to Bomdila to make a show of force to suppress the protests. Today, South Tibet is restless, and India knows it. This is the reason a law called the AFSPA (Armed Forces Special Power Act) is imposed on South Tibet. AFSPA gives the state the power to detain or kill anyone with impunity. No due process is needed. AFSPA is imposed on areas India deems restless, such as South Tibet and Kashmir. It is a law meant to suppress dissent and instill fear among the populace. The Tibetans in occupied South Tibet are voiceless people because they are not the right kind of Tibetans, so their plight is ignored by the Western world. I have yet to hear from the Western media any concern for the human rights abuses of the Tibetans in occupied South Tibet by India. P.S. I am using the word Tibetan as an umbrella term to include the various Sino-Tibetan Burmese people (Monpa, Abotani (called Lhotba on the Chinese side),..etc. The Sixth Dalai Lama was a Monpa) in South Tibet. The Sixth Dalai Lama is known for his many love poems and romantic escapades outside the Potola Palace. Sadly, his hometown, Tawang, is now under India's occupation since 1951. The Tawang Monastery is the last major frontier monastery before the area merged into the tribal region. It historically enjoyed a close relation with the Beijing central government. No damage on their little cockroaches, no charges, but the black cop 2 hours later cold because he wanted my nephew's license plate number. He was probably trying to catch him driving dirty, but never called back. So he didn't find anything. These people have threatened to shoot me. They have threatened big consequences. And when they found out that I was blind, that's when they ramped up the harassment, the cops did nothing about the threats towards me when they told the cops that we I threatened to kill them. They are the ones that threaten to chop my nephew and his dog up. The cops never did anything about their threats. They told me to stay in my unit for safety or move for my safety. The condo corporation refuses to do anything as well. So if anyone nose a good civil rights lawyer, please reply to me. Because I fear for my life, this is no joke and because I have to move. With disabilities, they believe that we are a curse and that we are a waste of society.

Americans have been in shock over the last few weeks after all the Somalian corruption that has been exposed in Minnesota, Brampton is Canada's version of the Minnesota case except it's so much worse, the corruption in Brandon is in its own league and i highly suggest anyone who's interested to do some of your own research, most of this stuff is hidden in plain sight yet the government doesn't react or do a single thing about it, and in some cases they are literally part of the corruption. This is what gets me, I’m an immigrant. I came from a place where we speak a broken dialect of English. As part of my processing, I had to demonstrate my ability to speak the queen’s english. To work, the expectation is you’re able to communicate effectively with whoever you’re interfacing. These folks come here, make zero attempt to improve or learn English or French - the national languages. They go home after the day is done, revert to their native tongue. How would you ever perfect something like a language without some degree practice and immersion? And they do this with their generations. The 1st and sometimes 2nd generation kids will speak their native tongue first, before learning English or French. It’s like the language they should speak to effectively work and live in Canada is an accessory. The govt at all levels encourage this by having driving tests and forms in other languages. And don’t get me started on the pockets - Brampton for example. The politicians kowtow to the voters and give in to them having huge temples, and nonstandard shopping complexes. It’s a running joke how many Indians will be living in the same house, renting from other Indians collecting money under the table in completely unsanctioned and illegal rental scenarios. Companies set up by Indians, to service Indians. So they don’t even care to present as Canadian business with English / French. I’m in the midst of charting my family’s exit from Canada. It’s become something entirely unrecognizable. Where those who know how to game the system get ahead, those of us who play the rules - stay behind. I’ve worked my way up to being upper middle class. I’m about done paying for Indian “students” who later claim to be refugees. Who are now claiming to be in gay relationships, to support their refugee cases. It’s all a joke.

My friend works for Commercial Vehicle Safety Enforcement and says they are the biggest offenders on the road by far!! The world is changing my friend old people from sedwell countries. Other countries that the west destroyed and robbed the reverse is now happening. Mortgage fraud has also increased DRASTICALLY since the influx of new immigrants coming to Canada within the last 10 years. And who is doing the fraud? 95% of the fraud cases are new immigrants from India. There are many good people that come from india, but there are FAR more than don't assimilate, have no interest in ever assimilating, and they abuse our social systems, stealing from every Canadian as well as cause our quality of life to drastically drop. Our healthcare systems are beyond overloaded and bursting at the seams, our housing prices have skyrocketed, our house and auto insurance rates have also gone through the roof. And speaking of going through the roof, numerous houses were lit on fire late last year from new immigrants irresponsibly lighting off MASSIVE amounts of fireworks during Diwali, then you have the crowds of Indian families going to our previously pristine beaches and digging pits, which they then proceeded to use as their bathroom. People were actually selling "Beach $hitter" t-shirts because the problem was getting so common. Immigration is ok, but the amount of people the Canadian government has allowed into Canada, ALL from totally different cultural origins, in such a short amount of time was never, and will never be sustainable. In my opinion, Canada needs to full stop close its borders to anyone immigrating for at minimum 5-10 years, to allow the countries infostructure time to catch up with the masses of people who have already come into the country. But that will never happen with the liberals at the helm, they would literally get rid of the whole concept of a "border" if they could. Elbows up ya dorks!

Major reason for so much immigration of Indians is because here in india to get a well paying job and a well settled life you need to be educated and skilled. Whereas in countrys such as canada it is more easy to have a good living with less efforts and less education. Therefore they prefer moving out of country than working hard in there own country. And in the case of Brampton they saw an opportunity and demand for businesses and workforce so they grabbed there opportunity. Because at that time there was not much going on in Brampton when indians started immigrating . So you can say indians are the reason Brampton has grown gradually. But i do think now it is too crowded and people haven't stopped coming. Now there are no requirements as such. So that is why more useless indians are moving in canada nowadays.

As much as I hate seeing how bad it’s become, I also love the fact you’re shedding light on it. As a Canadian myself it’s pretty weird that almost anywhere I go in my province, (Man) it’s like predominantly east Indian other than like reserves which is a rough subject in itself some/most cases.

The older immigrants that helped build their communities alongside the Canadian people, were willing to assimilate, to learn, to be APART of the community, this is NO LONGER THE CASE, and hasn't been the last 8 years. Back in the day our family would stop and give lifts to pedestrians who were elderly, carrying heavy items, or it was too cold, hot, whatever it was, my parents learned this when they immigrated to Canada and assimilated within their communities, and worked hard to be able to communicate the common initiative of prosperity. If you're able to come to a new country, be able to live there without ever learning the heritage of the land you inhabit, it's a shame.
