I live in brampton, and it is actually wild. Every single business has been bought and turned indian. Go to Walmart, im.the only white guy. I have nothing against indian. I would feel the same if it was any race , including white people. There should be diversity it should just be equal. They let way to many people into canada way to easy

I actually worked at Tim Hortons(I'm a white guy), and there were literally so many Indians that they'd order each other around in Hindi. They'd only speak English to me and the customers. I had a shift coordinator in fact who would reflexively give me orders in Hindi, and would get a little ticked off and repeat it in Hindi, and then when it clicked that I'm the only non-Hindi speaker there, he'd give 1 word orders like "Garbage" or "Sinks". The owner of the Tim Hortons also said that if I was a little slow or needed extra training, they wouldn't fire me because they don't like to keep rotating workers around, and instead would rather just retrain them. I was a tad bit slow(only because I was precise and not violating health and safety standards), and they fired me in like 10 seconds. Like my second monthly review, I was fired. I have a feeling it largely had to do with the fact that I was not Indian and didn't speak Hindi, so therefore the shift coordinators had less tolerance for me.

Whats not fair is that they came here for a better life and now our quality of life has suffered. Every person will tell you how things have changed negatively because of the Indians, Punjabi's and Pakistanis. None of them aligns with Canadian values. I feel its very rude and nerve-racking of them to come here and then try to change our culture to look like what they just came from. They are a dirty people. They have no rules when it comes to cleanliness in their food factories. They literally use their filthy feet to help in the preparation of food that is shipped to Western countries. Its a common agreement that we dont want them here. Even natural-born Indians dont want them here. They know how disgusting their hygiene practises are. I went to an indian resteraunt with a friend of mine and i could see into the kitchen and the guy who was cooking was barefooted and as he came to deliver the food he slid into a pair of slippers. I asked him if he was cooking in bare feet and he lied saying OHHH no maam and then he lifted his foot. I looked at my friend and said this is grose and im going to McDonalds. And everyone in Mcdonalds was Indian too. FUCC that. Canada doesnt even look Canadian anymore. We honestly look Asian and its the Liberals who are doing it. Get rid of White Canadians. I've had both good and bad experiences with Indians, I worked with one guy at the local supermarket, he literally had the entire department hating on him, he was disrespectful, constantly tried to avoid doing his job, the rest of my department had to rally together to tell management to get rid of him, on the other hand, I've also worked with Indians that were the complete opposite, very respectful, kind and hard working. One guy lived in one city, went to school (College/University) in another and worked in my small city, it blew my mind at how busy his life was. They're not all bad but it does feel a little odd to see so many in BC

What the 'polish' guy is saying and the 'redneck' guy is saying is pure bias!! If a 3000 sq ft home has 3 generations living then that would easily be anywhere from 5-12 people depending on the number of children or sibling the earning member(s) have. The only problem is when these homes are converted to rooming units. Otherwise it is perfectly legal for extended families to live under one roof as first immigrants to gain foothold and then move on!! The fore fathers of the current white population did this as well !! Also, these immigrants and students are NOT housed in hotels and such, it is the refugees from Syria, Palestine and Ukraine (and other war torn countries) that Liberals brought in that are housed in hotels. So this is misinformation. What I do notice is that these losers are jealous of the hard work that the indian immigrants are capable of doing and feel intimidated. If this is any comfort, many indians are actually choosing to go back to India as opportunities are better and more and they have seen what Canada has to offer. There needs to be responsible reporting happening not just interview any guy on the streets who has 0 knowledge of the current political scenario.

Personally as an Indian, I really feel bad about it. Unfortunately, we DO go to other countries for a chance at better life and dignity, but a lot us Indians then start to feel privileged and entitled and do not adapt to the culture of the country they are in, and force their own cultures and individual beliefs. This sucks, especially as a young guy who dreams of living in other countries, while respecting their cultures and planning to adapt to them. Even in India too, we don't really pay much taxes since we know its gonna go into corruption anyway, so the Immigrant residents in Brampton may have carried forward that practice as their habit. This gets a lot of us good folks, generalized for no reason too, Although, I do understand the anti-Indian sentiments foreigners have towards us, but again.. not every Indian are like that, since it has also been pointed out by few others. As an indian, I feel sad to see that this is Canada, nobody would want anyone's country to change like this. pls deport most of them, they can't even speak English. Only allow highly educated, skilled people; race doesn't matter, even that nurse guy should be deported. It’s very interesting because Indians seem to be more thick skinned than Canadians in general, so even white ppl’s reservations or microaggressions don’t register to them and they just keep expanding on positivity. I’ve met many Indian people in Canada and it almost seems like they’re so positive and community minded that they think it’s small minded to be stingy about sharing space, which can clash with the general reserved nature of Canadians but also make you feel embarrassed in a way about being judgmental. You even see it in this video with the white guy asking judgey questions to Indians but he gets showered with food and hospitality from the Indians. No matter how you fight it you kind of get overpowered by their positivity…

As a Brampton raised kid, I lived there from 97' till about 2023, I'm caribbean and we have a large indian/muslim/hindu population too on our island. (Trinidad) and the issue with Brampton is: Indian people will gladly intergrade, but Canadian borns won't welcome it. Walk with me- I'll use food for an example. Every other grocery store is middle eastern/asian/african in Brampton and its becomes harder finding more western style food. I love international food, I cook it often but if you're used to burgers and pizza and only know how to make spaghetti it feels like a 'take over' These people want what they want and even though all these places are free for you to also enjoy they don't like it cause it's too 'foreign' to them. It doesn't mean there isnt still a No Frills or a Walmart or Metro, but because the african and halal store are closer and more frequent it seems like more of a convenience to others and not to you. When people say we're multi-cultural, they mean 'yeah he's brown or black but he keeps it to himself' They aren't going to go to that Sikh temple giving free food, and only go to the church at the beginning even though they're welcome to both. It's the same for Diwali and other things, white people dont care to be interested in those things, and just wonder why they get to have it at all. I do agree with that indian lady at the beginning though, with lax immigration you come in feeling like you don't need to do anything to assimilate. They're doing themselves a disservice by only helping themselves. I hate stereotypes being perpetuated onto people but like that Pakistani guy said too, you live in a bubble and you don't pay attention to that. You can go days without speaking english to someone. You can't immigrate somewhere and shut out everyone already there. I get you may not feel welcome by the white people like the ones in the beginning and so you dont mess with them, and its easy not to. But there needs to be openness with helping everyone benefit from multi-culturalism and not just some of us. There are issues with immigrants not wanting to go outside their bubble and for canadians not to want to either, It'll be hard to (with the current issues we're facing as a country) to actually blend together more.

Not everyone is like that in my experience, I'm not from brampton but I'm sikh and I have sikh friends who are white and indigenous as well. One thing people don't realise is a lot of Canadians are actually really racist. You clearly saw that from the interview of the guy and his wife who was an RN, they passed the exam fair and square but I feel like his lack of understanding of the English language didn't get his point across right. The point he missed was the quality of life is higher in Canada, In India it's way easier, the cost of living is way cheaper, there's tons of cheap labour to hire maids for all your house work for example which is common in their culture, but as you've probably seen online, India isn't the cleanest or friendliest place to be, and if he was a nurse in India he would probably be broke without a good job, and having the opportunity to find good high paying jobs in something that Canadians also do when they travel to the US if a position in their field isn't available in whatever local city they grew up in. The main issue stems from international students from like after covid, regardless of country, India is in the spotlight because there's just more indians compared to other countries international students but its all the same stuff, you have kids from all over the world that might not have learned the same cultural practices, fresh 16-18 year olds living alone for the first time that have to do all their own chores and don't even know how to take care of themselves in some cases or do laundry or anything like that and it doesn't mean they were illegal immigrants or anything, just that they never put in the effort to learn because they were too entitled, its the same with entitled kids that go to Korea or Japan from north America as well that don't learn their culture and customs and misbehave because they are too entitled, and once you understand that you can see the bigger picture more clearly instead of just defaulting to racism. Also I'm not saying they can't be frustrated, its frustrating for everyone, even for me but racism isn't the answer.

Im from Tamilnadu and while abroad i worked in shell for a shutdown i saw north indians workers spitting pan just before the englishmen and I, as an engineer from the same nationality as these backward people have to feel 2nd hand embarrassment for what these people do.\nMany in kerala and Tamilnadu behave well and have good manners. I went to high school in Brampton in the early 80's and there were no people from India anywhere... it was very much a white anglo town, and then I moved to Montreal for 25 years to work as a fashion designer. (I remember the shock of flying into Toronto on business and walking outside to get a taxi... there was an endless line of Indian guys wearing Turbans, waiting by their taxis. It was a very strange feeling, as I was not sure if I was in Canada or India.) About 10 years ago, I moved back to Ontario to live in Guelph and had heard the joke about Brampton becoming 'Bramladesh' by people at the dog park, and in the past 5 years, (since they built the massive temple in Guelph) the place has turned into a mini India, as EVERY house put up for sale, is bought by a family from India, with 4 or 5 cars in a 2 car driveway, (strangely, as soon as they move into the house, they all rip out the asphalt driveway and replace it with white concrete??) they seem to be a tribal people and every house is filled to capacity, as the husband and wife are with their kids, the brother and his wife and their parents, all living together. (They are friendly people and they don't cause any trouble... my only issue is the intense stench of spices from their house that fill the air 24/7 to the point that you cannot sit in the back yard or open a window, without being punched in the face from the powerful odour of spices!)

Immigrants going to the western countries. What do they do next…\nMake settlements… Make big ethnic colonies… make money… send back to their countries.. sees lot of issues like drug addicts, mafias… tries to take the things in their control… become the majority…. Change the culture… Form the government and take full control of the western land from the westerners and make them feel like immigrants.\n\nWait!! Have we seen these sort of things with much more intensity and utter cruelty in the past!!!! Hmmmm!!!! \n\nLet me tell a brief story!\n\n«  « Part 1: My king we need to increase our wealth and improve the economic condition. The king asks the council, ‘so what can we do’. The councilman suggests to explore other parts of the world, make settlements & establishments, steel the wealth, enslave the people, so that we can be lazy and enjoy our lives. The king says, ‘It sounds fun and interesting, let’s enforce it’.\n\nPart 2: Many ships sail all across the world, and found many lands for their quest. Upon reaching the shores, they started saying ‘Hey dude! We were passing by and thought we could rest here for a while.’ The natives are very welcoming and treat their guests with utmost respect, gave place to stay, put food on their plates, shared the roof so that they can be comfortable. After few days, ‘Hey dude! We think we could trade and do business’. The natives as usual, without knowing the real intention, agreed to them with goodwill and great heart. A few more days later, ‘hey dude! You guys or not competent enough to govern your self. So we will take the charge moving forward’. The natives were astounded with these actions. \n\nWhat happened next was the darkest periods in the history.\n\nPart 3: My king!! Mission success!! There you go with ships full of different form of wealth, materials, valuables, spices, and most importantly hard working men as slaves & women for our ***** needs. Those who turn against are imprisoned, beaten, tortured and killed for fun as they can never become the wealth. \n« « \n\nThis went on for centuries until the colonizers extracted till the last drop of the wealth. And, guess what, they didn’t want the natives to live in peace. So they made sure to land mine enough troubles to ensure that the natives live in hell for the rest of their generations and always be a third world nation.\n\nWhat else they did… \nWhich religion do you practice you brown rubbish… ‘we follow …. ‘ no no no, you are going to follow this *** moving forward.\nWhich language do you speak… ‘we speak ….’ No no no, moving forward you will speak E****, S*****, P*****, F*****. And for every other things.\n\nUnfortunately, what the colonizers didn’t foresee is that someday, the same natives would overcome all the hurdles with their hard work and determination to overshadow the colonial past, and to succeed past the so called colonizers.\n\nIf the Brits hadn’t colonized India, probably Indians wouldn’t be immigrating to Western English speaking nations. Most likely they wouldn’t have learned English. Oh wait, if they haven’t colonized any part of the world, we wouldn’t have seen these English speaking western countries and have no problem with the immigration issues. \n\nCan we change the past??? Unfortunately, nope! But karma always kicks back in. What was done in the past, comes back 10 folds in the future.\n\nLast thing I want to say is that I no way means to support the bad things. I believe that we are all humans, not that being white is a privilege and being black as underprivileged, undermined,………It was funny to see in the video that people still differentiate and being proud for being white. Being a brown person is in fact a good thing medically. \n\nWe all need to find means to live in harmony and not create nuisance or bother others, be it an immigrant, outsider, natives, local, westerners…..\n\nLet’s make the world a better place to live in peace and harmony. After all we are all the children’s of Mother Earth✌️ \n\nOne World, One Earth, One Nation, One Homo Sapiens. ??

Feel sorry for our Indians working there to make ends meet in an environment which is full of racism and hatred against Asians. This is the problem with such people who take pleasure in hurting offending and condescending someone . Such behaviour is outrageous and the customer needs medication for his condition. The delivery guy showed exemplary restraint and professionalism. Kudos to him

I came to Canada from Ukraine ( just as the war in Ukraine broke out). As I got off the plane I was a bit scared that I might have taken the wrong plane. There was so many Indians around me, i couldn't shake off the feeling that I was in the wrong country. Yeah the amount of Indians you guys have is just crazy. They're just taking over, and that's weird that Canadian government is so chill about it.

Mesg to all foreign and Indian students in Canada - never put up with this type of bad behavior, it is not tolerated in Canada. Calling the police will not get you into trouble if you feel threatened or unsafe. Not only was this guy threatening with physically violence, but the racist language was enough to get him arrested, verbal racial abuse is considered a hate crime. Really wish the driver called the police. If someone knows how to track this guy since he uploaded the video, please report it to the police.

What an idiotic reporting!\nI have seen Brampton grow since 90s. No one wanted to go to Brampton, it was very scarcely populated and property was cheap. That is the reason Indian who migrated to Canada, often came with very less money started buying property there, because that is what they can afford. \nOff course Brampton has more Indian population, because it was made what it is today by Indian settlers. Bottom line is this guy has problem with them not being white. What a bigot!\nYou have China town, Greek town, Portuguese area in GTA, why not even make video on them that they don’t feel Canadian?

Dear north Indians, i guess now you guys can understand a little bit about our feelings how a north-eastern feels in his /her own country.

North Indian people look at this, this is called racist action... when you come to non hindi states, we just request you to learn and respect non hindi culture and language.. but you don't want.. you just want to impose your language on us ... that's why hindi speakers being beaten in non hindi states...\nAs a Indian, i also feel bad about this guy ... he can speak their language, he doesn't doing any criminal activity in their country but still he faced this type of situation..
