American here. I worked in Canada for about a year on and off for my company back in 2019 or so. Back then real Canadians were pissed off about jobs, healthcare and inequality for work. My company needed temp workers and they sent about 40 or so non Canadians that couldn't speak English and were lazy as hell. Diversity.

Taxes and Immigration are just two of the Weapons being used against every Canadian by the Government working in cahoots with greedy and lazy oligopolies in this Country, The Question is; Are we as Canadians being replaced ? It’s sad being a born Canadian and watching the land I love turn into an income battleground. Nobody wants to hire someone with the thought of training. They want people with experience but won’t give the experience to those who lived here and need it. They’d rather hire someone from somewhere else that has experience and then fails to follow through as the born and raised person given the opportunity would. I am a Jamaican descendant born Canadian and I am homeless living on the street. The irony is, I am great with money and have been working since a child at 13. I haven't taken vacations or time off. The system has failed me tremendously. I was denied second stage and transitional housing 3 times with out reason. I was discharged from shelters where I was the only one working on my betterment while others continued with poor habits such as depression, laziness and addictions. I wish I had political power because boy oh boy, things would change drastically.

You guys gate kept the jobs from Canadians, rejecting our applications and pay us unliveable wage, then cry that you dont have enough workers, only to go get foreign workers to replace us.Then cry about crime rates and the housing market. Canadians want to work!!, we have been working for many winters now!!, but you guys keep preventing us from working because you want cheap labour. cheap labour comes with a lot more economic issues than hiring citizens. Funny how I sat with a Canadian elderly person who looked me in the eye and told me how lazy Canadian youth are and crying that immigrants are getting their jobs when in reality it’s either they don’t have the actual qualification or do not want to work the job. As an employment coordinator, I have received so many Canadians under 35 years of age who want me to help them look for a job but then after all the effort I put in they just send a long message telling me they don’t think they are mentally ready or physically ready or if they are worthy or good enough hence the reason they just want to quit and not get a job anymore.

I remember a few Indian immigrant families during the 70s to 90s and they were very respectful nice families in our community. But now in 2017-2024 all these immigrants from Punjab are always very rude to me at my workplace. The women never say hello to me (I am a white female) and they just walk by me arrogantly or look down and away. They're always gossiping with each otger and wasting time at work. Canadians have started to become poorer since public healthcare policies started. This will continue regardless of immigration, although slowing immigration may cause more economic hurdles for most Canadians. Slowing immigration will be better for immigrants as well. I believe there are better opportunities for immigrants elsewhere and that is true for hard working Canadians. The homeless population is 99% made up of people born in Canada. Immigrants are working two jobs, some outperforming the ones born here. A lot of them doing jobs “Canadians” don’t want to do. The housing crisis has more to do with the restrictive zoning laws that make it hard to build new housing, which benefits the few billionaires who own the few construction companies allowed to operate. Blaming immigration is simply being intellectually lazy.

This video doesn’t address the fact that local Canadians don’t want to work minimum wage. You say Canadian students , most won’t apply and when they do , they are lazy, entitled and unreliable. He's ungrateful, LAZY and feels he's entitled. talking about the system that he paid for, like other people who dont look like him haven't and dont contributed to it. every working immigrant to ?? have to pay the same taxes as every born canadian. most of us have to work 2,3 jobs, work that you would never be caught dead doing. while we are working on our day offs in our spare time ur on your vacation, at ur cottage drinking, fishing, hunting, golfing & so on. its not enough that the system is in every way to & for ur benefit, you now want to be housed and fed

There is nothing wrong with immigration. What needs to happen is we need faster processing to get these people working. There are doctors, nurses and others sitting on welfare waiting to actually fill these jobs. Every hospital is crying for staff. Senior's homes also. They take jobs that the lazy Canadians don't want or are too proud to do. I was trying to hire labourers and plenty of times was told they wouldn't get out of bed for less than twenty dollars. FFS
