I’m an Indian, and let me state the reality clearly. India has repeatedly warned Canada that many individuals seeking asylum there include criminals facing serious charges or jail time in India. These networks have contributed to gang wars, drug trafficking, and rising violence in Canada. If Canada genuinely wants to curb shootings, drug cartels, and organized crime, it must treat Khalistani extremist groups as terrorist organizations and stop offering safe haven to criminals. Canada’s continued refusal to extradite such individuals reflects a failure of policy, largely under the Trudeau government.

Most of this issue is caused by north Indians who find it hard to assimilate especially the Sikhs. And the issue was caused by the canadian government who prioritized quantity over quality. As an indian immigrant there are times I feel disgusted by their behavior. Due to this behavior the nicer Indians who hold up canadian values are getting the same discrimination. The thing is, when you bring up people who faced discrimination and serious problems in their home countries—like not having access to a decent standard of living, proper culture, or good education—it makes everything so much harder for them when they arrive in a new country too.I also want to talk about jobs in Canada, bruh. All the industries seem dominated by specific ethnic groups that have basically taken them over. For example, in construction, you mostly see Spanish or Portuguese crews who only speak their own language on the job. And Indians—they've pretty much taken over all the Walmarts and fast-food chains in Canada.They should've kept Canada truly multicultural instead of letting it turn into this. And don't even get me started on the nepotism in the job market lol. You cant even make a gues how hard was for me to find a roofing company that speaks english in their crews lol.

One thing to highlight with not seeing any homeless Indians in that first seen is not that Indians are causing others to be homeless - rather, they are willing to help family out to prevent homelessness! When we first came here (20+ years ago from Ethiopia), we couldn’t find work and faced homelessness. Our extended family came thru and let the 4 of us stay in a small 1 bedroom in the basement until we could get on our feet. By having a room to be safe in, we avoided a lot of the consequences of homelessness that would have made getting back on our feet exponentially difficult. What I have found shocking now to see as a Canadian of 20+ years is my non-immigrant Canadian friends who will watch quietly as their family members fall under the poverty line and towards homelessness, avoiding inviting them in to not “disrupt their peace” at home. I’ve had random family of friends stay with me in hard times to avoid them being on the street while my generally kind friends (at least to others!) did not take them in. This individualistic mindset of the West really means if you have a low point in life, you will plummet to rock bottom…. Ofc homelessness and poverty is multifaceted but a more collective approach to community would also reduce the burden!

Immigration is a scam. There's very little, if any, economic benefit from immigration, and what benefit there is has been shown to almost always be captured by those who hired immigrants and the immigrants themselves, while passing on all the economic, social, and environmental burdens to our poor communities. Let's face it, immigration is a transfer of money from labor to capital it's about 3 things: profit, power, and punishment. We need to have an immigration moratorium. We also need to focus on re-migration for those who do not assimilate. Of course, none of this will happen until immigration becomes a problem for those at the top who have been pushing it down our throats for decades.

The real problem is not just people, it’s the Canadian immigration system and the loopholes IRCC has left wide open. In Punjab and other parts of India, wealthy families are arranging marriages where a girl with IELTS comes to Canada, then calls her husband here. Many of these are nothing more than contract marriages, where once the boy arrives, they go their separate ways. This is blatant abuse of the system and has created a wave of people entering Canada without even basic English skills. IRCC needs to wake up and fix this. Students on study or work visas must not be allowed to bring their spouses. If someone wants to come, let them take an English test themselves and prove they’re qualified. Study permits should only be issued for genuine university students, not random private colleges being used as back doors into the country. On top of that, no work permits should be given while on a study visa. Employers who hire students illegally on cash as cheap labour should face strict penalties, heavy fines, and blacklisting. Until these loopholes are closed, Canada’s immigration system will continue to be exploited and lose credibility. IRCC, this is not immigration — this is fraud facilitated by weak laws.

Im a Canadian and honestly I've NEVER had a problem finding a job, I don't even have my highschool... I think it has to do with *which* jobs they are applying for. I get that theres an "immigration" problem, the refusal to adapt and assimilate feels like a slap in the face especially when the same few will talk I'll of the same system they benefit from. Are the ones saying they can't find work willing to work in trades? General laborers making $25-$30+++ No experience required. Tradespeople are glad to teach people willing to work hard and learn.. What about warehouse work? Apply to your 5 closest warehouses, I guarantee youll get in 1.. ALSO the government IS willing to help Canadians get little certifications like forklift, smartserve, CPR.. Career colleges can help with training (e.g - computer) as well as soft skills.
