Just an FYI here, lived worked my entire adult life in Canada, 62 now and don't have a doctor, can't retire anytime soon, but my illegal immigrant neighbours get 80 thousand dollars per year and free EVERYTHING! I made 30 thousand working and paying for them...GAWD help us all that have put our entire lives into paying for other people and countries well being, maybe one day Canada will put me first and make sure I can afford to eat in this country

Then the separatists want to ad at least a trillion dollar loan, to leave Canada and service that debt. Where is all this massive wealth the separatist spew? Then she wants to wait another year for the people to tell her what to do about it. She is totally insane. Danielle, the worst Premiere in Alberta's history. Another survey, and another year wasted while nothing get's done? Please stop blaming everyone else for Alberta's problems. It is getting tiring. Danielle never says much that is correct. If Canada does let a a new Alberta use it's existing pipelines, of course they will not subsidize them any more. They will expect to make a profit from them. So let's say they add on $5.00 more per barrel. Using Danielle's math that would add another $5 Billion annually to Alberta's skyrocketing debt every year. Can you explain to me where all this massive wealth that Rath and Wilson preach? Of course there are many other issues like business/jobs leaving. Equalization payments are not really and issue as oil plummets, especially with no LNG Equalization is based on high earnings, as Albertans make more money than everywhere else. If there are no jobs, Alberta may again start to get payments back even. Trump thinks Alberta oil will be good for USA reserves so he can just shut that down for 100 years, so what will that do to Alberta jobs , and deficit. I believe there is at least half a million people from India in Canada maybe 90% of those have already overstayed their welcome in Canada and they're getting away with it they go to work for Indian trucking companies that paid them as contractors so the company pays them as contractors and it's up to that employee whether or not they file their taxes while they can't even they don't even have a social insurance number

I live approximately 45 minutes from the Canadian border where the agent was murdered by the cultist. From there, there are so many people constantly trying to get across the border. This infuriates me knowing this happens. We had maybe 5 recent acquisitions of Indian people setting up and ruining successful gas stations and pop up smoke shops in my town allowing minors to freely browse and buy products. They keep to themselves because the people around here understand their predatory ways of selling and how gross they naturally are. I'm disappointed and I don't like them. I accept humans but I don't accept someone who can't wash their hands nor maintain a clean image morally and professionally. I know for certainty that they are illegally here buying properties which are very hard for us locals to even get our hands on. Something needs to be done and people need to be aware.

Good journalism, it's good to get out and hear what people are thinking. In viewing, it occurs to me that it's hard for white people, and maybe Christians, to understand some Asians. The Mormons have land and a strong daily schedule, some community churches have very strong programs, but as a whole, The Church has done nothing to make itself appealing and therefore, there's no opposite or equal force. What to do? and as far as assimilating, yes, they should, but to what? Should they start playing hockey, drinking beer, etc. The second gen might. The West has lost it's way and religion isn't the solution but a culture not so decadent would be a good start.

I'm a Brampton resident. My family immigrated in the late 90s. I grew up on YTV, TVO kids, Fox Kids, Treehouse TV. I also still grew up knowing my own native culture and religion. I attend one of these temples of worship. Despite this, I still made friends with different races of people. I think my community needs to branch out a little more and learn about other cultures that live amongst us. Maybe we need to have a little less pride on where we come from? I don't know what the exact answer is. One thing I know is we can definitely get along. Just need the community to adapt more and actually learn Canadian culture. Maybe go see a Blue Jays game at the Skydom? Maybe know who Wayne Gretzky is?? LOL.

Greetings from Mumbai -India I completely agree that with the resurge of the Indian Right Wing -our RECENT Indian immigrants are making a HUGE MISTAKE by building only a *Indian Society* inside Brampton,Canada & refusing to assimilate which is *really really stupid* Truth is that Indians family system *over time* will /has OVERWHELMED the white skinned systems in economics,savings,wealth accumulation etc and naturally OVER TIME the white settlers will get replaced by fitter, better equipped races & maybe *co-habitation,acceptance* will only delay the ending ?

22years ago a family of four newcomers - mom, dad and two kids, from Pakistan, moved in next door to us in a small south west Ontario city. Beautiful neighbourhood with lovely homes. Within 18 months there were 21 family members - parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc - packed in there and the government cheques were pouring in; surprise, surprise; suddenly they were able to start buying businesses and investment properties. Don’t get me wrong, they were nice and only took advantage of everything the government was offering but they certainly flaunted rules and what I’d call Canadian conventions. Their house and property was turning into a complete shithole and we did the “white flight” shortly afterwards. Make no mistake, whether it’s India or Pakistan, we are slowly, or maybe not so slowly, be colonized by those countries…and those are not nice countries.

Im a Canadian and honestly I've NEVER had a problem finding a job, I don't even have my highschool... I think it has to do with *which* jobs they are applying for. I get that theres an "immigration" problem, the refusal to adapt and assimilate feels like a slap in the face especially when the same few will talk I'll of the same system they benefit from. HOWEVER I don't think it's good to lump all of these problems together and dump collective blame on immigrants. Are the ones saying they can't find work willing to work in trades? General laborers making $25-$30+++ No experience required. Tradespeople are glad to teach people willing to work hard and learn.. What about warehouse work? Apply to your 5 closest warehouses, I guarantee youll get in 1.. ALSO the government IS willing to help Canadians get little certifications like forklift, smartserve, CPR.. Career colleges can help with training (e.g - computer) as well as soft skills. So yeah, I wonder if it's people being just as picky as they were when Canada wasn't in the economical shitter it is in rn? Maybe Im far luckier or fortunate than most?
