Today March 1st 2026 I did my test and passed by 17/20 because of this video and reading the book. Just wanna say a big THANK YOU to you for making this possible for me. The test is quite easier than I expected tbh

I recently took the test and passed (17/20). In my experience, only a few questions were similar to this video. The real test focused more on understanding concepts from the Discover Canada guide rather than repeated practice questions. Still helpful for revision, but definitely prioritize the official book/guide.

Thank you so much for this video. I just passed the test with 17/20. Few questions are out of this video. And some are tricky. I did some other mock tests as well like Richmond Library, studied the map and etc.
Some I remember are:
1. What is the common term for someone elected in Federal elections?
A. Riding Winner
B. Member of Parliament
C. Senate
D. Federal Executive.
2. Which of the following represents being Canadian and expresses national identity?
A. Symbols like Maple leaf
B. Equality
C. Unity
D. Human Right Commission
3. Jury duty consists of partial jurors and past jurors (in similar meaning)
True or False.
4. French and English are:
A. Fighting rebellion in 1800s
B. French joined hands with Americans to fight against English
C. Lived together for 300 years
D. All of the above
5. Got a basic question about suffrage movement
6. What are prairie provinces?
Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba (SAM)
7. I got a question about provinces from west to east on Canada map. Please look and memorize the provinces locations.
8. Got a question about Peace Arch in Blaine
9. Question about Peace Tower like what was built after first world War.
10. Question about Aboriginals.
Ans: First Nations, Metis and Inuits
11. Branches of Parliament
Ans: Sovereign, House of commons and Senate
12. Courts do:
Ans: Settle disputes
These all what I remember. I am not sure which ones I got wrong. Might be in the first 5 I posted here. Test is not difficult but it is better to go through this video multiple times and do some other mock tests as well, in my opinion.
Thank you and All the Best 😊

The larger issue you don’t seem to understand or convey in your video is the fact that this racist and ignorance-fuelled behaviour becoming so normalized without thinking about the deeper issues at hand trickles into society at large is it eventually seeps into racism in general towards other cultures (although it’s not right towards any culture or ethnicity). Basically if you’re not white or white passing people become less inclusive or accepting, or write you off thinking you’re a foreigner (have seen this being experienced by a lot of Canadian born friends).
This is all in all a reflection of the failing critical thinking skills in our society and dumbing down of our culture.
If you think you’re gonna sit cushy and you’re safe because you’re not one of the indians, well you just might be next!
People have lost empathy and decency.
A lot of the videos posted online are exaggerated posts to garner views and engagement, but it’s not necessarily the truth.

I just finished my test January 28 2026 19/20. , I got multiple True/False questions as many people. One was about Olympic gold medal winner in 2010 Vancouver was Men's team. True.
I remember a question about
start of the modern energy industry, it had given timefram and what was the energy . I chose the Oil Alberta 1947 , which was correct. It has I think hydroelectricity Quebec 1980 as another answer closest for choice.
Another question I remember
True false , it has 3 names
Question was are these one of the great inventors of Canada.
So I would suggest you take note of Greatest inventors of Canada. There are multiple.
Many answers of questions are too easy to eliminate because they don't make sense at all. You are mostly between 2 answers easily. If you just study this video I think you'll surely pass 😅.
Another question was ; Who are appointed by on the advice of Prime minister?
Answers;
Memebers of parliement
Mayors
Senators
Citizens
Obviously Senators was the answer but answers might differ, so just study the other applicable answers for the questions.

One thing that always surprises me is that a lot of immigrants actually don't like mass immigration. I worked with a polish lady who complained more than anyone about the amount of polish people. I've met a lot of Turkish people and a few of them weren't best pleased with the amount of turkish people, and in this video an Indian man says there's too much of it too. Its not an uncommon sentiment among immigrants that they specifically came here for a change in culture, only for it to follow them here. Specifically surrounding politics, a lot of them leave because of the politics where they were, only to find its just as much of a problem here because so many bring those problems over with them rather than leaving them behind.
Just to clarify though while I think immigration is obviously a big problem in its current state, I'm not at all against the idea of immigration in general. I care more about where people are going than where they're from. Its just very odd when you hear a strong accented polish lady walk passed complaining and swearing about all the polish people. I guess it does make sense though, if i imagine desperately wanting to leave home for Australia, it would obviously be disappointing to arrive after packing up my life savings to find out all of the people and all of the things were exactly the same as back home. Pretty sad when you think about it.

just passed the test right now, and the very first thing I wanted to do—before even telling my family—was to leave this comment.
I watched the video only once, from the beginning up to question 215. One time only—yes, one time only. Then I took the test, and on my first attempt I passed with 15 correct answers out of 20.
I honestly can’t believe it. I didn’t realize how much I knew until I was sitting there answering the questions. About 50% of them came directly from the first 215 questions in the video.
I am truly, deeply grateful to everyone who worked on this video. It’s not just good—it’s amazing.
After nine years of struggle with this citizenship journey, I finally feel like I can breathe… like I can fly a little.
Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. 🤍

Many many thanks to the creator of this video. I thought taking the Toronto reference library classes and just reading the book was enough. But I learnt so much so quickly from watching this video 3-5 times.
Passed the test - 20/20 in one go, i knew more than I thought I did.
Whoever made this has all my gratitude.

I have scored 18 out of 20. 2 or 3 question was outside of this video.
1 that I can remeber was - The Canadian Coat of Arms symbolizes __
the answer suppose to be - Canada's history, unity, and heritage, blending British, French, and distinctly Canadian symbols, with the maple leaf representing all Canadians and the shield quadrants showing England (lions), France (fleur-de-lis), Scotland (lion), and Ireland (harp).
I got that one wrong.
Anothe one included a true/false question with the names of poet (not the names mentioned in the video). I marked it as true but I guess it also went wrong.
Thanks for this video @immigration Canada
Anyone can pass the exam by just following this video.

Unbelievable! Not a single question on the exam came from the 411 questions—I wasted two full days watching the videos three times! Luckily, I studied the Discover Canada book and managed to get 17 questions right, just barely passing. Don’t fall for it like I did!

Very well done video & Thank YOU for showcasing the point of view from "real Canadians". As an immigrant who came to this country & fell in love with its culture 40 years ago, it's appalling to see how our beautiful first world country is quickly becoming a gutter. The newcomers these days are the privileged ones. All of us need to speak up, especially those of us immigrants who retain our original accents &/ non-white because our white fellow Canadians are accused of being racist whenever they do (though many could learn to be more eloquent. ie. go back to your country does NOT help)! I see it as my Canadian duty to remind "misbehaving" newcomers the reason they left their country in the first place. ie. You chose Canada for a better life, so why try to change it into the one you left? ie. Help me understand your logic? Why not leave your hate & war at the border; just like normal folks won't bring stinky garbage into their new homes. Life is challenging enough when you uprooted to a new country (especially our unforgiving cold Winter). So, just focus on the positive things in your new country & leave all your miseries behind... ie. Learn to adapt & enjoy your new country. Canada is a great country because of the love & effort of those before you, so now you are the beneficiary. Join the legacy by enhancing this beautiful country & its culture, so you can pass on this century old legacy for later newcomers to enjoy, like you do now. What dignity do you have & what kind of life lessons to your children by bullying your culture & religion into Canada at the expense of other Canadians? This will fracture Canada if everyone does that. Do you want this country to become so fractured & terrible that your descendants have to leave for a better country, like you did? Is that what your religion teaches you? Does it state it's perfectly fine to satisfy all your whims & wishes at the expense of others? Are you striving for Canadians to think badly of your race/culture? Are you being a good ambassador to your race/community/culture/religion? Canadians are so friendly & helpful, if you need help, just ask, please don't demand. Learn the language & it's ok to speak broken/pigeon English with gestures to communicate. No one expects you to be an English scholar; you gain respect for trying. Apply some basic Canadians manners, which goes a long way... Please & Thank You, Smile doesn't cost you anything, besides it's good exercise for your facial muscles. I worked my entire career with the public, I very seldom encounter negative feedback when I do the above. If they get nasty, I tell them that's definitely not the Canadian way to make friends & wish them Good Luck! I also make a point in telling the wealthy ones "Tax Avoidance is legal (I'm more than happy to show them), but Tax Evasion is not! Then reminding them....Canada will be bankrupt eventually if everyone don't pay their fair share of taxes. ie. You may not suffer, but your children/grandchildren will. Worst Case scenario, you didn't get the necessary medical care when you most needed it!!!
We should lobby for a mandatory course that all newcomers have to take & PASS a test about Canadian culture & expectations. If they fail, no citizenship for sure! But that would be another hornets nest because our parliament will debate over definition of "Canadian Culture" for decades. Welcome to Canada!😂
