As far as this oppression against minority is concerned all sikhs in India are free to do as they wish in their own land. They have a democratically elected leader and sikhs in India are very happy. I’m Punjabi, Indian and my parents came in the 1970s assimilated, and became hard working people and earned a name and reputation! The Indians coming in now are degenerates, entitied to PR and the they don’t act like students they want to drive around in jeep wranglers and chargers in plazas and fight with one another like morons! Hey! Im a sikh that was born in canada, with my parents, grand father, great grand father also being in this beutiful country. I wanted to start of by saying a couple of things. My home was in brampton for a long time and I have personally seen the safety gone down, my family used to come back from trips with our garage open and everything would be completely fine. The long term sikhs and indians came and actually contributing positively and that can be seen with how good canada was pre 2020. Immigration too an extent was good, but mass immigration was never a good idea. In 2018-2019 the old time punjabi community was heavily against so many students coming in, so much so people that were indian had "no students" signs when renting their basements. It's sad to see people that came here running things so badly and ruining the effort and contributions made by many(I even face the consqeunces of things I have never done). Remeber don't be afraid to call out people for their bullshit, but also dont bash innocent people. Now many ppl came to canada and have done good like sikhs having the highest donors of blood, plasma, and platelets. We also giveway a lot in charity and food. A good news is Canada is cracking down on these bad people and quickly, and many good people who came are returning back home. I have seen a lot of videos online, but please remember algorithms and pushed media make things seem worse than they actually are. As an American, I am ignorant about Canada and its immigration policy, and so wonder how much stated in this video are lies due to racism, and how much is true? For example, the Indians who come to the US are vetted, are educated, and work hard. Since the 90s, most of the Indians who come to the US are not Punjabi Sikhs, nor are they Muslim. Punjabis came earlier, but since the tech boom, most who come are Hindus usually from Southern India. About 20% are also Christian. These Hindu and Christian Indians from Southern India are model minorities. Think of these kids who do well in the Spelling Bee. No crime, no trash, just educated hard working folks. Especially here where I am in San Jose, CA. So are these Canadians lying, or are the type of Indians who go to Canada worse? Those with fake diploomas or Sikhs claiming refugee status due to their religion and not being safe in Hindu India? Something is amiss bc how can these Indian immigrants be so different? If Canada is not vettung their immigrants why not? I also know that a coworker of mine who is from Southern India, his niece recently secured a visa to Canada and she is a Radiation Oncologist, an occupation Canada is in need of. So assumed lie the US, Canada is letting in needed skilled workers.

Punjabis are just about 2% of Indian population and almost 90% of immigration to UK, Canada and Australia. That Census data makes absolutely no sense. The majority of Brampton is Indian Punjabi Sikhs. None of these are mutually exclusive. \nIndian and Pakistani are nationalities. Punjabi is an ethno-linguistic group. Sikh and Hindu are religions.

They're fudging the categories, as Indians are mostly Hindu with some Muslims, Pakistanis are Muslim, Punjabis are mostly Hindu and and Sikh, Pakistanis are of Punjabi ethnicity, etc. That's not even counting Bangladeshis and Sri Lankans. Ok I don't believe the pooping on the beach thing. Most Canadians have dismissed it. I have to say, however, the percentage of rude Indians in Canada has increased. The entitlement is worse. While a lot of what you have said is true, we do not agree that these are people from varied areas within India. To clarify, it is 75% Punjabis+Sikhs, 24% Gujarathis, and the remaining 1% distributed from all other parts of India. Indians have shown themselves as the most uncultured of all the population across the world. The lady is not wrong about the pooping incident. There were Indians spotted doing this, and reports went silent just not to create a major issue with the political situation.
