I just finished my test January 28 2026 19/20. , I got multiple True/False questions as many people. One was about Olympic gold medal winner in 2010 Vancouver was Men's team. True. I remember a question about start of the modern energy industry, it had given timefram and what was the energy . I chose the Oil Alberta 1947 , which was correct. It has I think hydroelectricity Quebec 1980 as another answer closest for choice. Another question I remember True false , it has 3 names Question was are these one of the great inventors of Canada. So I would suggest you take note of Greatest inventors of Canada. There are multiple. Many answers of questions are too easy to eliminate because they don't make sense at all. You are mostly between 2 answers easily. If you just study this video I think you'll surely pass 😅. Another question was ; Who are appointed by on the advice of Prime minister? Answers; Memebers of parliement Mayors Senators Citizens Obviously Senators was the answer but answers might differ, so just study the other applicable answers for the questions.

I am an Indian and I would say Canada belongs to white people, and we should respect their social values. Canadians dont let Canada to turn into Punjab India or into any other country. Canada has a great culture. Preserve your culture Preserve your identity Canadian authorities and Native Canadians must make sure that strict civic sense to be followed by every immigrant.Make English language mandatory for every immigrant. Also every brown skinned is not Indians. Many Pakistani and Bangladeshi also tag themselves as Indians. And Indians who want to turn Canada like their homeland they please come back to India if you miss so much your country why to be in foreign land.

As an immigrant who came to this country & fell in love with its culture 40 years ago, it's appalling to see how our beautiful first world country is quickly becoming a gutter. The newcomers these days are the privileged ones. All of us need to speak up, especially those of us immigrants who retain our original accents &/ non-white because our white fellow Canadians are accused of being racist whenever they do (though many could learn to be more eloquent. ie. go back to your country does NOT help)! I see it as my Canadian duty to remind "misbehaving" newcomers the reason they left their country in the first place. ie. You chose Canada for a better life, so why try to change it into the one you left? ie. Help me understand your logic? Why not leave your hate & war at the border; just like normal folks won't bring stinky garbage into their new homes. Life is challenging enough when you uprooted to a new country (especially our unforgiving cold Winter). So, just focus on the positive things in your new country & leave all your miseries behind... ie. Learn to adapt & enjoy your new country. Canada is a great country because of the love & effort of those before you, so now you are the beneficiary. Join the legacy by enhancing this beautiful country & its culture, so you can pass on this century old legacy for later newcomers to enjoy, like you do now. What dignity do you have & what kind of life lessons to your children by bullying your culture & religion into Canada at the expense of other Canadians? This will fracture Canada if everyone does that. Do you want this country to become so fractured & terrible that your descendants have to leave for a better country, like you did? Is that what your religion teaches you? Does it state it's perfectly fine to satisfy all your whims & wishes at the expense of others? I worked my entire career with the public, I very seldom encounter negative feedback when I do the above. If they get nasty, I tell them that's definitely not the Canadian way to make friends & wish them Good Luck! I also make a point in telling the wealthy ones "Tax Avoidance is legal (I'm more than happy to show them), but Tax Evasion is not! Then reminding them....Canada will be bankrupt eventually if everyone don't pay their fair share of taxes. ie. You may not suffer, but your children/grandchildren will. Worst Case scenario, you didn't get the necessary medical care when you most needed it!!! We should lobby for a mandatory course that all newcomers have to take & PASS a test about Canadian culture & expectations. If they fail, no citizenship for sure! But that would be another hornets nest because our parliament will debate over definition of "Canadian Culture" for decades. Welcome to Canada!😂

It's true though. I couldn't get a job for over two years, I applied EVERYWHERE, they would say they're not hiring, then a week later I'll see a new worker or two being trained and guess what? they're indian/punjab (sorry, unsure all the proper terms of people or the differences). Not to mention that they treat indigenous women the way they would back home.... Pretty much every person I know (I'm indigenous and have experienced it myself) has experienced some sort of harassment or assault or whateva with them... And yes, I know it's not all of them, I also know some great people that are indian/punjab but I'm not going to act like there isn't a problem....... Then people think indigenous people get "hand outs"... I was broke for over two years, I tried welfare, it's not as easy as it seems to people lol Also, I'm sure I'm wrong, but I always assumed Immigration was like... reserved for people that need it kind of like refugees.

Trump has destroyed trust in US allies, and it can ont be repaired easy. Trust can be destroyed in minutes, but it takes many years, maybe decades, before it can be gained again. It affects not only what US experiences right now with Canada and Mexico. Be sure that even Taiwan Australia and all other Asian allies are questioning right now if USA can be trusted. Imagine, Trumps breaks a treaty with Canada and Mexico which he personally has established in his first presidency and sold to his people as the greatest deal that has ever been archieved. Tells you a lot about US credebility. Trump is right now destroing world order which has been established mainly by USA after WW2.\nI heared, that there are rumors, that Trump might be a Russian KGB agent since 1987. I don't know if that is true, but it would explain a lot of why Trump is acting as he does - it is not in the interest of USA, pressurizing/blackmailing/offending/humiliating US allies and destroying US and foreign economies. This is practically enacting a wishlist of foreign dictators like Putin and Xi Chin Ping.\nIt certainly will not make America great again, but poorer, weaker and internationally isolated. it will be US people that will suffer the most.

It's no trade war, it's protectionnism. Something you should have done way before in your 10-year tenure. Also, he's not allying Putin, he's negociating on behalf of world peace. Talking about a REAL (world) Leader! My personal message to Mr. Trudeau... 'Why you leave at this critical stage?' We need leaders like you to stand up to this type of Clowns who jerk themselves off for power and dollar-bills. Trump doesn't even use the CIA for his geopolitical briefings, he actually uses 'Private Services' for his info, (at Taxpayer Expense) largely I'm sure, because anyone who is close to being Competent at what they do would 'KNOW' things, and would be correcting Trump, constantly, which he hates with a passion. On top of this there's Tulsi Gabbard who the Ruzzians themselves have publicly stated IS an Agent of theirs for the last Decade. It's for these reasons and more that I say D.J. is a Traitor to this Country for the love of money. \n How much more of an illustration does one require for a 'Worst Case' scenario?!? Great, unambiguous words by the Canadian president! But one of his remarks stood out: he said that the tyrants want to divide us. He is correct, of course. But the implications are profound! This means that Trudeau himself is measuring his words and deliberately using diplomatic language. He even says that Trump is “intelligent”, which only plays into the imbecile’s unfortunate NPD psychology! The unwillingness to stand strong against American tyranny is harming democracy worldwide! Force Trump to declare a side! And make him choose Putin or democracy NOW!! If you fail to do that, you are taking the path of accommodation, and if Trump is really a tyrant (which he surely is, because of MANY evidences!!), democratic countries weaken their position by not standing strong NOW. If Europe and Canada and Mexico ban Tesla imports and place 50% tariffs on tens of billions of dollars of American products, what would happen? Are these countries AFRAID of the United States? As a South African, I want to say that this trade war, as well as the hostile approach of Trump towards Canada, is devastating. If one were not experiencing it directly, it would be almost impossible to believe. This is such a remarkable speech that it will go down in history as one of the truly great speeches in times of crisis. It is entirely correct to address the American and Canadian peoples directly, as the Prime Minister has done. They are both clear victims of this madness, Americans misled, and Canadians the target, of this senseless trade war. If one reads History, there is another dimension to this, and I hate to say it. Canadians have to prepare themselves for worse. No offense, since I don’t know if you guys drink coffee or not, but You do realize other countries export to the US. Have never heard of Guatemalan, Brazil, Peru, Marrocan, Ethiopia, Belgium, Costa Rican coffee? Arab countries etc. They all make great coffee. Coffee is not only from Colombia. There’s so various countries producing great coffee .\n\nThey all export coffee to the US. Unless you ONLY like Colombian coffee this shouldn’t be a problem. I’m sure this benefits other countries to expand. Each with distinct flavors and aromas. \n\nStarbucks imports coffee from over 30 different countries from Latin America, Africa, Middle East. \n\nIt’s like if Trump puts a 25% tariff on French wine. I love my French wine and it would suck. But I still love my Italian and Washington State wine.\n\nBananas like mention also come from other countries as well like Guatemala, Costa Rica, Honduras etc. \nBasically other countries exist that benefit from this. The only problem I could see is they can’t produce enough . Which I doubt. And I’m sure African countries or other countries can under cut prices if others try to inflate prices just to get market share in the US. \n\nAlthough, coffee prices are not only determined by supply and demand. Country of origin and brand also plays a role. Like I said it’s like wine. I love my cheap Washington State Merlots and my Italian Chianti, but people still buy over price California and French wine .

I was in the Missouri when i got sick. I drove home and was diagnosed with a brainstem tumour. 10 hr surgery, 4 surgerical teams, icu, wks hospitalization. Months of rehab and homecare. The school even arranged a cab to take my 5 yr old to school. I have seen bills for pts who didn't make it home and had to have surgery in the US before being repatriated back to the icu i worked. It was an eye opener to see what they were charged for a box of kleenex, a catheter, an iv bag etc. I would have lost everything if i had to have surgery in the US. \nMy sister is currently in hosp in the US, and she is getting good care. I drove down last time she was in, and i was impressed by the lovely large CCU bay, but, hey patients are paying for it. She had a fancy postop CABG pillow to splint her chest when she had to coughed. It had a cute surgical heart on it. I am sure it cost $$. In Canada, we give our pts a regular pillow, some iv morphine and tlc when it hurts when they cough, no fancy cartoon pillow, but no bill either lol. She's a senior on medicaid so she's not going into massive debt or dying in her home to avoid going to the hospital.\n \nI have been travelling to the states since 1976 as a young child. I love the states, I have a lot of family there. My dad lived there until his death. My great grandma immigrated and died in Montana. I have never had a negative experience there in over 49 yrs, other than the old lady backed into my parked suv in the hobby lobby lol parking lot l\n\nA big plus in Canada, is paid Maternity/ paternity leaves and also caregiver leave. Your mom has a stroke or child has cancer you can take time off work to care for them with partial pay and not worry about losing your job

I am a senior and live in Vancouver, BC and my son who has dual citizenship lives in Seattle, WA. His wife and him will move back to Canada when he retires. I visit Seattle and enjoy going there. The shopping is great fun especially with all the big store headquarters being there and we can't forget Trader Joe's. I don't drink alcohol anymore, but the cost, volume and availability is crazy. He also lived in New York and lived a train ride away to the suburbs (great system) and was a lovely area to raise a family. Visited NYC and loved it. I've lived in Montreal and just love big cities. In saying all that, I think were all basically the same, however I could never permamentally live in the US. I can no longer afford the outrageous travel health insurance to travel to the USA because of my age and health issues. I have a primary doctor and four specialists that I see on a regular basis, waiting for a hip replacement and none has cost me a cent. Oh yes, I get free dental care. I wouldn't move to the states, but would sure like to visit again. Politics is a whole other subject.

wow this is just an opinion video of sorts, but guess i'm proud to live in montreal. i own the last army surplus store here. 1423 st laurent. i love montreal as a city, the food is second to none for all of north america. um, weather is full winter during dec to feb. i also live near magog in the eastern townships which is beautiful.\ni've been to pei, love it there, great beaches and very quiet. never been to BC, and living here, i would never visit the middle of canada, just flat and boring and drugs are a big problem and homelessness. cabot trail in ( i did it on bicycle) is fabulous. quebec city, amazing.\ni'm a proud canadian and surely there are far worse countries in the world to live in. but when i retire full time , it will leave for a warmer climate (snow bird) in the winter. not florida, too busy and not nearly as nice as the Caribbean, i go to Curacao 1 month every winter. perfect weather and being dutch has great food and is safe island and beaches are second to none........

I apologize to all the Canadians ??!!! Canada has always been a strong ally of the U.S. and a great friend!! Many Americans and Canadians have family together, dual citizenship, and travel and live back and forth in both countries. I am so sorry Trump is being awful to you.\n\nDecreasing the flow of illegal drugs and reducing fentanyl deaths in both countries would benefit Canada and the U.S. Both countries are close partners and I’m sure are already working to address this. I’m sure all Trump had to do was ask nicely and Canada would have handedly agreed to work with the U.S. amid redoubled efforts.

I love Americans. Although that's a general statement and just like Canada, there are jerks there just like here, for the most part I get along great with them. There are pros and cons to living in Canada and the U.S., For the most part, I believe Canada is the superior country. We have a superior healthcare system, superior banking system, superior snacks, and superior safety. However, Trudeau is killing that. He's destroyed our country to the point that one more term, and it may well be expedient to move to the USA. He's destroying our economy, our values, our culture. We have the resources to top the USA in every way, but we've never had leadership to make that happen. The U.S. has a superior economy, retail, and military. Although some may argue that the USA has superior freedoms, I'm not sure I agree with that. I know I don't feel freer when I travel there. I will definitely travel to the U.S. again. I have lots of friends there who I love and would love to see. However, it will take more Trudeau for me to want to move there. Since it looks like he's on the way out, I better just stay put at least for now.

Ohhh if it was her own child I’m sure she wouldn’t be saying that’s ok.., there are many like her out there. They get those papers and they think they work for the White House. If she would’ve visited Mexico and had a kid while visiting and didn’t have the money for a green card it would have been a completely different situation. For those just because you got your papers do you not think that there are people that came here as infants or kids to immigrant parents that came to work to provide for their kids it’s not that easy to get your green card it cost thousands of dollars. Many immigrants that I know and worked with including myself, I came here as a refugee. Immigrants are the hardest working people I know. Unfortunately a lot of the ones that came here as kids grew up in some neighborhoods that are not so great and mainly are kids that were born here that are in gangs or doing drugs or violent so don’t blame immigrants saying they bring all this with them it was already here … drugs gangs violence was already here. Gangs started in the White House with their red and blues. Then they say they are taking all the jobs.. the jobs have always been here but people that are citizens are too lazy to go get jobs or keep jobs ( not all citizens) but the ones that are complaining immigrants usually come from villages without any media or drugs or gangs ect. They simply come here for better opportunities or for jobs. They come to work not to freakin take your jobs… this country everyone is a damn immigrant this country was taken from the natives taken with violence by killing them , rapi!’ Them. And people sit here and say we are here to take back our country… ohhh please stfu!!!!! \nMajority of crimes were committed by our Americans but they look for immigrants and pin their crimes on them… Donald Duck is a damn immigrant he needs to stfu and go to sleep with his pu&@@@ grabbing tiny hands… shame on anyone that supports deportation..

I am in Canada, born in India. I agree there are many Indian brown people here. It’s the govt that invited people, accepted them for the jobs they were unable to fulfill . These are highly educated, skilled and hardworking people. 25% all income from education comes from Indian people. Not to mention the high wages and high taxes they pay, inturn making Canada great. \nI also agree, there are some nasty people out there like any other race be it white, black, brown or purple. The bad guys need to be stopped. As for the rest of the people who don’t bother you, just live in harmony, work for prosperity and make Canada great for the future generations. \nWho you really gotta fight is the LQYZGBAlphabet cabal for humanity to thrive. \nLast but not the least, I sure as hell know the beautiful native Indian people of Canada and America, would have felt the same way seeing your ancestors! “You don’t belong here, there are too many of you, go back” \nBut here you are. \nAnyway, please live happily and let people live.

I have lived in Canada for the last 15 years. Great country. I have had opportunities here that I would never have had in the country I grew up in. Sure, Trudeau has rogered the country, but it will recover once he is voted out - that's democracy. It is better than the alternative - ask any Russian.... Things are no different in the UK or US or Australia or New Zealand....

It's all fine and well that you want to leave Canada but where will you go that's any better? After all it is your choice. The problems we see happening around the world are a global problem. There are at least 2 major wars going on. Inflation is rampant in most countries in the world and we ARE heading for a global economic depression that will dwarf anything that we've seen in the 1930's. Speaking for myself my roots are here in Canada which is not the Canada I grew up in anymore. Sadly. Used to be a really great place to live until Trudeau and his band of thieves ruined it. I may as well make my last stand here. If I was going to move where would I go. The EU? Absolutely not! They're tanking. America? No effing way! The American empire is collapsing. Along with the FED note. South America? Don't think so. Most S. American countries are iffy at best. Australia? No. They're nuts. New Zealand? No. They're struggling badly and people are leaving there in droves. Africa? No way in hell. So that doesn't leave very much. Antarctica? Little on the cold side. Few amenities. ;) May as well stay where I am and take my chances. Better the devil I know than the one I don't. If you're serious about moving out of Canada be sure to do your due diligence and research about your target country. Grass always looks greener on the other side but many times isn't once you get there. One place that I AM attracted to is the Azores. Beautiful place. Friendly people. Good climate. One drawback is that I don't speak Portuguese. And I would have to be independently wealthy. After a certain amount of time out of the country I would lose my Canadian pension. It's said that where we are is where we're supposed to be. I may as well take my chances, make the best of a crappy situation and stay here. There really is no better or worse place than Canada. The majority of the countries in the world are struggling with their own problems. I'm not willing to jump from the frying pan into the fire. One of the biggest reasons I want to stay in Canada is that if it does come to a nuclear shooting war it would be very unlikely that Canada would be attacked. So here I'll stay. For better or worse. The LIberals won't be in power forever and if people have the smallest amount of sense, so few will vote for them in the next election that the Liberals will lose party status. I fervently hope that happens. ;)

All this hate talk. Canada has a population about the size of California. We will never be overcrowded. Tokyo has 14 million people, so Toronto is a drop in the bucket, and yet Tokyo is a great city. The whiners say it is not racism, yet I am sure they would not bat an eye if it was all Americans moving up here or Europeans. The mass movement of people has been going on for eons, as people tend to move from bad areas to better ones.

Why dont they go to a muslim country if they want sharia law, there are plenty of muslim countries that they could go to, but of course they do not have a decent benefit system. If Islam is such a great idea, which I have no argument with in principle, surely these people would be more comfortable on one of those countries rather than being in this country which they seem not to like ??

Why would they keep immigrants there in NY city instead of sending them to Alaska so they do something productive there? The USA should learn a bit more from Canada. I lived there and their immigration system was great because you could get a workplace from the industries that needed workers that couldn't find Canadian workers. Usually you could get a job that is heavy since most Canadians wouldn't like to work building houses or as welders or anything that is heavy-duty. And those job offers used to be located in the north provinces like prince Edward Island or newfoundland, etc etc... and become a permanent resident there in about a year or two. While in Ontario or BC you could get a PR in 5 to 10 years after graduating from college. Immigrants would go to Northern provinces for sure unless they have a big, huge, insulting budget to spend by living in the main cities like Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver or Calgary or Winnipeg.

Canada is in crisis due to immigrants so I don’t understand why you keep coming. Of course Canadian people will not welcome you, our kids can’t get jobs because all jobs are filled with Indian students who agree to work for less ruing our work system. We have Indian people crapping on our beaches because they don’t know how to use a bathroom. Complete different mindset and culture. We are a clean country and welcoming but millions of people at once is too much. I’m pretty sure India would feel the same way if Canadians would do that to you. Not sure why everyone in the world is allowed to be proud of their culture and heritage except for EU or western world. Pin points why Canada and even immigrants, including international students and temporary works dislike immigrants from Punjab:\n\n- They are rude. They have little to none concept of living in society. They are selfish, they are arrogant, and anyone who works in the serving/retail industry will they are the worst customers ever. \n\n- The level of entitlement is beyond absurd. When the leader of this protests in PEI was told “Canada needs doctors and nurses, not you (the guy graduated from a business program, and works at Tim Hortons still), he responded: “I don’t care what Canada needs, is what I need, for myself”, displaying what a great citizen he’d be.\n\n- They refuse to integrate. They left Punjab to pursue a better life, but they want to live like are still in Punjab. \n\n- They scam their way in. Banks in India will lend them money to come to Canada, they buy their IELTS results. 99.9% of all the students I dealt with who got caught cheating on their exams were from India.\n\n- The people we are receiving in Canada are members of a separatist movement. They have often blocked roads to protest against India, because they want Punjab to be separated from India, and turned into a new country called Khalistan. I highly doubt they would all move there if that actually happened.\n\n- Going back to the entitlement: They often abuse the human rights nature of Canada. They sued the government for the right to ride bikes without helmets, or to not be forced to used safety equipment in construction sites, and for the right to walk around carrying a dagger, because it’s a “religious item”. Canada also for some dumb reason accepts their arranged marriages as a real one. Any person from anywhere in the world has to undergo an invasive scrutiny of their relationship, being forced to provide private conversations, and witness. Punjab people need none of it, and Punjab fathers are selling their daughters to strange men, so the family can move to Canada together.\n\n- Statistics Canada often talk about how our population is aging: However, they do not disclose how many of these aging population is due to Indian nationals bringing their parents and grandparents with them. If we got a million Indian people in the past years, that would mean around extra 4 million people over 50 years old. That’s 10% of the entire population. \n\n- They are scammers. You said yourself: To be eligible for a mortgage , you need to make at least $250k per year. They are landing in Canada with no money, and buying houses right away, because they have a network of people forging financial documents, and the also have people infiltrated in banks to approve these processes. Not me saying, that was national news. \n\n- They are extremely racist. They will openly tell you they only rent/hire/do business with Punjab people. Now, even the buses are driven by Punjab people, is insane. And you can tell they are new comers, because some of them can barely speak English. But is a well-known fact: Once one of them is in, they will make sure to bring in as many of their countrymen as possible, and only them. The DEI department of my company approved a Punjab manager, and now more than half of the staff is Punjab. This country sucks now. It used to be a great country, now everything has gone up the roof and the usual suspect (salary) hasn't moved an inch..Taxes, Housing expenses, winter, not sure why anyone in their right mind would want to come here..

Health care is good?? Are you kidding me???? That sounds very insincere!! \nYou probably have never been to an emergency, like NYGH, where instead of the nursing staff, they have there trained jail and security guards to deal with sick people. Instead of “we will not accept any abuse of the staff”, they consistently don’t permit a single question or a word instead! If you make a decision like leaving home after 12 hours waiting, they call security guards and often four of them pin you to a wall!! True case!!! Main difference between Singapore and Canada is the latter has been trying to suppress wages of the working class effectively turning the working class into the working poor. \n\nThis, based on idiotic economic theories coming from central bank economists who think profiting private banks which produce nothing and creating a slave labor force in perpetual debt is good for the economy.\n\nIn Singapore, the govt has done the opposite. i.e. enabled purchasing power of the average citizen to rise along with standards of living. Its created the belief that hard work, innovation and enterprise on the part of the individual actually leads to personal success. \n\nThat dream has faded away in Canada and the young people see a bleak future. Its sad to even have to write this.\n\nWhen central bankers, govt..etc. step in to steal the productive output of the working class, it destroys Capitalism and suplants it with Crony Capitalism. FIRE (Financial, Insurance, Real Estate) speculation prospers while the working class producing real goods and services is financially destroyed.\n\nThe real estate prices are deliberately kept high by artificially restricting supply of housing through all kinds of bureaucratic means. Its main objective is to keep people in debt and working to pay off mortgage debt. A fall in housing prices would undo a lot of the leveraged bets that depend on housing prices staying high -- as happened in 2008 in the US. Main losers of that are banks.\n\nYou can then understand why Canada keeps pushing for more and more immigrants. All pyramid schemes (in this case a debt pyramid scheme) has to expand their base or collapse. It also serves the purpose of wage suppression of the working class so they remain in debt.\n\n\nI don't understand why you came from a prosperous country like Singapore to a lower standard of living in Canada. What did you hope to achieve here that you could not have achieved in Singapore.\n\nUnfortunately, people come to see Canada as a stepping stone to going some place else. \nBut in truth, I'm not sure whether other places are any better.\n\nOne great strength of Canada which Singapore does not have is the vast natural resource base of the country. \nIt remains the one shining star the country can fall back on despite incompetent economists and govt.

If you want a citizenship I don't suggest you go to any gulf countries, of course ignore any war countries, Malaysia and Indonesia have nice people and I think you can get a citizenship there, Jordan might be a good choice you might be able to get a citizenship and there are diverse groups of people but the economy and civil status laws aren't exactly that great, now Egypt is definitely a choice but the country is kinda drifting off of Islam in the recent years, terrible economic conditions and I don't think a citizenship is possible really, I'm not much aware of the Arab west countries but they have their pros and cons definitely, lots of people there speak other languages and there's some beautiful culture and a considerable amount of political safety compared to other countries in the region, other than the occupation Palestine would've been a great choice lots of foreigners live here but I'm not sure what requirements you need for that and I'm pretty sure they probably wouldn't let you do so as Muslims, I have very little knowledge but I wanted to share what I can, I hope it helps.

Im Canadian and would prefer to be in America only if the political climate wasnt so crazy. Id miss our free health care but alot of our doctors are poor quality. The gun violence in the States sxares me too. Im sick of Canadian weather and the price of everything here, abd the low selection. I love our beautiful landscape...but the rain ruins it fir me. I prefer sunny skies, blue seas and palm trees. Ultimately theres stuff I like and dislike in both countries..but America seems better when it comes to getting ahead if you can get a good paying job...and...THE SUNSHINE ? It would be great to have dual citizenship..Im not sure if thats a thing anymore.

Canada is a great country if you wanna be a dependent slave to the government. No guns, free speech is policed and your children can be taken away if you dont agree with them taking hormones and having their genitals mutilated. America isnt perfect but id rather the US then living in a country run by far left wing idiots. Also Canadian healthcare is very overrated. Sure its free but you might die waiting for life saving treatments because the government doesnt want to allow any form of private healthcare if its already “provided” by the government. Most of the gun violence in the US is in the lower income neighborhoods and at least you’re allowed to defend yourself. In Canada if you defend yourself, straight to jail. If you have evidence of self defense youll be ruined by the legal fees. Its sad, Canada used to be great but after 8 years of terrible liberal economic policies the prices have skyrocketed and now canadian kids are being told they’ll never own a house. Who would want to stay here? Most canadians dont care though, as long as they get to smoke their pot they’ll always remain complacent.

I'm a Canadian who moved to Florida 30 years ago. I never regreted it, in fact I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to live here. I've had the best healthcare, great job, own my house and climate most Canadians would dream about. Sure there are crazy people everywhere but I never felt unsafe or needed to own a gun, I have very few complaints, especially when I'm sitting on a beach in winter time watching the sunset over the gulf.

I am Canadian, my husband is American. I moved to the USA 11 years ago. I live in a liberal state (by American standards) with little violence (by American standards). I like where we live and enjoy most of the people that I interact with. I would move back to Canada in a heartbeat. I must confess that I felt like I stepped back in time 20 years when I moved here - labor standards in the US are so behind the rest of the world (maternity leave, paid time off, job protections, etc). To a Canadian, US culture feels accepting of racism, violence, us vs them mentalities, gun culture, religious and political fanaticism. I still can’t get over how “normal” Americans think their healthcare system is…. most other countries think it is absolutely nuts! I have good insurance, but if I ever develop a serious illness….I will move back to Canada where I can attempt to keep my health AND still have a house to live in. On the surface, Americans and Canadians look alike - but I still feel the cultural differences every day. I’m sure that America feels safe and wonderful to Americans who grew up here - but it can be difficult for people who grew up with different values to agree that these things make America “great”.

I live in Toronto and I am not rich. I am regular person. \nIf you are an immigrant and especially if you are considered from visible minority group aka not white, DO NOT leave Toronto at all ! Work hard and make it work for you. I am sure the majority people from your coutires in Canada are located in Toronto and its close cities. If you chose to live outside this multicultural heaven called Toronto then expect to deal with deep racism. Yes people in Canada are rasicst althogh it is not openly like USA.\nIf you are into education and you want to do your degree, move to Montreal. Tuition fees in Montreal are way more cheaper than in Toronto or other parts of Canada. I lived in Montreal before and I went to university there. Montreal is great for education, aba rent are cheaper than Toronto but not for living there if you are visible immigrant. You will never feel you belong down there. Where as in Toronto, you will feel you belong to it within 30 mins max of you arruval. Toronto's motto are : you belong here and we have been waiting for you.\n62%of people in Toronto weren't born in Canada. You will find your community from your country in Toronto and the people are well established. I have been in different cities in Canada and I always felt stranger, even cities as close as ashawa.\nIn conclusion I would say to the visible minority immigrants stay in Toronto as much as you can for work and if you want to study in university go to Montreal. There are two major English universities in Montreal :Concordia university and McGill university, where McGill is one of top 10 university in the world.\n\nFor you Alina, I understand what you are saying and you can go somewhere in Canada and try it out with no racial or inclusiveness issues. The issue is Canada is being too selective with the countries they are taking from ( only two India and china), but it's racist to say that, the two countries with the most people in the world.... would overlap the amount of Canadians in the country with only sending like 2% of their population.... why are we immigrating a unlimited amount of people from countries that can over right our populations 1000x over. So all the other countries and cultures who want to have their families come to Canada will be pushed back over selective immigration. \n\nIf you wondered why Jagmeet buckled under the great ruler... i would argue this is why. This is reality not racism. Hard working 1st gen immigrants, or Fully born Canadian Indians that i know struggle, because this country didn't allow them to settle in with all their hard work, because they kept the door open and kept letting people in without making sure the economy can handle it

As a Canadian there looks like some great places to visit in the USA but i would never move to the US. The biggest issue in the US is Gun violence, there attachment to guns. Number two is health care, number three is weather volatility and more adverse weather conditions. Instead of one main government the US seems to have two which prevents any real change for the better. Money controls more government and political decisions than even in Canada which is already bad enough. The NRA controls more government and policing. They are seen as the bigger risk to American safety and security. I believe many Canadians believe the NRA are on the cusp of being the largest domestic terrorist organization and closure to a major cartel. Not even the military could control the NRA if the US decided to enforce new laws that the NRA felt would effect their financial, political or perceived control in the US. This is a big reason Canadians may not want to move to the US. To think there is a private military ready to go to war against their own people in the drop of a hat, reminding North Americans of the war between the North and South. There are beautiful places to see in the US, there are hard working and brave people in the US and i am sure there are more good people than bad but those with power, control and weapons have the great degree of balance. The US has a lot to be proud of and still so much possibility and ability to grow if it were not for those with the majority of power that is not being used for good or in the best interest of the majority of US citizens. Love the architecture and old districts and those trying to preserve the environment, farms, seed diversity and best of what made the US great.

As Canadian citizen, hell no I will never move to US. A lot of Canadians would say same thing and I'm sure a lot of people in other democratic countries would say this too. US was a really good and great place to live in the past, but each year it becomes worst. Have you already heard about the decline of American Empire? That's happening now and it could be more dramatic at next elections!

Americans are in the crapper. Many of us live on the streets. We need to be more like Japan as to border policy, and treat us first. I don’t know why it’s a big deal, many other countries have the same border policy. America isn’t inconsiderate for having them, it’s just the government already doesn’t help us live. They already take our money and force us on streets. If more immigrants came in, none of us would have a home. Economy would skyrocket greatly but in the wrong ways. More crime because I’m sure there are immigrants who really need help, but among them are also the ones who don’t follow laws. Which is why we have legal immigration, to weed out the criminals from people who need salvation.

Been to USA several times. NYC,Florida,Boston, Virginia (includingDC) Houston, Michigan and LA. Never really had a bad experience except at 6 Flags in Springfield. The teens would walk 6 or 7 abreast and literally run you down. I finally said to my wife we need to stop thinking like Canadians and stand our ground . It worked. My son was 17 at the time and at the end night show was amazed by the rabid cheering as all the branches of the military were named. We always carried extra insurance. Overall We found the people to be really friendly and interested in where we were from. The comment on Nova Scotia was usually “oh wow”. Not sure if they thought we were from the ends of the earth or had no Idea where it was. No i would not live there but the USA is full-of really nice people and it’s a great place to visit.

America is a beautiful country to look at, and I'm sure there are lots of beautiful people, but the arrogance of some of them is mind blowing. I recently watched the news footage of 911, I cried all the way through that, first out of compassion and next out of frustration. When people were jumping out of those towers, George Dubya was making a statement that terrorism would not stand in America. What did he think was standing in his face. The terrorists won that day. Then when they got Bin Laden He stands up and says we got him . Big deal you got one person , when there are dozens to take his place. No mention of other countries that helped them. , they have taken full credit for every war that ever happened. They wonder why the rest of the world hates that country. The sad thing is that 911 didn't teach them a thing. They brag about how they lost 3000 people and other countries only lost a few to terrorism. How sad that they think that way. You had a great president in Obama, but you have that 2 term rule and have been going downhill ever since. And our Canada's Prime minister is certainly nothing to be proud of. Politically he's no threat to anybody, but his own country. Mostly he is an immoral threat to his own country. But that's another vent for another day. I still pray every day for the world and that includes America, but I can't imagine what it will take to break them of that arrogance.

We left Canada at the end of 2021 and for some of same reasons he mentions .we are retired so not quiet the same I would point out something in defence of the province we called home for 40 yrs that I think deserves a mention . Yes winters are long and cold as anyone living in Vancouver are always happy to talk about .but it has always been a great place for young ppl to get ahead financially or it was until Trudeau got in . I'm sure that'll change before too long . Just my ten cents worth
