Hahaha I was born and raised in Brampton from birth in 1996-2020, and I still live in the general area (the GTA). VERY interested to see this video. Bramladesh sure has changed a lot in the last 30 years.

the old indian guy saying newcomers should assimilate is so true. Like it's genuinely scary. Of course canada is not like the US and we don't have ICE (thank god) but it's still scary. The violent crime has been skyrocketing. Guns are becoming more common. Sexual Assaults are increasing.. It's a lot of third-world violence and ideals being brought here.

I noticed a lot of these people move to the US and Canada and other countries to get away from their own people and then here they come. A lot of them don't like it or they would have stayed in their own country They are making the US and other countries and to their country They're bringing their same s***** ways to other people's country and cultures and I cannot believe the US and other countries are okay with this It's not just the Indians It's a Arabs the Mexicans the Asians Everybody leaves their country to come to better countries and still do the same s*** It's just crazy to me They should have stayed at home These people are nasty inside and out. 🤔🤨😔😷🤢🤮😡 And we know that white dude is just straight racist. Poor white trash. 👹

They have whole continents and ethnic nations for themselves. Now, we have little, mere, scant slivers of erable land while the rest of the world's nations still have plenty of land, except for those whom have already overpopulated themselves. While actual canadians have no opportunities and means to make products and services and compete in the marketplace for our people. Nobody seems to give a care about french and british isles canadians who built this country. Most of everyone else just moved in and out of those many just came for the government benefits and perks, and also the fact they could move their whole family and acquaintances. Let's be honest. A lot of people born here are descendants of scammers and grifters of the canadian system in some way. At this point, I think we should criticize all the various groups that have come here en masse. Most of the MPs have no spine. You can still have a liberal policy and still end immigration. It's the elephant in the room. End immigration and subsequent benefits and family unification policies.

It all boils down to how the Indians are raised in their own country. They are raised with the individual mentality. Do for yourself, and to hell with the others. Leave it for someone else to take care of. This is why their country is one of the dirtiest in all the world. They use the streets as a garbage can or toilet, then just leave it for someone else to clean it up. But, when everyone is raised with this attitude, there's no one left to clean it up. In India, they have the "untouchables". Yes, the caste system is still operating in India, although it's not recognized by the government. It's the untouchables that are supposed to clean up all the trash and feces off the streets, but they never do. They don't get paid to do it. This is why their trash clean up is so poor as far as having trucks go around and pick it up to take to a landfill. There are very few untouchables and the other people won't work for the trash pick up companies, because they feel it's beneath them. So, they trash their country and instead of cleaning it up, they move to another country to trash it. My brother used to be a truck driver for many years. Every time he saw a truck rolled over on it's side, he'd say "Must have been an Indian", because every rolled over truck he ever saw was driven by someone from India. If you look at videos of the traffic in India, you will see lot of trucks rolled over, and you'll see no one pay attention to stop lights, stop signs and everyone just cuts off everyone. This is the individual idea. I have to get somewhere, so I will cut you off to get there. It's always "Me, me, me". This attitude causes so many wrecks. Westerners have a hard time driving in India because we are all raised with everyone in mind, not just ourselves. We are a community, not an individual. We need to put a big wall around India and stop all airplanes going in and out, so they don't spread their diseased ideals of life and end up ruining another country. Do you know why India doesn't really take military training very seriously? Because no other country wants to invade and have to deal with the clean up. At this point, it's just about impossible to ever clean that country up.

I used to go to high school there 10 years ago. it used to be a very pretty place, as far as urban places go. Back then it was called an Indian ghetto too, (despite the fact we still had a lot of whites and blacks in the area) but I dont dare imagine what it looks like now.

as a pakistani muslim highschooler living in brampton who lived in edmonton for half my life, we have so many issues in brampton, shit drivers, healthcare issues, racism, serious risk to life and property in the rise of crime, but not everything is shit, a lot of punjabis here are actually great ppl, but there are lots of bad apples that make life in brampton sub par. if you talk to the right ppl and be in the right eviroments, brampton is okay..... still prefer edmonton.

Where I'm from, we have a decent size Indian population. But we get a lot of the tech guys or doctors and stuff. They're nice for the most part, but some act like they're better than everybody. I think it's possibly remnants of living with a caste system, even though it was supposedly banned I think it's still a big part of their culture.

Lot of Sikhs in Yuba City, California. Decades long student of Sanskrit, including the Ramayana and I still don't get the Religion? And not sure I want to. Indians are very thrifty and adaptable in the diaspora. A romanticized, mythologically exaggerated view of the homeland can lead to problems.

I worked with a lot of refugees and asylum seekers. They are generally allowed to work hwhilst waiting on their claim to be processed. My experience was they are very hard working, smart and ambitious. Not settling for just collecting welfare or hwhat-not. They are net contributors to Canadian society. Fortunately, the ones I knew had their claims approved. But hwhat if they didn't? hWhat if they lied/exaggerated about the persecution back home. They're still productive members of society. hWhy send em back? Better yet: Don't make em lie in the first place! Let them live and work here indefinitely just because they want to.

I still see streets are full of people and especially Toronto and lots of food delivery drivers so it is a lie and I don't believe it.

To be here as a citizen today, I had to pay CAD$35.000 for a two years program in Toronto. But to get the study visa I had to prove a lot of things, including money, proof that I had paid the college (at least 1st year), English, a Bachelor degree (education), a clear criminal history, and what attach me to my country. I had to study hard, and only after graduation I could have 3y work permit. By working in Canada I could get more point to become a permanent resident. After 2y having my PR, I could get the citizenship, but I had to prove I pay taxes, clear criminal history, and other things that show I would be a good citizen. So, I worked (and still work) hard, I am currently in two jobs and at school taking my masters, I respect the laws, I respect the culture (I never tried to impose mine), and I pay over CAD$10.000 in taxes per year on my income. That said, I feel as a slap on my face when fraudulent and dishonest people are able to be here cheating the system in any way. Some people may say I am an immigrant against immigration. NO, I am in favor of people taking the right path to immigrate, and make real contributions for this country, not coming to be scammers and criminals.

I felt compelled to write this. I appreciate you getting both sides and also asking some "hard" hitting questions that would mostly be seen as a rhetorical with a lot of people who have a distaste for Indians (You pay international student tuition, complain about it, why are you here in the first place?). However I really appreciate that you do show the beautiful side of a community just trying to keep each other safe and well fed, while unfortunately it's a bit more explicit in the Western world that we tend to be more 'figure it out by yourself. Life yourself by your bootstraps' type of mentality. There is an immigration issue, specifically a resesntement feeling within the country, but it's still important to humanize people and communities.

So I reside in Ontario, I live in a city they call the armpit of Ontario. And everytime I come to this restaurant (I dont want to say what restaurant but if u ask id tell you) - I would see a lot of them coming in by groups and they wear clothes like they still live back to whatever country they are from and would sit on their chairs cross legged as other people eat their food. Every hour theres dozens of them coming and I came to think are these people even legally here. It is just crazy to me as a legal immigrant where me and my family waited for 8 years for the application process, spent hundreds of thousands of money meanwhile I see people that arent from here and not even try to assimilate to Canadian culture. It is just infuriating.

I live in Brampton, i am all for diversity but where is the diversity if everyone is Indian. I am French originally and i am in a minority of one! Let's be clear, the massive Indian increase in the population is due to Trudeau's immigration policy, the indians did not jump over the border as some of the comments suggest, they mostly came here legally, and this was done without broad agreement of the Canadian population as a whole. Canadian population went from being 30 million inhabitants to 40 millions in just over a decade, a massive population increase in a short time due mostly to Indian immigration with huge impact on housing , cost of housing, infrastructure, jobs, taxes, etc... The liberals have a lot to answer for the disaster which Canada has become in the last 10 years and yes they got rid off Trudeau, but they are still in power, stiffling the potential economic growth of Canada which should be a rich country instead of being a country where many people live from pay cheques to pay cheques.

See I'm conflicted now actually. So you're saying these Indian communities are providing free resources at large scales for food and hospitality that aren't being taken advantage of by the homeless and impoverished white population? I'm not sure where the problem starts here.. because to be quite honest the rest of the country isn't necessiraly like this. Places like Hamilton and Toronto are incredibly mixed, where I'm not sure there is a minority, and places such as Welland, st Catherine's, Niagara, Langley, are still largely white. At what point do we look at people who are choosing to live on the streets and do drugs and say they are not taking advantage of the resources and opportunities being provided to them? And Brampton has been this way, to be honest, for 20 years. At what point do we accept that this is now Brampton, and that the country offers a lot of diversity for those who would choose to not live in it.

Grew up in Brampton from age 5-10, half a decade of being a kid in such an open suburb area. Many neighbourhoods now we're farmlands and empty lots. The Indian population was just starting to boom, as I thought would all other ethnicities. Regardless of the changes of demographics, Brampton is still such a beautiful city, just taken over by overpopulation at a fast pace. We do not complain, but as a Country we should consider the rate of growth as a positive but also has many negatives. Finding jobs in Brampton is nearly impossible as a young adult - and also looking for new homes with landlords that aren't of Indian descent is becoming a rare occurrence. Changes can be made to benefit both Canadians and Indians as we are known for accepting all cultures, that is what I love about Canada. It is a sight to see when you witness the Indian culture in Brampton, lets not take that away!

This is why I desperately wish there was an actual Libertarian party to vote for in elections! There is a party, but they have not gotten enough signatures to be able to run yet, I don't even know if there is an office or representative in Ontario right now! I wish! Their policies (on paper) seem great, and geared more towards a 'Canada first'/'Canadians First' approach. They touch on a lot of topics and there seem to be a lot of things they want to change! But a government is still a government, they will be motivated by money regardless of any good intentions they may have. So if and when things change, WE NEED TO HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE! We as the citizens have the power to change things for the better! It's just unfortunate that I see so many people getting pushed down or ignored or hated because they are speaking their mind. Remember, Canada dosen't have laws like the US, our freedoms aren't as protected nor do we have the same freedoms they do (like owning and protecting your own property, or self defense!) We as people need to start being honest and expressing things instead of being terrified of the backlash (of which there will be in these times). The only way we can make progress is by deciding to get out of our comfort zones and standing for what is right! For the freedoms and protections we deserve! To make a future worth living for us and our children! It will not be easy, but when is change ever easy? I hope that one day I won't be terrified of the thought of bringing a life into this world and country. I hope I can be stable enough to be able to give my future children a decent life. But right now? I would never want to have children, things are too unstable and I don't want to bring a child into this country and force them to live a terrible life they never asked for! I desperately want to be able to keep hoping for a better future, a better country, and people who can enjoy their lives instead of constantly worrying and stressing about everything. I hope some can consider looking into the Libertarian party as well! They may be small right now, but they seem to be wanting to right the wrongs that have occured.

canadians have been conditioned to be mediocre and yet we have produced some of the greatest contributions to science, and human rights, olympic records and hollywood stars a lot of the world comes in third place when it comes to food production and still thats not enough for us and if you want to be famous you have to get that surgically inserted in the states no matter how funny or how good an actor you are.

I worked since I was 14, (A lot of times evenings and weekends, several times, two jobs)! I am now 63, I got hurt at work! First I had to fight compensation for a year, ZERO $$$! Then I had to apply to get Disability Canada Pension because I can't physically work anymore.. (damaged back, head injury, I have to use a cane and knee braces to walk)! I spent my savings just surviving while being forced to fight for MY money from my own government for 5 years just to get a measly $300. a month! THAT'S IT! Luckily my spouse works , we paid off our house ten years ago! But, we still barely get by! Every person I speak to about my case with the government on the phone, can barely speak English and yell at me or are VERY impatient with me, because I can't understand THEM, they usually hang up! When I ask to please speak to someone IN Canada, they hang up, then I have to wait another hour to talk to someone else! (I went to 4 government funded agencies to see if I could possibly get a job working from home, because I have trouble getting out! All sent me somewhere else! One agency who is supposed to help disabled people in WPG, REES, the agent refused to talk to me or look me in the eye, * he got a supervisor to talk to me! Because he's Muslim and I'm Gay! They were continuously hostile/aggressive towards me without reason??? I volunteer at 2 different food banks , I've met TONS of people who have never worked a day in their lives, their family, parents, grandparents have never worked... EVER! Yet they have brand new trucks??? Still go to food banks? AND, several new Canadians who I've met, have never worked a day in Canada... Some with new cars??? Yet everyone else receives 10 times what I receive to live on??? I PAID TAXES ALL OF MY LIFE! We can't afford a car! Yet... I don't blame them! I would take it they offered! I blame our government (NDP, Libs, AND CONservatives) who don't give a crap about disabled and seniors in Canada! Or if you paid taxes all of your life , into a system that's supposed to help when you need it! ALL politicians in Canada just whore out their votes! I've volunteered for almost 40 years, also holding down jobs, helping others, I've never seen so may seniors and disabled people forced to access food banks and soup kitchens than the last few years! EVER! Disabled people have to constantly prove they are disabled enough to get kitchen scraps from sociopathic politicians who are over paid and under worked! Fees go up, taxes go up, housing goes up, property taxes go up, bus fairs go up, etc.. Services go WAY down! We can afford trillion$ in corporate welfare, but not help our own? Seniors can't afford to live in their homes anymore! YOU'RE WELCOME for paying for YOUR golden pensions pig politicians, and NOT helping us when we need it! POS!

The only reason you can use the term Immigrant is because the govt issued visas. But that being said the govt fast tracked the usual immigrant process which takes months to years. So in actuality this is not legitimate immigrants. It's unlawful what the govt has done and therefore these people are immigrants under cover of law. Or color of law. It's defacto. I call them illegal migrants. Most are not doctors or engineers or trades people even. Most are young men from 19 to their 30's. But they had to pass through cartel territory. They had to pay the cartels a fee or die or be raped or both. Yes it's brutal some things but apparently before Obama left office he signed an international agreement to import people globally from mostly Islamic countries and create open borders. We see Chinese, and many people from different parts of South America and even Africa crossing to the US. A lot of whom end up in Canada. So before they cross into the US they toss their IDs Especially if they are from countries that are flagged by the US as questionable or terrorist possibilities. So this leads to a lot coming to Canada. I'm sure you heard of Roxham Rd crossing? It's officially closed but people still cross into Canada from the US going through there. There's also piles of IDs at that border crossing also. Anyways these open border policies has cut out in depth screening so we really don't know who is in Canada as true asylum seekers or immigrants. To add to this complexity, over 300,000 Canadian travel documents have been stolen from CBSA Canadian Border Services Agency. 280,000 of those were blank Canadian passports. SO we really don't know who's walking on Canadian soil. This was confirmed by Luc Sabourin a former CBSA agent. i know Trudeau gets a lot of crap from people, but my god this was a hell of a speech. same with Bernie Sanders' speech. i got goosebumps and also trying to fight back tears simultaneously. my ex wife is disabled receiving social security, medicare, and medicaid due to being in a wheelchair and requiring consistent medical care and attention. she receives, and is expected to survive on, $800 a month and $300 in foodstamps. she lives in campgrounds which is 90% cheaper than rent, and still has to budget, struggle and go without a lot to make life work all while being in tremendous pain and reliant on help from others. Trump, Elon, and all the other billionaires in charge are literally trying to make the ones suffering the most to suffer more while making them even richer. its absolutely disgusting how soulless these CEOs are. the world is ashamed of us and frankly if you are American and not ashamed and embarrassed by what these billionaires are doing with our relationship to not only our country but the entire world....then you arent a patriot, you are a cult follower, and you are part of the problem.

Trudeau is the epitome of western society's moral decay, under his leadership Canada has become a radical third world country, from gay marriage to state sponsored marihuana, to state sponsored gambling that floods the country. As a result, Canada today is the bedrock and safe haven for criminals, while ordinary Canadian people's lives continually decline, especially the working class who are struggling yet still cannot make ends meet. A lot of Canadians either have moved to the US, or they would like for Canada to be part of the US so that they have some hope. I am sorry for the Canadian people but have no sympathy for Trudeau.

I have been all over Canada, and i will say they are polite, kind, funny, great people. I'm from Montana, and we have always had so much in common. Americans ARE NOT in favor of the way our president, vice president, and the figure cloaked in darkness, ARE BEHAVING. You need to realize what Trump's real agenda is. All he really wants is money. He wants to make himself and his rich buddies richer. His plan to do that is to cut government spending radically, and impose a sales tax to fleece American consumers. Once he's got the cash flow the way he wants, he will cut corporate tax and capital gains tax so that his companies and his investments can make a lot more money and so can his rich buddies, while still being able to pay off his lackeys in the senate and congress. They didn’t like it. They decided to do an ultrasound. And still, they found areas that they were not happy with. So within another week, they did two biopsies. And they came back as cancer cells that had not gotten together yet to create a tumor. So it’s called stage zero cancer. Within two weeks I was in surgery where they took out everything they needed to and I was told that I have good margins. I then had six weeks of radiation. Five days a week for six weeks.\n\nSo about nine months after that and that healing, I had a referral to a plastic surgeon. She reduced my other breast so that I was even. That was about eight months ago. And this week I had a further reduction, call it a fine-tuning, to further ensure that I was even.\n\nThis was all done in Montreal Quebec Canada. \nI paid zero dollars, except a few times I may have paid six bucks for parking. \n\nI am cancer free.
