Do not muddy the issue by terms like Racism, Genocide, Fairness, Persecution etc. All TEMPORARY holders must be traced and made to leave the country. In this digital age, comments by the various government agencies (IRCC, CBSA etc.) not being able to track the illegals is a lame excuse.

like the person who comes under a student visa, is here for months or years, and then when it comes time for them to go home, they make an asylum claim? If a claim is not made the minute they cross the border, they are totally bogus.

I feel this video does cover what's happening but don't answer the question why its happening. Here's what i think- To start with - A major population of indian immigrants in Canada come from two provinces/states - Punjab and Gujarat. From Punjab - Most of the population who migrates to Canada are villagers. They are notoriously famous in Punjab cities as well for creating trouble. They have no civic sense, always getting involved in illegal stuff, some use drugs, no etiquettes, poor hygiene and very arrogant sometimes. Another thing, Canadian government over the years stopped taking in-person interviews and got lenient with rules for gaining a visa especially for students which doesn't make sense and one should be catious so of what kind of people they are letting in their country. This leads to letting in a bunch of wrong people who are already a troublemaker in Punjab and then represents a bad of side of Indians. A side note - Every Indian province is very very different and not all people are same in India. It's definitely a shit situation which shows Canadian government definitely needed a better way to handle immigration. A lot of international students has been exploited by the system as well if you get to know from there point of view as well. Seeing the thumbnail and title of this video shows what kind of a person Tyler is. Without a proper research and understanding, he just made a video to appease people who hates on Indians. Title says Invasion, is he for real? I see way more Chinese immigrants here in Canada than any other nationality. Punjabi Indians are to be blamed as for creating a bad picture for themselves but hating on whole country without knowing them feels prejudiced. I hope whoever is reading to really open their eyes and understands that this is a government failure for not having strict rules and regulations. Indians have been immigrating to Canada for more than 100 years but you see them as a problem now due to last 8 years of bad decisions. Last thing, you see more Indians in Tim Hortons and mock them, is that a bad thing on loving and supporting a Canadian brand? Definitely poor english speaking employees is a problem, but that is a management issue. You don't like it, have a word with the Manager if they don't act on it, then I guess they don't really care for your opinion. Its on you now whether you want your coffee or better english 😂

People complaining do not acknowledge that Canada created a corrupt system where educational institutions made money from foreign students, foreign students in return were happy as long as they got to work. At least they are willing to work and pay taxes. In fact, we should look at the root cause of these problems. It is the colleges making money off these immigrants, it is the corporations who do not want to pay decent living wages to Canadians so they are hiring these immigrants at minimum wage jobs. This is called capitalism where the corporate has to save as much money as possible for their shareholders. So yes immigration is a huge problem but immigrants alone are not at fault. The fault lies with the government (federal, provincial and municipal) and the corporate entities in Canada as well.

This is a disaster of a video, poor and wrong info. Its a poorly made video. Quebec controls its own immigration, and it has different target amounts and is slight different from the rest of Canada They don't explain that there are two different programs. one for students one for temporary workers (very new and is being phased out and going back to being a mostly agricultural temp worker program) and one for everyone else. the text showed said the girl is a temporary worker when they also said she came as a student and graduated, and was working after graduation as part of the permit. Also Quebec has its is own immigration programs that are slightly different from the rest of Canada

They live in Brampton and commute everywhere in the GTHA and beyond. Their presence isn’t actually a problem, but their behaviour has made their presence a problem. That white man in front of Tim hortons is a lil ignorant tho, intelligence may be an issue but I’d say the bigger issue is customer service , communication, understanding and laziness. Cannot be bothered to do their job correctly or maintain a comprehension level higher than a kindergarten student. It’s soooooo problematic.

I’m a proud Indian who is now a Canadian citizen, and I’ve made a conscious effort to assimilate into Canadian culture and values. What bothers me is how this conversation has been reduced to blaming one group. The reality is that the Canadian government failed first by not properly managing immigration volumes, not enforcing document verification, and not honestly assessing whether the country could support such rapid population growth. That policy failure created pressure on housing, jobs, and social systems long before resentment followed. We also need honesty within the Indian community. Some Indians struggle to adapt being overly loud, culturally rigid, and sometimes lacking empathy for Canadian norms and shared public spaces. I studied Canadian and Indigenous history in school, and respecting that history matters. Assimilation doesn’t mean abandoning your culture, but it does mean understanding and respecting the society you chose to join. Cultural education should be expected, not optional. That said, one Indian doing something wrong does not make all Indians bad. Most Indian students and workers I know are hardworking, punctual, and serious about contributing. I’ve personally worked minimum-wage jobs for years, and what I noticed was not jobs being “taken,” but fewer Canadian youth willing to stay in or commit to these roles long-term. Indians didn’t replace Canadians, they filled vacancies that already existed. I also briefly volunteered helping the homeless, and what I saw was honestly shocking. It’s not that the government isn’t trying to help there are rehabilitation programs and support systems in place. The difficult truth is that a significant portion of the homeless population struggles with substance abuse and refuses treatment because it requires giving up drugs. Over time, homelessness itself starts to function like a culture, where benefits and assistance unintentionally enable continued substance use rather than recovery. This is an uncomfortable reality people don’t like to talk about. None of this is simple. Immigration didn’t break Canada, and neither did one community. Poor policy, weak enforcement, lack of accountability, and refusal from governments and individuals to adapt responsibly is what brought us here. Blame is easy. Honest solutions are not.

It's worse than this video shows. I don't live in Brampton and my town is entirely * after 10 years. Everywhere I go is * people. It doesn't matter what store or business or service I contact it's just * people now. When I went to college everyone was from there. This was a regular local college that Canadian kids aspire to go to. They made up 90% of the classmates, they never showed up to class, they refused to participate in team projects, nobody failed. They did so poorly but the school charges 3x. My final year they cancelled final exams because they decided too many international students would fail. They are from the same country but they have different religions and from different cities that hate each other so they would refuse to communicate with each other. Imagine you meet someone from another province and you hate them and aren't afraid to crashout in public over it. My next door neighbors there is so many people living in the house that they live there on a schedule one group in and one group out. You would think they would be going to work NO they literally hang out all day long like a bad 90s comedy movie. In the last 10 years all of the house in my town skyrocketed in price. The people around me all bought around 2010 - 2015 for $150k - $260k and sold for around $1m 2023 - 2026. Average house price in my town has stayed at 3x what it was 10 - 15 years ago. They don't rake their leaves, they don't clean up their trash, they don't clear their snow from their driveways. Both my parents are immigrants, they came here poor had to work, had to respect the country and its laws and culture because that's what allowed Canada to be successful so they could come here. All I hear about or see now is immigrants from the one country? When I was a kid I grew up with every nationality where did everybody go?

As a Canadian, thank you for making this. I hope it’s clear to everyone how, while good people, the majority of interviewees in this video are taking advantage of our country because we’re “nice” and they aren’t able to sort things out in their own. The majority of these people aren’t highly educated and came in on student visas and you’ve got to wonder why our government allowed this. It’s made a lot of things worse for people who lived here already, including immigrants. No racism just frustration.

I don't ever venture into Brampton anymore, as I don't do service calls or work as a mechanic. I basically got told, without being told they wanted a more diverse field of technicians. Over 12 years of work trying to get my mechanics license and I'm out. Guys can't even diagnose a ground on a vehicle, yet they can get the Red Seal license cause the "translator" gave them all the answers on the test. Lots of them coming over on student visas just to drop out or not go to school completely and take up basic minimum wage jobs from the actual tax payers of our Great? nation. The truck driving is also insane up north, past Thunder Bay. Trucks in ditches every 30-50 km's. Wheels coming off of trucks, turning around on the 2 lane highway in the middle of no where and gets the truck stuck cause they wanted to do a U-turn at 3am on blind corners. We driving our 3/4 ton work trucks have to pass our exits all the time cause they have their feet on the dash tailgating you. 90% of the ones that have come over, have made Canada a worse place to work/live.

Hey! Im a sikh that was born in canada, with my parents, grand father, great grand father also being in this beutiful country. I wanted to start of by saying a couple of things. My home was in brampton for a long time and I have personally seen the safety gone down, my family used to come back from trips with our garage open and everything would be completely fine. The long term sikhs and indians came and actually contributing positively and that can be seen with how good canada was pre 2020. Immigration too an extent was good, but mass immigration was never a good idea. In 2018-2019 the old time punjabi community was heavily against so many students coming in, so much so people that were indian had "no students" signs when renting their basements. It's sad to see people that came here running things so badly and ruining the effort and contributions made by many(I even face the consqeunces of things I have never done). Remeber don't be afraid to call out people for their bullshit, but also dont bash innocent people. Now many ppl came to canada and have done good like sikhs having the highest donors of blood, plasma, and platelets. We also giveway a lot in charity and food. A good news is Canada is cracking down on these bad people and quickly, and many good people who came are returning back home. I have seen a lot of videos online, but please remember algorithms and pushed media make things seem worse than they actually are. Great start. 64% decrease in foreign students is a huge cut and definitely needed. Middle class tax cut is a step in the right direction and the $10 NSF fee is actually a huge underrated change. I’ll admit I’ve been in the situation where I forgot which day my bill is coming out and didn’t have my bank account prepared accordingly. Getting slapped with $50+ NSF fees just made it even worse. Nice to see a cap on that now as I felt like companies were abusing it.

Well Canada needs something ICE. I made sure to arrive here with PR, I had the requirement etc. I didnt use fake student visa and then expect to stay. These people do not add anything to society if they are not honest members of it.

The problem is immigration back in day was a luxury in India so only riches made it outside and they were rich compared to others after independence because they were more pro british and served them. So it was easy for them to immigrate and assimilate into your culture. Now you see many poor people also immigrating because immigration became more accessible, its just like the touchscreen phones, before only rich people had them, but later and now everyone has it. Plus your overly liberal and the stupid point system lets anyone enter the country if they meet a specific criteria, they barely check their english, background, crime record, etc. Also, living in India is a survival, or a nightmare for short. Especially for the poor people in the up north, and so they go to these shady agents who claim that they can send him or her to Canada, UK, Australia where ever they want in exchange for some money. Sometimes these agents turnout to be scams and sometimes not, then these students apply to some fake university that has no campus in Canada and select a course thats easy. Then once approved they come to canada, don’t go to university and make some other indian friends who say they have contacts with some job providers and through that the students get their jobs at the fast food joints and shopping malls. The mindset with which these students come to Canada is that I want to get a simple job as soon as I land in Canada and through that job I can get a PR. They never go to assimilate or discover the culture, they come because the country looks nice, has resources, and will provide them with a good salary so that they send some money back home to their parents as compared to low paying jobs in India, which too are super competitive. They still like the indian way of life, the culture, the food, the attire, just not in India. Thats why you’ll never see these students eating at anything other than a Indian Punjabi Restaurant or a fast food joint, they will never make white friends, they will never try to change the way they speak and look at Canadians, they will never try to change their driving habits. In conclusion, more poor people and students migrating, paired with their mindset of “I want everything to be Indian just not in India but in a place that looks better” paired with their low interest in actually learning and working better jobs is what makes them a bad immigrant group. But thats not to say that all are like that its only some and mostly Punjabis/ other North Indians that have this mindset. The reason why the Indian group in USA is much better and successful is because they are mostly of south indian descent. Those people are far more educated, actually respect the law of the land. And fun fact: The stereotypical Indian Accent originated from USA mainly and reason why many indians say that they don’t speak in that accent is because that particular stereotypical accent is present in Indian people who come from the states of Andra Pradesh and Telegana, which is is where most of the Indians in USA are actually from. There is a clear lie in that video. Nobody is in Limbo. Mind you there is normal Federal Express entry program still happening. Meaning, that if you get selected through that program, you can immigrate to any province of your choice - including Quebec. You can also still get bonus points for Canadian education (Quebec education does count) and Canadian work experience (if it qualifies). So the only thing that happened was, that one provincial nomination program was ended, that is all that happened. The practical problem is, that provincial nomination does give so many points, that it is a guarantee of normal express entry pull as long as you just meet criteria to enter Express entry. So provincial nominations are suitable for people that might be otherwise struggling with points (older age, less language perfection, les bonus points from education or work experience). For a disclaimer, provincial programs are based on a specific province needs and just because one was opened when you planned to go and study or work in Canada, it does not mean it will be like that forever. If an agent made you such promise, then he was misleading you. Again for those people demonstrating, nothing has changed for them other than one future option was gone. They still have their student or work permit until it expires. They also can apply into Express entry program as normal. On a side note for Canadian trying to cheer about this, be aware, such change can also mean that economy projection for next few years is not the best. so take it a warning sign. Or if we are lucky, it was found that this program was not bringing intended type of skilled worker or was heavily abused.

I lived in Malton in the 1980s when the Sikhs arrived. We were naive in our approach to these newcomers. They bought homes and filled them with up to 25 people breaking property standards. They bought the local school and filled the classrooms with cots for new arrivals. Nothing was monitored. Local police worked tirelessly dealing with cultural differences. They demanded rights! I was refused service in one of their stores. Crime went up by 27%, and research revealed that 7% of students in Mississauga were psychopaths from exposure to war and violence! Then, an Indian friend told me that after Ghandi's daughter's assassination, they went from one village after another, robbing and killing in order to get out of India. Thus, the $5000 cookie jar reference. His car was stolen. Working at the birth registry office, he observed they changed their identity and falsified documents. My 13 year old daughter was thrown up against a wall, and a ceremonial knife was put to her throat. Rapes were happening at the high school. I should have called the police many times, and I deeply regret not stopping this intrusion into our Canadian culture. Hazel, the mayor the time at least, stopped the construction of monster homes. I was made aware there are a significant number of Indian students who are applying for students visas, coming to Canada and then withdrawing from the university and flooding the workforce making it difficult for other immigrants from poorer countries to find work. .

I came as student in 2013 I am now Canadian from past 5 years. I just want to mention government is to blame for They earned so much money from international students. I studied with Ukrainian Chinese Mexican and Russian students . They weren't good in English as well But they all worked very hard and very dedicated. Initially it was difficult find job they asked young students for Canadian experience which obviously none of the students had Ircc is laziest department. Even college cares about fees only. Because if student leave the college they don't get back the fees. So they are absolutely fine with this kind of fraud. .and private college are worst among everything. Students doesn't have to attend college. The fraud is now they just gets degrees and some else studies for them. Canada is not corrupt but Canadian politicians to get votes made Canada curupted. IMO the big thing is that more housing and infrastructure need to be built to keep pace with people in an area - as housing standards are being violated - like 8 people living in an apartment is just extreme even for student housing. The crime rate dropped off massively we need to be careful about it increasing however more people equals more crime but equal or lower per capita crime rate. Poverty is always going to be poverty. The poverty issue is made worse because chornically unemployed pepole have seen their supports not keep up with inflation to the point its basically impossible to get housing on social safety net payments. This means that unemployed people basically end up homeless now. 7 m² per person for rooms with four or more occupants aged 18 or older. People should not just be packed into buildings that violate legal space and housing standards. The whole community IS government not a religious organization. This really frustrates me because the government should be insuring those standards are met not privatization of humanitarianism. Government should be humanitarian.

The schools took in billions and made the municipalities take on the burden of rental demands, cost of food and resources. Sue the schools for not providing housing! It's so paradoxical that the indians back in India and abroad are projecting different outlooks about immigration and assimilation. I think it's absurd. In recent India, they look down upon immigration in India and complain about the lack of assimilation of immigrants to the diverse Indian culture. But abroad in another country as immigrants they want to protect their culture and do not want to assimilate to that country's culture or way of life. 😅 The comments about equality of humans, non discrimination etc made me laugh so much.. I'm a proud Canadian Immigrant of Indian origin. I came here to do specialized studies in Game Development. I took my time, and studied 6 years as an international student, paying 3x the tuition, sank $200,000 of hard earned money into the Canadian Education system — Not as a fast track gimmick to immigrate, but so I could achieve my dream as a Game Developer. This money was family income, earned on 1/4th the salary, taking 4x longer to save. I was a great privileged to me. Today 15 years later, no one would ever think I'm from India. I sound Canadian, I behave Canadian, I have Canadian values, and I am Canadian. I came here because I loved Canada. I would watch hours upon hours of indigenous history, and on my Citizenship day, I watched Juno Beach to celebrate. However I must say this... I suffered through s*icidal depression here for 8 years, because I had far less leverage here than in a developing country, and it's really telling what sort of situation we're all in... Rent caps in Canada were removed... The housing market was open to foreign investors / and real estate monopolies with a 20% year-on-year rise... Rents went from 1000$ to 2100$ MINIMUM for a 1 bedroom through Trudeau's term and the govt said "It's not a federal responsibility"... Auto insurance is like 2.5-3.5k a year in Ontario and if you get a dent, you pay a deductable... I was quoted 8500$ for two wisdom teeth surgeries while it costed me 260$ abroad... During Covid - property owners, banks, and grocery stores exploited our misery and made record profits!... The govt stopped filtering through it's immigrants with "interviews", and it's operating like a scam — "Bring all your foreign money, convert it to CAD, and keep our GDP stable.. while we neither have the infrastructure, nor the job market to support these numbers". I think some accountability is due... these issues are "symptoms", not the problem — The problem is our Liberal govt / policies, and our wonderful voting body who voted Liberal term after term after term while complaining. Why does this govt safeguard extremism, foreign politics, foreign separatism? Khalistanis are as much of a threat / nuance to India than it is to Canada, but in Canada they actually have a unrestricted platform. Instead of resenting immigrants, we need to start resenting how mismanaged Canada is by our govt, and hold our voting body accountable. We had a chance to vote differently, but once again a repackaged and rebranded Liberal term. Because my ethnicity is Indian, I've become an object of collective resentment / hatred, and I don't think that's fair.. Please direct it at your vote, and govt level policies. Why should I (and other's like me) be crucified with the sins of other immigrants? It's like hating all your neighbors in a burning building, when the management has been lighting the fire.

Im tired of wanting to move out my apartment but i cant cuz foreigners are buying up property and jacking up rent prices. And yes i am a daughter of an immigrant. And i see student housing being built and the rent is cheap! My rent has gone up twice in 2 years. Nothing is available under 1300 unless you rent a room. Nobody can change my traditions because they are mine and dont affect anyone. Groceries are unreal. I dont have a car anymore. I dont have children or a partner. Social time or entertainment is this. Youtube and my 2 dogs one of which now needs a leg amputation as she has cancer in her paw. I have a gofundme but its slow. But i see other pet owners that have them and because they use their pet as their unpaid actor they have made the money needed in days. Im just offering paperwork,proof,photos,making beaded collars,to try and make more. Im trying to open my own business doing nails. But callbacks from offices are not happening. My mental health has suffered since I was 18. I am gen x. Being a minority doesnt mean i get whatever i want either.

That's simply not true: the goverment has acknowledged the problem, and that immigration has happened too fast. To make matters worse, this fellow then makes a dishonest claim himself. The 817,000 arrivals during the first three months of 2025, that he claims is not immigration, but a population bomb. He's not telling you that this figure is not reflective of people seeking to remain in Canada permanently. The figure includes student visas, work permit holders including work permit extensions: many of these people will benefit Canada and then go back to their countries. If you look at the FAR more relevant figures for actual population growth, they show that the population will grow MUCH more slowly in 2025 than it did in 2024. I'm disappointed that the person who made this video did not see fit to provide real context to all this anti-immigrant sentiment. Inflating the problem is dangerous. The economic hurt is real, but throwing into the mix completely misleading figures about how fast the population is growing only serves to weaponize the pain being felt from the economy, against immigrants. We can't have a lucid conversation about the problem and the solutions, if the medium is this non-existent standard for fact-checking. Channel owner, please do better.

I read a story about a guy a few years ago who came from India on a student Visa and planned on staying and therefore wanted to change the Canadian flag. He said he was appalled and felt as a migrant it was offensive because Canada and by extension its flag was part of the Commonwealth and Britain's imperialist history with India made the Canadian flag offensive. 😳 I probably don't have to tell you what kind of comments he got.

Let me cite a few below.\n\n1) In one of the Western countries, a few years ago, a real Punjabi brother and sister who staged fake a marriage, got a marriage certificate, and other documents only to migrate there. The government eventually found put and deported them.\n\n2) Canada deported a few hundred Gujarati students when the US border security found them not speaking in English. On investigation, it was found that they all came with fake IELTS certificate.\n\nThere are many incidents we get to witness the day after the day. So, we can't blame other countries. It's us who made us very cheap in the international market. Because of those Indians, the entire innocent, honest, and talented Indians community is affected.

The government should never have allowed international students to obtain work permits so easily. They should have been required to complete their studies, secure a job offer, and only then apply for a work permit. By allowing international students to get work permits immediately, bring their spouses, and provide work permits to them as well, they created challenges. Students should focus on studying first, graduating, and then finding a job—just as it used to be.\n\nThe government should create regulations requiring all publicly funded colleges and universities to cap the fees charged to international students. These institutions should only be allowed to charge a maximum of 15% to 25% above the fees for local students. Charging exorbitant amounts was essentially a form of robbery, exploiting international students with the false hope of permanent residency (PR), which is never guaranteed.

Most of the Indian students have fake CREDENTIALS made in India yet they have received Acceptance Letters abroad.\nJust like in India every thing is fake. Canada has 5 million Indians that are supposed to go home they came in either on a student visa or a work visa . All visas expire . Go home. You have made it so that no one wants you.

As someone who had to take the English assessment to attain the PGWP, I complained so much because I didn't come to Canada not knowing English, and I certainly did not graduate without the ability to read, write, listen and even present business cases in English. It pissed me off at the time cause he costs hundreds of dollars for something I was assessed on before even coming to the country. Did they really think my English got poorer after 3 years in the country? \n\nBut I totally get your point why its needed now with the way things are. However, in the long run, I think reforms should be made at the student visa level. Canadian and other international students who worked hard to get into uni don't need a deadweight that cant speak the official language of the university and contribute meaningfully. Forget contributing to Canadian society, would the student himself learn anything?

Many of these claims are unfounded. They are made by international students nearing the end of their educational term. We need to take a hard stand against this. It is not Canada's job to provide refuge for the entire world.
