Trump has been effective with the southern border, but we never hear about our (USA) northern border, which is 3 times the size of its southern counterpart and apparently recognized as the LONGEST International border IN the WORLD! Focusing too much on being anti-Trump is a strategic mistake for the Democrats. In order to win, you have to convince the average non-partisan person that you are seeking their best interest. Moral high grounding does not work. The current majority sentiment of the US population is that they want the government to prioritize the interest of the US first and foremost. Whether or not Trump is a bully to other countries when he tries to prioritize that interest is irrelevant to them.

As a Republican... I agree with many things our country needs, like tougher border security and a crackdown on the government. I do not agree with tariffs to Canada, especially them. They have always stood side by side with us. The American taxpayers will pay the tariffs. Globalization is to limit our opportunities. Trump needs to think it through.
