This is going to sound super cruel but in American its just as bad, over the last 8 years over 30 family owned businesses or small restaurants have been taken over and bought out by Indian people in my area alone, the food quality dips, quality in general dips, they're rude, they get mad if THEY mess up at you which is super disrespectful. I come from a Hispanic culture do be respectful to other human beings if you enter another person's country. Your laws no longer apply here and people who are foreign seem to think that is not the case. I hate seeing local grocery stores get bought out because nothing feels the same. Its not a community anymore its an infestation of rude, self centered obnoxious foreigners who treat everyone like crap because they're miserable. Many don't last because American's aren't going to go to a place that isn't really local anymore its not the same faces they're used to its a cheap old Indian man who is too lazy to fix anything and gets mad when you order too much and by too much like 4 things....

At this point, I'm over every culture. We have been conditioned in the West to think that we have no culture, we need to embrace, worship, and accept everyone else's culture. Really over it. We have built a beautiful way of life in the western world and we should work harder to preserve it. I've been to India. Although I like most Indians that come to our part of the world, WE DO NOT WANT OUR COUNTRY TURNING INTO INDIA (or any other country/culture for that matter). Many came and because of the housing shortage due to the red tape, people were sleeping on the street in front of the government offices! Its also colder then many people that have never experienced could even imagine! Then there starting from the bottom! A chip on there shoulder thinking the gov owes them and do whatever you can to get payed! Hence why there were so many car, jewlery store, liqure store thiefts and break & enters! The cops were literally telling people to keep there car keys near the door so the thiefs can take them with no altercation! I blame turdo and sean fraser! Fun fact, sean fraser was the immagration minister then got cabnet shuffled to housing minister during turdos terms, idk what he is now but i think hes still in cabnet. I try not to be racist but this failed experiment and just plain bad math/out of touch with reality cabinet ministers are litterally making people racist! Its too many, too fast, when there manipulating the housing market by red taping it so much nobody can get a shovel in the ground! The stupidity of the gov is insane! I worked since I was 14, (A lot of times evenings and weekends, several times, two jobs)! I am now 63, I got hurt at work! First I had to fight compensation for a year, ZERO $$$! Then I had to apply to get Disability Canada Pension because I can't physically work anymore.. (damaged back, head injury, I have to use a cane and knee braces to walk)! I spent my savings just surviving while being forced to fight for MY money from my own government for 5 years just to get a measly $300. a month! THAT'S IT! Luckily my spouse works , we paid off our house ten years ago! But, we still barely get by! Every person I speak to about my case with the government on the phone, can barely speak English and yell at me or are VERY impatient with me, because I can't understand THEM, they usually hang up! When I ask to please speak to someone IN Canada, they hang up, then I have to wait another hour to talk to someone else! (I went to 4 government funded agencies to see if I could possibly get a job working from home, because I have trouble getting out! All sent me somewhere else! One agency who is supposed to help disabled people in WPG, REES, the agent refused to talk to me or look me in the eye, * he got a supervisor to talk to me! Because he's Muslim and I'm Gay! They were continuously hostile/aggressive towards me without reason??? I volunteer at 2 different food banks , I've met TONS of people who have never worked a day in their lives, their family, parents, grandparents have never worked... EVER! Yet they have brand new trucks??? Still go to food banks? AND, several new Canadians who I've met, have never worked a day in Canada... Some with new cars??? Yet everyone else receives 10 times what I receive to live on??? I PAID TAXES ALL OF MY LIFE! We can't afford a car! Yet... I don't blame them! I would take it they offered! I blame our government (NDP, Libs, AND CONservatives) who don't give a crap about disabled and seniors in Canada! Or if you paid taxes all of your life , into a system that's supposed to help when you need it! ALL politicians in Canada just whore out their votes! I've volunteered for almost 40 years, also holding down jobs, helping others, I've never seen so may seniors and disabled people forced to access food banks and soup kitchens than the last few years! EVER! Disabled people have to constantly prove they are disabled enough to get kitchen scraps from sociopathic politicians who are over paid and under worked! Fees go up, taxes go up, housing goes up, property taxes go up, bus fairs go up, etc.. Services go WAY down! We can afford trillion$ in corporate welfare, but not help our own? Seniors can't afford to live in their homes anymore! YOU'RE WELCOME for paying for YOUR golden pensions pig politicians, and NOT helping us when we need it! POS!

They say racism is taught. And within young kids you can see and hear very clearly it totally can be as it’s heavily based on perspective. As someone with autism I genuinely just see people for who they are and what they provide ignoring race or politics and I’ve never been racist. With all of that said I almost feel as a white Canadian now a days what “first generation racism” feels like. But it’s not like traditional “racism” hating for the sake of hating. About 15 years ago, my sister in law wanted to bring her father here from South Africa; however, immigration said "no, because he was acriskbto the Canadian health system". They couldnt even bring him over even with the promise to pay out of pocket for healthcare should it be needed. I find it utterly disgusting that as a born Canadian citizen I can't get a job, proper healthcare and live in a culture where immigrants (not all if them do this) thumb their noses at us. These immigrants, in my opinion, have NO intention of learning the english language either. I can't figure out why some of them even bothered coming to Canada because they haven't left their crap where they came from. It is no wonder Poland is the way they are about Immigration.

I'm pretty much exactly where that lady in the car is at. Enough to make rent, pay my monthly cell phone bill, and internet, but the rest? Not enough for food, no emergency funds if something breaks or needs replacing, etc. Can't even save and put money away. I sat down and balanced my budget, looking at what I could keep or toss. Figured out what to do for cheapening food costs as much as I could (without doing food bank), and the most I can afford for rent is $700 a month. That's basically a room in someone's house. That's it. As an Adult, I'm disgusted it's come to this. But what angers me MOST of all, is the Landlord's I gotta argue with. Surrey, BC used to be the cheap end of Vancouver. The welfare type housing, and low-income area. Then we had this huge book of Middle Eastern people come flying in at top speed, steam roll the community and make it theirs. They bought up all the cheap housing, ripped it down even though it was not that bad of a house, then built these custom 5-6 room mini mansions. The standards for the area skyrocketed, and the cost of their mortgage is likely also sky high because of what they built... So what do they do? Rent the rooms, force people 2 to a room with no privacy, and if you WANT a private room? Nearly $1000. Oh... And let's not forget the discrimination issues. If you're not going to temple or Gudwara, forget it. If you aren't pure vegetarian, forget it. And because all the other renters are "brown" and under 30yrs old, Adults are considered unwelcome. If you have a disability and don't work, you're automatically labelled a drug user (which isn't always truth). Even if you offer proof of income, and resources or phone numbers to call, they won't bother. Too much work. This sh*t needs to stop. I look in other cities near by, and it's happening in ALL OF THEM. I cant even relocate to get away from this crap. I'm done. I have no car to live out of, so that's not an option. I'm not a drug user, never will be but and all the shelters are now "low barrier". Screw that. So now what? Go back to work with a broken lower back?? Desk job search when I should be recovering and resting? Like, the suggestions are welcome, but be realistic. I'm in constant pain on heavy duty drugs to get by right now. No spouce. No parents or friends to leech off of. I feel utterly abandoned by our government.
