What is he still doing around? Send the Illegal Immigrants and the ones with expired Visa home so we can get caught up on homes and jobs for our own Legal Citizens. Our young people, whom are the future of Canada cannot even get jobs, because the government is giving potential employers partial money to hire the Immigrants therefore not letting Natural Citizens of Canada GET JOBS. We need to stop paying taxpayers money to the Illegal Immigrants. Another thing we should be only allowing into our country only skilled workers with trades! Also every immigrant needs to be vetted to see if they have Criminal Records. Also we should not be letting people into our country who do have our Canadian Values and Standards of Humanity. There are certain people being allowed in our country WHO DO NOT fit our society.

I feel bad that many of these people were given false hope, but this reduction was needed. In the early 2020's immigration levels reached levels that were simply too high. We had a population growth rate similar to Sudan. It strained our education, health care and prevented young people from getting jobs. We are a nation that welcomes immigration, but it cannot be at a level beyond our capacities.

I lived in Canada for 11 years, 2008 - 2019, went to university and worked in Toronto. I come from an upper-middle class family in China, went to a top university in Canada, landed good jobs and I speak English like a native. I got my PR in 2015 and I remember the painful uphill battle I had to go through just get that. All the bureaucracy, redtape, unnecessarily rigid rules, high cost and long wait I received from CIC/IRCC felt like a humiliation to me. Every document was scrutinized and every step had obstacle that fealt unreasonable (my TOEFL examiner ask me why I had to do the language test required by CIC, and I had to visit a notary to validate my Chinese national ID card). It felt uneasy but I understood that these were the rules that everyone had to go through, and moving and integrating into a new society was never meant to be easy. I went back to Canada in 2021 and 2024, and it was evident that the country I once called home had gone down the hill. The streets were screaming crime, unemployment, inflation, drug and filth, it's total social rot. As someone who went through the whole immigration process (and many of my friends who went through the same have left Canada for good, like myself), I attribute much of this to failed immigration policy. I cannot help but feel confused, angry, betrayed and humiliated when I look at the recent immigration policies of Canada and their results, and compare with what I had to go through. The feeling sums up to: Canada penalizes the hard-working and law-abiding people, and rewards the undeserved and the cheaters. Example: when the US creates wars in the Middle East, why does CANADA bear the cost of bringing in refugees? I never regretted moving back to China and East Asia, and I feel bad for those who still truly think of Canada as home, as I am one myself. When the leadership of a country deviates from pragmatism, reason and common sense, and instead embraces idealogies, hypocrisy and political optics, this is what happens. The prices are paid by everyone, immigrant or not. For this, Trudeau deserves a court trial for his incompetence and dereliction of duty; and the people of Canada need some honest and serious retrospection. I will share some words of wisdom by the late Lee Kwan Yew: “Whoever governs Singapore (LKY was the PM and founding father of Singapore) must have that iron in him. Or give it up. This is not a game of cards, this is your life and mine. I've spent a whole lifetime building this and as long as I'm in charge, nobody is going to knock it down.” I hope the clownish weakling politicians in Canada (and, in much of the western world nowadays) can be enlightened a little bit.

The big problem is the management at majority of businesses is Indian so they selectively hire only INDIANS so other ethnicities cannot get jobs

I am an immigrant,I never abused the system, never took what was not mine, I worked hard and I am nurse, I waited four years to purchase my dream car and 2 months in, the person who don’t use road codes or stop light hit my car! I worked hard and I am kind and respectful…. People who steal DAILY gets a slap on their wrist and gets their Canadian citizenship right away. I don’t eat or drink and place my cup on store shelves with clothes that other people are about to purchase. Canada is not safe anymore! All the jobs are going to a set of immigrants who acts like pigs! Driving in the dowtown area, u have to keep your foot on the break because there WILL be about 20 bikes that will ride in front of your car without notice . I work so hard and sometimes it’s so overwhelming, the last time this got to me…. I had to go and take a little vacation…. No I could not afford it but it’s better than getting stressed out because Canada is becoming a 3rd world country!!! There are HONEST people who work so hard and cannot afford anything , not even their rent! WE ARE FED UP, it is not the older immigrants, it is the new ones that are destroying the country and turning it into trash!

They say racism is taught. And within young kids you can see and hear very clearly it totally can be as it’s heavily based on perspective. As someone with autism I genuinely just see people for who they are and what they provide ignoring race or politics and I’ve never been racist. All the suffering I see by my fellow Canadians while new immigrants flash unlimited gift cards, drive spanking new, high end vehicles, and go home to paid for homes is very hard to stomach. I have never felt bad feelings toward any group of people, but that is changing by the day. The garbage on the ground and the filthy public restrooms are disgusting. The shoplifting is off the charts…I literally witnessed a group of black young women walk slowly out of a Winners store while the alarms blared and the staff just shrugged. I agree. Canadians are not getting jobs. All Canadians of every color. The govt is responsible for this epidemic. Cdn born students cannot get a job at any fast food joints. They are occupied by fake students . Chalo, fresco, no frills, real cdn superstore , Costco, Amazon etc are only hiring Sikh punjabis. This is called discrimination against the Cdn citizens of ever colour. Our standard of living is down. Send these so-called student back. Canadians have been labelled racists; Indians have refused to adopt the Canadian way of life. They are dirty, rude, blame deflectors in the workplace. I have been replaced by Indians in the workplace due to claims of "racism" just for calling out issues created and perpetuated by Indian colleagues. They destroyed the country. You cannot even afford to rent an apartment or even move around for a job. If you leave Toronto for a contract job outside of the city and move somewhere else for a little while, you will be homeless when you come back. To we are pretty much screwed in every moving around to try and gain experience to get ahead. And there are profession where you have to move outside of the GTA to get experience. Canadian students can barely get a entry level job with a two year diploma, yet they allow International students to study things like a 2 year diploma in Business, which no one can ever get a job with, and on top of that, they told them they can apply to become permanent resident . How does that even make any sense? Does any politician in this country have two working brain cells? I'm so sick of this country, I desperately want to leave ...I'm a immigrant and my parents came here in the glory days of the 70s, where people from other English speaking countries were given priority and were expected to fully integrate into Canadian society

The US isn't launching a trade war against anyone. We are closing up shop and are getting ready to take care of our own. There is a massive difference. We cannot be expected to continue supporting other countries economies and defense obligations, when we have 2 generations of working class citizens unable to afford a home or have children. We have entire countries we could fill with the homeless and incarcerated, and veterans who see little to no positive treatment or respect within the job market. Things are already very very bad here in the states. I don't think many Americans realize how bad the economy is. Tariffs will force US companies to reduce the outsourcing of jobs, and force other countries who are over-reliant on trade from the States, to cultivate their own self-sufficiency. This may seem hypocritical when it comes to China, but that isn't a problem you can solve overnight. \n\nTo make it clear, Americans are going to suffer in the wake of this tariff decision, but that is the price we pay to force ourselves to change. We have made ourselves into a very weak country because of overreliance on other countries trade, and other countries overreliance on our intelligence, infrastructure, medical advancements, technological advancements, and defense capabilities. The american consumer and taxpayer front the bills for all of this, and they are suffering. This isn't a war on the rest of the world. It us telling everyone else that we can no longer be relied upon because we are weak. \n\nI didnt' even vote Trump the first two times he ran. The only solution that I have heard that remotely makes any sense is the Cato institute conclusion that the wisest route to go is completely legalization with age restrictions. While this may not be the desired outcome it's the only one that I see that makes any sense whatsoever it seems that when a solution like this offered so many individuals who have no gravitas in this matter will come back to the same nonsensical bulshit that they're going to stop the flow that is absolutely impossible. However we will continue on that course and we will continue to fail. The Cato Institute was initially funded by the Koch brothers a extremely conservative organization that gets together a group of the brightest and the best in trying to determine what is the best solution.the Koch brothers were the group that invented the tea party I would love for anybody who disagrees with this post. I would like anybody who thinks that this is a far-fetched idea ,all I ask is that if you disagree with the finding that it should be legal with age restrictions if you disagree I would like to hear a solution that you have in mind that you think is better than the Cato Institute finding. I am under the impression that you do not have anything that remotely resembles a solution to this terrible problem. Right off the bat, with uality control, you'll stop hundreds of thousands of deaths. All of the issues that are being dealt with are just so screwed up because we've already been through this before. There are BILLIONS of ppl who in Africa, South America and Islam multiplied one thousand times in 100 yrs. They will not stop rapidly recklessly multiplying and of course, high numbers of kids per adult, esp abandoned mothers, creates poverty. If we stopped these people at the border and made them stay in the country they entered, Canada, and Mexico. How long do you think they would tolerate this before they stopped it. The cost to house, feed, medical, clothe, document, and get jobs for would mess up their economy. First let me say that I fully support anyone who is fully physically capable of doing whatever job that they are either enlisted to do or has been assigned to do within the military. \n\nIn a time where special forces doesn't mean bulked up freakishly high endurance or specific physical requirements are necessary.\nSpecial ops nowadays is also about mental acumen and ability to assess the entire picture and it is absolutely well known that certain physical factors are required to be on the front lines but to remove a very capable force that is a force multiplier in a time where it's absolutely needed and cannot be replaced quickly or even adequately is doing a massive disservice to our military and the citizens of this country just for the sake of a small group of individuals with small minds that couldn't step into that vacant position and adequately fill it with the same caliber of talent regardless of how they identify themselves!\nBeing the most lethal fighting military requires many talents and to remove those talents from the soldiers they support is absolutely hurting our military in ways that will take decades to rectify!\nThat soldier on the ground calling in drone strikes to get his or her soldiers out of the danger isn't going to care if they are trans or identify as LGBTQ only that they are able to safeguard their soldiers in whatever way they have been trained to do..\nOur military needs to be the most diverse in order to be the most lethal in the most diverse situations throughout the worlds stages!

I have family that cannot get a job in our area. But the immigrants are being hired weekly at our Mart. Now its the immigrants hiring the immigrants. Feels like Canadians are the minority in our own nation.

These people don't understand that President Trump don't play around. He will literally bring tanks and the Army down there. It might look like Canada has a lot of land but this land is owned and even other canadians cannot afford to live here. If a fourth generation canadian cannot get a job, then why should another country come here. We are trying to get our education system to improve and we cannot do that if there are so many people who have a better education from another country. we cannot afford to do this. Companies get half wages paid for by Government for foreign workers that is why people born here cannot get a basic job

That means she came at a time when immigration was much easier and wanted, to increase gdp and to do the jobs normal Americans didn’t want to. Also, for that old Mexican lady to say those things about her own family, tells me, she is not someone who cares for others or may even care at all. She became a racist just like the republicans and her family should be ashamed of her. Lastly, different times of immigration, this time around, those leaving other countries are trying to save their families lives, having to deal with authoritarian dictators, drug cartels and corrupt governments. She may have had some of that, but I doubt it, she just wanted to move here and make a better life for herself, screw her loved ones. She is an abomination and one of the reasons this country has lost itself, if a Mexican immigrant cannot feel sympathy or empathy for those people in a very similar situation than that person has truly been corrupted by the republicans “all about me” mantra.

In Australia. Australia is not too far behind. Housing crisis.. extremely expensive. In Sydney we can’t afford even a studio. 5 ppl Sharing a house. Pay for every food delivery anywhere between 2 to 5 AUD. Any dish you order is minimum 18 AUD so a dinner for 2 is at least 40 AUD even at places like McDonald’s. Groceries are monopolised and they charge very high.. even 3 days of groceries will cost you between 50 to 80. And forget healthcare. It’s so expensive that we pray we don’t fall sick. The doctors too don’t give you real advise. Just prescribe tests blindly without analysing ur symptoms. In India if you find a good doctor, they will save u from getting too many tests. Ppl are depressed and are suffering from many mental illnesses. No sense of community. The only reason why we are here is to save up as much as we can. We are struggling, living in shared apartments in a small room.. we came here with a job without any money spent from our end and the only Reason it works is cz we are saving up for India and when we send money to family it’s cheaper due to currency exchange. We cannot afford the same lifestyle as India with our whole family here.

Being the reason why i left the country right after 6 months, truly horrifying when it comes to saving and studying, finding part time jobs in well known provinces is hell, even after you get the job, you won't get enough hours to save up for the upcoming year for your tuitions, you cannot do both at the same time, you either study or work, there's no point in dragging yourself for the specific period of time you're there for and end up driving either a uber or looking for tradework.

I moved to the town of Brampton in 1968. It was a small village consisting of mainly canadian/British people. I have family that live in Brampton now that have been to college in the medical field. They cannot even get a job because they don't speak Hindi. That IS racism! I now live in a beach town in Ontario and I'm seeing the same thing happen. Indians are taking all the jobs, buying the businesses to cater to their own kind. When you go to the beach now, it is 85% Indians. Canada's government has failed, because our leader has sold the country to India.

In Toronto, the price for a good 2bd condo is $600k+; it's CRAZY! You can buy a house in Texas for this money and find a much better job, and you will pay fewer taxes. \nThe only thing is that I hope that people who are already here will get a chance to get their PRs. And I see that IRCC is currently focused on CEC and PNPs, which is a good move.

I too am an immigrant, but I feel like the country is being overtaken by India. There's nothing wrong with immigration if controlled properly, bud sadly this is not the case with the Canadian government, and it is getting out of control. I live in a beach town in Ontario that up until last year was a nice place to live. Now when you go to the beach it is 90% Indians, and they are buying up all the businesses to cater to their own kind and if you aren't Indian, you stand out like a sore thumb!. I have a relative that lives in Brampton and is very experienced in the medical field, but cannot get a job because they don't speek Hindi. Come on people! If you can't speak english you shouldn't be allowed into the country!

The liberals threw us in this hell hole. Our young cannot find intern jobs, we are dealing with these illiterate no skill useless people roaming around on our streets, bringing increase in crime and we as Canadians are paying for the sins of this Government. Man I am so furious right now. Only response is to get them out of the government.

1) Canadians lure Indian students for $$. It is a significant amount of $$ and boost Canadian economy 2) Indian students 50% wants to finish the course applied, a job after the course and PR and 50% work immediately and don't attend college, wants to go for PR 3) Indians take all the jobs in the supermarket, Mall jobs, fast food stores etc even if the wage is less than Canadian 4) Canadians cannot get any jobs either awaiting government help or going into doll. This same happens in the USA, Australia, UK and NZ

Went through the pathway of studies-work-residency-citizenship\n\nLet me simplify the story for all of you guys here that lacks immigration intel. \n\n1) The quality of migrants you see here is not what Canada needs long term. It’s not a matter of ethnicity, but Canada needs to import talented and educated folks in medicine, engineering, trades etc. None of these individuals are interested in studying and are either attending 3rd grade colleges/universities to get a work permit and hoped to stay on. \n\n2) Shoddy sales tactics include lying or ‘avoiding stating the obvious’ that could make you lose the deal. This is exactly what the Canadian government did with these people. The Canadian dream was sold somewhat properly before 2017/2018 I would say. Post Covid there was a MASSIVE need of manpower in minimum wage jobs. The government could not afford increasing minimum wage at the time and international students would do exactly those jobs and bring in millions of dollars in tuition fees. The government opened the gates for these strip-mall colleges to take unprecedented numbers of students with allowances to work. These students were sold the exact same dream that a top quality University/college student is sold about Canada. They needed to be used at the time. And if they would’ve been told that their quality of students are only needed temporarily, they wouldn’t have come. The labour shortage at the time wouldn’t have been solved. So a CATCH 22 of the highest order. \n\n3) Canada CANNOT give in to such protests as it will set the worst example of migrant pandering for future generations. The best talent will refrain from entering Canada and more and more of these types of immigrants who do not want to assimilate to the Canadian culture will want to keep on coming.

My family came from Canada from India over 100 years ago we came over here legally we tried to assimilate I think what really bothers me now is that these new international students are giving all of us a bad name most of them cheat on their English exams back in India, and this is a known fact most of them can’t speak English and hence why they fail the colleges here expecting to be passed automatically. they work over 40 hours a week illegally and lie about it The government is subsidizing international students but they are taking jobs away from our students. We paid taxes my entire life and my son applied for over 100 jobs and got nothing because every single job is taken over by international students they are they are abrasive. They are entitled, they cannot seem to understand how assimilation works. They are so entitled and they feel they can protest out in the streets when they dont get PR. They came on a student visa and were expected to go home. They are now complaining and protesting at this point they all need to be sent home because this is ridiculous, PR should be handed out as needed not automatically and right now there are so many Canadians without jobs so we don’t need more workers. I also work in healthcare most of the students or their families come in don’t have appropriate healthcare and we end up paying millions of dollars in healthcare bills because of them, we have had families come visit their international students with no healthcare having strokes costing us healthcare workers and the government over $1 million. We don’t have the infrastructure for these students to stop. The government needs to stop subsidizing. The government needs to stop handing out PR like they’re handing out candyscamin India and here charged enough is enough. I will def be writing to my politician

I know a woman that works at the social services office in Vancouver. 1/10th of her job is telling immigrants that their relatives cannot collect welfare before they are in Canada. Let that sink in. No intention of working. Another friend works in the E.R in North Vancouver dealing with immigrants lined up at emergency for trivial things a Canadian wouldn't dream of going to E.R to address. in canada my rent has doubled in last 5 years. Food price has gone up 4x, gas price at all time highs, but min wage, or pay from jobs has not gone up at all. 5 years ago I was able to barely make a little bit of savings, but now, I spend all money on bills, and have nothing left over to save. I never eat out, go out, do any activities, I work and sleep and play video games, and no matter what I do, I just cannot save anything.\n\nI got really hard jobs like running gravel in a wheel barrel, and moving, and I get the same pay at these jobs as I did like 20 years ago.W ages ARE NOT going up at all but all bills are.
