The minister was probably chosen specifically because she was inept and wouldn't know what was going on in her department; that reduces the likelihood that anyone would be turned away a while longer. As Lorrie said - just like my Political Science professor pointed out almost 50 years ago - immigrants largely vote for whoever was in power when they arrived in the country. A very large percentage of the people that they bring into the country under a Liberal government are likely to vote Liberal. That's a (practically) guaranteed stream of new Liberal voters to replace the old Liberal voters who have become disillusioned by the Liberal Party's actions. It has to stop.
We need to vet EVERYONE who comes in and we shouldn't be giving them gold-plated health care until we've granted them refugee status or permanent residency and they should be told that up front so no one is shocked or feels cheated. If they know that and still come, they'll know what they're facing. If they choose not to come, they've made an informed decision.

Oh, Tyler Oliveira—you sniveling, camera-clutching clown from the States, desperately chasing clicks by dunking on India like it's your ticket to relevance. You slither into our sacred festivals, twist them into your racist freak shows, and call it "content"? That Gorehabba video where you mocked an ancient Karnataka ritual as the "sh***iest experience" of your life? Pathetic. You got roasted so hard by millions of Indians that you cried uncle, doxxed and threatened, begging for mercy while scrapping your whole "documentary." Then you pivot to whining about "Canada's Indian Invasion," painting hardworking Indians as some horde overwhelming your precious borders—only for YouTube to smack it down before you reuploaded your bile. Newsflash, you bottom-feeding provocateur: India's not your punchline. We're the eternal empire that's outlasted losers like you for millennia. Time to school your ignorant ass on why you should've stayed in your mom's basement—India, the unstoppable tiger that could crush your entire "career" without noticing.
Let's start with the obvious: scale, you microscopic meme. India's a juggernaut with 1.45 billion souls, a population exploding with talent and tenacity, projected to dominate the world demo while your declining West scrambles for immigrants to wipe its ass. We're bigger than your wildest fever dreams—3.287 million square kilometers of epic diversity, from Himalayan fortresses to tech hubs that power the globe. You? A solo YouTuber with a few million subs, hiding behind a mic, peddling poop jokes because real journalism's too hard. Your "exposés" on cow dung rituals or urine therapy? Cherry-picked trash from one village, ignoring that India's the cradle of civilization— inventors of zero, yoga, and chess when your ancestors were grunting in caves. You sensationalize our extremes to feed your racist fanbase, but guess what? We own the narrative now; your videos get mass-reported and buried because 1.5 billion of us don't play.
Economy? You love ranting about H-1B visas and Indians "invading" jobs—cry harder, Tyler. India's GDP is blasting past $4 trillion, eyeing $10 trillion by 2030, with 7% growth that laps your stagnant economy. We're the world's startup unicorn factory, with giants like Reliance and Tata that could buy your channel for chump change. Indian CEOs run Google, Microsoft, and half of Silicon Valley—your tech overlords are us, bro. And those "invasions" you fear? We're the brains keeping Canada and the US afloat; without Indian talent, your countries would crumble into irrelevance. Your anti-Indian rants on visas? Just salty jealousy from a guy whose "content" relies on AI-generated slop and hate bait. Keep mocking; we'll keep innovating and out-earning you.
Power? Don't make me laugh. India's military is a nuclear-armed beast: $80+ billion budget, 1.4 million troops, hypersonic missiles, and carriers that could sail circles around your non-existent army. We're ranked top 4 globally in firepower, staring down real threats while you play pretend journalist in safe suburbs. You "fight" with a camera; we'd "eat you up" with one viral backlash—remember how we turned your life into "a living hell" with reports and threats? That's just a taste; cross us again, and your channel's toast. But we're merciful giants—unlike you, we don't need to stoop to your level.
Our people? Unbreakable legends. A mosaic of 2,000+ ethnic groups, 22 languages, and faiths that birthed Buddhism, Hinduism, and the world's largest democracy. Bollywood crushes your Hollywood knockoffs; our cuisine, from biryani to butter chicken, rules global menus while you gag on sensationalized "poop" stories. We've conquered empires—the Mughals, British—and risen stronger, while you're just another white dude profiting off exoticism. Racist? Check your mirror; your videos drip with disdain for "third-world" vibes, but India's soft power—cricket, curry, tech—owns the planet. You called our festival "humanity's extinction" risk? Nah, that's your career after we expose your bigotry.
So, Tyler, tuck your tail and run. Apologize for your propaganda, delete your trash, and stick to interviewing rednecks. India's not your playground; we're the big daddy that broke you once and can do it again. Stay scared, clown. Jai Hind!

Pierre Poilievre’s Immigration Hypocrisy: A Study in Convenient Principles Disguised as Conviction
Pierre Poilievre has never met a border he did not want to fortify, a refugee claim he did not want to scrutinize, or an irregular crossing he did not want to turn into a national morality play. For years, he has warned Canadians that the country is being overrun by “illegal border crossers,” “queue jumping asylum seekers,” and “abusers of the system.” He delivers these warnings with the solemnity of a man announcing a biblical plague, not a handful of exhausted families walking across a ditch in Quebec.
In Poilievre’s political universe, Roxham Road is not a rural footpath. It is a symbol of national decline. It is chaos incarnate. It is the place where the rule of law goes to die. It is, in short, the perfect stage upon which he can perform his favorite role: the lone defender of order in a world gone soft.
At least, that is the story he tells the public.
The private story, as publicly reported, is considerably less heroic.
The Public Record That Refuses to Behave:
According to reporting from The Breach and the National Observer, someone described as the uncle of Poilievre’s spouse has an immigration history that reads like a greatest hits compilation of everything Poilievre claims to oppose.
The reporting outlines that he entered Canada and made a refugee claim. That claim was refused. A deportation order was issued. He later re-entered Canada through Roxham Road. He then filed a humanitarian and compassionate application. Poilievre’s spouse reportedly helped prepare that application.
This is not fringe gossip. This is what journalists documented through correspondence, interviews, and immigration records.
In other words, the exact pathway Poilievre condemns as “abuse of the system” is the same pathway publicly reported to have been used by someone connected to him.
And suddenly, the man who treats Roxham Road like a national security breach becomes quieter than a library at midnight. The slogans stop. The outrage evaporates. The border, once a sacred line, becomes a flexible suggestion.
The Rhetoric: A Symphony of Outrage:
Poilievre’s immigration rhetoric is a carefully orchestrated performance. He warns that irregular border crossings undermine the rule of law. He insists humanitarian and compassionate applications are loopholes. He claims the system is being gamed. He declares that Canada must “take back control.”
He delivers these lines with the moral certainty of a man who believes compassion is a gateway drug.
In his speeches, asylum seekers are not people. They are symbols. They are props. They are the raw material from which he fashions his political identity.
He is the sheriff.
They are the threat.
The border is the battleground.
And Canada is the damsel in distress.
It is a compelling narrative.
It is also a narrative that collapses the moment it becomes personally inconvenient.
The Reality: A Study in Elastic Principles:
When someone connected to Poilievre uses the very same system he condemns, the rules change with breathtaking speed.
Irregular border crossings are no longer a crisis. They are a misunderstanding. A technicality. A regrettable but understandable choice.
Humanitarian and compassionate applications are no longer loopholes. They are legitimate pathways. Necessary tools. Evidence of a compassionate system.
The border is no longer a sacred line. It is a suggestion. A guideline. A flexible concept open to interpretation.
It is a remarkable transformation, like watching a man insist that jaywalking is a crime against humanity until his friend does it, at which point it becomes a misunderstood act of civic expression.
The Political Convenience of Shifting Standards:
Poilievre’s political identity is built on the idea that he alone will restore order. He alone will enforce the rules. He alone will protect Canada from the chaos of irregular migration.
But the moment the rules become inconvenient, they are no longer rules. They are preferences. They are vibes. They are whatever he needs them to be in the moment.
This is not a minor contradiction. It is a fundamental collapse of the moral architecture he has built his political brand upon.
If irregular crossings are a crisis, then they are a crisis for everyone.
If humanitarian applications are loopholes, then they are loopholes for everyone.
If the system is broken, then it is broken for everyone.
But Poilievre’s version of justice is not universal. It is conditional. It is situational. It is deeply, profoundly personal.
The Broader Pattern: Institutions Are Sacred Until They Are Not:
This is not the first time Poilievre’s principles have proven to be more flexible than advertised. He has attacked the Supreme Court of Canada when its rulings do not align with his political needs. He has accused the justice system of being too lenient when it suits him and too harsh when it does not. He has framed himself as the defender of institutions while undermining them whenever they become inconvenient.
It is a pattern.
It is a habit.
It is a worldview.
And it reveals something essential about his politics.
For Poilievre, institutions are not pillars of democracy.
They are tools.
They are props.
They are instruments to be used when helpful and discarded when not.
The Satirical Truth: A Philosophy in One Sentence:
Pierre Poilievre’s immigration philosophy can now be summarized with clinical precision:
Canada must crack down on irregular border crossings, except for the ones that are fine. And he will decide which ones are fine.
It is a stance that bends so far backward it could qualify for a gymnastics medal.
It is a stance that reveals more about political convenience than national security.
It is a stance that exposes the gap between what Poilievre says and what Poilievre does.
And it is a stance that makes one thing abundantly clear. Polievre's Hypocrisy

Please deport those involved. As a former landed immigrant turned Canadian citizen years ago, I urge the Canadian government to arrest and deport everyone involved in such behaviour. This country must remain peaceful and save for everyone. When we come to Canada we must intend to help build and maintain a stable society not tear the country apart and put others at risk. It’s time to get rid of all criminal elements within the borders of Canada. Canada shouldn’t be a gangster paradise. No one has the right to come to Canada and disturbed the peace and stability we all enjoyed. Please deport all the trouble makers, drug dealers and gangs. Don’t even waste taxpayers dollars keeping those criminals in prison, when they’re caught and proven guilty, please deport immediately.

I grew up in Brampton from 1985 to 2010. I watched it change. Not for the better. I got the hell out there and every time I go back to visit my fam, it's even worse. Almost never seeing any other race but Indian lol. It all has to do with Trudeau's dad designating that city as a go-to place for Indian migrants. The Trudeau's are part of the whole Satanic New World Order, and part of that order is using mass immigration as a weapon to destroy 1st world countries. His father started it back in the 70s. And yeah the driving is absolutely horrible. The car insurance skyrocketed. They destroyed the city I grew up in. It's a shit hole now. Many of them will tell you that India itself is a shit hole, but the more of them that come to Brampton, or wherever, they turn it into India. I don't consider it racism. It's their people but it's not like it's all of them, but it is a lot. From personal observance, they're the most unhygienic people I've ever met, and they love easy jobs the involve scamming others out of money. All of those scam callers are Indian. Nothing else. They have no dignity. No self respect. They just want money and don't care how to get it. I generally don't like them, but it's because of their negative behaviors. There are plenty of other races that come to Canada that people love. Have you ever heard of anyone complain about Filipinos? No. They're loved. They come here and know how to assimilate while keeping their own heritage intact in respect to our own. They're friendly, respectful, hygienic. Indian people just want to come here and make this place Indian and they have tons of kids, so that's exactly what's happening. Brampton was cooked years ago. It's just going to devour itself and fully become an extension of India, and it already has been spreading out from Brampton to the surrounding cities.

It's ABOUT TIME someone starts talking about Indians invading and destroying beautiful places. I'm in the US, in a very affluent area of New Jersey, and we've had to move 3 times because Indians find the beautiful communities, overwhelm them - with too many people in one house, too many loud/unruly children, leaving piles of shoes on doorsteps, using beautiful yards and terraces as junk storage/laundry drying areas, making everything smell and look terrible because they have no class and their food smells permeate other people's homes as well at the outdoor air... They turn luxury developments into Indian slums and nobody's talking about it because they're afraid to sound racist.
I have almost every race in my own family. So I KNOW I'm not racist. I just find it intolerable that there aren't more laws in place to protect lovely American communities from being overrun by non-assimilating Indians or any other immigrant population.

The problem is all the other immigrants actually assimilated here unlike them there just trying to turn it into there homeland which is the complete opposite of what you’re supposed to do when you come here and before they would only let higher class families immigrate here from any country but now they just let people from the bottom of the barrel come here with no intention to better society

Thank you Tyler for covering this issue. A lot of Canadians who were born here feel the same way about this country turning into South Asia 2.0, but very few are vocal about it, and some are willfully blind to the consequences. This may be an immigrant country, but it's certainly not sustainable at the rate we're going....
|

I don't think most Canadians have a problem with Indians. I think we have a problem with our government who is not able to enforce a policy that puts the country first. Immigration built Canada and good immigration creates jobs and opportunities. What we're seeing is the government exploiting everyone who built his country. A lot of Indians work here for cheap labour because the government and other regulatory bodies turn a blind eye if it means they can gain the trust and votes of the people they are essentially lying to. It's a shame to see because no one In this situation on either side is really happy.

Pierre trudeau was the godfather of immigration, since then its been an open door policy of every bottom feeder around the world looking to suck the blood out of Canada. They don't come to embrace our society, they drag along their failed, demented, cultures along with them and that's why Canada is falling to a 3rd world status. That man said it "It feels like he's in his home town." yeah, they're turning Canada into fvcking india, and those of us born here who are not Indian don't want that. This is a cultural take over.

1) Canadian politicians are running a Ponzi scheme - just keep bringing in more foreigners to pay for everybody else they already brought in
2) This immigration game was started after DeGaulle sparked Quebec separatism, and neither Ottawa nor Washington knew how to deal with this, other than to mass-import lots of foreigners in order to dilute the Anglo-French divide that was quickly turning toxic. Washington was not going to allow a new country to form on its northern frontier, potentially creating a new geopolitical fault line which could be exploited by the Soviet bloc. Therefore all the stops would be pulled out to rearrange the demographics of the suddenly fragile Canada.
3) This immigration game is just a human trafficking operation. Canada itself has been reduced to a human trafficking operation, originally to counter Quebec separatism, and then later the politicians just plain got addicted to importing new voters, rather than solving the problems of existing voters through good governance.
4) We're all up the creek without a paddle. Neither do I have any solutions to the current mess, nor do the people who made this video have any solutions. It's now like the weather - we can complain about it, but can't change it. Maybe Trump can solve it by breaking up Canada and turning pieces of it into new American states. I know - it's blasphemy - but...
5) *_I too am of Indian heritage,_* and have been a Canadian for over half a century.

I wonder if they discussed how when Indian students who unalive themselves in Canada, the deaths are not treated as such.
There are many families who have the remains of their kids (usually young males) repatriated and the death is left unclear. The gov’t of Canada has been obfuscating many such deaths.
Was it the Canadian govt fully at fault for the deaths? Not quite… these students are often met with predatory individuals who take advantage of their vulnerable situations: such as predatory landlords who have sometimes 15 or more students renting one house, or unjust working conditions because the employer knows that the immigrants citizenship hopes are tied to the job, etc etc.
Ultimately, it’s the Canadian government turning a blind eye to these realities and trying to make the deaths appear due to things other than unalive attempts.
This shouldn’t be surprising considering the way the Canadian government has been pushing dystopian legislation around their medically assisted dying program (MAiD). Canada’s medically assisted dying program has the least guardrails of any program of that type in other countries.
Not just this, but the legislation for MAiD comes at a time when Canada’s healthcare and mental healthcare systems are collapsing. Trudeau said he would address this with one his re-election promises in 2021: he promised 5 billion for mental health programs. I’ve worked in the field for almost 20 years with youth and that money never arrived, nor has any serious attempt to fund programs occurred since the brutal Canadian pandemic policies massively exacerbated the youth mental health crisis.
Perhaps one day someone will be able to trace how the 5 Billion promised was send off in provincial transfers that did not benefit any programs and likely only helped pay for all the upper management, because Canada’s healthcare, education and mental health care systems are absurdly top-heavy.
Canada becomes moral dystopian by the day, with regular folks (working class, blue collar, low-income) bearing the burden. Everyday more people join the rank of the oppressed regular people while a few who work in the government or favored industries are overpaid and the stats around all of this corruption are further obfuscated and buried. And as all this occurs, you see bureaucrats like the on in this video smug in their knowledge that most Canadians will never learn how dark the truth is.

I can't tell if half of these comments are watching the same video as me. I understand there are issues with Canada's current immigration policies and certainly, purely by numbers, there are a lot of immigrants moving to Canada, but I'm genuinely convinced the people in the comments watched the first half of the video and then turned it off. So many weird comments, ranging from "they're bad drivers!" to "I moved away from Brampton because of this problem" (what problem?? Indian people??). In the second half of the video, all three of the religious buildings they entered had extremely kind-hearted people, with free food for ANYONE to enjoy. Again I understand things aren't perfect, but it would seem a lot of people are using "immigration policies are allowing immigrants in too fast" to justify their hatred of Indian people.

First it was the Irish immigrants they hated; now we celebrated St Patrick's Day. Then it was the Germans; now we celebrated Oktoberfest. Then the Italians 'invaded' New York; now it's pizza and pasta in Little Italy. Then it was the Chinese; now every city has a Chinatown. Then it was the Japanese who we sent to camps in the 40s; now we drive their cars. Then it was the Vietnamese they hated because they were fleeing war; now we get a $15 haircut from the woman at the mall. Then it was the Mexicans; now we eat the food from the farms they work at. Then it was the Arabs; now we're fighting for their statehood. Then it was the Koreans; now we have their appliances in our kitchens and cell phones in our hands. Now it's the South East Asian's turn at discrimination and the labelling of those "very dirty people." You'll get over it soon enough and become friends with the Pakistani restaurant owner down the street, or you'll move to Woodstock and enjoy your cultural homogeneity, before the next wave of "others" from some new place around the world threatens your sense of 'I was here first' mentality and ownership of being Canadian. FFS!

I am disgusted by what Canada has become. The government has allowed a free for all to take place without checks and balances for their own profit…whether it’s votes for political mileage, money that is being invested by certain people groups that will help enrich the pockets of government or whatever the reason - has caused this country to descend to the dumps st a rate faster than it takes to say ‘Oh Canada’.
As an immigrant, I have seen the degeneration within the country (particularly Toronto & GTA) in 10 years. Sometimes it feels like you’re in a different country, with a different language other than English or French, individuals who refuse to adopt the traditional Canadian lifestyle, who are allowed in with little value for system and order, allowed to procreate and ‘raise’ children who don’t appreciate the Canadian values, both born and immigrants using crime as their currency to their warped perception of wealth and an whole history of issues that impact the lives of the average law and culturally abiding citizen.
Oh there’s so much more that can be said about the state of this nation, but if there are bold-faced chants about who will be ruling Canada by 2060, those that have the power to do something need to pay VERY CLOSE ATTENTION. That is not just wishful thinking. That is a threat that will come to pass if a blind eye and a deaf ear is turned which, the government seems bent on doing.
A word to the wise is sufficient.

It’s sad being a born Canadian and watching the land I love turn into an income battleground. Nobody wants to hire someone with the thought of training. They want people with experience but won’t give the experience to those who lived here and need it. They’d rather hire someone from somewhere else that has experience and then fails to follow through as the born and raised person given the opportunity would. The amount I’ve seen white people fight to work and work fighting to keep their job burning themselves out when they’re easily replaceable by someone for a fraction of the cost and needing 3 people in their place since most immigrants are extremely lazy, especially after getting the pr. I’ve watched so many eastern Indians start to work full time. Hardly do anything until they get their card then drop off the map of actual work being done only to move to Ontario. Meanwhile I apply to countless jobs and don’t get one call back in 2 years with experience. Don’t even get me started on housing..

Well, I'll put it this way like I said for many, many, many years, while over 20 years, I already bought this s*** between what Trudeau did, and now, what, you know, art Kearney is doing that piece of s***. He is turning Canada into a European nation. You watch once joined the European Union and then the richer get richer, there'll be no oil class, the poor be poor and guess what, when you look at the European Union, they are all about one ruled government. One world order wake up this whole entire immigration thing is a f****** joke. From my aunt's opinion and yes, that normally filters on. So it doesn't exactly say all the swear words, my apologies, but no born and raised canadian, and this is a d*** joke, they want to turn around and keep on pushing us and pushing us well.Maybe soon enough, they're real canadian people push back car needed, begets, sent back to the us and a box everybody else who came here. There's no want to fall at our rules.Arborgulations are way of culture.Get the f*** back, where'd ever held country? You came from him because guess what time is ticking tiktok?Tiktok, revenge, you can a snap, and when we do all you immigrants, carney, evernels fit in or f*** off

We're not turning on immigrants. We're turning on our government. We pay 45% of our wages for services not rendered. I'm over it

Sane New Yorkers must, I say must, unite, rise up and take the strongest stand against their politicians and dim-whit voters! If they're in agreement with this insanity & rebellion then cut this state off from all federal funding and let New Yorkers pay for these illegals all by themselves. I don't want my tax dollars paying for any illegals. Especially when there are so many Americans living on the streets and/or not even getting by with this failed & fraudulent economy the Democrat Party has given us. Democrat voters aren't being kind and compassionate by wanting them here. They are enabling these people and by doing so, preventing them from growing up and raising their consciousness into a higher state of mind. By wanting to protect criminals, pedophiles, rapists, murderers, thieves, violence and rebellion from being deported, they're displaying for America they're psychology/consciousness of a death wish. This is a psychology of death and failure!!! The Democrat politicians and voters didn't vote for President Trump's agenda but the vast majority of We the People most certainly did. Chuck Shumer, Maxine Waters, all Democrat politicians and Democrat voters, YES, WE DID AND WE WON THE BATTLE!!! \n\nThese illegals are not weak and needing help. They're now uniting, protesting and waving their country's flag against their deportation, which they absolutely have no rights in America to do so. They have no rights here!!! That takes gall, audacity showing their rebellion against American voters and an unreality in their third world psychology to believe they do. We have been forced to deal with this abusive, violent third world psychology for far too long. They have a strong willpower so return to their country, unite there, raise their flags there and rebel against their corrupt government! They don't belong here as they don't have America's vibration. They just continue demanding and taking America by violent force. They are using and abusing tax payers' money and their goal of turning America into their violent third world hellishness must stop now! When they want to become part of America, get in line and make application in our legal immigration program. These illegals do not rate higher than those who are coming here legally!!!

an example of how the foreign policy and immigration policies are colliding. It sounds more like they're converging together as a single cohesive policy. Do you think you can just turn everything around and that makes sense

Colombia's President said >>>> Trump, I don't really like travelling to the US, it's a bit boring, but I confess that there are some commendable things. I like going to the black neighbourhoods of Washington, where I saw an entire fight in the US capital between blacks and Latinos with barricades, which seemed like nonsense to me, because they should join together.
\n
\nI confess that I like Walt Whitman and Paul Simon and Noam Chomsky and Miller
\n
\nI confess that Sacco and Vanzetti, who have my blood, are memorable in the history of the USA and I follow them. They were murdered by labor leaders with the electric chair, the fascists who are within the USA as well as within my country
\n
\nI don't like your oil, Trump, you're going to wipe out the human species because of greed. Maybe one day, over a glass of whiskey, which I accept, despite my gastritis, we can talk frankly about this, but it's difficult because you consider me an inferior race and I'm not, nor is any Colombian.
\n
\nSo if you know someone who is stubborn, that's me, period. You can try to carry out a coup with your economic strength and your arrogance, like they did with Allende. But I will die in my law, I resisted torture and I resist you. I don't want slavers next to Colombia, we already had many and we freed ourselves. What I want next to Colombia are lovers of freedom. If you can't accompany me, I'll go elsewhere. Colombia is the heart of the world and you didn't understand that, this is the land of the yellow butterflies, of the beauty of Remedios, but also of the colonels Aureliano Buendía, of which I am one, perhaps the last.
\n
\nYou will kill me, but I will survive in my people, which is before yours, in the Americas. We are peoples of the winds, the mountains, the Caribbean Sea and of freedom.
\n
\nYou don't like our freedom, okay. I don't shake hands with white slavers. I shake hands with the white libertarian heirs of Lincoln and the black and white farm boys of the USA, at whose graves I cried and prayed on a battlefield, which I reached after walking the mountains of Italian Tuscany and after being saved from Covid.
\n
\nThey are the United States and before them I kneel, before no one else.
\n
\nOverthrow me, President, and the Americas and humanity will respond.
\n
\nColombia now stops looking north, looks at the world, our blood comes from the blood of the Caliphate of Cordoba, the civilization of that time, of the Roman Latins of the Mediterranean, the civilization of that time, who founded the republic, democracy in Athens; our blood has the black resistance fighters turned into slaves by you. In Colombia is the first free territory of America, before Washington, of all America, there I take refuge in its African songs.
\n
\nMy land is made up of goldsmiths who worked in the time of the Egyptian pharaohs and of the first artists in the world in Chiribiquete.
\n
\nYou will never rule us. The warrior who rode our lands, shouting freedom, who is called Bolívar, opposes us.
\n
\nOur people are somewhat fearful, somewhat timid, they are naive and kind, loving, but they will know how to win the Panama Canal, which you took from us with violence. Two hundred heroes from all of Latin America lie in Bocas del Toro, today's Panama, formerly Colombia, which you murdered.
\n
\nI raise a flag and as Gaitán said, even if it remains alone, it will continue to be raised with the Latin American dignity that is the dignity of America, which your great-grandfather did not know, and mine did, Mr. President, an immigrant in the USA,
\n
\nYour blockade does not scare me, because Colombia, besides being the country of beauty, is the heart of the world. I know that you love beauty as I do, do not disrespect it and you will give it your sweetness.
\n
\nFROM TODAY ON, COLOMBIA IS OPEN TO THE ENTIRE WORLD, WITH OPEN ARMS, WE ARE BUILDERS OF FREEDOM, LIFE AND HUMANITY.
\n
\nI am informed that you impose a 50% tariff on the fruits of our human labor to enter the United States, and I do the same.
\n
\nLet our people plant corn that was discovered in Colombia and feed the world

These people don't understand that President Trump don't play around. He will literally bring tanks and the Army down there. And these people are going to have to turn around and go back whether they want to or not, but what's going to happen is they're going to assault police officers they're going to assault army people and they're going to get shot and then you're going to have the media. Covering it like it's the Army's fault that they had to defend themselves. The media should be ashamed of themselves. The Democrats should be ashamed of themselves, telling these people they can come here and live for free when the Americans have already spoken and said they cannot. These government officials forget they work for us. We do not work for them, but they seem to think that they control everything. This is where we the American people need to take our country back. We have to stop letting democrats think that they can control everything that happens because if they keep thinking that they are untouchable, or that they can keep controlling everything. What do you think going to happen to this country? We are already in the worst times we have ever been in in the USA period but the Democrats just keep going and going and going by giving these people free handouts and then expecting us not to say no, we can't handle them more of them. They are trying to overrun us, because what's going to happen is they're going to keep trying to let them come in, they are doing this for a vote. Do you not understand that the Democrats lost an election in a landslot? They figured if they can allow 40 or 50 million more to come in that they can stay in power for the rest of their time on this Earth until Jesus returned. That's what their plan is Their plans not to help Americans. They're planning to keep these people coming in, giving them free handouts, because they need votes, why don't people understand what's going on? If you bring in a 100 million for the illegal immigrants, they will vote single-handedly every time for Democrats, which will keep them in power, which will keep us homeless, which will keep American citizens begging for food, but they will still be giving these people free handouts from the American taxpayer. Now, what's going to happen is if these people actually get jobs instead of under-the-table where they have to pay taxes, they will quit working. They will quit working. Then the american taxpayer will be without a job. Then the immigrants won't work, and then you'll have a society where nobody's working doing nothing because the governments took all their money

Canadians Screaming about how Unethical Trump is for cracking down on illegal immigrants with criminal records…\nAnd then we turn around and say we don’t want them.\n\nCanadians need to get over this attitude that they’re better than everybody…they’re not.

There's a piece missing in the puzzle. Has anyone asked where's Mexico in all of this? everyone seems to forget that they're America's southern neighbor, and they're not helping with anything to mitigate the border crisis. Mexico has to be sanctioned, because they're not actively partaking in the protection of the shared border with the US, they're allowing immigrants to cross the border unchecked, sparing themselves the trouble of dealing with them. They're throwing the ball in America's court, making immigration America's problem. Since they share the border with America, they have an obligation to combat illegal immigrantion but they're not doing that. They want to get rid of their crimnals and the poverty in their country not by enforcing the law and trying to invest in their infrastructure to enhance the living standards of their people, instead they're encouraging them to move to America to find a better life. America doesn't have to pay the price of Mexico being a failed country. They're turning their backs on their own citizens and trying to get rid of them, obliging them to take the perilous journey across the border where they're prone to crime, drugs, rape, human trafficking, sex trafficking, child abuse and all sorts of tragedies but to them the ends justify the means, and they have the nerves to call America racist and inhumane for not rescuing them from the situation that they created for them in the first place. Since the vast majority of illegal immigrants came across the border with Mexico, they should be deported back to Mexico, and Mexico can take it from there, not our problem anymore

What they should do is hit pause on immigration. I believe they should grandfather in those who arrived prior to a specified year.\n\nI’m sure the majority is ok with immigration. JUST DO IT LEGALLY and for the gov to stop over extending our taxes and money. \n\nAmerica should come first. Americans have been put on the back burner while illegal immigrants get way more help which in turn hurts the very people who were born and raised here. We got people and children starving in this very country yet have a helping hand for those who don’t live here, came illegally or even like us. \n\nSo put the pause on and help Americans then help others. Other countries have stricter policies than we do and they’re thriving. and I believe don’t have as many issues as we do. \n\nAmerica leaders need to look into how other successful countries are running things and see how they can implement or improve on those.

Yes...if you're here illegally, the law should be followed. But she's too narrow minded to see the big picture that her people are just scapegoats for him to gain power. He said immigrants have bad genes (eugenics)...genes that she shares with her illegal family??♀️ When it's her turn, there will be no one left to stand up for her.

That magic number that Canadians would like to get to is ZERO. We've already taken in more than we're equipped to deal with and need a complete halt to further immigration. If your kitchen sink was overflowing, the first thing you would do would be to turn off the taps and then deal with the problem.

Indians undermind the efforts of Canadian businesses and work standards. For example, Indians running shipping cans out of Vancouver far cheaper than natural born Canadians. It took transport drivers years to raise the amount we're paid, Indians destroyed our efforts in weeks. Then there's the infiltration of Brampton turning it into Bramladesh.\nThe Commonwealth is dead, immigrants need to go home, they are NOT wanted here!

The thing is, if they came here to “study” and actually got a degree in something that could benefit Canada, they would be offered the opportunity to stay. \nHow are all there “students” leaving these schools with nothing to offer, other than working at convenience stores and cabs?\nThe entire point of post secondary is to gain knowledge and skills for future employment. \nThey we’re obviously never interested in gaining an actual education, only a past track to permanent residence. \nThere are immigration “consultants” that advertise on TikTok in Punjabi, out of Brampton, that apply on their behalf to take advantage of loopholes on our system that turn visitor visas into work visas. Absolutely disgusting.

I’m a Korean American who has lived here my entire life since birth. I have lived in many other places and the thing about immigrants is they ALWAYS share the same traits wherever they go. \nI live in an affluent area and whenever the immigrants from poor countries come in they all do the same things…throw trash and litter everywhere, the attitude of “I made it just like you therefore I deserved to be treated like a king”..telling them to turn down the music at 2am and not understanding why so instead you are met with argumentative resistance instead of them just saying “hey we’re sorry won’t happen again, we don’t want to be that guy in this neighborhood. Our apologies” but nope. They continue to do it night after night and the audacity to even get angry. The crowding of all of their families in disrepspectful ways such as cutting in line while everyone else is patiently waiting, if there is free samples of food, they will group up and annihilate whatever they are offering not even caring about anyone else but their own. Leaving a very bad image for us East Asians when people from the red flag dragon nation come in droves. Being extremely loud in public while talking about petty nonsensical things most times but they yell and laugh not caring whoever else is around. Even if the room is quiet they have zero situational awareness, never putting things back when they grab them from stores or gym etc. they expect someone to pickup and do this for them. The entitlement ?….if something is on sale they don’t understand to take just one or two, they have to take the entire box so no one else can get it. \nI his list never ends and they don’t understand why people don’t want them living in their countries. It’s not just Germany it’s everywhere. \nHow do you expect people to like you when you make it difficult to do so.

I came back to Canada in 2022 after 20 years living abroad, and it's been a mixed bag. Getting a good job is extremely difficult as international experience is rarely factored into potential employers decisions to hire - even if the companies you've worked for are Fortune 500. If you didn't work for that company in Canada, good luck getting the same position. You'll be working in a junior position despite your previous job title. My wife is currently going through this. She went from Project Manager at one for largest companies in the world to junior developer at a small company. Pay is.......not great.\n\nI've been lucky with having a lot of support of family and friends. A lot of the clients I've started to work with in my profession came through people I know. I never would have got these opportunities on my own in that amount of time. It would have taken years. Nepotism played a big part.\n\nTo come to Canada, and start a new life without a solid support system would be absolutely brutal right now. I got really lucky, but my situation isn't normal. I wouldn't recommend anyone (Canadian or immigrant) to come back right now if they're been gone for a long time. The rent alone is enough to turn anyone away.

The final scene at the new Canadians rally is nice to see. But what you’re not seeing are the THOUSANDS of people who aren’t success stories. People who bring nothing to the party but still need a place to live. I’m fine with immigration, I think Canada is a better place for being diverse. But you can’t just keep the tap on when the glass is already full. We need to turn off the immigration spigot for a while, catch up to get our services and housing to a level that is workable, then look at turning it back on with a smarter outlook on the numbers to bring in.

I'm an indian immigrant to Canada myself, my family moved here in the 00s. We worked hard to integrate and build a new life for ourselves here. The new migrants are a disgrace and an embarrassment. I hope the govt does something to address this soon, they're turning canada into a slum

Immigration is great when it's a steady flow of people of all incomes and backgrounds with background checks, with the opportunity to integrate. Not millions of people all at once turning Canada into the country they're from, creating ghettos, and straining and destroying Canada's social care system.

We brought in immigrants because we needed skilled labour. The immigrants came and worked at Fast Food establishments instead. Canada didn't address the skilled labour shortage how they should have, INVEST IN CANADIANS. Education is far too expensive for the essential trades and sectors and health care especially is no longer desirable because they're treated poorly and overworked. They should have fixed the issue at its core. Instead they brought in people they didn't properly vet. We also didn't have the resources to bring in so many people (housing, jobs, healthcare, education) so some (especially in BC/ ON) have turned to crime and gangs.

Congrats Canada! I said years ago that if your immigrants have no desire to assimilate then you're just going to turn into the UK. Good luck

The problem is with how immigration is set up. The general population is ok with immigration as long as most people coming in adapt at least somewhat to Canadian culture while integrating their own.\n\nI'd say thats what Trudeau had/has in mind cause thats what Montreal is like. \nBut its like that cause the Quebec government focuses on secularism & French Nationality which creates a sort of blended dynamic that's still uniquely Quebecois.\n\nThat doesnt work so well in other Provinces.\n\nAlternately, the goverment may be trying to turn Canada into a true melting pot, which would create a different Canadian culture and identity than we currently have. \n\nHowever, that only works out when you bring in an equal # of people from different Countries wnd ethnicities.\n\nWhat we have right now is a system that seems to bring a certain percentage of immigrants per Country. Using that math, India and China will always send out more people as they're the most populous and crowded. Hence why Eastern Canada has a lot of Indian immigrants and Western has a lot of Chinese.\n\nThe government will need to get a handle on it and at least even it out if not also slow the flow, lest we risk a rise in xenophobia/isolationism and racism which has already started to make the rounds.

Western Canadian here. Moved away from the coast last year because of the ideological capture and literally watching the community dissolve and collapse in front of my eyes. Overwhelming drug abuse and a lack of policing or care for the general population. \n\nThe state of this country is sad. Yesterday was Canada Day, our July 4th. Virtually no flags or positive sentiment. What do we have to be proud of?\n\nI want to be clear here, I don’t blame the the immigrant populations for coming here, I blame the people that allowed them to come with ZERO plan for how to ensure they’re taken care of while not negatively impacting native Canadians.\n\nThe government created this problem, they can fix it but choose not to and instead turn us all against each other when we should be pointing the finger at the powers that be.\n\nBut I’m sure for this opinion they’ll show up at my place later for wrong think so it’s been swell everyone.\n\nGood luck out there in this absolute clown show. Until we get lobbying and money out of politics internationally we’re fucking doomed.

Canada has basically turned into India at this point they have learned how to scam our soft immigration system while it’s almost impossible for people from other parts of the world to immigrate here. So much for diversity if you’re not Punjabi you will be the minority in Canada soon!!

* Look at what's happening in Birmingham, UK because it will happen in Canada.\nStop assuming Canada can afford generous welfare, unemployment insurance, pensions and health care plans forever. Canada does not have national daycare or dental programs for all Canadians of all ages. This isn't about historically colonized who. It's about whether or not Canada is heading towards being a 3rd world country right now. Go ahead and have the federal government let in, 5 million people from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Syria and Nigeria. Canada is in a serious recession, and high inflation has forced many Canadian families to turn to foodbanks. Stop assuming you can afford to buy houses that cost $1-$2 millon dollars in the major cities. Stop assuming if you're an international student, that all your problems will be solved if you get Canadian citizenship. Stop assuming you can bring over your spouse and they can get easy work visas and your elderly parents can get easy Canadian pensions. Yes, there are no guarantees in life, but immigration consultants aren't instructing you to be realistic about immigrating to Canada even if you are a nurse, studied in STEMs or structural engineering etc. Alberta could start charging provincial taxes, Quebec could cut off their welfare. And other Canadian cities could stop collecting garbage all the time and not fix their roads because many people can't afford to pay their property taxes due to high employment. The globalists want 15 minutes cities. The federal government is assuming massive immigration will solve Canada's aging population. It won't. Health care is actually better in 2nd and 3rd countries if you have the money. Even if your home country is at war, it's still better than the drug crisis in the major cities of Canada. No joke. Now, does everyone get it? Canada can not afford to pay for any social programs, even with taxing the middle class to death. This isn't about racism or blaming any mirgants it's about corrupt dishonest politicians who will increase the number of children living in poverty. Canada is the worst place to immigrate to! Do proper research!

@4:20. You should either support this immigrant hypothesis with more information or you should cut it out of your video. Canada is one of the least densely populated major countries and the problem for your housing prices is less than 1M immigrants over the past 2years? And you're going to lead your causes of this problem with that? Give me a break.\nSpend more time on WHY building new houses is not profitable enough and is disincentivized. Talk about how incentivizing home ownership as a wealth building vehicle turned into a bubble and a ponzi scheme as those housing investments outpaced other investments. You know who can still afford to buy up houses, hold them, and prevent the market from deflating? Corporations. Shifting taxes that hurt poor people (like income and sales taxes) onto land value taxes would stop most of this. It would become expensive to sit on vacant investment houses and corporations and landlords would be forced to sell them.

Highly skilled immigrants from India are always welcome anywhere, like in the US where they have added tlmutiple times to the economy. Canada, unfortunately, is importing from Punjab ,low skilled labour that eats into Candian quality of life. These youth from Punjab can't integrate and is a burden to the economy, as they rake up zero value adding jobs. Truck driving and RE realtor don't add any value to the economy. Thanks the NDP and Liberals for encouraging import of Punjabis, who they turn into their vote bank.

There are too many, but it is the government’s fault. In the last couple of years Canada accepted 500k student immigrants, about 250k were from India. The other 250k were from different countries. The Canadian government has made no effort to assimilate them, so they act as if they are India, which stokes resentment from locals. In addition, they practice discriminatory hiring practices – hiring only Indians, when you confront them about it, they say you’re being racist but when in fact they are the ones being racist by hiring only Indians. Stoking more resentment. A lot of their student visas are set to expire, but the Canadian has given them an extension which in turn will give them more points to get their PR cards. Prolonging the current housing shortage. I believe everyone deserves a fair opportunity, but the Canadian government has given preference to a country that is clearly undermining it to a point where they are carrying out assassinations on Canadian soil. The assassins came here on student visas. The current Canadian government is ruining the cultural fabric of this country. Stephen Harper was a great prime minister after all.

There's hundreds of YouTube posts online precisely like this post. \nI'm not going to get into how long my family's been in Canada . Because it comes off as like a bragging or a snobbery and I don't go for that. I just want to put it out there Canada is not a destination for purely economic exploitation. \nIt's a place you know for people who I saw people from the former Yugoslavia comment online. Their parents were extremely happy to get out of there in the 90s.. you know they left in the 90s and it's what 2024 . First sight of hard economic Times they decide to pick up and go. \nYou know not a lot of loyalty. But I think you're going to be happier going back home for skin is a free country or free to do that and I wish you all the luck \nLet's see 2 weeks ago I had an accident at work I got four stitches in my scalp I was in and out of emergency in 5 hours which I thought was reasonable.. last week of came down with stomach flu and went to the walk-in clinic it opened at 9:00 I was at 9:15 I waited 10 minutes saw the doctor . I live in Calgary Alberta Canada which is the third or fourth biggest city of Canada experiencing record migration into the town so yeah there's big pressure on new housing. \nI just like to put it out there that I love California and raised lots of generations here not a fanatical American now you know Canada first kind of you know raw raw patriotic Canadian. You know I love my country I'm proud of it proud of my answers and all the couple hundred years of hard work they put in it you have to make this country livable for extremely cold Northern geographic location.\nNow I have a large extended family Oliver Canada the United States Mexico Australia New Zealand parts of Africa England Ireland Scotland Denmark France. \nI've been very fortunate to be able to keep up with this huge family especially because of the internet now. \nSo I keep we talk regularly online and we do business with each other a little bit and some of the countries and Canada's doing reasonably well regarding the job market cost of living and you know those sorts of things. \nYou know we've gone through covid pandemic whatever you want to call that shut the economy down for a couple years worldwide. The worst mistake during the pandemic lockdown in Canada was the government shoveling out free money and people reinvesting it back into their real estate. So you have billions of Canadians locked out of their jobs big shovel taxpayer money and they all just started renovating their homes. To the point where sheets of plywood were you couldn't find them and they went up 100 times and price. Solo's hundreds of billions of dollars that the government's going to take back and taxes from us all draw the cost of housing through the roof. Instead of at the time redirecting half of those two it was 500 billion take a half of that investment in putting it into infrastructure technology innovation for industries. Our education systems from kindergarten through to postsecondary education and spending it on the Canadians that were here. We've turned our post-secondary institutions in Canada into diploma Mills where you know your VA and your you know postgraduate degrees or you know they're worthless. However the government and the education system grew into a very profitable industry grinding out worthless degree after worthless degree for foreign students who thought when they got these degrees with 50% of Canadians have. People have to realize that post-secondary education is a big business so they're going to sell you a dream that's going to cost you a lot of money what I suggest is when YouTubers want to do something on Canada do some proper research let people know that we really do have quality post-secondary education system but you have to look at when you graduate those jobs going to be there to pay that large salary does White collar jobs are disappearing almost gone I purchase an app for my company with small company about 10 employees this inexpensive app alone has taken my office staff from 7: to 2: I have a 10 Red seal tradesman tradeswomen these 10 highly skilled trades people earn between 125 and 145,000 a year in gross salary and I need five more of these highly skilled people and I can't find them cuz everybody's running in to get a useless postgraduate degree. I do find it slightly offensive that a lot of new immigrants new Canadians immigrate to Canada to purely exploit it for its wealth Canada should be looked at as a place to come put your hard work in the struggles the ups and downs? and look at it as your home instead of you know a piggy bank but people are going to leave and there's a long line up to get in I've seen in my 40 year career you know three major reps and three major downs. What's happening in Canada's economy and the economies around the world it's all the same the US economy's doing quite well and talked to last couple of weeks friends that have invested their and families have been there long-term at present the United States is building a war economy so there's money pouring into that effort it does have a booming you know Hi-Tech boom as well however the tech boom is offshore with American companies and it's taking place in a part of the world that no one would think it would take place so if your graduate in the tech industry go online do a little research you'll find out where it is the USA is building a huge chip factories I think they just poured in 70 or 80 billion dollars we're in a transitioning economy don't get discouraged put your head into it do your homework find out where these new jobs are coming from which jobs are not going to be here. Traditional White collar you know middle management upper management jobs they've been gone for years everyone's think of themselves as an independent contractor. Also if you're a millennial or was a gen z person there's going to be a massive transfer of wealth over the next 20 to 30 years as baby boomers simply die off and then you guys are going to inherit their money I live in any one of the g7 economies I just got to find your niece with your qualifications and get in there and innovate because there's not one g7 country that significantly doing better than anyone else another interesting part of the world is East Africa I'm retiring there in 5 years I've already done my homework I've already got partners I've already started to train up people there in East Africa Canada and those parts of the world they have East Africa's great basic infrastructure so now that they've got their first level base of infrastructure a second economy is built off at the service that basic infrastructure that basic infrastructure allows for that second layer a bigger layer of investment you know and that's where the real money is for mid-level investors and you know highly educated Young westerners have got 10 years into their respective careers and these are also very beautiful countries you know so you can if you got family in Canada family in Europe India Asia you know you can start building networks collaborate on projects you know in these you know emerging economies you know mid-level economies but that's you know a good 20-year grind to get good at your career and build your confidence to go into these places and get these things done also you know it's a great life adventure but never expect just because you have an advanced degree that the door even come knocking down your door to employ you if you're going to wait for the opportunity to come to you you're going to be waiting forever you got to take your advanced degrees get out there and hustle and work hard man Canada's doing fine about four or five years it's you know it's going to take off next level and it's going to boom for 40 years and it's never going to get any cheaper in g7 countries Amy's emerging economies his pockets around the world they're starting to come up to in the window to get into these emerging economies with your advanced degrees it's closing if you don't make it if you don't start looking at it in the next 5 years your degrees are going to be gone useless and if you do decide to put your career in these emerging economies like Asia South America Central America Africa do it for the right reasons not just for money we don't want to make the same mistakes as like the industrial Revolution where a few people get rich and the people in that country you know don't get anything have respect for these countries employ their people and you have to get into these places before all the big corporations get set up there cuz they're they're going there Canada's a great place as a great time free medical system and I urge anybody that's feeling down or depressed in Canada you know to go get some therapy join some clubs talk to people don't get down and mostly don't you know don't give up on yourself you guys made it through you know Elite post-secondary education system and if you can if you can do that I mean you can you can do anything a lot of hard work ahead truly best of luck to all you guys

I'd be careful about mentioning an increase in immigration as a source of a problem here without providing any evidence of how that's specifically harmful. \n\nYes, we have an influx in international students - often underinformed young people scouted by private companies in places like India who are gravely mislead on what to expect once arriving in Canada. International students specifically are facing tons of injustice and being used as cash cows by companies and our government, since international tuition is much higher than domestic tuition. \n\nBut right now, skilled immigrants are helping build our cities back up. It takes a lot of people to plan, design and build infrastructure, to repopulate failing systems (cough cough, healthcare), etc. We're in a recession and individual industries are struggling a lot right now - but not because of immigrant workers. In fact, they are picking up slack, taking jobs no one else wants to do, and keeping the gears of our society turning.
