As a teen Pakistani Canadian who was born in Canada I totally agree, to move countries is to adapt to new ways of living, new values and respecting lands on which they inhabit. Indians mostly come here and start living the way they used to effectively turning Canada into new India… all I’m saying is I don’t mind respectful people but if you come here acting like it’s your motherland you need to learn to respect the culture and land here.

Needs to be even tighter but since its been so high fir so long it may be too late. Ive seen young Canadians who canet find work and may have to move to the US for good futures some have already started and taking their skills with them. Canada dies not need high levels it needs more affordable homes, better paying jobs, etc do they can have kids and increase the population organically. I love Punjabi people, they are high class and they surprise me when they tell me they were farmers before coming to canada because I don't get that rugged vibe from them. That guy at 2:50 was purhaps the most honest 'white' guy you will meet. The fact is Indians didn't take over, the upper class just decided to move north to Bolton or more west to the Halton area. Over time enough Indians replaced them to basically take over important roles like police officers and political positions. Eventually just like East Asians have Markham and parts of Scarborough, the south Asians had a high enough population for Brampton to be considered their home turf. Eventually though it was the student visas that drove Canadians crazy. Millions of students in record time and I believe there was an additional 4 million who came on temporary work visas during covid, eventually Canadians got annoyed. Personally I don't see any problem with it as long as we keep building apartments and homes for the new immigrants to rent and live it doesn't bother me. I would like to see three times more immigration especially from Europe as this country is super underpopulated and we need people to open factories and build companies that will strengthen Canada as a whole and employ our own not just send money back to their countries. So its not an invasion we just need come to a place of understanding and learn to work together. I will finish with the one negative; there truly is a massive lack of assimilation and this may prove to be more of a problem than we realize but I won't go into it. At this point, I'm over every culture. We have been conditioned in the West to think that we have no culture, we need to embrace, worship, and accept everyone else's culture. Really over it. We have built a beautiful way of life in the western world and we should work harder to preserve it. I've been to India. Although I like most Indians that come to our part of the world, WE DO NOT WANT OUR COUNTRY TURNING INTO INDIA (or any other country/culture for that matter). Break down from a Canadian who moved to the US. Basically, Indians moved to Brampton because it was a cheaper area, yet close enough to Toronto. Immigrants drove taxi or drove truck usually were paid in cash, leading to tax evaluation. So they were able to save more... They were able to buy a bigger house for cheaper basically. New immigrants move to Brampton probably cause it easier. They don't need to assimilate as much as they sued to. They can speak their own language, not have to learn another, etc. You can actually see certain immigrant groups take to certain cities for the reasons above. Vaughn is Italian, Etobicoke was multi cultural, now Somalian(last I visited), sauga is Arab, etc The universities are a big scam, and the govt is part of it. They don't care cause they get money.... People create these fake colleges and bring in students. Students have "online" classes and so they don't actually go in . In Canada ur allowed to work 20 hours as a student, but all work more under the table. And yes. As a Punjabi, there is too many Indians. It was too many when I left. Worse now.. don't even like visiting Canada anymore unless I go to Barrie or something.

Bro I'm Punjabi and I'm born in Brampton. Many people in my generation are integrated and we do more "Canadian" things that "Punjabi" things. People scapegoat Brampton and immigrants for the government failing to build and honour housing or infrastructure for the last 30 years. Of course there needs to be reforms on immigration but for the everyday person It’s way easier to blame a random brown guy for high rent than to admit the system is, and has been, broken by design. People have been moving, trading, and mixing for thousands of years.

I live in Brampton. And all I can say is thanks for visiting and spreading the word on this problem. I was born in Brampton, and my mother tells me about how much it's changed. Many of my friends and family friends have moved to other neighborhoods POST mosques being put up near their homes. And let's not talk about employment and foreign "students". I was lucky to get a job last summer at a family owned small business Ice Cream store right after high school. We even got a review saying we weren't diverse enough despite us being a group of White, East Asian and Black employees lol. And many people say if your not Indian and your getting your drivers test, you go out of Brampton to do the test because you'll likely get discriminated by who is running the test. It's absolutely absurd. It sounds like tin foil hat sh*t, but if you live here like me everything comes full circle. But ofc there are good ones, but they are typically the westernized ones, who have assimilated, they play or watch hockey and have developed a Canadian accent. But the majority haven't assimilated, they are likely first generation, and they do things like stuff 15+ people in one suburban home. And just small things like staring at you in public (idk why their community stares you down), they spit on sidewalks, and they use some crazy a$$ spices when they cook. The smell carries over for blocks and you know your in deep Brampton territory when your driving and that smell of spicy curry hits you and you gotta roll up them windows lol. It's a nasty smell. This mass migration is a huge issue and needs awareness.

My grandparents immigrated here from Jamaica and certain groups have made the word immigration annoying and obnoxious now. It’s not even immigration at this point it’s just a full take over and a blatant disrespect for our country. Don’t follow the rules, aren’t compliant , protesting that Canadians don’t respect them and that they should stay there even if the visa is up, demanding money, buying all businesses and blatantly not hiring Canadians because they aren’t of a certain race. It’s extremely disrespectful and we need to start sticking up for the people of this country and have tighter rules and regulations to get in. Disappointed in our country…we’ve failed. What happened to the old school immigrants that would come in work hard build wealth and have pride in moving to Canada. It’s really the younger generation of immigrants that are entitled and stupid. And this is coming from a young person. Some of the immigrants (if you know you know) aren’t even that good at their job, they careless do it half ass and expect tips and that certain details will go unnoticed because they didn’t earn the job they just showed up and were handed the job.

It's nothing against a certain group, these problems occur if you let in too many people from one place, it's called ghettoization. If too many Canadians moved to India, for example, they would form communities large enough that they don't really integrate. Immigration is fine, as Canadians it's always been our strength, but the jobs aren't keeping up. If the jobs become there, we need to mix up the countries, we can't have more Indians.

It’s sad being a born Canadian and watching the land I love turn into an income battleground. Nobody wants to hire someone with the thought of training. They want people with experience but won’t give the experience to those who lived here and need it. They’d rather hire someone from somewhere else that has experience and then fails to follow through as the born and raised person given the opportunity would. The amount I’ve seen white people fight to work and work fighting to keep their job burning themselves out when they’re easily replaceable by someone for a fraction of the cost and needing 3 people in their place since most immigrants are extremely lazy, especially after getting the pr. I’ve watched so many eastern Indians start to work full time. Hardly do anything until they get their card then drop off the map of actual work being done only to move to Ontario. Meanwhile I apply to countless jobs and don’t get one call back in 2 years with experience. Don’t even get me started on housing..

As a proud Canadian I am so very done with these immigrants literally bombarding and overwhelming our beautiful country. We, Canadians need to come together. Unite. Deny all immigrants. I’m tired of hearing about these people that are not Canadian, not born here, migrated here, and are doing so many sickening illegal things to OUR PEOPLE. Kidnappings. Abductions. Stalking single women. Stealing. Squatting in homes and properties. All that with no consequences. Zero. None. And yet they receive all the jobs. All the income. I have never understood why these immigrants all of a sudden bombarded our small towns and cities like swarms of rodents or insects and expect to be welcomed with open arms. It seemed like it happened overnight! I remember seeing a few immigrants wearing their traditional towel wrap things on their heads in a mall one day and I was okay with it. Figured they were tourists or something and then BAM there are THOUSANDS of them moving in our towns and act like they own the place. Trying to intimidate US! In our OWN COUNTRY! It really angers me from within but at the same time I don’t want to come off as a racist or a hater or wtv. I’m not a racist by any means, but I am a very protective Canadian and I love my people and my country and I will help do whatever it takes to protect my country from immigrants and them thinking that they can push us around, intimidate us and try to act superior when they are the ones pretty much INVADING our beautiful, peaceful country. I'm Canadian. I've spend my entire adult life involved with everything immigration. I have no problem with immigration which to me is people moving. It offers great people and great things. I have a problem with women and children abused, in violence and almost killed and our resources which are suppose to help protect the men coming here doing this because as immigrants they have value and so support anything they do to innocent people here because they have more worth as human beings than people born, raised and who lived here all their lives. Two lives viciously destroyed to protect someone sick with hate who is chronic woman hater and abuser but he must be respected for it. As someone immersed all their life in "culture" domestic violence is not culture as in immigration it's abuse and a crisis brought here and then force by law respect for it when it is already here bc it is a planet problem. For people without a lifetime of knowledge you would be shocked if knew what people think and say about us living here and what they believe from complete ignorance. It is a belief everything is owed to make lives bigger and better for them above everyone else bc they suffered somewhere else but the assumption is every person in Canada had the opportunity born here that all people should be rich and if anyone is under that standard they deserve nothing and it should be given to everyone coming in. It is understood in some groups the purpose and wants of Canadian women is providing free services to immigrant men because this is how all Canadian women chose to live as women. The expectation of women is back to the stone age to obey, speak when given permission and respect abuse. Our authorities now back that up. Don't believe me you can see evidence. We are being forced by law to change. How many persons with criminal records are here in past decade was that recent news report? There's good and bad but if you don't respect the bad then see what happens to you because suddenly you will the bad one as a Canadian so be prepared to respect and appreciate everything you spent a lifetime believing you didn't have to. Some people could write an encyclopedia of wild and bizarre things and opinions and expectations of the views others have of life here and it would make most here all their lives want to flee and leave. There are two opposite meanings of what respect is. It amounts to respect them and everything bad and disrespectful to us or we have no respect any other names. This includes not one specific culture but numerous ones and I am referring to a different one than referenced in this video. Respect divided into two opposite meanings, ignorance, lack of care, abuse, hate and so many things which our government is permitting to happen and people are losing their physical lives and becoming physically and mentally ill and it is directly related to destroying Canadians living here, killing them to force a message of change of respects and persons need to die to force it.

You've got it wrong, super wealthy Western countries like Canada, the USA, UK, Scandinavian Nordic countries, Europe, and even Australia don't 'need' immigrants from 3rd/4th world countries. Super wealthy Western countries first priority is to its own native population and country first by investing in them. The new 180 stance on immigration is proof that these super wealthy Western countries are moving forward with stricter immigration policies, a push for increased mass deportation, eliminating Visa/Green Card Holders for certain groups, going after scam related to immigration, rescinding citizenship and deporting non-native populations a lot easier. As a Canadian citizen I have always admired the US up until now, I sincerely wanted to move to the US to build homes and start up a company. But now am re-evaluating my decision because if this how the US treats their friends and allies, I really feel sad for their enemies. I worked as a nurse in Florida when I first graduated. It was devastating to see how stressed people were about being hospitalized because they knew how their life finances were going to be wiped out. In Contrast Canadian patients only need to concentrate on being well again. \nWomens rights are being rapidly eroded in America. Childbirth is covered in Canada,abortions are legal and women get 1 year of paid maternity leave.\nOur children don’t have to participate in active shooter drills because of our tight gun laws. Our taxes are higher but the social networks are covered by these taxes. \nThe Canadian way of life is generally ,slower and ,I find, more accepting of immigrants, LGBTQ folks, and marginalized people.\nPersonally I moved back to Canada because I missed the change of seasons and the slower pace. Our Universities are heavily subsidized and Nurses and Doctors take advantage of this, If Trudeau/Pierre wants to stop our doctors and nurses who graduate going to the USA right after school, They should make them pay back the portion of their education that the taxpayers paid for and never received any healthcare from, It should be you have to work in Canada after graduating for 5 years before moving out of Canada, and if they do, then they pay around $150,000 to break the contract compounded with interest from when they started and finished university/college. I know someone who graduated Nursing in the 1990's, She went to a convention in Toronto, Where she was quickly swayed to move the USA, Its because Nursing here is a 3yr course in the USA its a 6 month course, they aren't educated nearly as much as Canadians, A Canadian nurse can be a GP in rural areas of the USA, Also the Nurse I know within a year was made head nurse of her ward, Bypassing USA Nurses that have been working at the hospital for 10+ years, due to the extra education, This is a big problem, we are educating Nurses and Doctors for the USA and other Nations funded by Taxpayers, Sure Nurses and Doctors do also pay some, but its closer to 1/3 of the actual cost, the other 2/3rd's is taxpayer funded. She's still working in the USA and still never helped 1 single Canadian. 30yrs later!!. I don't know about you, But I think this needs to be addressed and fixed once and for all.

On the other hand, refugees, given their unfortunate circumstances, really need to rely on a lot of social services and resources to help them resettle. The US has eliminated pretty much all non-humanitarian immigration that’s why immigrants are so demonized there. Americans only feel the drags of refugees and asylum seekers (even though ethically we need to protect them) and there is no selected immigration to balance that out. Yet this round of Canadian policy change is heading exactly that direction.\n\nIt used to be international students in Canada are not paying a lot more tuition than Canadian students. But Canadian universities saw how much money universities in the US are making so they asked the federal government to change the policy to enable them to charge international students several times the regular tuition (whereas in countries like France, international students actually pay less than citizens). So now Canadian universities rely too much on international students to operate and it becomes an exploitative relationship even before students step foot on the campus. The new PGWP eligibility is awful because students can make contributions in every field. It might (and that's a big if) address the pressing problems, but it won't help Canada grow.\n\nI thought the new language requirement was interesting. Some Canadians who immigrated decades ago when the bar was really low still speak English poorly and now they are saying people can’t come to Canada because their language skills are not sufficient. But I believe a good Canadian life is not about living in a high rise in Vancouver and Toronto, driving an expensive car, or buying luxury items...it's about the communities, nature and middle-class comfort. So the system is giving PRs to the wrong kind of people (just like mismatched people when hiring that don't align with company values).\n\nThis brings me to the last frustrating issue. There were so many people who attended “fake” universities and bought “fake” jobs to earn points to get an Express Entry invitation. And it's clear that the government wasn't proactively catching these abuses. They are taking up spots from those who try to earn the points fair and square. If I understand correctly, Canada doesn’t send these people away if they are found out (since some of them were scammed). So they still take up immigration quotas.\n\nI have wanted to move to Canada for a long time. I have visited Canada many times, hiking trails through the coastline and fjords, climbing mountains and glaciers. I lived in Montreal for two months to improve my French and I was told by my homestay family that I was the first student they had who didn’t complain about the cold (I wish the winter never ends so I can skate or xc ski in the parks year-round). I have probably seen more Canada than many Canadians and I love every bit of it. But the opportunity for me to even get a shot to move there is pretty much nonexistent now. If only there was a way for the system to allow people who really care about Canada to get a shot at being part of this beautiful country.\n\nThank you for making these videos.

Most are feeling quite entitled. My hat goes off to the young man who said they need to learn to assimilate and they are on a student visa. I am 110% Canadian meaning my heritage goes way back. I moved to Mississauga, On 13 years ago and just finally got a job of 16 hours a week in Home Care.\n\nHow many applications I sent to Wendy's, Walmart and Timmy's. The only people working in these jobs are Indians and Philipean'os. They take jobs away from Canadians but it is the government to blame.\n\nThey have no right to protest, they are not Canadian. They should be deported.

Yes the woke media thinks that Canadians should assimilate to the immigrants coming here but they don’t think the immigrants should assimilate to Canada. That won’t end well for Canada. If you moved to a different to a country you would be expected to assimilate to their culture and values, and you would out of respect. Canadians should expect the same level of respect. I don’t think they need to give up all their traditions but they do need to adapt to ours too. The good news though is that I believe that a lot of the younger Muslims coming to Canada will adapt to our values and culture because they are craving freedom:)

When migrant move to Canada they need to live same all Canadians and live there culture at the Canadians door but they need to have to adopt our values and follow our laws

And full disclaimer I live in Victoria, BC so I can share my POV from the Canadian side:\n\nThere's toomuch of low skilled cheap labour coming in from Punjab and other countries like Nigeria, Philippines, etc. Its gotten sooo bad now that even Indians living in Canada are feeling like this is not what we came for.\n\nI can't even start with how bad the immigration has gotten, people can barely and I mean barely speak English and they are working for all possible low skilled jobs. Tim Hortons, Uber delivery, Uber Cabs, Petrol pumps I mean what is going on.\n\nRight now its getting to Canadians, and you need to understand that Canadians need these low skilled jobs for themselves too but employers are finding extremely cheap labour from other places to replace Canadians.\n\nSo if you ask me this move is good, it will surely hurt the skilled labour class too but its needed. Imagine have a million immigrants coming in with a country that has a population of 40 million.\n\nThe infrastructure comes to a stand still, housing is ruined, food inflation begins. \n\nHonestly thanks to Diploma mills, Asylum seekers and gangs from Punjab, its honestly gotten bad from the Indian perspective. Now add to this others coming in from Africa and South East Asia and you can see this country get worse honestly.\n\nThis isn't hate against anyone, its just facts.

The visa process needs to be more strict. Being granted an International Student Visa should levy a higher threshold for long-term stay requirements after school. Also, the total years need to become a Citizen should be moved to 8 years, not 5. We need to uphold the integrity of what it means to be a Canadian, not allow and Tom Dick and Harry a Visa or PR just because they spend money here (Canada).
