A very large percentage of the people that they bring into the country under a Liberal government are likely to vote Liberal. That's a (practically) guaranteed stream of new Liberal voters to replace the old Liberal voters who have become disillusioned by the Liberal Party's actions. It has to stop. We need to vet EVERYONE who comes in and we shouldn't be giving them gold-plated health care until we've granted them refugee status or permanent residency and they should be told that up front so no one is shocked or feels cheated. If they know that and still come, they'll know what they're facing. If they choose not to come, they've made an informed decision.

Oil is heading to $40 per barrel. That's $50 billion dollars more debt PER YEAR than in 2024. When you add on the costs to finance that , you are looking at maybe $70 Billion deficit per year very soon. That is unstainable for such a small population. Then the separatists want to ad at least a trillion dollar loan, to leave Canada and service that debt. Where is all this massive wealth the separatist spew? Then she wants to wait another year for the people to tell her what to do about it. She is totally insane. Danielle, the worst Premiere in Alberta's history. I feel this video does cover what's happening but don't answer the question why its happening. Here's what i think- To start with - A major population of indian immigrants in Canada come from two provinces/states - Punjab and Gujarat. From Punjab - Most of the population who migrates to Canada are villagers. They are notoriously famous in Punjab cities as well for creating trouble. They have no civic sense, always getting involved in illegal stuff, some use drugs, no etiquettes, poor hygiene and very arrogant sometimes. Another thing, Canadian government over the years stopped taking in-person interviews and got lenient with rules for gaining a visa especially for students which doesn't make sense and one should be catious so of what kind of people they are letting in their country. This leads to letting in a bunch of wrong people who are already a troublemaker in Punjab and then represents a bad of side of Indians. A side note - Every Indian province is very very different and not all people are same in India. It's definitely a shit situation which shows Canadian government definitely needed a better way to handle immigration. A lot of international students has been exploited by the system as well if you get to know from there point of view as well. Canada’s immigration system is being exploited by many international students, temporary workers, illegal immigrants, and even tourist visa holders. IRCC is now granting repeated extensions on tourist visas. Why are they allowing these extensions? What are these individuals expected to do in Canada for years? Many tourist visa holders have been in Canada for several years — not necessarily because they refuse to leave, but because IRCC keeps extending their status. Some of these individuals end up working illegally, taking jobs from Canadian youth and citizens, and adding pressure to the housing market. The increasing numbers of asylum claimants, international students, temporary work permit holders, tourist visa holders, and undocumented individuals are placing strain on Canada and its citizens. IRCC needs to strictly follow the law and enforce regulations. If not, Canada’s immigration system will continue to be exploited, and abusive individuals or even criminals could find it easier to enter the country.

I grew up being told multiculturalism is our strength. Seeing it now as an adult, I can see all its done is created cities that have no actual Canadians, English or our culture. Raised crime, destroyed the housing market, lower the standard of living and quality of life. We need to go back to 1990's Canada and undo all that the last 35 years have done to our once great country.

The problem is, Canadian govt called too many..and that's all for money. Coming as a student needs lifetime savings. For anyone who doesn't know, it take upwards of $50k dollar to come to Canada as a student And that's for those diploma mill colleges. And students need an Extra 20k , often more to pay the remaining fee for next year, which means they have to work no matter what. This is why you see Indians working everywhere. Anyone saying there are too many Indians, well its because you are too greedy for that money

The first problem is that no country has a long range plan: where do they want to be on 20/50/100 years. The basic economic plan is for growth but this is not sustainable. Reduced birth rates mean that immigration is needed, if only to reduce the impact of an aging population and to reduce the demands on the young adult population. This should be aimed at getting to a sustainable state but no government is planning for it. They only plan for the current electoral cycle.

This is the problem: Temporary workers are temporary. Their arrangement stipulates that they work in-country for a number years, and then return home. Yet, many temporary workers are under the impression that they're actually semi-permanent residents. That's why they invest so much, expecting to be able to stay indefinitely. It needs to be made clear that temporary means temporary.

It's not right or tight yet. Lot of work needs to be done. Lot of people need to be sent back home. Unfortunately last 10 years immigration was done without any proper plans or objectives. We all agree to that.

These companies just want cheap azz labor. I'm a Canadian citizen and went to school here for a trade and trust me it tough finding a job. In my opinion we don't need anymore immigrants for the next 4 years.

To be honest this is something all political party’s from across the spectrum agree with in Canada at the moment, we literally have no housing . We the Canadian Tax payer have been footing rbe bill to keeo these immigrants/ refugees in rather nice 3/4 Hotles for the last few years . I’m a farmer who lives in the county but the closest city to where I live is Windsor and for the last 4 ish year the Government was hosting them in Five Hotel's across the city . It got to the point where it was cheaper for the government to BUY the hotels then rent all the rooms , so that’s what they did … No I’m all for helping people but that is kinda pushing it don’t you think ? There are no jobs for them , no homes for them , etc . We have been in a trade war for the last 2 years with the two largest economies in the world and we need to focus our economic power on thous conflicts at the moment and if the world like it or not fighting that is out top priority and everything else comes second .Even with out that fact Our former government overloaded what our ability’s where capable of handling . We have a pretty advanced social care network but these new folks who have never payed a dime into it and are living off of it for years with the government having no real plan on how to deal with it is just to much , with our with out the economic conflict we are currently in . Im an immigrant from Colombia living in Canada. I moved here because I legit wanted to study this program I was interested in and improve my English. After finishing my studies a tech company hired me and I've been working here for over 4 years. I am shocked at some of the things I've seen, the corruption, the lack of law enforcement, the scams, all the sketchy things that happen within certain immigrant demographics. No one's looking into it, journalists, the government, no one does anything about it. I'm not anti immigration because im one myself but I do think there needs to be more strict regulation and the government needs to look into the scams that are going on in this country.

The east Indian problem has gotten extremely bad where I am in Canada they keep buying businesses and then firing all the white people but if you call it out, you're racist like, I'm getting turned down when I hand out resumes, because I'm white and I was born in Canada its bad they're taking all the student jobs and then buying the businesses where students are working and then firing the students i'm no longer in school, so it's even harder to find a job. It's gotten to the point where if you want a job you need to work for yourself. They're even taking jobs in the trades so now people are having to work for themselves under-the-table and launder their money the average median income in Canada is anywhere from $45000 to $50000 a year the average house costs $673,335 the average household only makes $80000 a year i used to dream about having my own home and starting a family now I just hope I can find an apartment for less than $2000 a month that isn't owned by a slum Lord living in Toronto that's bought the property without ever even being to Smiths Falls a day in their life.

The Indians like to mock them, calling them Chinese as a form of insult (sometimes using slurs such as the C* word or the M* word). Rape by Indians in occupied South Tibet is a major source of anger among the locals toward the thuggish Indian occupiers. Another thing is that India doesn't trust the locals and likes to accuse them of being Chinese spies if they don't display enough loyalty to the Indian occupier. This area is tightly controlled by India, with limited access to the outside world. In 2014, a Tibetan Chinese called Nido Tania went to Delhi and was beaten to death because he looked 'Chinese'. The greatest irony and shameless hypocrisy of India and Indians is that the murdered youth's father is serving in the Indian Border Security Force and deployed along the border with China. Today, South Tibet is restless, and India knows it. This is the reason a law called the AFSPA (Armed Forces Special Power Act) is imposed on South Tibet. AFSPA gives the state the power to detain or kill anyone with impunity. No due process is needed. AFSPA is imposed on areas India deems restless, such as South Tibet and Kashmir. It is a law meant to suppress dissent and instill fear among the populace. The Tibetans in occupied South Tibet are voiceless people because they are not the right kind of Tibetans, so their plight is ignored by the Western world. I have yet to hear from the Western media any concern for the human rights abuses of the Tibetans in occupied South Tibet by India. P.S. I am using the word Tibetan as an umbrella term to include the various Sino-Tibetan Burmese people (Monpa, Abotani (called Lhotba on the Chinese side),..etc. The Sixth Dalai Lama was a Monpa) in South Tibet. The Sixth Dalai Lama is known for his many love poems and romantic escapades outside the Potola Palace. Sadly, his hometown, Tawang, is now under India's occupation since 1951. The Tawang Monastery is the last major frontier monastery before the area merged into the tribal region. It historically enjoyed a close relation with the Beijing central government. I know it's not on most people's radar, but what is a huge problem that no one talks enough about is how when so many temporary foreign workers come here, they make money in Canadian dollars and then send that money out of our economy to their home Country. So our Canadian dollars are sold, and isn't spent in our Economy. When you go somewhere and you don't see any born in Canada employees you really need to make a choice to not support that business. Canadian wages should go to Canadians and spent in our economy. I hope we wise up and we start to really limit how many people we bring into the Country. We're literally bringing in 400K+ people that's about the size of Halifax, EVERY year. We just cannot support this rapid growth. Especially when the people coming in have no intention of integrating and do not share our values.

This is the system: Student immigrates to Canada on a student Visa, gets a Diploma which they use to get a Post-Graduation Work Permit, this is used to get Permanent Residence (PR). After 3 years apply for Citizenship, which makes it easier to bring their parents into Canada. Those parents apply for PR, then wait 3 years, after which they can also apply for Citizenship. If they are 55+ years old, they don't need to take the test or prove they can speak the English. They just apply and get become Citizens. All of this while enjoying the benefits of a Socialized Healthcare, Old Age Pension after 65+, Canada Child Benefit paid to parents with kids under 18, and more. This is not a sustainable economic model, we WILL run out of money. Technically we already have 😂

What bothers me is how this conversation has been reduced to blaming one group. The reality is that the Canadian government failed first by not properly managing immigration volumes, not enforcing document verification, and not honestly assessing whether the country could support such rapid population growth. That policy failure created pressure on housing, jobs, and social systems long before resentment followed. We also need honesty within the Indian community. Some Indians struggle to adapt being overly loud, culturally rigid, and sometimes lacking empathy for Canadian norms and shared public spaces. I studied Canadian and Indigenous history in school, and respecting that history matters. Assimilation doesn’t mean abandoning your culture, but it does mean understanding and respecting the society you chose to join. Cultural education should be expected, not optional. That said, one Indian doing something wrong does not make all Indians bad. Most Indian students and workers I know are hardworking, punctual, and serious about contributing. I’ve personally worked minimum-wage jobs for years, and what I noticed was not jobs being “taken,” but fewer Canadian youth willing to stay in or commit to these roles long-term. Indians didn’t replace Canadians, they filled vacancies that already existed. I also briefly volunteered helping the homeless, and what I saw was honestly shocking. It’s not that the government isn’t trying to help there are rehabilitation programs and support systems in place. The difficult truth is that a significant portion of the homeless population struggles with substance abuse and refuses treatment because it requires giving up drugs. Over time, homelessness itself starts to function like a culture, where benefits and assistance unintentionally enable continued substance use rather than recovery. This is an uncomfortable reality people don’t like to talk about. None of this is simple. Immigration didn’t break Canada, and neither did one community. Poor policy, weak enforcement, lack of accountability, and refusal from governments and individuals to adapt responsibly is what brought us here. Blame is easy. Honest solutions are not.

For the last decade, Canada has been aggresively trying to boost its population in order to avoid a population collapse among native born Canadians in the next 20 years. Demographics are destiny. Governments need people to support the economy and tax system. You can’t have economic growth without population growth.

It all boils down to how the Indians are raised in their own country. They are raised with the individual mentality. Do for yourself, and to hell with the others. In India, they have the "untouchables". Yes, the caste system is still operating in India, although it's not recognized by the government. It's the untouchables that are supposed to clean up all the trash and feces off the streets, but they never do. They don't get paid to do it. This is why their trash clean up is so poor as far as having trucks go around and pick it up to take to a landfill. There are very few untouchables and the other people won't work for the trash pick up companies, because they feel it's beneath them. So, they trash their country and instead of cleaning it up, they move to another country to trash it. My brother used to be a truck driver for many years. Every time he saw a truck rolled over on it's side, he'd say "Must have been an Indian", because every rolled over truck he ever saw was driven by someone from India. If you look at videos of the traffic in India, you will see lot of trucks rolled over, and you'll see no one pay attention to stop lights, stop signs and everyone just cuts off everyone. This is the individual idea. I have to get somewhere, so I will cut you off to get there. It's always "Me, me, me". This attitude causes so many wrecks. Westerners have a hard time driving in India because we are all raised with everyone in mind, not just ourselves. We are a community, not an individual. We need to put a big wall around India and stop all airplanes going in and out, so they don't spread their diseased ideals of life and end up ruining another country. Do you know why India doesn't really take military training very seriously? Because no other country wants to invade and have to deal with the clean up. At this point, it's just about impossible to ever clean that country up.
