I feel this video does cover what's happening but don't answer the question why its happening. Here's what i think- To start with - A major population of indian immigrants in Canada come from two provinces/states - Punjab and Gujarat. From Punjab - Most of the population who migrates to Canada are villagers. They are notoriously famous in Punjab cities as well for creating trouble. They have no civic sense, always getting involved in illegal stuff, some use drugs, no etiquettes, poor hygiene and very arrogant sometimes. Another thing, Canadian government over the years stopped taking in-person interviews and got lenient with rules for gaining a visa especially for students which doesn't make sense and one should be catious so of what kind of people they are letting in their country. This leads to letting in a bunch of wrong people who are already a troublemaker in Punjab and then represents a bad of side of Indians. A side note - Every Indian province is very very different and not all people are same in India. It's definitely a shit situation which shows Canadian government definitely needed a better way to handle immigration. A lot of international students has been exploited by the system as well if you get to know from there point of view as well. Seeing the thumbnail and title of this video shows what kind of a person Tyler is. Without a proper research and understanding, he just made a video to appease people who hates on Indians. Title says Invasion, is he for real? I see way more Chinese immigrants here in Canada than any other nationality. Punjabi Indians are to be blamed as for creating a bad picture for themselves but hating on whole country without knowing them feels prejudiced. I hope whoever is reading to really open their eyes and understands that this is a government failure for not having strict rules and regulations. Indians have been immigrating to Canada for more than 100 years but you see them as a problem now due to last 8 years of bad decisions. Last thing, you see more Indians in Tim Hortons and mock them, is that a bad thing on loving and supporting a Canadian brand? Definitely poor english speaking employees is a problem, but that is a management issue. You don't like it, have a word with the Manager if they don't act on it, then I guess they don't really care for your opinion. Its on you now whether you want your coffee or better english 😂

there is one way to solve this problem and that is financial punishment for rule breaking. it's the only thing these people understand. and i think whoever opened the flood gates understands this very well also

And for the people saying "Indians are so proud of India but they don't want to live there", I mean people making this kinda comment can't even wrap their head around the fact that 1.5 B people are from India. So even a small fraction of that population would contribute towards a large migration, so no "Indians are so proud of India but they don't want to live there" is absolute bullshit. Now does that mean its a perfect country? Absolute Not and Neither is the country Developed, we are a developing economy and we have a long way to go. We have our own issue in this country and we are dealing with it. As for as people living in your countries are concerned, I would ask you to be as objective as possible in situation rather than being stereotypical. If you see a person doing bad thing, call them out, it doesnt matter whether they are "Indian" or otherwise.

One thing i can and do respect about indians is that they will never be pushy with their religions. Sure you'll find some "bad apples" but rare. Then there are other countries, that are much more pushy with their religions. I have no respect for that. So there might be a lot of them, but they don't ruin it as per say. Well, I'm gonna give you Canada Immigration an advice on how to catch these people and all those in other countries who has the same situation. These people are doing jobs like delivery like Uber, Skip, Doordash, etc., BUT...they are not using their legal name to apply for that instead they are using another person's account to do that job, whose account is legal and had been in the job for so many years. The connection between those people is not relevant to any gang or organizations but they operate like one, the advantage is both parties earn money while in their eyes is "legal". This is normal settings in my country(3rd world country), you have several taxis and you need to hire drivers to operate, its up to you if you're gonna hire legit drivers or not, the only difference is that the undocumented driver is cheaper. And how do I know these things, I work in a fastfood chain in Waterloo, you need to identify which order the driver will pickup and the delivery driver need to verify the order by the order number through the app but sometimes you can see the Account's photo is different from the delivery driver, so yeah, that's the gist of it. I have no idea why modern countries like Canada and America are so "dumb" or lack of critical thinking when it comes to crimes like this, but I guess people and politicians are the same all over the world. And now, they are bringing more people without checking their background, if there's any criminal record or such, oh yeah, speaking of that, how do you verify those records from another country if those records can be produced with 3rd party company in which an employee from a government institution is behind it to make it more look like it is legit.

I live in Brampton. One small thing that bugs me is every year at Christmas time the grocery chain Sobey's does not respect this holiday. This woke crap company says "Holiday" and yet all year long put up signs in their stores about "Ed" and "Ramadan". They can't say the word "Christmas" !! Us white Canadians make this company what it is today, NOT these people from India. It's wrong. I really hate these woke companies. And thanks to these ignorant Indian people we are not allowed to do fire works on Canada Day because they had to ruin that for us as well by setting off fire works all the time at all hours of the night during their holidays. Fire works of any kind are now banned.

the homeless people who would rather starve at the shelter instead are just too racist to go to the gurdwara for free food, or to realise they immigrants are actually kind and hard working. Not everyone is like that in my experience, I'm not from brampton but I'm sikh and I have sikh friends who are white and indigenous as well. One thing people don't realise is a lot of Canadians are actually really racist. You clearly saw that from the interview of the guy and his wife who was an RN, they passed the exam fair and square but I feel like his lack of understanding of the English language didn't get his point across right. The point he missed was the quality of life is higher in Canada, In India it's way easier, the cost of living is way cheaper, there's tons of cheap labour to hire maids for all your house work for example which is common in their culture, but as you've probably seen online, India isn't the cleanest or friendliest place to be, and if he was a nurse in India he would probably be broke without a good job, and having the opportunity to find good high paying jobs in something that Canadians also do when they travel to the US if a position in their field isn't available in whatever local city they grew up in. The main issue stems from international students from like after covid, regardless of country, India is in the spotlight because there's just more indians compared to other countries international students but its all the same stuff, you have kids from all over the world that might not have learned the same cultural practices, fresh 16-18 year olds living alone for the first time that have to do all their own chores and don't even know how to take care of themselves in some cases or do laundry or anything like that and it doesn't mean they were illegal immigrants or anything, just that they never put in the effort to learn because they were too entitled, its the same with entitled kids that go to Korea or Japan from north America as well that don't learn their culture and customs and misbehave because they are too entitled, and once you understand that you can see the bigger picture more clearly instead of just defaulting to racism. Also I'm not saying they can't be frustrated, its frustrating for everyone, even for me but racism isn't the answer.

This is why I desperately wish there was an actual Libertarian party to vote for in elections! There is a party, but they have not gotten enough signatures to be able to run yet, I don't even know if there is an office or representative in Ontario right now! I wish! Their policies (on paper) seem great, and geared more towards a 'Canada first'/'Canadians First' approach. They touch on a lot of topics and there seem to be a lot of things they want to change! But a government is still a government, they will be motivated by money regardless of any good intentions they may have. So if and when things change, WE NEED TO HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE! We as the citizens have the power to change things for the better! It's just unfortunate that I see so many people getting pushed down or ignored or hated because they are speaking their mind. Remember, Canada dosen't have laws like the US, our freedoms aren't as protected nor do we have the same freedoms they do (like owning and protecting your own property, or self defense!) We as people need to start being honest and expressing things instead of being terrified of the backlash (of which there will be in these times). The only way we can make progress is by deciding to get out of our comfort zones and standing for what is right! For the freedoms and protections we deserve! To make a future worth living for us and our children! It will not be easy, but when is change ever easy? I hope that one day I won't be terrified of the thought of bringing a life into this world and country. I hope I can be stable enough to be able to give my future children a decent life. But right now? I would never want to have children, things are too unstable and I don't want to bring a child into this country and force them to live a terrible life they never asked for! I desperately want to be able to keep hoping for a better future, a better country, and people who can enjoy their lives instead of constantly worrying and stressing about everything. I hope some can consider looking into the Libertarian party as well! They may be small right now, but they seem to be wanting to right the wrongs that have occured.

Im a Canadian and honestly I've NEVER had a problem finding a job, I don't even have my highschool... I think it has to do with *which* jobs they are applying for. I get that theres an "immigration" problem, the refusal to adapt and assimilate feels like a slap in the face especially when the same few will talk I'll of the same system they benefit from. HOWEVER I don't think it's good to lump all of these problems together and dump collective blame on immigrants. For 1, all this immigration and policies have happened under a liberal government and y'all voted then in, AGAIN. - clearly you're not THAT desperate for change. 2nd. Are the ones saying they can't find work willing to work in trades? General laborers making $25-$30+++ No experience required. Tradespeople are glad to teach people willing to work hard and learn.. What about warehouse work? Apply to your 5 closest warehouses, I guarantee youll get in 1.. ALSO the government IS willing to help Canadians get little certifications like forklift, smartserve, CPR.. Career colleges can help with training (e.g - computer) as well as soft skills. So yeah, I wonder if it's people being just as picky as they were when Canada wasn't in the economical shitter it is in rn? Maybe Im far luckier or fortunate than most? Maybe expectations are too high? Maybe some stubbornly refuse assistance they are entitled to? Im not sure, but I do sympathize/empathize with you guys, I hope you all can "get through". I pray we can find solutions to this insane cost of living / broken housing market / price gouging / tiny group of business owners having a complete market control and a monopoly on everything thing we need to survive - without competition, limitations or government regulation🫩. I grew up with integration that I LOVED, met people from all over the world. I've been working since I was 14 I've worked for people from all over the world , rented from different people since I was 18 and learned great things I can add to my construction or cooking repertoire that you could possibly couldn't learn in the West without diversity. BUT now we have a group of people coming here buying up businesses while only hiring people from their country buying up single homes putting up crammy 8 plexus, and only renting to people from their home country. If these were French people like my heritage is, I would be even more pissed because I could say something without being called a racist. These immigrants are coming here with one goal retribution against the English Empire for the past or some shit, I dont know, and they're taking it out on us Canadians. over 5 years I've collected proof so I feel very safe coming out now and talking about this because I have everything to back it up. Those single homes I was talking about half of them burned down and they use insurance fraud money add multiple loopholes to use government money along the way as well, that's damn taxpayer money building parts of these homes... I'm a concrete worker they do not let these walls set properly, they don't seal the windows and doors properly, everything's going to leak but because they only rent to people from their home country after 3 years they can take their name off the property and nobody and I mean nobody is going to report leaks because they have a tyrannical control over who they rent to.... As a proud Canadian I am so very done with these immigrants literally bombarding and overwhelming our beautiful country. We, Canadians need to come together. Unite. Deny all immigrants. I'm a born and raised Canadian, as well as my husband. Even before our country was completely taken over, employment was hard to come by because of the fw's. 8 years ago, my husband had enough with trying to find a job, he stopped counting at over 450 resumes that were ignored, so he decided that we should start our own company, a small delivery company that 2 years later, we added a safe ride service to (driving drunk people home in their own vehicle). I was the manager of a little pizza place, which was run by immigrants, but good ones. I was hired because my husband approached them about doing deliveries, and they wanted to meet me. I had no idea I was going for an interview but they begged me to work for them, their reason; although they could speak English, they weren't fluent in it, so they wanted an English speaking employee who could easily understand the customer's. Within days, I was promoted to manager, and I loved my job and all of them. They treated everyone with such kindness and generosity. I found out just how much support they got from our government, when I broke down one day because I couldn't afford my prescription. My boss was so confused because he and his family got free prescriptions, dental, eye care, etc and they thought everyone got that. My boss paid for my prescription and actually apologized to me for how our own government treated us. He also showed me that they get $2,500 every 2 weeks, funding to start or buy businesses, but if they don't hire other fw's or immigrants, that funding changes to a grant and they have to pay it back. They are given money for housing, and vehicles. He was pushed out of that business by his 2 partners, and the partner's promised him I would keep my job. That was a complete lie. They stopped putting me on the schedule, claiming financial problems (bs), but hired not one but two new full time immigrant employees. I lost it and quit. Our town isn't that big, and word spread fast, especially when everyone found out that I was still owed over $2,000, which I will never see because no government agency will help me. Their business is actually struggling now and I love that for them. As for my husband and I's business, it's going strong but I came unglued when we recieved a letter from the government "suggesting" that we hire immigrants. I wrote back, telling them in no uncertain terms would that ever happen, and it will be a cold day in hell when one of us steps back so one of the government's favored people can take that money from us because we are the only 2 employees and we're not sacrificing a damn thing for someone who already gets everything.

I live on $800 a month and I am much too disabled to work and I don’t have family. In addition, I’ve been told I’m not eligible for rent gear to income, but it’s not like I’m going to get well. Anyway, it seems people don’t like to put out for others and I get it because the folks at the top are always happy to see the little guys tear each other apart. None of our politicians have ever voluntarily Given up a pay cut to support those who can’t work any longer or who never could. That would be the pro life thing to do. Born and Raised in Canada and there is another sort of comparison I'm starting to see more and more: We have the Stagnation of Japan and the the Personality of Britain. \n\nWhat I mean by that, the people in Canada, least the older ones (Boomers), got very conservative and never wanted to rock the boat and do new things. They had in their eyes a good thing. They had work and owned their home. None of them wanted to risk that so they kept things the same for the past 3 decades or so. Well a lot has changed around the world, and were pretty much the same old. Literally. In retirement. Whats the last interesting thing Canada has done since the Canadarm? \n\nI can think of a number of achievements the rest of the world has done, including many 3rd world countries. But Canada is the same old. This has become our Culture. We don't talk about new ideas. We witness them online, but we're not Creators. We are Consumers. And that is what I think happened to Britain after they got resettled after WWII. Britain is pretty dry. And so is Canada. Hence our forest fires!

I am Québécois, and things here are quite different from the rest of Canada. For example, we have a law here that clearly forbids wearing religious signs when in a position of authority. Even a teacher, because they are a figure of authority for their students, could not wear the Roman collar, a cassock, a hijab, a niqab or anything else of the sort while in school. In the streets or any other public place, there is no problem at all. Everyone is welcomed to express their difference of culture or religion in the way they dress or in whatever other way. They are treated with the same respect and kindness as anywhere else in Canada. It is only that the separation of religion and state, and religion and authority is paramount here. Everybody is free and can express themsleves freely. But don't use that freedom to impose your views onto others. \nSo, when American judges are chosen for the federal court specifically because of their christian fundamentalist biases, it doesn't resonate well at all for me or the majority of Québécois. When the rights of the LGBTQ+ community are being questioned or jeopardised. Or a previous federal judgement like Roe v Wade is being overturned for religious reasons... it is a definite turn off for all of the Québec people to even remotely consider the United States as a destination to emigrate to (supposing that one would want to leave our beautiful country).\nMore and more, America, that used to be recognized as the land of the free, appears to be retrograde and restrictive and definitely not so free.

I came to Saskatchewan Canada as an international student in fall 2023. I did a care assistant program and was attracted to coming to Canada because I kept hearing that there is a labour shortage in healthcare in Canada. However I feel like everything just started going to sh*t in 2024 when I was finishing up my program ?.\n\n One of the things I'd like to highlight about the small towns is that they can be very biased in their hiring practices. Some of us as (black) students had a hard time getting jobs in healthcare in the town because jobs were given based on family and friend linkages (so mostly white or Filipino people got hired). Also there was a severe housing shortage. So even though locals (from my perception) wanted us to stay and work in healthcare (because they are short staffed), realistically there was no where to stay. Canada can't say it wants people in more rural areas and not improve housing in those areas as well. I have honestly been rather disappointed with Canada because I expected better planning from a developed country.

I am a double hater cant stand Trump and I am a farmer, i dont use immigrants because i just grow crops that can be mechanically harvested and I have a small farm, But in the past I used to manage large farms where we had a lot of immigrants most were illegal and people don't understand why they're illegal It's because there is an arbitrary cap on how many migrants can come from Guatemala and Mexico if they wanted to come legally just a normal worker They have a 60-year waiting list so it's just impossible to come here legally. Most of these people are very hardworking good people that come here to work for 5 to 7 years save up money and then go back to Mexico or Guatemala build a house and start a business in their own country. \n\nThis year i begrudgingly voted for trump because for me the biggest issue is with the federal and state regulations that make farming much harder than it needs to be especially regulations on diesel engine emissions that cost me tens of thousands of dollars a year and many months of not being able to use my equipment that I spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on. And Kamala was the one who enforced the CARB emmisions standards that diesel engine manufactures have to comply with to sell into California which is the biggest consumer of these engines. \n\nLike right now I have my pickup truck that's been down for 6 months because of emissions problems and so many of the vehicles have emissions problems that the parts to fix it don't even have an ETA because they need to fix so many trucks and I have two other tractors broke down that I can't use all my friends that are farmers have a lot more and dems want to significantly increase emmisions standards in 2026. \n\nYou simply can't grow food at scale without reliable diesel engines There is no alternative The vast majority of food is planted and harvested mechanically in the US The bigger issue with food is not well illegals get deported It is will the diesel engines run to harvest 90% of the calories in plant them. \n\nWe have robots that can milk the cows most of the things that migrants harvest can be harvested mechanically and they are in other parts of the world It's just cheaper to do it with labor once that's not the case it will be mechanized. I am a born and raised Canadian and have seen my country go downhill for at least the last couple of decades.\nHealth Care: doctors and nurses are moving Stateside in droves. No, the US doesn’t have universal health care but there are insurance plans and the care is enormously better. My girlfriend had 4th stage throat cancer. In Calgary the doctors at some point told her there was nothing more they could do for her and to get her affairs in order. Her father sent her to the Anderson Clinic in Houston - yes it was expensive but they treated her, saved her life and that was 24 years ago. \nIt’s common in our emergency rooms to wait up to 12 hours to be seen. \nOur system isn’t progressive and doctors and nurses don’t get paid near as well as in the States. That being said, I am happy that I don’t have to pay to see the doctor or have a stay in the hospital. \nCost of Living: Once upon a time it was good - housing was cheap and many companies had the full range of benefits and salaries were equal to the cost of living. Now these same companies have stripped the benefits by hiring people under contract so they don’t have to give them benefits. \nRents are through the roof and in Calgary there are no rent caps. Buying a decent house in a decent neighbourhood is impossible unless you inherit or make a six figure income. This, in no small part, has created a homelessness crisis that never had been seen in such numbers before. Crime also is getting worse by the day. Canada was once known as a safe country. This is no longer the case.\nEverything is very expensive and the tax very high. Plus, we have to suffer winter! Where I live, the joke is that we have two seasons - July and winter!\nI still like my city (not love) but I am retired and own two houses - one inherited and the other bought when it was affordable (32 years ago). Calgary would not be a place I would live if I was a newcomer. Vancouver is beautiful but you really pay for it. \nTrudeau has helped make a big mess of things with immigration and lax criminal laws. But y'all don't see as that, like i said y'all still think canada is a majority white nation when it's not, and mexico is a amarindiean majority nation when with all the immigrants canada has now, sorry, new Canadians mexico is probably just as white or even more so than canada. And for those that think I'm exaggerating, read the comments or the lack thereof, and the ones that do comments completely overlook the fact that they can use and are using canada to reach the us, and completely want to change the conversation to the ones crossing from Mexico, why? Grass is always greener on the other side. US has more violent crime, school shootings, homeless, drugs, and inaccessible health care. US foreign policy and economic strength make it both a leader and a target in all kinds of conflicts, which damages the security and future outlook for an average person. Not to mention the clowns and criminals ruling the federal government and running for president.. European countries have their own issues, Asian countries their own (they have greater economic inequality and sexism, among other issues).\n\nI still consider Canada one of the best places to live. I have a good job and a good life here, I feel secure. Yes, there are things I don't like as well, that's why I earn in Canada and travel extensively to get the best of all countries.\n\nAnd finally, the reason real estate is so expensive in Canada is because of how many people want to live here. It's obvious – if Canada stopped being one of the top immigration destinations, real estate would stop growing in value so much.
