Canada has all the necessary conditions to establish real manufacturing industries and increase production. With the presence of migrant labor such as workers from India—who are willing to accept lower wages than Canadian workers and others—the equation becomes clear: lower costs, higher output, and greater profitability. Today they get picked up and now they claim they have a family here. They should still be removed because if they had left when they were supposed to they wouldn't have that family now would they. Yes, it may appear to be harsh but is it not harsh to use the funds provided by people who have a legal right to be here to support those who never should have been here?

Dont know about canada but we Indians live rent-free in canadians heads. I've never been to canada, nor even thought about that country much in my life up until i started meeting many canadians on the internet who lose it on me for no reason at all. The most hateful people i have met online have been canadians. IMO France 24's reporting is a little confused on this issue. You're getting the perspective of 1) immigrants that have been denied a path to citizenship and 2) corporations that can't offer attractive wages to Canadians. My parents came to Canada over 30 years ago with employable skills and money to support ourselves. We go through Canadian education system, get Canadian jobs and pay Canadian taxes. Why come to Canada to go to community colleges. Because most of the schools they are attending are in strip malls. Those people should not be here. If they are not smart enough for a university entry, they are not the brain power we want. Those schools should be closed and a head count mandatory. This is a horrible situation on both ends and the fact that its all 100% administration failure is sad. Its not fair to anyone not even the immigrants. They keep bringing in more people then the economy can afford to live here I frankly find it ridiculous. I want to know whats driving these policies to continue. My parents came to canada 25 years ago, they payed thousands of dollars to get status here. Now people are getting in as cheap labour that can't even afford to live here so they dogpile 10-15 people in the same 2-3 bedroom apartments or houses and the infrastructure is still being built on the logic of single families when in the reality thr opposite is happening we have sudden crowding because rent is unaffordable due to the massive influx of people, including canadian born nationals that are forced to live in these environments if they don't have support- Its crazy why not close your borders stabilize rebuild infrastructure then slowly work on immigration policies again when the housing market and job market are stable again. Theres absolutely no reason to cite labour shortages when theres an unemployment rate and homeless people everywhere- close the borders- get homes built, throw heavy incentives to join and get educated on any productive field that has a shortage upto and including providing shelter to canadian citizens that decide to pursue these fields and are homeless. Employers should be aware of SINs before hiring people. I am also an immigrant, but my dad worked hard as a skilled worker to bring us here to Canada. I pay my duly taxes monthly and yearly. So I find it unfair when people work under the table. However, I've noticed that some students, who never attend their classes, end up in high positions with well-paying jobs at big companies. Meanwhile, I can't count how many refugees and immigrants are in low-income brackets, receiving 100% coverage for their medication and a monthly allowance from the government. In contrast, Canadian senior citizens still have to pay 20-30% of their medication costs and don't get the same privileges when it comes to their essentials. It frustrates me that the government makes our senior citizens suffer at retirement age, even after they've worked so hard for so many years. Yet they still struggle to pay for their own medication and necessities. I've encountered many rude refugees and people on income support from other countries who feel entitled to special treatment just because they are under government programs. Ironically, some of them come wearing luxury clothes and bags—like Gucci and Louis Vuitton. As I said, I am an immigrant too, but my heart goes out to those who have fully earned the support and benefits they deserve.

How a student get approved for a car loan they are only allowed to work 20hrs per week .how these finance companies are issues loan for a student who is only here for 2 year program ? I live in Brampton, i am all for diversity but where is the diversity if everyone is Indian. I am French originally and i am in a minority of one! Let's be clear, the massive Indian increase in the population is due to Trudeau's immigration policy, the indians did not jump over the border as some of the comments suggest, they mostly came here legally, and this was done without broad agreement of the Canadian population as a whole. The liberals have a lot to answer for the disaster which Canada has become in the last 10 years and yes they got rid off Trudeau, but they are still in power, stiffling the potential economic growth of Canada which should be a rich country instead of being a country where many people live from pay cheques to pay cheques.

Immigration has increased because the government needs more people for the economy. The population 25+ years ago was enough to keep with the costs and demand. Now, Canada probably has a lot of demand and needs an influx of people both for education and jobs. Indians are enticed to come because they hear about towns that cater towards Indians like Brampton. Chinese people used to be the majority of immigrants and that was because Chinatowns would cater to them. Not to mention, these immigrants likely have temporary worker or student visas. These an whole thing with the student visas but I don't want to get into it. So Amazon and other large companies need a lot of workers for their demand and look outside of Canada to fill the job numbers. Meanwhile, Canadians that have been here for awhile are on the streets and jobless. So basically, Canada needs immigration for its demand but I think when too many people come all at once and from usually one country, Canadians will notice the change and feel the tensions that come with it.

the homeless people who would rather starve at the shelter instead are just too racist to go to the gurdwara for free food, or to realise they immigrants are actually kind and hard working. Not everyone is like that in my experience, I'm not from brampton but I'm sikh and I have sikh friends who are white and indigenous as well. One thing people don't realise is a lot of Canadians are actually really racist. You clearly saw that from the interview of the guy and his wife who was an RN, they passed the exam fair and square but I feel like his lack of understanding of the English language didn't get his point across right. The point he missed was the quality of life is higher in Canada, In India it's way easier, the cost of living is way cheaper, there's tons of cheap labour to hire maids for all your house work for example which is common in their culture, but as you've probably seen online, India isn't the cleanest or friendliest place to be, and if he was a nurse in India he would probably be broke without a good job, and having the opportunity to find good high paying jobs in something that Canadians also do when they travel to the US if a position in their field isn't available in whatever local city they grew up in. The main issue stems from international students from like after covid, regardless of country, India is in the spotlight because there's just more indians compared to other countries international students but its all the same stuff, you have kids from all over the world that might not have learned the same cultural practices, fresh 16-18 year olds living alone for the first time that have to do all their own chores and don't even know how to take care of themselves in some cases or do laundry or anything like that and it doesn't mean they were illegal immigrants or anything, just that they never put in the effort to learn because they were too entitled, its the same with entitled kids that go to Korea or Japan from north America as well that don't learn their culture and customs and misbehave because they are too entitled, and once you understand that you can see the bigger picture more clearly instead of just defaulting to racism. Also I'm not saying they can't be frustrated, its frustrating for everyone, even for me but racism isn't the answer.

Canada had a sizeable Indian population always and it was not an issue till Trudeau took power and mass imported millions esp military aged men from Panjab /rural Northern India so he could cater to his Sikh /Khalistani vote who are an extremely powerful lobby in the Canadian govt, every party in Canada has high ranking Khalistani politicians. The liberal yt elite Canadian govt sold its working and middle class ( who are largely white Canadians) for a 3rd world servile class which would keep them in power forever but it comes at the cost of massive collapse of social cohesion, falling wages and massive cultural shifts. When I visited Toronto, an Indian fast food worker said he was giving me an extra BBQ sauce as a favor and would charge for the second, I called the manager too school this moron and she was also shocked , when you mass import million of 3rd world largely uneducated Indians they mentally still think the are in India

Ok so Indians who came to Canada in 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s they tried to a assimilate but the whites never let them. They were racists, never gave them equal opportunities, always belittled them. So then those same Indians grouped together and created their business for their own and now you complain we do not assimilate. Dude clean your own backyard before complaining about others. If they do not work why there are no Indian homeless. They worked hard, harder your 5 generations combined thats why they were able to build houses. Their bathrooms are bigger then your bedrooms. If now have something to complain you are free to leave the country. so at 3:00 he is saying, it does not cost illegals a penny to go to hospital. How many illegals has he smuggled into Canada. Any person in Canada without the provincial insurance has to pay everything out of pocket. I just got my dads blood work done today and he is on a visitor visa. It costed me $750 dollars, and before that just a walk in visit costed me $$175 dollars. And about paying taxes, I garuntee you a single houshold of Indians pay more in Taxes than a whole street of these white shit heads. The amount of myths they have created around immigrants is astonishing. There is is a reason conservatives loves the poor and the uneducated. You can clearly see the stark difference between how a Canadian born and raised person is speaking about other and how an immigrant is speaking about others and distributing free food and serving the society. THe people who have never tried to help anyone will always be jealous of those who help and prosper. We did not came from broken country, we just came here for a little better life which we have gotten with our hardwork and we owe nothing to these half ass naked shit rags complaining about immigrants when they themselves are either one or descendants of immigrants.

As an immigrant who came to this country & fell in love with its culture 40 years ago, it's appalling to see how our beautiful first world country is quickly becoming a gutter. The newcomers these days are the privileged ones. All of us need to speak up, especially those of us immigrants who retain our original accents &/ non-white because our white fellow Canadians are accused of being racist whenever they do (though many could learn to be more eloquent. ie. go back to your country does NOT help)! I see it as my Canadian duty to remind "misbehaving" newcomers the reason they left their country in the first place. ie. You chose Canada for a better life, so why try to change it into the one you left? ie. Help me understand your logic? Why not leave your hate & war at the border; just like normal folks won't bring stinky garbage into their new homes. Life is challenging enough when you uprooted to a new country (especially our unforgiving cold Winter). So, just focus on the positive things in your new country & leave all your miseries behind... ie. Learn to adapt & enjoy your new country. Canada is a great country because of the love & effort of those before you, so now you are the beneficiary. Join the legacy by enhancing this beautiful country & its culture, so you can pass on this century old legacy for later newcomers to enjoy, like you do now. What dignity do you have & what kind of life lessons to your children by bullying your culture & religion into Canada at the expense of other Canadians? This will fracture Canada if everyone does that. Do you want this country to become so fractured & terrible that your descendants have to leave for a better country, like you did? Is that what your religion teaches you? Does it state it's perfectly fine to satisfy all your whims & wishes at the expense of others? Are you striving for Canadians to think badly of your race/culture? Are you being a good ambassador to your race/community/culture/religion? Canadians are so friendly & helpful, if you need help, just ask, please don't demand. Learn the language & it's ok to speak broken/pigeon English with gestures to communicate. No one expects you to be an English scholar; you gain respect for trying. Apply some basic Canadians manners, which goes a long way... I worked my entire career with the public, I very seldom encounter negative feedback when I do the above. If they get nasty, I tell them that's definitely not the Canadian way to make friends & wish them Good Luck! I also make a point in telling the wealthy ones "Tax Avoidance is legal (I'm more than happy to show them), but Tax Evasion is not! Then reminding them....Canada will be bankrupt eventually if everyone don't pay their fair share of taxes. ie. You may not suffer, but your children/grandchildren will. Worst Case scenario, you didn't get the necessary medical care when you most needed it!!! We should lobby for a mandatory course that all newcomers have to take & PASS a test about Canadian culture & expectations. If they fail, no citizenship for sure! If a Canadian speaks facts about whats happening in Canada we are called racist and held accountable. Theres no freedom of speech anymore. Canadian culture used to be the best culture but liberal government and recent migrants have ruined Canadian culture. Liberal policies have ruined jobs /justice system and freedom of speech and cost of living. Its so sad
