See the issue with multi culturalism is that “like people” tend to stick with “like people”. It’s human nature… for instance, when I go to school or the break room- I sit with my friends. You mention that Americans are 30% more expensive than Canadians but you dont mention that the US is far more unequal with a Gini coefficient of 0.41 vs 0.35 in Canada. Now there is also a known issue with using GDP data to calculate productivity and that is that in sme countries the labor of GDP is much lower than in others. You then end up with Irish productivity being the second highest in the world only because most large US corporations operating in the EU register there to pay lower taxes but most of that revenue is just on paper for Ireland. or with Guyana whose oil and mining revenue makes it productivity equal to that of the US. As an American it feels a bit extreme, but all Canada has to do is attempt to fix their border, but your leaders would rather choose war. OK. 75% of Canadian exports go to the US while you only take 12% of ours exports. This will be a bloodbath. If Canada was a state in the USA, it would be the 4th largest economy. Knee surgery comparison is a poor comparison. You chose self inflicted medical down time. The individual requiring knee surgery did not. You took down time because changing your gender identity was something you felt you needed, which isn't putting the service of your country first. I don't choose myself over my people - period. I don't believe that is the merit of a good leader. I don't believe the excellence in your skill set comes from an inability to establish personally what gender you want to be. Results in combat and protecting what's right in the air and on the battlefield have little to do with wanting to be a woman or a man. Get the job done, be a silent operator. Just because the guy interviewed here was a good pilot does not mean that all the guys who transition are going to be good soldiers and members of the military. \n\nIf you choose to “transition“ that’s your choice and you should be respected for it, but that does not mean you continue to qualify to participate in certain things like athletics and the military.

To be so prejudice is wrong! Qualifying for positions should be based on skills and abilities not bringing genders into mix. Transgenders are part of our everyday lives and are capable of holding positions of importance as long as their preference of sex does not interfere with the job or tasks at hand. I agree that women should not have to compete against transgender women but this is going too far! Everyone has a right to represent their Country if they choose too as long as they are capable and skilled!
