I grew up in Brampton from 1985 to 2010. I watched it change. Not for the better. I got the hell out there and every time I go back to visit my fam, it's even worse. The problem is immigration back in day was a luxury in India so only riches made it outside and they were rich compared to others after independence because they were more pro british and served them. So it was easy for them to immigrate and assimilate into your culture. Now you see many poor people also immigrating because immigration became more accessible, its just like the touchscreen phones, before only rich people had them, but later and now everyone has it. Plus your overly liberal and the stupid point system lets anyone enter the country if they meet a specific criteria, they barely check their english, background, crime record, etc. Also, living in India is a survival, or a nightmare for short. Especially for the poor people in the up north, and so they go to these shady agents who claim that they can send him or her to Canada, UK, Australia where ever they want in exchange for some money. Sometimes these agents turnout to be scams and sometimes not, then these students apply to some fake university that has no campus in Canada and select a course thats easy. Then once approved they come to canada, don’t go to university and make some other indian friends who say they have contacts with some job providers and through that the students get their jobs at the fast food joints and shopping malls. The mindset with which these students come to Canada is that I want to get a simple job as soon as I land in Canada and through that job I can get a PR. They never go to assimilate or discover the culture, they come because the country looks nice, has resources, and will provide them with a good salary so that they send some money back home to their parents as compared to low paying jobs in India, which too are super competitive. They still like the indian way of life, the culture, the food, the attire, just not in India. Thats why you’ll never see these students eating at anything other than a Indian Punjabi Restaurant or a fast food joint, they will never make white friends, they will never try to change the way they speak and look at Canadians, they will never try to change their driving habits. In conclusion, more poor people and students migrating, paired with their mindset of “I want everything to be Indian just not in India but in a place that looks better” paired with their low interest in actually learning and working better jobs is what makes them a bad immigrant group. All big department stores in London , Ont are now staffed by more than 90 percent with only Indians , where are the previous employees ?? are they laid off , it all happened in just few years , unbelievable !! why no inquiry about replacing all other hard working Canadians and legal immigrants by new arrivals from only one country ,India and who are those workers , most of them are students , many came with fake documents and many many of them have absolutely no intention to finish their education in Canada but to use these loopholes to get into Canada and never leave , India is one of the most corrupt countries in the world ( look at the origin of most of the scam calls ! ), you can get a PHD degree there with money, ( the most scary part is hiring nurses or doctors with maybe fake degrees ) now corruption and loopholes in our immigration system allowed this influx of cheaters while hundred of thousands of Canadians cant find jobs and honest people from everywhere who try to immigrate through the front door face all the difficulties, this is not racism, it is the truth ...

It’s all about the collages and universities keeping the professors and teachers working.. Doesn’t matter what it’s doing to Canadians in the background as long as they stay relevant and get a pay check while teaching courses that will NOT help students in the real world.. This student immigration is a scam and we all know it, now we need politicians with big enough balls to stop this program and remove everyone that is non compliant and we start taking back our country.

These so-called international students from India are all part of the scam they know what they're getting themselves into!!! they are all part of it. they never planned on studying to begin with. their scam is to enter Canada on fraudulent student visas just to shamelessly claim asylum. Ya it’s complete bullshit… we’re all pissed. Bring in a bunch of third worlders who scam the shit out of people, and get a ton of benefits the citizens don’t even get. And then we’re labeled racist? I left Canada, never coming back. Pretty soon you’ll have raw sewage running down the center of your streets, then you can be just like India.

Housing impossible to find and prices astronomical. No jobs available to it's OWN CITIZENS. Canadians getting scammed by noncitizens. The landscape obliterated by trash and human excrement. Hospitals overwhelmed by non citizens leaving Canadians behind. Low birth rate due to unaffordability. There are actually areas in Canada that don't speak either official language. I can't even enter a shoppers drug mart without being assaulted by horrible body odor coming from the temporary foreign workers. END THE TFW PROGRAM. Farms are the only areas where it is needed. Canadian gov says we need to increase population... But not of it's own citizens. So they made it impossible for it's citizens to afford children and then dumped all of India into our country. IM SICK OF IT.

I'm a proud Canadian Immigrant of Indian origin. I came here to do specialized studies in Game Development. I took my time, and studied 6 years as an international student, paying 3x the tuition, sank $200,000 of hard earned money into the Canadian Education system — Not as a fast track gimmick to immigrate, but so I could achieve my dream as a Game Developer. This money was family income, earned on 1/4th the salary, taking 4x longer to save. I was a great privileged to me. Today 15 years later, no one would ever think I'm from India. I sound Canadian, I behave Canadian, I have Canadian values, and I am Canadian. I came here because I loved Canada. I would watch hours upon hours of indigenous history, and on my Citizenship day, I watched Juno Beach to celebrate. However I must say this... I suffered through s*icidal depression here for 8 years, because I had far less leverage here than in a developing country, and it's really telling what sort of situation we're all in... Rent caps in Canada were removed... The housing market was open to foreign investors / and real estate monopolies with a 20% year-on-year rise... Rents went from 1000$ to 2100$ MINIMUM for a 1 bedroom through Trudeau's term and the govt said "It's not a federal responsibility"... Auto insurance is like 2.5-3.5k a year in Ontario and if you get a dent, you pay a deductable... I was quoted 8500$ for two wisdom teeth surgeries while it costed me 260$ abroad... During Covid - property owners, banks, and grocery stores exploited our misery and made record profits!... The govt stopped filtering through it's immigrants with "interviews", and it's operating like a scam — "Bring all your foreign money, convert it to CAD, and keep our GDP stable.. while we neither have the infrastructure, nor the job market to support these numbers". I think some accountability is due... these issues are "symptoms", not the problem — The problem is our Liberal govt / policies, and our wonderful voting body who voted Liberal term after term after term while complaining. Why does this govt safeguard extremism, foreign politics, foreign separatism? Khalistanis are as much of a threat / nuance to India than it is to Canada, but in Canada they actually have a unrestricted platform. Instead of resenting immigrants, we need to start resenting how mismanaged Canada is by our govt, and hold our voting body accountable. We had a chance to vote differently, but once again a repackaged and rebranded Liberal term. Because my ethnicity is Indian, I've become an object of collective resentment / hatred, and I don't think that's fair.. Please direct it at your vote, and govt level policies. Why should I (and other's like me) be crucified with the sins of other immigrants? It's like hating all your neighbors in a burning building, when the management has been lighting the fire.

It's a human trafficking scam... and politicians are probably getting "contributions"... the migrants have to pay both in Canada and at home to these fake colleges that exist only on paper. I wonder how much an international student ends up paying just to come here... India has what? like a hundrem million dollar millionaires? How many live as basically what might as well be called slavery? Consider that some of these slave owners prefer living in Canada...
