The thing that never seems to be brought up is East Indians 80% own houses. They come here and they own houses and have businesses that they ONLY hire East Indians, have East Indian clientele ONLY because they all pay cash so they can circumvent the taxes. Surrey BC where I lived for 14 years, is just as bad as Brampton. They all own 1.6-2 million dollar houses in the suburbs of the city, all own businesses and all do the same shit as Brampton, circumvent the taxes. In Victoria BC where I live now, it’s gotten so bad that I can’t move out of my house I’ve been in for 4 years cuz I can’t find anything cheaper and this place is a 400sq ft 1 bedroom for $1850 a month. They take over businesses and refuse to hire non Punjab people because they won't fit in the workplace culture. They've been taking the excessive handouts from the Canadian government and are slowly buying up tons of real estate. Its everywhere in canada. Brampton is just ground zero. What's it like? We just got a new Walmart down the street. They took a staff picture and it was 80% indian people. Hardly any locals got jobs there instead its mostly "new citizens" who have lived here less than a year or two. Every day there's more of them. And because of our liberal government and tax breaks and all sorts of racist allowances these people have got, they all have money and houses and new cars when they were dirt poor in India like 3 years ago. They get interest free loans from banks, they get daily per diems and housing as soon as they get here. Keep in mind tent cities are growing rapidly in Canada. And our government is spending HUGE amounts of our tax dollars to subsidize this takeover. And try living here and renting. Due to this influx, a bungalow that was 1500 a month 10 years ago, is now 4500 a month and youre renting off an Indian person. Word to the wise tho, dont even bring up the tow truck businesses. They'll shoot you And last but not least our retarded government just passed a birthright citizen law for them. So now if you come here from India even if only for a couple years, ALL subsequent offspring of yours can immediately get citizenship here no question asked. We are so fucked

Conservatives will assemble a legal committee to revoke the status of anyone who switched from visitor, fake student etc... to permanent resident and order them deported. Trump is not joking and he will kick out millions in just 1 year because he has robust means and eager sheriffs to round them like chicken and ship them out.

I am so sorry, as a native Canadian, that Indians are feeling attacked. It is difficult, no matter your ethnic background, if you are not Indian to even acknowledge these issues because people are afraid of being labelled as racist so I thank you for bringing this topic up. Please understand this is the result of runaway immigrations with no real screening. The government quadrupled immigration, hundreds of percents increase in students, asylum seekers, and illegal entries, even though there was already a housing crisis, and a completely predictable doctor shortage due to aging out. Covid was just starting to get under control but many still needed treatment and BOOM, the population went from 30 million in 2014 to over 40 million in a decade, most of it in the last 3 years. We native Canadians are scratching our heads, we don't understand what the Liberals are trying to accomplish but to create suspicion and racism between groups of people -- divide and conquer? Maybe...but ultimately it is a complete lack of planning! Still 99 percent of Canadian born do not blame Iindividual ndians for this. I've lived and worked with Indians my entire life of over 60 years. There are now Indian gangs, particularly Punjabi gangs because of lack of oversight, and while they are small they are constantly committing crimes, selling drugs, shooting people all in the last few years. I hear gun shots nightly in my ethnically mixed neighbourhood, and we are all afraid to walk at night. Unfortunately the people arrested are mostly from continental India. Some have a political agenda that has to do more with India than Canada, so they recruit young Indo-Canadian children from good families and tell them they are being oppressed, and next thing these kids are acting as drug mules and enforcers, being told that they are fighting systemic racism. As for dancing and music, I love the cultural events, we are happy to see and even take part in Indian cultural events. IWhen I do hear people blaming India and Indians it breaks my heart too! Hopefully together we can fix this. Our governments are at odds, and I hate this -- they need to respectfully talk and work this out. It is mostly the fault of the incompliant and corrupt Liberal government for the massive influx of unskilled India workers/students. Under previous sane governments, there were manageable caps that controlled the influx and allowed for proper immigration of vetted and skilled workers, but the Liberals stopped properly vetting people and basically opened the flood gates. For a Canadian company to hire foreign workers, they used to have to prove there were no Canadian workers to do that job, so foreign workers were mostly used in seasonal agriculture work, but due to very shady government deals with big corporations Trudeau approved paying wage subsidy and turning a blind eye to Canadian workers so Singh Hortons (and many other big businesses) could have workers for a cut rate and the government tax dollars paid up to 70% of wages and welfare. Also Foreign workers think they can stay here once their visa's expire, refusing to leave. There is simply no need for Canada to bring in over a million Indians that are in hard times in their own country. Our welfare or culture can't stand it. Not sure if you missed it or not, but India's foreign minister at the start of summer, thanked Trudeau for taking all their criminals, and low caste people. But People need to follow proper immigration policy, and not buy a ticket to Canada from a India scammer guaranteeing citizenship, which has been the case as well. FEEDBACK: It boggles my mind that so few people ever put 2 and 2 together... The reason that the cost of living in greater Vancouver & Toronto is outrageous is simple: a Liberal government long ago enshrined the 'right' of new immigrants to go where they felt like, rather than where the country needed them. Simple supply & demand economics did the rest. They did this to sew up the immigrant vote. I'm bitter about it because I lost my life savings investing in a 27-suite apartment building in Winnipeg and, while Vancouver & Toronto were booming too much, there was actual out-migration from Manitoba, property values fell and I lost my apartment building. (It's very disheartening to pump more money into something when you have negative equity!) Thanks for nothing, Liberals, NDP & Conservatives too (the latter being too chicken to ever mention the issue.. they're all courting the immigrants more than the good of the country).
