The Indian Rupee is worth absolutely nothing in comparison to the canadian dollar. Yet somehow they can buy stores and franchises without a problem. This is money laundering at its best. Deport the entire lot that has come in over the last nine years.

Approximately 80 percent of the Indian students coming to Canada are actually the silt of Indian society. They are not good even in India, forget about being the creamy layer. It would do a lot of good to Canada to send them back; otherwise, they would become an invasive virus for Canadian society. Yes, stereotyping all Indians would be equally harmful. Most of them are wonderful and intelligent and contribute significantly to Canadian society and economy.

We noticed that there's a lot of Indian Nationals when we visited Vancouver last year and this past June in Toronto. You see them as soon as you arrived at the airport. We thought we were in India not Canada

There's a lot of pilipinos student they're bringing their families here in Canada, per families they 1-6 children and the tax payers are suffering to pay their children tuition fees. Hopefully, the international students after their study they should leave here in Canada.

What are the companies employing them doing? They need to train their workers to smile. A lot of American employees do not smile at grocery shops and many Canadian drug addicts poop on the streets of Vancouver. Stop being an apologist and grow a spine. This unruly behavior is probably from students who think that they can get away with everything, like in India. The Canadian police needs to crackdown if these behaviors violate their laws. Whatever Indians are doing is no different than what anyone else does. You cannot force anyone to be good mannered. As long as they follow the law, they are good. Everyone’s personality is their own business.

I worked in new construction plumbing, building mosques and really got along well with those guys. had lots of fun. but when I get a service call and its an Indian last name I kinda cringe tbh. even my Indian friends tell me not to work for Indians lol. that said, there's lots of good Indians here

I find when Indians come to Canada they bring there own brand of racism but if you as a Canadian point it out or bring it to light .... We're the racist. They've brought and want to condone the negatives of their culture. A lot of their murders towards family members go overlooked.

I am Canadian. My problem is not with the Indians, it the rate of immigration is far out pacing our infrastructures to support all of them. There's a lot of greed fueling issues. Foreigners are being exploited for cheap labor and wage suppression, indian students are being pumped into colleges at inflated rates. There was a lobby group called the century initiative that really pushed for 100mil Canadians by year 2100 that seems to have been a big part of why there was such an aggressive push. It's members were affiliated with companies that stood to profit greatly from the housing crisis.\n\nIndians are not the problem. It's a fucked up system and a lag in infrastructure. I want all that come here to thrive, and it's possible. We need to come together in order to problem solve this. \nWe can lead with empathy, and revolt with innovation. Look for opportunities to begin positive feedback loops with locals. I've noticed the accent can really make or break an interaction between Indians and locals. Really focus on perfecting the language and the local manners is my first suggestion for newcomers. \nSecondly is just to get involved. When locals see foreigners joining them in efforts to improve the community we warm up to them. When prejudice divides us, we are enabling the exploitation by the ruling classes that are disconnected from our hardship.\n\nGood luck

When you try to change a country's culture, you find resistance. If you want India here, go back there. Don't turn Canada into the shithole India is. Stereotyping is always based in truth. Own the problem and fix it. Canada has always been receptive to Indians and Indians have always melded well, worked hard, bought land and businesses and have been excellent citizens. Now, we see tribal feuds in BC, illegally armed citizens, open violence and yes Brampton, the worst drivers in Canada. I have three new immigrant families as neighbors and all are polite, quiet people who just want to exists peacefully. Unfortunately, many new arrivals do no fit that mould. Crapping on a beach or in a parking lot is not tolerated here and there is video evidence of the latter on YouTube.

Indians from India donot have manners they like to boss too much break the law everywhere they go honesty is not in their mind all they want is how to cheat. As FRENCH, I think it is more an issue with policies set by both governments!!! You know you bring students IN and why don’t you build houses and encourage construction???? In France, many students (mainly Africa, and French departments like Guadeloupe, Tahiti or Martinique) come to study there (for free and we are proud of it!!!) BUT - unlike Canada - we do NOT have the same issues as Canada (our healthcare is NOT under pressure and our housing prices haven’t really increased that much as compared to Canada for example!!!) to me, the students are NOT to blame!!! It is the fault of the deciders (at different level) who have FAILED to set the right policies!!!! The schools are also to blame as some (not all) are so obsessed with making profits out of the higher international fees, which by way, subsidize Canadian students!!! So in Canada (not in France or Germany), the money that allows schools to function come from international students who BRING LOTS OF MONEY for the Canadian economy!!!! in France, it is different as the universities are FREE and are fully subsidized by the French government… but yes;) you have to speak French fluently to attend them!!! \nSo dear Canadians, do not blame foreign students thanks to whom your universities thrive and remain existant!!! Without them (namely the Indians too), the Canadian universities will struggle to find money and funding! Remember, the system in France is TOTALLY different!!!!

Not all Indians abuse the system but there are a lot that do. Canada needs to curb immigration. It's hard enough for our young people and everyone without the added strain of too much too soon.

Indian students go abroad for study, work and hoping for PR. But the time has changed because of lots of unemployment in their citizens and illegal immigration. The unemployed Indian students need to return home and are unlikely to receive a work permits

I’m Canadian Indian and I noticed Indians from India have very low consciousness and they lack a lot of common sense. If anyone travelled to India, it’s a sh*t show there. They bring their BS stunts to Canada and think they can show their low IQ behaviours here.

The caregiver program should go through reform. With the current immigration law with giving the caregivers Permanent Residency putting a lot of pressure on the employers who are working hard and paying taxes to bring the caregivers in Canada. The caregivers are taking advantages by exercising their rights as soon as they lands in Canada. Where is the protection for the employers who are working round the clock to bring the caregivers but the caregivers are abusing the systems and goodwills of the employers. The caregiver program should be like it was before when the caregivers needed to work here for 10 years to get the permanent residency. Otherwise it is becoming difficult for the employers to retain the newly hired caregivers under the new program as the caregivers are getting PR as soon as they lands. Employers need protection. Employers brings caregivers from foreign lands and as soon as they arrive the caregivers can quit and change employer and start exercising their rights as PR - it has to stop to protect the employer because of the employers hard earned money and goodwill they can land here, employers should not suffer for their goodwill and needs.\nWe Canadian employers need workers not the abusers.\nThe caregivers should be brought in temporary work permit and sent back or give PR after 10 years after they contribute to Canada but not award them with PR as soon as they land. Otherwise the lack of workers in this field will never be fulfilled. Many people from poor countries like Philippines are waiting eagerly to come even with low wages, because the money they get is huge compared to any third world countries.\nThis is not justice to indian students who came here to study are preparing to contribute are being sent back.

Please make sure you highlight on how China has retained it's Culture and identity which the Indians lack, we have an identity crisis too. I am a finland National and i did my student exchange in Canada for 3 months 4years ago with Lots of indian students in my class,i honestly admire their hardworking and resilient spirit,i still have few them as friends,though i am back in Finland and employed,so also is my Indians friends they are employed in canada and paying taxes,I am just curious why Canada is targeting and don't want this group in Canada,maybe Canadians don't need more workers :)

I have met a lot of Indians both good and bad. When you go to a store or somewhere you have this race of people who won't speak Canadian language, unless it's absolutely necessary. God forbid if you say to them they should speak English ior French in Canada, you are always called racist. When you hear of a murder of drug raid, it's almost always an Indian name. Hell, when you are cut off in traffic, well as you said in ithe beginning they look like you, not me. As I said at the first I have met and made friends with Indians, but it begins to piss you off, when there are so many. Our government has to stop the import of one race and if need be choose a little of all races, and prepare.

I live in South Etobicoke. There has been a lot of Indians moving in the past couple of years. Most of them are pretty cool. They just keep to themselves and go about their business.

Please Don’t blame Indian people, blame Canada’s government. Indian people come with Education and money. Yes we have our own culture and own language but we also like Canadian people and their culture. Canadian government wants more money and that’s why they are inviting more n more students from world and mostly come from India and there is nothing wrong with that. All Indians come here in Canada as a true immigrant. Why you are not talking about so many refugees, who come to Canada with no education no money and they are burden on government. Compare to refugees, Indians work hard, get education here, pay fees in colleges, earn work permit and then pass English exam and then get PR and then citizenship. Indians work hard and earn PR and citizenship here in Canada but what about refugees and asylum seekers. They fucking don’t do anything and they fucking easily get PR citizenship. Why you’re not talking about this ???? Immigrants come to Canada from all over world not just India. Lots immigrants from African countries,Bangladesh, Pakistan, Philippines and so on. So don’t talk about only Indians. In last 5 years, Canada invited so many refugees from all over world. So talk about this also.

Most of Chinese students would apply to top tier university and majors only, if they didn't got in they switch to other countries like AU or UK, US or just go back to china. However a lot of indians doesn't care about the college rating or even major, they just came here to work anyway.

Indo Canadian here, there are sure a lot of Indians here. I'll be very candid with my opinion, it's not hate as much as it's fact. And this doesn't just apply to Indians but South Asians they refuse to assimilate, don't understand social cues, are very misbehaved and now it's like there is a wave of anti Indian sentiment (mostly from Anglo Canadians).
