I am born and raised in NYC. In Queens many businesses are now suffering with lack of staff and the owners or their family members are now doing the work they’ve been paying immigrants that don’t have their paperwork together to do. It is sad so many people trying to start over and get treated poorly! As a community member it is also annoying having to wait much longer for food or the quality of atmosphere lacking now etc I know something needed to be done in regards to the immigration issue but at the same time it sucks to realize just how many people were being taken advantage of in ALL the local businesses smh. If you go to an emergency room even in a small town where they only have one hospital in Canada you will be treated immediately if you have a severe condition there is no waiting

When I go to the hospital in Canada I don't have to wait if people think that then they're wrong and then I get treated and don't pay a thing so I hope Americans understand that they pay thousands of dollars for healthcare that most Canadians can walk in and get for free,, yes it comes off our taxes but everybody in the country taste those taxes even if they don't use Healthcare so it helps people that are really in need

Unfortunately, the Indian tourists I've seen in Thailand have shown little respect and dont follow the rules. I saw many times tourists throwing their garbage onto the beach or making a mess and leaving it. I also saw Indian men approaching married women who were with their families and treating them prostitutes, It was disgusting behaviour. If that happened in India, there would be outrage. I believe etiquette must be taught before these types of people are allowed to travel representing your country.

I am Québécois, and things here are quite different from the rest of Canada. For example, we have a law here that clearly forbids wearing religious signs when in a position of authority. Even a teacher, because they are a figure of authority for their students, could not wear the Roman collar, a cassock, a hijab, a niqab or anything else of the sort while in school. In the streets or any other public place, there is no problem at all. Everyone is welcomed to express their difference of culture or religion in the way they dress or in whatever other way. They are treated with the same respect and kindness as anywhere else in Canada. It is only that the separation of religion and state, and religion and authority is paramount here. Everybody is free and can express themsleves freely. But don't use that freedom to impose your views onto others. \nSo, when American judges are chosen for the federal court specifically because of their christian fundamentalist biases, it doesn't resonate well at all for me or the majority of Québécois. When the rights of the LGBTQ+ community are being questioned or jeopardised. Or a previous federal judgement like Roe v Wade is being overturned for religious reasons... it is a definite turn off for all of the Québec people to even remotely consider the United States as a destination to emigrate to (supposing that one would want to leave our beautiful country).\nMore and more, America, that used to be recognized as the land of the free, appears to be retrograde and restrictive and definitely not so free.
