Is Canada a white country? No, it belongs to native Americans. White people are illegal migrants who arrived in Canada without permission from the natives. Indians and other immigrants have at least come after seeking permission from the government of the day. White people came without permission.

North American continent originally belonged to the native Americans. Land was forcefully taken from them, and since then people from other continents has been migrating here. Originally it was Europeans who migrated here in large numbers, now that was extended to rest of the world. When the Italian immigrants came to the United States, they were treated bad so was the Irish immigrants, now the Indians are the newer immigrants, some people are getting upset about that. People are moving into one city because they feel comfortable being around their own race.

As American born North Indians, we stand with the Canadians.

Im Bangladeshi-American, born in America. My parents were immigrants. I dont understand how its anyone's concern what language people speak with family and friends or if someone does not know English. In a free country, you can speak whatever language you want, wear your cultural clothing, and eat your culture's food. why does one need to adapt to the local area? The law doesnt oblige them... At some point, my father worked in the oil industry overseas. A bunch of Indians showed up wanting a managerial job, along with the hard working Americans and Europeans. The latter were confused,l. They thought that those Indians must have lacked the knowledge to read, write, or think, to demand a management position, when Americans and Europeans worked so hard to be where they are now. \n They advised the Indians to never want to see their faces again. \n I come to Canada, and see Indians and Chinese sitting in our parliament. I've worked for the same tech company for over 25 years. Even as little as 15 years ago Indians and Pakis made up maybe 7% tops of the employees. Now they are about two-thirds. The company has layed off American-born workers in favor of H-1Bs.

The worst part about Indians, Chinese and Arabs etc is that they don’t really integrate/assimilate in the countries they immigrate to. They continue with the same segregated systems that forced them to run from their homelands. Big difference compared to African, South Americans, Japanese, Koreans, and Western Europeans who actually try to assimilate to the countries they immigrate to. It makes sense that if you are running away from a failed system, you must assimilate to the new system or else you’ll also destroy the new system if you bring in the same behaviors.

I’m Mexican-American who lives in Newfoundland and tend to lean more “liberal” but I agree 100% on this. Even here in Newfoundland you are stating to see more Indians than anything else. And muslims as well. The only thing I hate is that they all work cash and don’t pay taxes and they do have lots of kids and our taxes pay for that. You're free to judge but I have not seen any Indian/ Asian/ Latino immigrant homeless. Indians bring high skill in IT, banking and medicine which Canada desperately needs. Latino/ European ethnic immigrants also work very hard (construction/ farms etc.) and support their families and children. These basic skills keeps Canada running. Immigrant children are the highest number of graduate degree holders. Students line up in hundreds because they are willing to work and make a mark. They stand in freezing weather for hours just to try their luck. That's dedication. The only homeless I have seen are Canadians/ Native Americans even when the govt. pays millions in welfare and development programs to get their life back on track. Also, all these immigrants pay thousands of dollars to come to Canada (Visa fees, plane tickets, moving expenses) so that they can pay taxes to Canadians. Why are you crying all the time just they are not into cold pasta?

Ok.. I haven’t any issues with the Indian people. I would however like to see certain things adopted for everyone’s sake. For example; fast food has been popular since the 60’s & 70’s it hit popular because menu items were tested and the way a burger is assembled right down to the condiments was worked out by the franchisers and food experts in the North Americans tastes and preferences. To be uncomfortably honest. I have not had a burger from a fast food restaurant that I truly enjoyed for a few years now. And I suspect that franchisees from India and the preferred employees also Indian do not grow up eating North American cuisine and do not fundamentally understand how foul too much condiments can make an item. And there is seemingly Zero effort to learn how to correctly assemble the products. Quite frankly I would be surprised if the employees that do the work would eat the food they make due to the culinary culture. And if they do.. I doubt it prepared in the same manner as for average customers. I just don’t think mayonnaise, ketchup & mustard are used in India on food. How would we expect them to understand the mistake at all.

I am an American citizen of Indian descent. But I always loved and appreciated Canada. I love hockey since I was 7, huge NHL fan, lover of Tim Hortons and Canadian poutine. Jobs are everywhere but employers know that immigrants are more disciplined, hard working and appreciative of the opportunities provided, when compared to the average Canadian-born citizen. Move to Washington state and the economy is much better than British Columbia. In Washington state you save 50 percent of your earnings. The American dollar goes far and many many many jobs. There are no job in British Columbia and they are called slave labored jobs working at Walmart or as a Amazon delivery job. I met some Indian people in Blaine and Bellihgham and tell me Greater Vancouver is too expensive. Also American people know how to create jobs. Anyways Justin Trudeau destroyed British Columbia's economy and Canada too. In about two years I will be moving close to Seatlle, Washington and I will checkout Portland and Eugene, Oregon. Anyways Oregon looks like British Columbia. Half of British Columbia was the Oregon Territory that extended to Prince George.

Here in the states there is a mass influx of Indians in colleges too. I’ve seen them come over in droves to work in software/IT jobs displacing American workers.

Canada should put visa cap including immigration per country....follow the American policy. Its simply too many Indians that is changing the demographic balance by one ethnic group called Indian. And International student should not have full time work authorization, its directly hitting the location population employment opportunities.

Toronto people complain that really all they get is two, true warm months of summer. June is sort of warm, but it can be cold at night and suffer cold snaps. Finally warm August comes to an end. While many Americans to the south struggle through an Indian summer of continued high heat into September and even early October, September brings the cold temperatures back to Canada, not yet freezing, mind you, but full autumn where the jackets have to come out and you don't see the welcome, warm, sunny sunshine and the ability to sit outdoors wearing thin clothing.

Very true it is not worth it. You leave everything behind but after 25 years you loseyour kids to a foreign culture, they have none of that Indianness, they speak like a foreign person. (Like a lot of families move from gulf countries to their south asian countries for college,having personally experienced as well as my cousins who lived in Jeddah and loads of other relatives)\n1. So pls look for muslim countries that offer good education otherwise you will have to send them again to UK USA Canada for good college.\n2. Abu Dhabi can be a option as well\n3. Saudi Arabia\n4.Qatar\n5. Turkey\n6. Schooling works differently in gulf countries, for example you have Indian schools that run on the CBSE pattern of India, Pakistani schools, Sri Lankan schools, International School with a British curriculum, International schools with American style curriculum, proper Native schools of that country that teach in Arabic.( Again this my experience in Oman, my cousins in Jeddah went to Indian school of Jeddah, so pls wisely choose the school that you want your children to attend)\n\n(this comment is just an opinion, hope it helps.
