Proud dual citizen Canadian here. Love the country, people and culture. However, the Liberal politics of the last 9 years have been a disaster, from high inflation, uncontrolled immigration, lack of pro business investments, homelessness, housing… this is to list just a few issues. The same thing has been happening in the US and Western Europe. Thank you God for helping elect Donald Trump. Many on this forum may not like the guy, but he was before, and will be good for the country, economy, overall people of the US and indirectly Canada. The Trudeau gang must go, a monkey could do a better job governing this beautiful Canada than that moron Trudeau. Do you all remember him saying…. “ the budget will balance itself”…. WTF… Really Justin???

I actually glad that the Liberal Government is finally listening and closing the gates on this very Misguided Program. Indo South Asians have found all sorts of loopholes to Undermine our systems----the immigration application system, cyber fraud, education & training programs, rental housing and employment exploitation.

Ive lived in Winnipeg most my life. Vancouver for a time. It was too tough in vancouver but winnipeg has been very chill. Also as a diabetic I'm greatful for healthcare I only pay for around 20% of my meds. We've talked about moving somewhere where rent is cheaper, meds are cheap and groceries are affordable. But I've never found such place...I stay because the people here are amazingly empathetic, yet very strong. Its sad to have a liberal government that have conservative policies for the rich. Itd be nice to vote NDP for something different.

I think we should also be bracing for a stream of American Democrats and liberals moving north. Trump 2.0 isn't the same as 1.0. That time it was I'm leaving because. . . This time its I'm leaving because I might not be welcome here anymore. Although highly unlikely because of our close proximity one could even argue that an American brain drain might also happen as scientists move north to continue their research free of government interference. Remember Einstein read the room in the 1930s and left Germany for America. This could now happen to America as scientists read the room and walk away with their research saying let those Christian Nationalist deal with nuclear fission with just God's hands.

I am guessing 5 million Indians will march towards Canada and it is safe to presume that Immigration India formerly known as Immigration Canada is gearing up to accept all these as permanent residents namely the ones with diapers over their heads and I presume Transit companies, municipalities, hospitals, schools, banks, etc.. across Canada are gearing up to hire them right on the spot. Thanks to the Liberals, Canada is now run by the Prime Minister Of India. Happy new India for the illegal Indians. Canadians are complaining about shortage of housing, jobs etc...well that would be the least of your worries because there will soon be shortage of food, diapers, gas, cars and a lot more. If Canada is blessed the Conservatives win a whopping majority to clean all this Indian mess. The solution to these illegal immigrants is super easy and will not cost the government a penny. All the government has to do is give these pricks a 3 months grace period after which anyone overstays gets added to a Black list which means no permanent residency even if they spend the rest of their lives here and any child born to these pricks does not qualify for automatic citizenship plus fines for every day of overstaying with no maximum limit and denial of acceptance even if they leave at a later time and apply from overseas including family reunions. Conservatives will assemble a legal committee to revoke the status of anyone who switched from visitor, fake student etc... to permanent resident and order them deported. Trump is not joking and he will kick out millions in just 1 year because he has robust means and eager sheriffs to round them like chicken and ship them out.

I'm a black Canadian who's a naturalised citizen, and I agree that the immigration quota at 500,000 per annum under Trudeau until very recently was way too high. With high inflation, rising employment, brutal real estate and rent prices, a lack of housing for students and workers, and an overburdened healthcare system, the problem is not immigrants but our inability to be able to absorb that many while protecting the services and interests of Canadian citizens. In short, this is the Liberal government's fault for this situation. When I was finally able to visit home in Calgary in summer 2023 after years of Covid travel restrictions, it shocked me how messed up things were.

Because like England ... Canada is letting in way to many unqualified people. 10 YEARS of Liberal Government has been a disaster for Canada!

it needs to be less than 300k a year. 395k is still much higher than what is was in 2019. Harper did a great job and when the liberals took over, we had nothing but corruption and scandals and life is now so unaffordable. Canada needs immigrants to fuel the economy but it has to be done right. I am so sorry, as a native Canadian, that Indians are feeling attacked. It is difficult, no matter your ethnic background, if you are not Indian to even acknowledge these issues because people are afraid of being labelled as racist so I thank you for bringing this topic up. Please understand this is the result of runaway immigrations with no real screening. The government quadrupled immigration, hundreds of percents increase in students, asylum seekers, and illegal entries, even though there was already a housing crisis, and a completely predictable doctor shortage due to aging out. Covid was just starting to get under control but many still needed treatment and BOOM, the population went from 30 million in 2014 to over 40 million in a decade, most of it in the last 3 years. We native Canadians are scratching our heads, we don't understand what the Liberals are trying to accomplish but to create suspicion and racism between groups of people -- divide and conquer? Maybe...but ultimately it is a complete lack of planning! Still 99 percent of Canadian born do not blame Iindividual ndians for this. I've lived and worked with Indians my entire life of over 60 years. There are now Indian gangs, particularly Punjabi gangs because of lack of oversight, and while they are small they are constantly committing crimes, selling drugs, shooting people all in the last few years. I hear gun shots nightly in my ethnically mixed neighbourhood, and we are all afraid to walk at night. Unfortunately the people arrested are mostly from continental India. Some have a political agenda that has to do more with India than Canada, so they recruit young Indo-Canadian children from good families and tell them they are being oppressed, and next thing these kids are acting as drug mules and enforcers, being told that they are fighting systemic racism. As for dancing and music, I love the cultural events, we are happy to see and even take part in Indian cultural events. IWhen I do hear people blaming India and Indians it breaks my heart too! Hopefully together we can fix this. Our governments are at odds, and I hate this -- they need to respectfully talk and work this out. You are good neighbours, good people, you are welcome here and have helped build Canada in so many positive ways. ?

Every single canadian needs to watch this. For 45 minutes, forget your bias and just take it in. Our government is not only failing canadians. It's failing humanity. Our liberal party is destroying our global reputation.

I do support limiting the amount of these students who can stay in Canada, but at the same time I really feel bad for a lot of these students who were sold a lie from the Liberal government. Most of them from India and just wanting to create a better life for themselves, many of them given these false promises by these Canadian schools who sold desperate people on these worthless courses or programs where the market is brutally over saturated. I completely understand these students feeling like they have been exploited by our garbage and extremely unethical Government and College and University system.

It’s exactly the same in Australia, and has been getting progressively worse under both left and right leaning governments. The conservative government was a disaster for housing/cost of living and the liberals haven’t been much better. The vast majority of elected legislators here are relatively wealthy landlords with substantial investment property portfolios. It’s not in their interests to fix the housing crisis. They also vote themselves huge salaries and regular pay rises. They are relatively immune to the cost of living crisis. Australian food banks and similar charities are overwhelmed. We have two main supermarket chains, Coles & Woolworths. They both perpetuate rampant price gouging with abandon. Big corporations, especially international ones, pay very little to no tax. This is happening all over the world under governments of every stripe.

I'll add some context to our government. Prime minister harper who was an economics major I believe started saying no to the aboriginal peoples stopped catering to them. During the election it was a collective that all natives would vote ndp and the liberals were second last only behind the green party. Getting closer to the election Trudeau promised if elected to legalize marijuana and fund more efforts towards missing indigenous women ( that's a whole other story in itself). Trudeau won a majority government. They won't admit it but alot of blue collar people voted for Trudeau because of the legalization of weed. Fast forward immigration grew and new immigrants were strategically placed in certain cities and areas to vote for the liberals. The next election Trudeau lost the popular vote but won based on Canada's version of the electoral college. This time around I don't think he can win I've heard very very few people in this country say they want him so in a year things may get better or the damage is done.

What ? There's no universities in the whole of India. Are the Indian teachers at the universities across India too stupid to educate the Indian students in India ?? ? I don't feel sorry for these Indian students who are too stupid to realize they have been scammed by the Trudeau Liberal government. Just so that Justin Trudeau can get his hands on more money scamming people. 70,000 Indian students from India who spend thousands of dollars ? that's a lot of money for the Trudeau Liberal government.

I hope no one is dumb enough to think this is simply Liberal or Conservative or even NDP issue...they've all failed Canada, and all have been doing nothing but helping those who utilize housing as pure investment and nothing more. Apply this to any of the sectors discussed in the video; banking, telecom, housing, etc.\n\nEVERY, and I mean EVERY government over the last 30+ years has been looking out for those with capital at the expense of everyone else. Every government has had an opportunity to completely change any number of sectors that are entirely not in the average citizen's favour, and they've gone the opposite route and helped their buddies with deep pockets instead.\n\nDon't get me started on the fact that the common citizen is far too stupid and hung up supporting a colour/team to really demand more from their government. Or they're too busy thinking about $1 beers at the expense of the firesale happening under their feet.
