Sounds to me like Trudeau's scared of this trade war it's almost as if he didn't listen to anything Trump said. Make Canada America's 51st state it basically already is.

I'm a Canadian living in the USA. I want to fly my Canadian flag, but the Americans will take that as our house wants Canada as a 51st state. It will never happen!

I wish my state (Michigan) could secede and join with Canada. I for one would be a lot happier.

Simply his fanaticism and ignorance lead him to claim an economic war with America, he forgets that the poorest state in the USA has a per capita income higher than the richest state in Canada! Its economy depends on America for more than 287 billion annually! This political arrogance is only the confirmation of his lack of leadership and is dealing a fatal blow to the Canadian economy.

Canada's Tariff applied to the United States will cause some price inflation, price increase, for a short time until the United states establish compaines to produce the same good and services that were tariffed. Once goods and service producted by the United States exceeds the Canadian goods and services that were tarriffed, the prices will come down. President Donald Trump did this to grow United States and Employment and cause price deflation over the long term. Hopefully Canada has the resources to do the same. Yes Fentanyl is a terrible thing. But I know for a fact its the 1st thing they give you in the hospital now a days in Canada for pain not sure about the United States. Obviously in very very small doses but im sure the price us right.

In Canada, there is a lot of divisiveness between our conservative and liberal political parties. But what is incredible is how much support Trudeau holds in this trade war conflict . While his reign is nearly over, nationally all political parties have come together (in majority numbers) for a unified approach. Trump has single-handedly ostracized the United States from the rest of the world.
