I think racism is on the rise in Canada, because communites are seeing masses of Indians overtaking their community and erasing canadian culture and replacing it with their own. India is a third world country, I don't think nice canadian communities are receptive to tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of Indians then coming into that community and speaking their own language, playing their own music, following their own relegion, celebrating their own holidays, dressing like they do back home, playing cricket and soccer etc... and that becoming common place rather than tradidional canadian culture. This is the worst time and place to be in Canada. Very challenging job market, housing unaffordability, health care crisis, day care crisis. Basically, you wait three or four months to see a specialist doctor. You wait three or four months to get an ultrasound examination. It is worse than third-world countries. Canada is becoming worse every day anyway!!! Salary are low (while cost of living is skyrocketing), which is why we have so many Canadians and immigrants who are becoming so anxious, depressed and facing all sorts of mental problems), people are moody, quality of life is decreasing and transport is trash compared to France and the lack for doctors is making this country look like a third world\nEconomy!!! I have recently come across the case of a young Irish woman with a brain tumour currently living in Canada and whose treatment by the Canadian public health system has been frankly shocking. I live in Britain and over the last few years, there have been increasingly negative reports coming out of Canada, in particular regarding its lax immigration system; its encouragement of Third World migrants; adoption of multiculturalism and an illiberal liberalism which has seen conservative figures like Dr Jordan Peterson bullied and professionally sidelined. It sounds like a lot pf the blame can be laid at the door of its virtue-signalling, narcissistic prime minister, Justin Trudeau. Tragic that yet another great society built by Europeans is now in the process of being dismantled.

Toronto resident here. I do agree with everything that Alina pointed out. Those thing exist. But the only REAL problem is the high cost of rent. It now equals and even surpasses the cost of a mortgage. If the rent problem were resolved, and they can do this by simply building more housing (which they are now starting to do - with government programs and incentives), then most of these problems Alina reported on would recede or disappear completely. \n\nAlso, the homelessness is not visually worse than anywhere else I've visited. Homeless encampments are visible in every city I've been too. However, in Toronto, a LOT of homeless people come from other parts of Canada. \n\nThe violence that Alina referred to was just a snapshot in time. She made her video around 4 months ago, and at that time there were several truly shocking incidents on the subway (which even made international news). Those incidents have not continued. The subway system, and Toronto, is still a very, very safe city. We are the third largest city in North America, after LA and NYC, and we had something like 50 homicides last year. Chicago has like 500. Just by way of example. \n\nI love Toronto, even though it is very expensive to pay rent here. But there is so much to offer that I wouldn't consider living somewhere else. Not a chance. It's great that you can live somewhere else if you work remotely, but when you're not working, what do you do?...Toronto is safe, clean (except in tourist season), with limitless opportunities for career and lifestyle. Wouldn't live anywhere else.

I grew up on the Canadian border so all the kids shows were out of Windsor CBET Ch9. I grew up on The Friendly giant, Mr. Dress up, etc. I also was heavily exposed to Canadian culture. I am SO glad I was born on the U.S side of the border, because Canada has been on the slide for quite some time. Trudeau has made matters a millions time worse, and now the nation is in dire straights. I recently have talked with Canadians about what is happening and they are pissed! Canada has always been on the liberal side, but they bought all in and now it is starting to become a third world banana republic.

Go try to renew your 600,000k mortgage on your million-dollar house that's now worth $800,000. \n\nHealth care is a problem - but where isn't it? The UK? The US? All the reasons you cited are legit. And you’re right to say that it’s all relative depending on where you come from. If you lived in Canada for a long time, you will probably cite all the reasons. But if you’re from another country specially from a third world country, Canada is very much better to improve their lives. For me, housing, expenses and weather are the most important reasons to leave Canada. It’s all relative.

My parents immigrated from Britain in the 1959s after WWII and built a comfortable life! At 72 I live a relatively comfortable life although I have spent all my savings and I currently rent! I lived in Spain with my much younger Colombian wife who passed away in 2019. My pension income is sufficient for me to live since I returned to Canada and I have better than adequate healthcare and dental care! The short story is \nTurd and the Turdettes were elected because Harpoons and his band of buttkissing bootlickers were self-serving incompetents. Now Turd, who has never been competent to be PM, which his long list of scandals should easily prove, is going to compel the election of another incompetent self-serving politician. Canadians never learn, switching from one idiot to another as the country spirals into the sewer. The proposed level of immigration and climate change options will turn Canada into a third world country? Maybe we can call it Turdland and then we will all be Turds!
