According to the news we broke 40 Million residents in Canada in the new year. They just announced that the Canadian population is already at 41 million as of last week. How can we absorb this many people. I would say the majority are from India. A lot of these new residents are amazing. But hear me out......For more than 70 years Canada has accepted diverse immigrants from around the world. These immigrants have always had challenges with acceptance and integration as they bought homes and had families and raised children to be Canadians. But these immigrants are economic migrants. They don't want to be Canadians like they used to. They want the PR, and the citizenship. But they want to work and move all that money out of Canada back to India. Then when they retire, they themselves will dump all their Canadian assets and move to India where cost of living and home ownership is exceedingly less expensive. Even their federal government pension plan money will move out of the country. I'll be totally truthful...MY perception of these economic migrants is that THEY HATE US. In India they are educated, come from Middle class and upper middleclass families. They want the PR and Citizenship so they can eventually pull their entire family from India over to Canada. But they have to Work at Burger king or Tim Hortons when they arrive. And the HATE and resent Canadians for it. \n Canada allows people to keep their foreign passports and citizenship. There are 300,000 people with Canadian citizenship living in Hong Kong, There are 450,000 people with Canadian citizenship living in Lebanon with a War about to expand across the border. We cannot continue with this.....every time one of these places destabilizes they end up on the CBC waiving their Canadian passports demanding the Canadian government do something to get them out. \n The Author of the video is correct. IT isn't about hate or xenophobia...Its about making sure that people who come here want to be here, Are taken care of properly, contribute to Canada and its development, integrate into out society and culture, and do not make life harder for the people - ALL OF THEM - already here.

The Canadian government makes alot of money in immigration fees from immigrants but before they were bringing people from all over the world but for past decade it happens to be alot of east Indians, i lived in Brampton for 20 years but decided to move out in 2021 because it didn’t feel like i was living in Canada anymore thanks to Mr Trudeu who gave them ez pass , all the jobs were finished, employers only wanted to hire newcomers so they can exploit them n then you see them protesting on roads, residential areas for not getting paid by employers,failing in college, visa renewal issues, This was another reason why you see so many homeless people and higher rent rates! The government should have balance of jobs before they start bringing immigrants to come and undercut the wages

Instead of focusing on the real problem, which is the imbalance between immigration and infrastructure, you made this entire thing about a race. \n\nHere's some news for you. Indians are not going anywhere. Just like immigrants from other countries, they cater to the growing demands of Canada. Btw, do you know how Canadian immigration works? Are you aware of the skilled worker program? Do you know how many points are required to get a permanent residence? Every nationality has an equal chance at it, and when Indians score the highest points, it's not because of their skin color. Ever travelled in a go train towards downtown Toronto? You will find your answers. Indians, or skilled immigrants from any other nationality are not free loaders, their education and skills enables them to get a PR.\n\nNow come to students. Canadian colleges have set the bar extremely low - all they need is a high school education and basic proficiency in English. Why, you ask? It's because the colleges and universities depend on international students for their revenue who pay thrice the amount as domestic students. These international students, after completing their education, fill in the workforce demands of Canada. They secure their residency through legit government immigration programs. Sure, some cheat the system, but the vast majority works their butts off to achieve it.\n\nSo yeah, if you want to stop Indians from coming in, shut down the immigration system entirely. Yeah I being Indian I have faced lot of problems from Indian land lord , they are pain. Again all of them are not same , as India is a wide nation with different sub culture in there. Some are really cool and some are the worst you may find. Again students should understand they are not a citizen that they can ask for offer right now Canadian gov is running stupid thanks to pm JT. Also, if you don't bring value to the country, you will be the first victim of deportation. If you had a valuable skill or strong academic accolades you would not be kicked out, but because you don't, you are getting kicked out, which is more than fair when a country cannot house you without hurting its own population. Two sides to all coins. \nThat said, I see that while the anonymous hate towards immigrants was always there, this atmosphere has changed the humble and polite Canadians into angry ones in open. I think it is government's fault for bringing people here, so we should point our anger correctly. the infrastructure of Canada cannot handle a million new people a year. the Liberal government has exploited international students and temporary workers too much and needs to be reigned in. these policies and practices do not benefit Canadians, only landlords and franchise owners and the tax collectors are getting the benefits. you and i get inflated demand on rent and food prices. overcrowded classrooms and hospitals. delivery drivers who can't understand english and drive like maniacs. this is exacerbating the housing crisis in such a way that a single person cannot compete for the cost of a one bedroom apartment when a group of indians will share the cost with as many as seven people in one unit. our infrastructure, housing and transit was never intended to have this many people. there isn't even any rapid transit outside a handful of cities. mass immigration is also leading to election interference and could be used to vote in WEF garbage that will ruin even more nice things we take for granted. our high trust society is gone. shameless life hacks and citizenship of convenience is all most migrants are coming for. mass immigration is bringing down the standard of living in Canada. poverty and homelessness are out of control. whether its the chaos of crime or the eyesore of encampments. whether its was just a package on your porch or your car stolen from your driveway, the government isn't handling the load that mass immigration is putting on society and Canada's legal system is a joke. its almost like the Liberals are actively recruiting an army of psychopaths just to vote for them. the drugs and the gangs and the organized crime isn't worth the hollow platitudes and desperate social programs.

These comment section filled with Anti-Indian Hate. \nCanadian Immigration system is a Point Based System which means who ever have higher points will be awarded the Green Card or Work Permit. \nIndians are super competitive when it comes to immigration ? with their Levels of English, Education, Social support from society, French skills and Employment in High skills and young pool of people. It's a myth that Canada needs massive immigration, especially when Canada doesn't have enough affordable housing for everyone. The average Canadians aren't benefiting from immigration, only the corporations, fake colleges and immigration consultants are. It's disgusting the politicians are using desperate immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers for votes.\nThe future are robots and AI for most labour and manufacturing jobs. For example: Even the trucking industry will become self driving.\nIf the federal government stop taxing Canadians too death, and married couples will more children. Old stock Canadians really need to get back to raising children that value traditional families and not chase after careers and money. Put Canadian families first. All you need to do is ask regular people from Ottawa to Toronto and you'll find out that one city says another thing while another city says another. It's all centrist circlejerk politics. It's funny though, if you genuinely ask people, you'll find they don't like it. But if you ask people working for the government, health care, they are the most entitled, stuck up and naive people imaginable. They should tighten regulations regarding study permits and issue visas only to genuine students who want to grow in this beautiful country, rather than those planning to work at pizza shops for the rest of their lives. We also need to crack down on the aggressive sales practices of immigration consultants in developing nations like India. Let's not forget the big culprits behind this: the admissions officers of the colleges, who fully endorse these practices to meet their revenue targets by any means possible, all under the watchful eyes of the government and IRCC.\n\nI've witnessed this firsthand. I openly challenge those consultants and Canadian college admission officers to be upfront with prospective and future students and tell them in person, before accepting their applications, that a study permit does not guarantee permanent residency in Canada. Explain the rules behind that and see what happens next—people will stop coming to Canada altogether. Consultants and colleges need to be honest with their prospective students and not just include those important facts in a fine print under a bunch of paperwork. \n\nAnd my god, the programs most colleges sell—useless diplomas that are of no use in their home countries either. By the way, multiculturalism doesn't mean multiple laws. In Afghanistan, it's culture for 9 year old girls to be sold to 55 year old men but in Canada that's illegal. Stop discriminating against white people by not allowing white people from Germany, Ireland etc to immigrant to Canada. It's corporations who don't want to hire white people because desperate brown people are cheaper to hire and abuse. \n It was first indigenous who settled in this country. Then it was the British and French, who were Christians. Canadians laws, traditions culture & values are based on Christianity. Canada is not founded on Islamic laws, Hinduism caste system, or any other foreign religion that goes against tradition Christianity or progressive values such as having basic human rights. Of course non whites can be Christians or at least respect traditional Canada values but the federal government is making no effort to assimilate the new economic migrants recently coming to Canada. Denmark is enforcing immigrants to learn Danish to help stop the ghettos of mirgants who don't respect Danish culture. The federal government has no standards for who immigrates to Canada and they should be voted out!

The worst part is they take advantage of the governments loopholes, they don't respect Canadian culture... and like one of the interviewees said, they are only accepting their kind in workplaces. Lived in Mississauga for 30 years, never use to be like this. One more thing I need to get off my chest... as a renter myself, its becoming increasingly hard to find housing. If I find an ad that looks good, 80% of the time it asks for punjabi only, gujarati only, vegetarian only.... how is this legal?

Why did that many visas were offered at first place....and now suddenly after taking hundreds of thousands of dollars of fee now the Canadian government and population suddenly not liking them....Usual racist ranting....

It wasn't like this 8 years ago and there's so many people of a certain demographic that outnumbers the others. Now, it's really hard to find a part-time job as student and our healthcare system is plummeting as well. Why we keep accepting them when we can't even afford to help our own citizens? This current government needs to step-down now; we don't speak for them. The fact that these people are able to rally in our country is absurd and they don't even have the rights in our country. This shows how weak the Canadian law is. They don't respect us and they mock our system.

One thing I also noticed like in wood framing, trucking , roofing and drywall, just because a family member the indians know does one of these, they all tend to work together in the same industry , working cheaper and pushing Canadians who have done it their whole life, the government has to do a better job of spreading them out to more areas of expertise and not flood a couple markets

Instead of blaming these people, one must question their own government authorities who make the rules and legislation to facilitate this. Maybe it's just the truth of a desperate Canadian economy that needs immigrants to keep fueling the 'aging' Canadian economic engine. These people come in and work hard, odd jobs (not to mention the exceptional skilled ones as well like Doctors, health care workers etc.) which the regular Canadian wouldn't do. I've been in Canada for 2 years without a Family doctor. Thank God, the last 10 different Doctors I met were all fresh immigrants and came to my rescue. Ask your conscience, without these immigrants, you wouldn't be getting your late night coffee at the time Hortons drive thru, no one to take your blood works without you waiting several months in waiting, no ways for universities to subsidize tuition fees for the poorer Canadian students. If immigrants stop coming in, the nice detached home you live in will go down in value, the nice truck you drive will become more expensive, your kids University tuition fees will sky rocket, Canadian companies selling groceries, furniture, etc. Will have lesser revenue and eventually get eaten up be American giants, Canadian companies won't have cheap labour to build those much needed housing. \nNot only question your government, but also question your 'own' people.. Where are they to serve you? Where are the so called patriotic 'original' Canadian Doctors'? They are off to US to earn more money. U think they care enough for their home country?\n If Canada won't, somebody Else will accept these people. Hence get rid of ur ego and attitude, it's YOU that needs immigrants more than they need you ?? \nLastly, don't forget your ancestors too arrived here in ship loads from Europe as immigrants, taking away the land belonging to the native Indians who were slaughtered and today live as prisoners in reservation lands... on their own soil. So please stop this hypocritical bullsh$@. Maybe it's that karma that's catching up?

These students are from very wealthy families who often have housemaids and servants to do domestic chores and who can afford to pay ridiculous student tuition for a second-rate Canadian post-secondary education. There are top Indian schools where it costs maybe 1/8th the cost and the education is very, very good (e.g. Indian Institutes of Technology) and certainly better than what they are getting in these second-rate diploma mills in Ontario. Moreover, there are very good tech jobs in India in cities like Bangalore. What these students are really after is Canadian citizenship, through a pathway that does not require strong qualifications. They were promised that by Indian immigration consultants. With Canadian citizenship, it is much easier to travel and live in the US, where many of them want to go (and some are even now entering illegally). \nA second reason is that these younger adults want to live independently from their parents. Many of them arriving in Canada are living on their own or with other students, for the first time in their lives, and are enjoying a lot more freedom from Indian social norms such as not being able to date people of a different religion or sexual orientation, or to marry the person of their choice instead of having parents involved. Three or four generations ago, when a lot of immigrants came after WWII, those from India were coming to large research universities or engineering firms and had a job or full fee waiver or university fellowship waiting for them. They were much more qualified and went on to be doctors, professors, business people and other professionals. New immigrants dont integrate in Canada or Canadian life. The priviledge of going to school is for study not PR. Its not a back door immigration program. You dont go to any other country and make demands or protest. Few if any go in the needed trades so time to go home. Studying in Canada is a trap. The standards of universities and colleges do not meet the job market requirements. The PGWP (Post-Graduation Work Permit) and PNP (Provincial Nominee Program) systems are traps for international students, giving them false hope that they can get PR (Permanent Residency) if they do certain things. These programs just bring in money for colleges and universities. Students borrow loans to study at these institutions. 1) The Indian government should ban student loans for studying in Canada. It's sad that so many Canadians have to move from their hometowns/provinces in droves to financially survive and get ahead a little. Unfortunately, the droves of people fleeing Ontario and BC are driving up prices now (to buy/rent) in other parts of Canada like Alberta and Atlantic Canada where this is having a trickle effect creating Albertans, Nova Scotians, etc. to be homeless and strains on their provincial healthcare systems. It's a sad state of affairs, and I do not think a politician can fix this, unless they start demanding more and curtailing the power of corporations. We came to Canada 17 years ago, with nothing, we were lucky, a few years later the kids were moving out, we both are self employed (skilled people from Germany) we worked like oxen, still do, we paid off our own house and soon 2 more rentals, we are close to retirement. Canada’s statistics are no different than Australia, USA and France for example in terms of homelessness and home ownership. Can you ask each international student or immigrant you see on the street how much they paid the canadian government to come there? I'd probs say $30k/person (forms, medical or probs tuition). Canadian government is collecting $30k/per immigrant basically + cheap part-time labour but seems like it doesn't benefit the canadians. Only politicians getting richer. Most of these international students belong to the sikh community from northern india (punjab). Not all indians are like this, mostly sikhs because they are large scale fraudsters. India even asked the Canadian government to extradite these criminals back because most of them (khalistanis) are wanted in India for criminal charges...Canadian gov let them in and gave them safe passage. Im an Indian from the state of Kerala. In my class from college nearly 20 of them came to study in Canada. Believe me these people who come are not that academically good the fun fact is that the academically brighter ones never went abroad all of them got a decent job in India itself.. I'm not saying that all of them coming are trash my ex gf now in Hamilton was extremely bright and got a decent job there..the basic issue is that Canadian government must have strict standards for foreign students Australia has it.
