This is pretty common in the US. Since most delivery drivers don't carry coins some people think that they can bully them into giving more back. I usually asked for a card and then took the food back if they refused. The Canadian health care is not that great, like most things you get what you pay for, even if our health care is free or said to be, but when you have to wait 6 months, with a appointment to see a Doc, or have to wait 15 or 20 hrs in some emergency room before you see a doc, is not good, & if you should see some doc you are scared they will tell you to take some over the counter medication & send you home, in fear you might die in next few hours,

As a Canadian I don't blame DT. It's gone way too far. It's not a race thing it's a matter of the effect it has on North America born citizens. In case anyone is wondering why so many Indians are trying to flee Canada here it is. Under Trudeau and the liberal government Canada was basically giving a free pass to anyone who wants to come to Canada through colleges and universities, if you get into a Canadian school, you can get a study permit (which also allows you to work for 20h a week). Additionally after the schooling you are given a guaranteed work permit for the same duration as the schooling (if you went to school 2 years you get a 2 year permit, 4 years you get a 4 year permit, ect.) A Canada and immigration agencies (for some reason) basically advertised this to India as a guaranteed way to get permanent residence in Canada. Canadians hated the massive flood of people coming into Canada (about a million a year at its peak, which for a smaller country like canada is equivalent to 10 million people coming into the USA every year). This is really unpopular with voters of course (in part because of the housing, food, and low skill work shortages it created), and the next Canadian election is this year. So the conservative government has vowed to massivly decrease the number of immigrants coming into Canada and the Liberal government knowing that this can be used against them in the next election is decreasing the amount of PR cards they are given (like a Canadian green card) as well as the people they are letting in in total. Now as the (mostly Indian) immigrants work permits expire and they will soon be kicked out of the country or no longer legally be allowed to work, they are fleeing to NYC to try to take advantage of the sanctuary city (something that does not exist in Canada).

How did they get to Canada? Why are they not staying in Canada? Who is coordinating this? How come our own homeless are not being taking care of?

We should start charging these bus companies that are picking them up right by the border even riding the Greyhound I had to have my ID maybe for this kind of charter bus they need to start checking IDs. My issue is the invasion will never completely stop. They will try anything to get back in here. There are so many millions of people who want to come here and they will never stop trying. Deport and they just come back later. Im not so sure of the info coming across. Ive seen staggering numbers of immigrants coming north from the US into Quebec and Ontario for a number of years. Quebec had to set up shelters and programs to accommodate how many were coming up into Canada. Watching the RCMP helping them come into Canada, taking their luggage and guiding them Those officers should be charged with being an accomplice to a crime.. that would stop the police from helping bring them in... Maybe it changed and now they are going south?.. but getting to Canada isnt as simple as coming up through warmer weather countries and going south in Winter would be a major issue through snow and weather. Not so sold on the numbers coming from Canada going south though.

Take them directly to the airport and give them a one way ticket to their home country. And inform them that they have lost any right to migrate legally back to America. All VISA applications will be denied in the future. Get the message out that America WILL gladly accept applications and grant VISAs to those that have applied legally to enter, live and work in America.

We have our own housing shortage that needs to be addressed for existing Canadians who are struggling. I'm glad we are taking a pause and redifining the structure of how and who we receive into Canada. Until we sort out the housing crisis, which is in every major city, there simply aren't enough homes to help those in need and address newcomers who aren't financially self sufficient. If those immigrating to another country, they should provide their new country with their own financial means of support, or be of a profession that is in demand, the sooner they get jobs and pay into the system, the better.
