I have heard that people with a solid master's degree from a good university cannot easily find work in Canada? \nDo you know if this is true or just grapevine?

People talking a lot of negative things in the comment section about Indians being this or Indians being that ?. I think the Indian Govt is ensuring that the passport stays weak. Otherwise, what's stopping the govt from flexing its economic power. The reason is, when its complicated to get a visa to travel abroad, it dissuades Indians from going abroad for tourist purpose and those people travel withing India and that money gets spent in India and boosts Indian economy, and when its complicated to move abroad for work or study, it helps reduce brain drain (but that also needs quality higher education and good employment opportunities to work in the country's favor; not going into whether that's the case or not).

I think its good, People of India know how to send things in space and they are hard working people who generate positive energy. Thats too much to offer to these poor minded country people full of racists

Students with expired visas should go back. But what is Canadian culture? Is it found in Quebec? Alberta? Or the Reserves? What is it exactly? Do Canadian Immigration documents require applicants to sign they will convert their religion or culture after coming here? If you would change your culture upon entering another country, good for you but you have no right to expect that kind of inauthenticity from other people. If someone changes who they are and their culture upon entering another country then they are not as real as they portray. These are the type of two faced people that can also switch sides to help your enemies if given the chance to. And the truth is no matter how much people 'assimilate' here, people with even an ounce of racism and colonialist ghosts in their head will always first see the color of their skin. I worked at a Polish Grocery store and came across a man who's lived here for 30 years and spoke 10 words of English. All they speak at that store is Polish. I loved working there but I don't see anyone making a video about European immigrants retaining their culture.

I have been in a lot of places working around the world, worked with south asian people. IMO, majority of them ( Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshi, Shri lankans, Nepalese) specially Indians, lacks good manners and right conduct, they don't care about safety at work, don't care about proper health hygiene, unsanitary food preparation, cooking and serving (as we saw on a lot of videos here at YT and other social media platform). It looks like they really don't have any health concerns in regards to food bacterial contamination and safety. If these behaviours maintained and acted on places they go and lived, who you thought would be happy and delighted? Just a common sense...if these people does not and could not do the GMRC (Good manners and right conduct), that a lot of civilized world does, they don't belong and had to leaved.

May be late but i am considering for living some years and working there ( i am 25 now) is it viable to have good savings and good future there ?

Once I just searched on google masters degree from foreign country, i literally got 100s of adds for months about Canadian, australian, german and US universities, So if i will take admission in those unis after paying whole saving of my family i atleast want to have rights to work in that country otherwise why would i leave my country as i still have middle class life here. And also it's the responsiblity of any unis in the world that if anyone comes to your country for than they should atleast have right to work for the same number of yr as he spent in his course so that he can earn back same amout which he paid for the tuition fees, suppose if i does my Master's from US for which i have to pay atlest 80-100k including living cost and to earn back that same amount of money in the india from best paying companies will take atleast 7-8yrs it's just about getting same amount of money back in account and to make saving of that much money will atleast take 20yrs then tell me why should some go for education in foreign countires if he doesn't get chance to earn that back, College fees are usually decided on PPP terms of the freshers job in that country that why atleast giving chance for work for the same amount of time of the total course time is a good thing otherwise just stop sending adds, just stop scamming indians, and just close your billion dollor economy which works on fees of indian student. Even many african specially nigerian they qualifies to work in india if they did any of his degree from india.

I went through this twice during COVID. Two tenants stopped paying one after the other and lost over 50k. Sadly, the only option is to take her to small claims court but in order to do that you need an eviction order and sheriff documents. Even if he does get to that point, they can o lay garnish her wages and at that point, she can avoid paying and jump from place to place changing addresses info and job details. Professional renters know the system and they work it to screw the landlords. One tenant I had actually believed that if they rent the house they “own the home”. Even if you call the police they won’t do anything. If the government just allowed the police to arrest and charge these people I think it would help but they don’t. It’s horrible. I’m actually thinking of selling my home because of the financial burden it’s been post COVID. I have good tenants now but only after using most of the equity to pay off the damage and missed rent from the last 3 tenants….

Yes, unfortunately, the good times are over in Canada. I worked very hard during my working years and lived a good life back them. I retired a couple of years before the liberal clown government took over, and now it is a struggle to just get by. I certainly don't blame any younger people for leaving here. If I were a young man, I would be headed out the door as well.

Don't feel sad everything will turn out to be good. The same thing is happening everywhere in the workplace nowadays as it is comman and it we stand against it they say that we are immature and can't understand it. Even same thing happened to me did extra hours of work but still said it is not enough and did others work as well and they complained that i didn't complete everything on time. My son is a computer programmer and a really good one and he works with Indians. He said that some are good but most don't know what they are doing and as soon as they are pulled up for mistakes, they blame it on the white programmers. It's terribly frustrating for our people to have to work with them. Plus if there's a cut in workers, they tend to dismiss the white programmers first. It hasn't been as hard for my son because he's good at what he does but he's had to witness this happening to his own people.

Australia ended it's birth right citizen in 1981. Now, the babies born here have to have at least 1 parent who is a citizen or PR, in order to be a citizen. If both parents are not citizens, the child automatically becomes a citizen when the child turns 10 and both parents become citizens too, but the parents have to have some kind of work visa, Student visa, or some kind of visa that allows them to stay and work here. I am sri lankan dude born and raised in germany. I work in a company where most are german. They are quite respectful , funny and quite sensitive in terms of racism, homophobia etc. I even hang up and party with them in freetime. The work life balance is insane , much better than USA. If u r sick u r sick , no one dares to question u. All that because of Young People they r different than the older ones in public services etc. . As a Latino immigrant(Canadian Citizen)living in Canada for 23 years I found that many Indian business owners are very dishonest, many times paying very cheap wages and many times stealing money from their employees(stealing hours), I'm a truck driver and I've been ripped off by East Indian trucking companies that didn't pay me my money many times, they are also very unsafe, they don't fix their trucks, they break the traffic rules. Trucking used to be a highly pay job before the Indians started opening their trucking companies and lowering their prices now the whole trucking industry is garbage thanks to the Indians, the news say that there is a shortage of truck drivers ha ha ha is not true what happens is that truck drivers do not wanna work for Indians because they are very cheap and most are crooks at least in the trucking industry. Than God that I've been trucking for a long time so I know which companies are good and I work for a good Canadian company.

As a current international student I can say I am happy for all this changes Canada is doing in the immigration system sadly it was taken advantage by too many indians and people from africa that came here with not the best intentions, I can confidently say if in my case is not possible to stay I will happily return to central america with good memories and good friendships and start working again. thats life

I appreciate your take. I believe Canada's key issue is that it is facing a cultural decay, which is not exclusive to Canada. Many countries in the west are challenged by similar things such as aging populations and unaffordability. \n\nIt works in a cycle: governments and corporations take turns screwing over the general population and most people cannot afford anything. Corporation does A then government does B; government does X then corporation does Y. On the surface, government is _trying_ to do a good thing, but it backfires quite often, leaving the average person feeling scorned. \n\nChief among these corrective measures was mass immigration, and because there was already a climate of indignation, the introduction of too-many-immigrants was a huge slap in the face. Instead of making sure Canadians were better taken care of, the government responded to the corporations--not the people. \n\nGDP numbers mean nothing to the average Canadian person if their quality of life is in decline. The only people still in favour of mass immigration are those who do not have to confront it on a day-to-day basis. Even Canadian-born (or even Canadian Citizens of 5+ years) minorities, think the immigration problem is too much.
