3:53 born and raised, I worked in the fine/dining as secondary job most my adult life, ITS 100% BS THAT ITS EXPECTED. I don't care how it started but if you did just your job a server you get just the hourly. This idea that tipping is standard is basically rewarding bad behavior.. something I refuse to.\n\nIv had the odd waitress get snarky and if the food was high quality, while the service was garbage. Iv gone directly to kitchen staff and given them a tip cutting the server out completely normally they only give 10% of there total tips to the kitchen and I don't know any one server that claim more that 35% of there tips come tax season.\n. ohh I should mention prior to covid lockdowns a decent sever at an average bar takes home an average of $200 a night on top of their hourly wage so with the standard of 15 per h that's 120 + 200 that is 320 in a 8 hour shit that $40.00 and rough hour after 37 since I don't know a single one paying the proper taxes. Canada abides by the 'first country of landing' international law. That means, you can’t shop for a country to take you in. You have to apply for sanctuary in the first safe country of landing. In international relations, Canada doesn’t consider the US a dangerous country. Canada's law REQUIRES that you apply in Canada first or not at all. One thing I do see all the time in my personal experience is almost 100% of my delivery drivers when I order take out from uber/doordash/skip they are blacks or minorities.. I mean those jobs are not secure and don't even pay minimum wage after expenses. The fact that these people can't seem to find better work is a concern.

There is discrimination here. I am from Latin American and it has been difficult to fit in this country but most importantly to find a job. I mean fit in because they look at me very weird. I don’t really feel part of the society here. As for work/job There are many companies that only want asian or only want white people. I think Canada should start asking companies to present how many black, Latino, Asian and white were hired.

As a Canadian we are more open to immigtation . There are still laws. I myself am an immigrant. This piece shows one story out of thousands yearly. Without knowing specific details it is tough to judge. I know and have met quite a few refugees that have gained legal status within the past few years. We are not perfect by any means but the government does a good job, in my opinion. There must still be a vetting process. I hope this family has found stability

As you said about job troubles but you should know about Canadian rules and regulations for work and how conscious they are for any workers.

But yes he is guilty off trying to better his family life by living here illegally and he is guilty of using a fake Social Security number to get a low- paying job. Dear , you don't have to feel sorry. I am sure your intention is very very good. Seems you are good human beings. I lives in UK for 18 years. In beginning I struggled a lot. During past 18 years I have travelled lots in various countries and seen so many settled people who are origin from respective country or are settled from ages . But you also note that thay had gone through with same as beginner going through, or might b lot . I like your post, and doesn't notice any ego or proud in that . I like that . But what I mean to say is everyone from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka or Bangladesh , before come in English country or in any country, are starting very big dreams and after step into new country they don't accept positive things and blames only those countries where thay have gone for higher education or for earning money. Still they stay there and says here is blot like india , dongle come here , or we have to do this type of job .They don't have servants there, they have to wash their clothes themselves, cook themselves and clean house themselves . That's why thay are saying bad words for that country and still they want path of permanent residence of that country. I am not against of india but if you are staying in English country for 6 months, I request you please make video for how government works for their people, how smooth you can run your business without giving bribe to government officers , how police officers are doing their job and how pure is system . And please all these compare in India and suggest life is easy there or not . why not just make your stay here legal? stop hiding, pay taxes, gain rights, live in a house and get a job. if youve been hiding in a church for 15 years. youre not doing your family any favors. just do what it takes to become legal. i know its harder said then done these days but its gotta be better then hiding in a church basement for 15 years. plus you need rights, you need to be able to call the police when theres an emergency with out fear of deportation. come on! one time i hit an illegal with my car. destroyed the back end. i felt so bad! i have great insurance and wanted to take care of their car, and make sure they got checked out at a hospital but they refused cause they didnt want to get in trouble. their car never got fixed.... even though I wanted to fix it! i mean come on people supporting illegal imagrants are puting them in danger. they need to be given a path to legal citizenship and stopped from entering with out doing so.

A lot of people comment about how illegal immigration is ok, and blah blah blah. It's simple to say that when you don't feel the direct impact. Change the US as a country to your house. Now let's say the neighbors land Lord is beating the shit outta everyone in that household (play on the violence that's happening in country of orgin). One of then move into your house without letting you know beforehand (illegals). Let's say you don't mind and understand why they did so. Now they work hard around the house and get a job to spend for themselves and send money next door to the family still left behind. . But they don't have to pay for electricity, gas (aka taxes). And since you own a 3 bed room house, things don't change that much. Now 2 more of the neighbors flee because of the asshole land Lord. Now you have to start working slightly harder to pay for your utilities aka taxes. Now you start seeing how more people affect your household. Now even more people flee the next door neighbors and you work even harder for utilities plus your trash is overflowing, have to invest in larger trash cans, fix the doors or ascetic's(pipes, faucets, tubs etc) in your house from over use or mismanagement. Plus you have to start driving their kids to school, you have to get a bigger vehicle (that's a play on the education systems bloating classroom problems)spend more on gas and car maintenance, and since they all don't speak English, to have to spend money on making signs to inform them of the house rules and dangers. You have to invest time out of your schedule to inform them how things work in your house hold because at their house they walked around naked or shit with the door open (play on different societal norms or religions) and may even have to alter your rules as not to impose and anger them. Know the house is over filled and they expect you to buy a bigger house (play on the welfare state)I mean I can go on... But people reading this can get the drift. Point is, yes i understand that people want a better life and all immgration in not necessarily evil, but you can't just let anyone come in because you feel bad. Making change based off emotions of a few is detrimental to the whole.

It's sad to ever see a woman that drunk, but freedom of speech means just what it says the absolute God given freedom of speech! What she did was drunk and stupid but I can be honest and tell you I said some bad things back when I drank with my mates, if she didn't have that alcohol then this wouldn't have happened! I guarantee it! AND SHE SHOULD NOT HAVE LOST HER JOB OVER THIS! SHE WAS NOT GIVEN A CITATION BY THE POLICE, AND NO CHARGES WILL BE FILED. HERE IN COLORADO IF I WOULD LOOSE MY JOB FOR EXACLY WHAT SHE DID, LAWYERS DREAM DREAMS OF EASY MONEY SETTLEMENT FOR WRONGFUL TERMINATION WITH THE VIOLATION OF MY 1st AMENDMENT PRIVILEGE. AND I BET ANY GOOD LAWYER WOULD ADD TEN ORE MORE CHARGES TO THE LAWSUIT. I DON'T CLAIM TO KNOW CANADA LAWS BUT THEY HAVE SIMILARITIES.

Hmmm, come to Canada from your 3rd world country and we will give your family a one time payment of $50,000. More money than you have ever seen in your life time. Literally like winning the lottery. No wonder all these border jumpers are clambering here. I mean if, say Switzerland, was offering you, yes you, a cheque for $50k to come live in their country wouldnt you take it if you didnt have much here in Canada? Like didnt own property, didnt have a great job, etc etc. Of course you would.

I actually really appreciate the guy at 8:02.... He was a very honest person about it. I mean, profiling is bad, but sometimes it helps. SOMETIMES someone's clothing, body language and attitude can give you a lot of information about a person. As an artist, I notice these things a lot, and I'm not trying to be rude or prejudice, or anything, these are just things I notice as an artist, whose job it is to capture and show people's emotions and bodies.

Im not a racist so don't brand me one, what I want is true equality which means that I'm not going to pander to minorities for the sole reason that they are minorities. The incessant complaining about stereotypes towards blacks is ridiculous, all races have their own stereotypes. If someone saw a well dressed black person heading into an office building they wouldnt think twice but if someone saw a young black kid dressed like a gangster,smoking dope and acting shady theyre going to think suspiciously of you and there is nothing wrong with that. stop making it about race when it has a lot more to do with how you behave and act. The drive to get more black people in positions over authority for the sake of diversity is itself racist, the best person for the job is the person who should be in office if 8/10 judges are white and they are in fact the best people for the job then their should be no desire to change such things, we need to evaluate the character of a person and not their race. So much bullshit in this video it would take me hours to pick it apart.
