Too late! The trend is more and more invasion. Happening all the world over

It's terrible. My little town had barely any immigrants at all. Now there are Indians everywhere. Also a massive increase in black population all of a sudden. Did Toronto get full? And they all had to move north.\nThis happened in barely 1 1/2 year BTW. Basically as soon as covid lockdowns and restrictions got lifted. \nThis isn't Canada anymore this is little India. We're becoming 3rd world. Some normal amount of immigration is fine. Millions of people from India in just a few years is not. It's totally unacceptable. \nWe are allowed to have our own nation.

The Canadian government makes alot of money in immigration fees from immigrants but before they were bringing people from all over the world but for past decade it happens to be alot of east Indians, i lived in Brampton for 20 years but decided to move out in 2021 because it didn’t feel like i was living in Canada anymore thanks to Mr Trudeu who gave them ez pass , all the jobs were finished, employers only wanted to hire newcomers so they can exploit them n then you see them protesting on roads, residential areas for not getting paid by employers,failing in college, visa renewal issues, This was another reason why you see so many homeless people and higher rent rates! The government should have balance of jobs before they start bringing immigrants to come and undercut the wages

I say this with a great deal of cynicism but I don’t think we will be able to halt mass immigration, and the reason is old people. Old people vote, and they have money. Politicians respond to the people with money. My parents are in their 80’s and they spend $7000 per month on their retirement home. I’m renting an apartment because I can’t afford a home in Victoria. The cheapest house here sells for $700,000. And so I’ve no intention of getting married or having kids. It’s clear to me that this is happening all over Canada. The death rate exceeds the birth rate. There is something odd about this state of affairs. Immigrants are pouring into the country and moving into multigenerational houses. They’re getting married and raising kids. Two or three generations live together under one roof. Meanwhile, the picture is different with white Canadians who have been here over a hundred years. Older, white Canadians are spending $7000 per month on assisted living retirement homes. Their children are single and renting apartments. We are living in clown world.

Deportation at the point of entry isn’t peculiar to Canada alone. It happens at every airport in the world including Nigeria. Also, immigration officials are authorized to query your purpose of visiting the country. Be prepared to answer all/any questions at the point of entry if you are asked questions.

As a Canadian born here, I think the foreign students are the tip of the iceberg. We also have to consider people that came in, and still do illegally including a criminal element. We also have a weak government that brings in folks from war torn countries, and they are not always that countries best people. Look at the Palestinian situation right now, where Most other Arab countries do not want these people entering their countries. We have to ask ourselves why that is, and is it good for Canada to bring in people where the entire Arab world says Nope! I think the entire situation in Israel and Gaza is terrible, and at the same time with some groups even the Children are raised to Hate and or be Violent. So if we are bringing in people who Hate and Support a terrorist organization, we can pretty much guess what’s going to happen inside Canada. In fact we are already seeing the hate and division. They can’t figure out this is NOT Israel, and there are no wars in Canada currently. However if they continue down this path of Hate and violence, Canada could become another battle ground. Including some of these groups who have beef’s back in their own countries! If your hell bent on war, go back and defend your own country, and don’t try that crap in Canada.

Canada does not have national daycare or dental programs for all Canadians of all ages. This isn't about historically colonized who. It's about whether or not Canada is heading towards being a 3rd world country right now. Go ahead and have the federal government let in, 5 million people from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Syria and Nigeria. Canada is in a serious recession, and high inflation has forced many Canadian families to turn to foodbanks. Stop assuming you can afford to buy houses that cost $1-$2 millon dollars in the major cities. Stop assuming if you're an international student, that all your problems will be solved if you get Canadian citizenship. Stop assuming you can bring over your spouse and they can get easy work visas and your elderly parents can get easy Canadian pensions. Yes, there are no guarantees in life, but immigration consultants aren't instructing you to be realistic about immigrating to Canada even if you are a nurse, studied in STEMs or structural engineering etc. Alberta could start charging provincial taxes, Quebec could cut off their welfare. And other Canadian cities could stop collecting garbage all the time and not fix their roads because many people can't afford to pay their property taxes due to high employment. The globalists want 15 minutes cities. The federal government is assuming massive immigration will solve Canada's aging population. It won't. Health care is actually better in 2nd and 3rd countries if you have the money. Even if your home country is at war, it's still better than the drug crisis in the major cities of Canada. No joke. Now, does everyone get it? Canada can not afford to pay for any social programs, even with taxing the middle class to death. This isn't about racism or blaming any mirgants it's about corrupt dishonest politicians who will increase the number of children living in poverty. Canada is the worst place to immigrate to! Do proper research!

Canada has been the down the road of high immigration in the past, erven in the face of housing shortages. This happened right after World War II. To deal with the shortage of rental housing stock then in the large cities, the government put demands on immigrants and refugees to settle in agricultural areas and small town Canada. But, it seems today that most immigrants just want to go to the already overcrowded cities, especially Vancouver, Edmonton, Toronto and Montreal. Rural Canada is now facing manpower shortages, but has a fair amount of housing, as many small towns have actually shrunk in population over the years. and could use the people. Immigrants assimilate better in small towns.

Stop the blame game , shame on you blaming immigrants and foreign home owners these are a tiny proportion of the population and homes . Real estate agents are the biggest culprits in the rise of prices. I’ve been there several times as telling me my house is worth hundreds of thousands more or we can say exaggerated by 30% or more then my house is on the market for a year which is nota big deal for an agent they have 40 other listings and access to more moneymakers , I’ve sold my last 2 homes personally within days or weeks which were reasonably priced not overpriced this made everyone happy . Building a home is never a problem buy the land get proper permits and select a quality builder I’ve had steady employment and certainly not rich blue collar salary and never have been refused for a mortgage so if you want to build it’s always available , if you qualify for a mortgage.\nAs for your immigration babble do you like to eat food if the answer is yes you should appreciate immigrants, do you like the care you get in hospitals thanks again to immigrant nurses caregivers therapists, how about the next time you stay at a hotel/resort thank immigrants for cooking and cleaning , \nSure stuff costs more you can put some blame on lifetime pensions for politicians and senators for a few years work , over the top spending on government trips , the Governor General expense on wardrobe, minister of whatever buying new boots or shoes to make an announcement total abuse of taxpayer $ , government projects which get cancelled for who knows why and many projects which are unnecessary which are beneficial only to family and friends giving their private businesses contracts , same old guys club new blood is required with new ideas and purpose . \nCanada is expensive I’ll agree but still top 10 to reside in the world if you like life and freedom , eating regularly, lights on , water from your tap, getting to your job on real roads , getting an abortion , not expecting a hospital bill when you arrive home from heart surgery, the list goes on , whiners are are whiners the rest are makers and make our lives better .as for other post saying things are so much cheaper in the states , I don’t pay 10$ for a carton of eggs this happened last year in Arizona state the facts ,

From a humanitarian perspective though, just give those people some safety, or is he saying it's better for them to be killed off in their land than come to his for a life? I’m a 2nd Gen Scot/Canadian on one side and the other has been in the New World since the 1600’s. I can’t imagine them taking those many lives and expecting to not be (at the Very Least) Deported..What would happen to a Canadian in India under these circumstances? Deportation back to Canada? Because it comes off as like a bragging or a snobbery and I don't go for that. I just want to put it out there Canada is not a destination for purely economic exploitation. \nIt's a place you know for people who I saw people from the former Yugoslavia comment online. The worst mistake during the pandemic lockdown in Canada was the government shoveling out free money and people reinvesting it back into their real estate. So you have billions of Canadians locked out of their jobs big shovel taxpayer money and they all just started renovating their homes. To the point where sheets of plywood were you couldn't find them and they went up 100 times and price. Solo's hundreds of billions of dollars that the government's going to take back and taxes from us all draw the cost of housing through the roof. Instead of at the time redirecting half of those two it was 500 billion take a half of that investment in putting it into infrastructure technology innovation for industries. Our education systems from kindergarten through to postsecondary education and spending it on the Canadians that were here. We've turned our post-secondary institutions in Canada into diploma Mills where you know your VA and your you know postgraduate degrees or you know they're worthless. However the government and the education system grew into a very profitable industry grinding out worthless degree after worthless degree for foreign students who thought when they got these degrees with 50% of Canadians have. People have to realize that post-secondary education is a big business so they're going to sell you a dream that's going to cost you a lot of money what I suggest is when YouTubers want to do something on Canada do some proper research let people know that we really do have quality post-secondary education system but you have to look at when you graduate those jobs going to be there to pay that large salary does White collar jobs are disappearing almost gone I purchase an app for my company with small company about 10 employees this inexpensive app alone has taken my office staff from 7: to 2: I have a 10 Red seal tradesman tradeswomen these 10 highly skilled trades people earn between 125 and 145,000 a year in gross salary and I need five more of these highly skilled people and I can't find them cuz everybody's running in to get a useless postgraduate degree. I do find it slightly offensive that a lot of new immigrants new Canadians immigrate to Canada to purely exploit it for its wealth Canada should be looked at as a place to come put your hard work in the struggles the ups and downs? and look at it as your home instead of you know a piggy bank but people are going to leave and there's a long line up to get in I've seen in my 40 year career you know three major reps and three major downs. What's happening in Canada's economy and the economies around the world it's all the same the US economy's doing quite well and talked to last couple of weeks friends that have invested their and families have been there long-term at present the United States is building a war economy so there's money pouring into that effort it does have a booming you know Hi-Tech boom as well however the tech boom is offshore with American companies and it's taking place in a part of the world that no one would think it would take place so if your graduate in the tech industry go online do a little research you'll find out where it is the USA is building a huge chip factories I think they just poured in 70 or 80 billion dollars we're in a transitioning economy don't get discouraged put your head into it do your homework find out where these new jobs are coming from which jobs are not going to be here. Traditional White collar you know middle management upper management jobs they've been gone for years everyone's think of themselves as an independent contractor. Also if you're a millennial or was a gen z person there's going to be a massive transfer of wealth over the next 20 to 30 years as baby boomers simply die off and then you guys are going to inherit their money I live in any one of the g7 economies I just got to find your niece with your qualifications and get in there and innovate because there's not one g7 country that significantly doing better than anyone else another interesting part of the world is East Africa I'm retiring there in 5 years I've already done my homework I've already got partners I've already started to train up people there in East Africa Canada and those parts of the world they have East Africa's great basic infrastructure so now that they've got their first level base of infrastructure a second economy is built off at the service that basic infrastructure that basic infrastructure allows for that second layer a bigger layer of investment you know and that's where the real money is for mid-level investors and you know highly educated Young westerners have got 10 years into their respective careers and these are also very beautiful countries you know so you can if you got family in Canada family in Europe India Asia you know you can start building networks collaborate on projects you know in these you know emerging economies you know mid-level economies but that's you know a good 20-year grind to get good at your career and build your confidence to go into these places and get these things done also you know it's a great life adventure but never expect just because you have an advanced degree that the door even come knocking down your door to employ you if you're going to wait for the opportunity to come to you you're going to be waiting forever you got to take your advanced degrees get out there and hustle and work hard man Canada's doing fine about four or five years it's you know it's going to take off next level and it's going to boom for 40 years and it's never going to get any cheaper in g7 countries Amy's emerging economies his pockets around the world they're starting to come up to in the window to get into these emerging economies with your advanced degrees it's closing if you don't make it if you don't start looking at it in the next 5 years your degrees are going to be gone useless and if you do decide to put your career in these emerging economies like Asia South America Central America Africa do it for the right reasons not just for money we don't want to make the same mistakes as like the industrial Revolution where a few people get rich and the people in that country you know don't get anything have respect for these countries employ their people and you have to get into these places before all the big corporations get set up there cuz they're they're going there Canada's a great place as a great time free medical system and I urge anybody that's feeling down or depressed in Canada you know to go get some therapy join some clubs talk to people don't get down and mostly don't you know don't give up on yourself you guys made it through you know Elite post-secondary education system and if you can if you can do that I mean you can you can do anything a lot of hard work ahead truly best of luck to all you guys

I wanna live here. I just can't afford to. I'm 38 and live with my mum, which is also due to my health but i have lived alone many times. my whole disability cheque would not cover a one bedroom and it's very hard to find a studio, they're all taken. Trudeau isn't the problem. he's a symptom. these problems are happening all over the world. the corporations are grinding people to dust in every country, so that we can log forests and fill landfills, medicate people so they can be Functional enough to create value for a company. any Canada is great, but it, and the world as a whole, at the moment, kid of suck.

The great replacement is happening fellow canadians before trudeau. We are getting replace by the 3rd world by our government. I am asian so as all color of canadian this is whats happening to us! Canadians cannot afford to buy a home, eat, fuel yet bring in more 3rd world to make affordibility even more out of reach!

28-year-old Female Sydneysider from Australia here. Apologise in advance for the long post and rambling.\n\n\nNot sure if it is just me, so please correct me if I am wrong. Just probably now too overly 'realistically too cynical'. So please take my input with a grain of salt. 

For context’ sake, for most of my adulthood I have always been poor & I am born with special health needs (E.g. disabilities).
\n\n\nSometimes on forums we are often contrasted to Canada, for some reason. Both Canada and Australia have remarkably similar problems with a different coat of paint. Sydney, for instance, has always been high up in the list of the cities with the highest cost of living in the world. Usually within the top 10-20. 

COVID-19 obviously made this issue clearer in some circumstances because we couldn't 'work' at all. Unless you were an essential service worker, to mentally block out personal and local difficulties.\n\n\nWe still have not recovered from that 2–3 years global shutdown. The only reason I was allowed to work for a period was because I work for the animal industry and aid in animal welfare. 

I still lost my job due to COVID-19 regardless and knew I would never get a decent job again. Merely just the last poor sod on the boat to be thrown off. 

Could not become a vet nurse despite working very hard. Just because no one wants to give me '2-years permanent paid experience’ to be taken seriously. 

At the same time, way too many employers will happily take 2+ years of veterinary students volunteering at their vet clinic. With the vague promise of a permanent job.

Which, of course, never happens, then say we are being too demanding or spoilt for politely asking for said job.\n\n\nHow are we supposed to pay off our student debt if any financial service expects us to have a per meant job to pay anything off??

 No, they do not want to train nor help you. They just want free labour, then kick you out once your time is up. All my jobs have been casual, and my animal industry has already become heavily casual based ages ago. Permanent job is like looking for a magical unicorn.\n\n\nSo, even if you and your relatives lived in the way outer suburbs of Sydney for decades, being typically considered roughly lower-middle socio-economic families. 

The younger adults and kids all know and have been aware for years, they have no future at all due to having an inflated cost of living. Sugar-coating it, saying it might go in a positive direction, sounds like a blatant lie. We all know it is a lie.\n\n\nNowadays, in contrast to the late nineties and early 2000s when I was just a tiny naive kid that didn't know any better. There seems to be a more jarring split between the income brackets of what the country assumes who is poor, middle class or rich today. 

\n\nBy today's standards, my family is no longer even considered close to the very lower end of the middle class if you were reaching hard. We are considered 'poor' just because my parents do not earn roughly $50,000 — $150,000 AUD a year on their own in 2023. Because the vacancy rate is so low which proves that A LOT of people want to live in Canada. The video itself speaks to NIMBYism and municipal government’s slow reaction to accommodate construction. The only thing the Feds did is to allow more people that want to be Canadians to have a chance. Low wages and the high cost of products are the fault of greedy corporations. Those people leaving and can no longer stay in Canada is the result of natural selection. I get that everyone is struggling, and feel that we need someone to blame. Since we can’t control our neighbours that stop progress and the corporations that gouge us, as a democracy, we go after what we do control- our government- even if the problem isn’t really of their creation. This issue of affordability is happening all over the world. Corporations and those who run them disproportionately keep all the money. But that doesn’t mean that Canada isn’t a great place to live and raise a family. It’s a huge country. The only thing the Feds can do is incentivize companies to set up shop in less desirable places and eleviate demand off of Vancouver and Toronto (the usual suspects and source for all those rental shortage b-rolls). Then, the neighbours in Moose Jaw will start complaining that their town is changing too fast.

Hundreds of years ago all your native homes were part of the indigenous people here and they didn't even have time to complain or lament online when the Europeans butchered them and massacred their homelands, claiming the land and setting up as their own. Now you are in a position to call something your home and we all know what all your ancestors did regardless of how good you are right now. The least you can do is not comment such provocatively online against other ethnicities or is this atrocity still there in your blood. It's very simple. You can blame Trudeau but this is happening all over the world. The problem is that central banks target a certain amount of inflation (usually 2%). However in their inflation calculations they don't include the price for housing. So they are not steering the economy on true inflation. Resulting in a decade of very low interest rates which resulted in souring housing prices.

It's always been this way. The French and English were in their separate enclaves in the beginning. The Irish, Scottish and Germans then established their bases where they could more easily integrate into their new societies….The Italians and Portuguese and Greeks and other Euros set up shop in the 50's 60's and 70's…Most of them lived among their own communities with familiarity…Same for all the Asian and African, S.American, Carribean immigrants and others ever since…. They may stay a generation or two in these communities, but children of immigrants lean to living wherever suits them. It's like the evolution of immigrant societies. This is happening all over the world at this moment, and people of all races ,creeds and colours are complaining of other groups of peoples of all races, creeds and colours moving into and sometimes engulfing their communities.\nSome communities have been Gentrified…Do we shake our fists in the air and scream ' Damn those young professionals!!?' Other communities have been inundated by hordes of Seniors.
