I'm 71 and I apologize to Europe, Mexico and Canada, Ukraine and Gaza for the shameful leadership we have sadly been saddled with here stateside!

You did not want to secure your own border when it was in both of our best interests to do so. President Trump said we are pursuing diplomacy, not siding with Russia. As he said, if you are trying to negotiate a deal between two enemies you can't cast one out and only deal with one. You need the two sitting at the table and you have to be fair to both sides. The liberals want an endless war so they can profit from it. Most of them are heavy investors with defense contractors and that is not a coincidence. It is a conflict of interest. I disagree with how President Trump handled that meeting as those tough conversations should have happened privately. Nonetheless those conversations absolutely needed to happen. Thousands of Ukrainians and Russians dying and cutting blank cheques year after year with no end in sight is insanity. Each side is going to have to give something to end this.

Trump is talking out of his ass. We are responsible for less than 1% of fentanyl. We pay more money to states than states pays to us. We helped with 911, their wars and their California fires. We invested Canadian money, & time & lost Canadian lives. When is USA paying us back ???? . \n\nTrump has sold USA to Russia. He is their puppet. \n\nThese tariffs will tank USA economy. \n\nCanada will be hit, but we will survive and thrive. \n\nTrump has united Canada. We will buy Canadian, support Canadians and create more Canadian jobs. We need to keep boycotting anything American. We need to raise prices to all products going to USA on top of tariffs & consider not selling some products. We need to make relationships with other countries who support Canada. We have pressure minerals, and oils. Let them figure out how to get them when Canada steps back.

As an American, I support Canada 100%. There’s no rationale for these tariffs—only Trump’s ego. Call his bluff. Make it hurt. We need all the help we can get to dislodge Trump from power.

I just feel the need to apologize to Canadians. What Trudeau said was correct - we've always enjoyed amicable relations between our two countries. Some of my best friends are Canadians. The Orange Man does not speak for us. 77 million people voted for him - roughly 1/5th of our country. Do not assume the Orange idiot speaks for all of us. In WWII a lot of Canadian factories were converted to make armaments and aircrafts. They are needed around the world right now- especially by our friends in Ukraine.

You need to realize what Trump's real agenda is. All he really wants is money. He wants to make himself and his rich buddies richer. His plan to do that is to cut government spending radically, and impose a sales tax to fleece American consumers. Once he's got the cash flow the way he wants, he will cut corporate tax and capital gains tax so that his companies and his investments can make a lot more money and so can his rich buddies, while still being able to pay off his lackeys in the senate and congress. That's it. It is that simple. Everything else is a distraction to make the media forget his real plan.

This isn't about fentanyl. This is a precursor to a land grab. The Trump regime will try to force Canada to it's knees and to the negotiating table, taking land they need for oil and mining. If Canada won't sign it away, Trump will take it by force. Unless the American public stands in his way.
