my dil is mexican and is here legally. last march my son called me very early one morning with the news that his brother in law had been randomly murdered the night before. he was also in this country legally. as is my Dil's younger sister who lives with them. They also recently took in one of her younger sister's high school friends who was pregnant. they kept the girl safe with them until she gave birth. when I visited last may, I brought multiple baby gifts for the girl. when I have posted this before. there were many hateful comments that my son's brother-in law was probably killed by another illegal. Actually he was here in the country legally, as is my daughter-in-law. my DIL works hard doing payroll at a portland contracting company. she is here legally. at this point I can't wrap my mind around the hate that is thrown on people from other countries. most of us have ancesters that came from other places. I know that I do.

The Democratic plan was to allow the illegals to vote in city county and state elections to build their base. Even though they can't vote in the presidential elections they have a lot of power at the city county and state level. How many times have you heard all elections are local. Democrats have been doing this for the last 20 years and for the very reason I said what I said. Democrats don't love illegal immigrants they are simply a product they can use to Garner more democratic votes. And the reward for those votes is we will make it easier for the rest of your family to get into America. That's the Democratic proposition for 2025 they want a total lockdown on this country that can never be challenged. Now you know and it doesn't matter what they say or how they deny it.

Regardless of how you feel about illegal immigrants, mass deportations will result in 1. An increase in prices, especially food, considering many if not mostworkers in agriculture are illegals 2. A contracting economy overall, considering illegal immigrants spend money on the economy. Reducing the population by 15 million will result in a recession.

As first generation American all this endless whining is getting old. When my family came here, they all had to have a health certificate and a sponsor that guaranteed they would have employment and housing waiting for them when they got here. This is bs. There are many people that voted for Trump that is against mass deportation of law abiding illegal immigrants, but are for deporting violent criminals and securing the border and keeping illegal immigration out. What about the dreamers? They should be exempt from deportation. They speak English, they've assimilated into American culture, they own businesses and most importantly, being deported back to Mexico is technically being deported to a foreign country they have never lived in.

So many people disconnected with the fact that while not all illegal citizens commit crimes, some of the ones who do aren't being held accountable. Many of them are residing in Sanctuary cities which protects them. In these sanctuary cities, when they commit a crime, sure they get arrested because that's a police officer's job, but then these criminals are immediately released. They can't be taken to court and they don't go to jail. Law enforcement need our help. They're getting discouraged because nothing is happening with these individuals.

I voted for Harris and despise Trump, however, I'm hoping Repubs do exactly what they've been wanting to do for YEARS, which is to finish their fence/wall along the ENTIRE border, deport ALL illegal/undocumented migrants, many of them Trump supporters, and shut about the stupid border already!! President Trump lamented at his rallies about having to deport so many illegal aliens. But he said the USA just cannot sustain the amount coming into the country. Specifically, we the people cannot afford the amount of money it takes to support millions of illegal immigrants. Blame it on the Democrats. They caused the problem.

The kind of deportation Trump has been talking about has gone beyond people that are here illegally. Trump has expanded it to include what he calls 'undocumented' migrants. That group includes people waiting for their asylum hearings, DACA recipients and protected status migrants/refugees, and people that have already had their asylum hearings, but are awaiting their citizenship hearings. \nAs for the narrative about 'murderers' and 'violent/horrible' criminals being in our country, it's like....wait...what??? Now, if you KNOW a person is a convicted murderer or horrible criminal, WHY would you allow them into or allow them to stay in this country to begin with? Deportation of illegal immigrants is a fully valid policy, but it is neither enough and has to be done as a balanced policy and with humanity. Legalisation for many would be a good idea. Putting millions into camps will bring a disaster.

So, there will be no one to blame but themselves if they don't fix what they say they will fix: Immigration, ACA, the Economy, and more.
