The western economic structure is drowning in debt and they fear Indians will come and take away what little is left. Don't worry companies will come to India eventually. I am sure the tourist visas are not getting rejected coz that would be soo dumb.

Unfortunately, there has to be some criteria by which each country has to make a judgement. I do not understand why she is cribbing here. There is this guy who keeps going on international trips and everyone in India for gaga over the importance he brings to India through those trips. What happened? Not working? They fail to understand that all the hugs and kisses are only for the TV and in reality every country just cares for the business opportunity they get out of the other. \n\nPalki keeps talking about using our economic power. Who should be weilding it? Is it not the Government? Do they really care if an individual or a lot of their citizen's visa get rejected? They are busy painting a rosy picture to their blind followers. They abuse and mock organizations that put down the ranking of our country instead of understanding the reason behind those ranking. They have no data to contradict the agencies but use rhetoric and everyone seems to be happy about it.\n\nWhy has this lady not put in any thought on the other possible reasons for rejections that could be because of the applicants? The easiest thing to do is blame other countries for the rejection without thinking why certain types of countries reject and what has our citizens done in those countries? No point in thinking about a few people who helped build Dubai or those one of cases like Pichai & Nadella. Think of those who go their and cause concern to those countries.

Indians should drop these countries as a travel destination. The amount they are wasting is visa application, in the same amount they will get thousand times better experience in royal India.

Don’t blame the West. By your own account UAE, Australia, NZ are not technically western. I am sure getting a Visa to Japan, South Korea is equally tough. USA faces substantial illegal immigration from India mainly Gujarat. I am sure same is true of Europe. Don’t blame the passport index. How come China fares better and Singapore and Malaysia are among the best? Introspection instead of Jingoism is the solution.

It's about reputation in the society and honesty India has lost it, due to its damaged law system, uneducated people spitting around pan masala and guthkha, dropping garbage from balconies on the street, raping and murdering women and also doctors, and at the end no one is getting justice. It is now well known that Indians are desperate to do everything (legally or not) to get a PR in the western countries because of population explosion in India and hard life! Canada and AUS are very strict when it comes to Indian students' visa application now! It is sad that Indian Consultant agencies are scamming its own people resulting to these changes.

In the rush to get out, lot of people tend to make fake stories and documents....Hence the drop in rankings....Modi should make India better. Looks his regime is worse than those you just read. It is just that yout skin is so thick you just don't realize. No proper research opportunities for students. Obviously the same situation with opportunities except those who lick the asses of the people at the top like Adani.

Indians are peddled this dream that everything outside is a heaven since early childhood. They see pictures of skyscrapers in Manhattan, London and Frankfurt and think everyone is living like that outside. These people are further brainwashed by immigration agencies and disguised human traffickers to put lakhs or even crores on the line for just going outside. They sell their lands, properties and other assets just to be able to go out pursuing a misleading dream.\n\nThis is a problem especially in states like Punjab, Gujarat, Telangana, Andhra and Kerala, where most of the people still believe that it's better living outside than inside. These are not people who don't have anything in India but rather well-to-do families that have homes and assets and families in the country. \n\nThen comes the added Western bias and negative media image through propaganda. \n\nIndia has much work to do - if the country keeps complaining, nothing will get done.

Bangladeshi Pakistani use good reputation of India to survive all over the world. They open Indian restaurants, disguise as Indian to get jobs etc but spread hate towards India and Indians out of jealousy.

Did Palki say India is the world 5th largest economy? In competition, you get gold, silver, or bronze. There is no 5th place.

Lot of Indians don't have talents and they are draining the resources here in US. They are getting loans in India and come here for Master's and then try to get jobs in tech depriving some of the Americans here the opportunity.

Ma'am, when a country makes it harder for citizens of a particular country to enter their country, it is often because of the number of recorded incidents, crime from people from said country. If there is a higher rate compared to people from other countries, then it becomes harder. Let's be honest here... Indians don't have a good reputation abroad when it comes to such things... I'm half Nigerians and at least many Nigerians acknowledge why lately, it is harder for Nigerians to get a visa (Obv crime as well.) Has nothing to do with discrimination. Also, look at the state of Canada. Nigeria and India need to focus on bettering their citizens so that less people go abroad, which also reduces the chance of certain people doing crime, to avoid making it harder for honest people from the same country to get a visa. Better the countries so that more countries open up for Indians, making the ranking go up. \n\nLastly, the passport index website shows India at 65, not 85. Why lie about that to fit your narrative? The passport index website is literally the first result that shows up on Google too... Not everything is about discrimination...

India can't control its own population growth, and have been exporting labor as their chief commodity for the past two centuries, Why should Indians get visas to the West? They never return home.

How easy is it for others to get visa for India

Getting the visa appointment is hard because of how many people are trying to get out from here, just because everyone else is doing. I'll give up an example. For German national visa, the slots for next 2 months were filled in two VFS centres, ( which two states in India depends on) were filled in an hour. And a lot of those guys who go abroad, ruin the country they go to with their bs from India.

If India is rising, then why does every second Gujerati, Punjabi, and Andhraite want to get lost in the USA, Canada, or Europe? or claim for Asylum:??

Well said! I hope our Ministry of Foreign Affairs takes note. It's high time India earns global respect, particularly from the UK, USA and EU. Offering arrival visas to income tax filers could be a game-changer and a start to that direction and will motivating more people to file returns to get that pride status. Currently, only 3% of Indians file tax returns, whereas at least 10% should. This initiative would benefit India and provide developed countries with a better filtering process.

@3:30: Burkino Faso, Kosovo and Cuba have tiny populations. Even if their entire population migrated, the locals in the country receiving them would hardly notice any difference. Not so with India and its 1.5 billion population, many of whom want to migrate only because the neighbour's/aunt's/uncle's son also went abroad. Announce a liberal visa regime for Indians one day, and within a year, your country would start looking like Chandigarh or Ahmedabad. While most countries are ok with some diversity, no one wants to be overrun by foreigners, even if the foreigners in question are Indians who are generally law abiding and hard working. And then there are the 'smarter ' types who fake documents and produce bogus certificates to get visas and even pay human smugglers to take them abroad if their visas are rejected. It's for all these reasons why India's passport is ranked at 85. The only reason why India doesn't fall even further is because there are bigger basket cases like India's 'friendly' neighbors who are sitting tight below.\nIf India wants equitable treatment, it should first make itself the best place in the world for an Indian to live and work in. The more you rely on the others for visas, the more likely they are to refuse you.

Why are indian visas being rejected? Well, could it be that various countries learned from canada, the US, and other developed nations about how indians abused the H1B as well as other visa programs by lying and cheating their ways into those countries. Not only that, once indians get into those countries they caused problems for the governments and people of those countries by shtting on their beaches, refusing to return to india when their visas expire, and playing the victim card when those countries take actions to punish indians for violating their laws.

I guess everyone know, why Indian passport is worthless, reason denying entries, getting kicked out from NA/EU and yet millions are looking every opportunities to leave India. Argue whatever you want but the fact reflects. Otherwise we wouldn't have this discussion, right?

Palki why not do some due diligence…research before wasting five minutes and 20 seconds on defending a position. The largest number of overstayers in the UK are Indians….not Burkina Fasosns or Cubans. West London has about 15000 students…who speak so poor English that one fails to understand how they understand lessons in English! They work as waiters at the wedding venues and fast food outlets. \nI found them doing the same in Sydney. They are 18 year old….if they attend any college…it is not a university..but community colleges! What higher education are they going to get there that wasn’t available in India. They don’t have funds to eat two meals a day and end up in Temples and Gurudwara everyday. They fill containers for the next meal too. Their public behaviour and lack of etiquette causes resentment in local population.

Why are there so many people from India with fake degrees and certifications? Chinese have been under the microscope for decades while Indians get away with daylight robbery. Perhaps the honeymoon is over.

I live in Canada. A citizen now, love this country but India is and will always be a home. Canada is facing hard times currently, which is being faced by every country now and then but even the cause root of all these problems Canada is facing right now is coming from somehow from India. The most disruptive and disturbing people are here from India only with no civic sense. They come here and do not value the Canadian culture at all. They do all sort of illegal activities and try to do jugaad in everything, from which we escaped from India. Even on political grounds, the man who somehow messed up everything was under the influence and pressure of the man having Indian roots. I love India without a doubt but we can’t deny the real facts why Indians are being hated everywhere. People in my community here ( whites, First Nations, old Indians) love me and my family because they know how we respect the culture and values and laws of Canada. But there, where people don’t know us personally, we get judgemental eyes because of our colour and we know why, it’s not all of us, but still majority of us have destroyed the image of India and yes Indians deserve to be banned now. We need skills and knowledge and we should class apart from the stupid ones.

Sorry as a British born Indian I must say this when Indians from the motherland come it pushes down the salary we natives get as big companies pay Indians from India less than natives. It is a massive problem for us local people??????? I am a proud Indian but I am also a proud Brit from my lovely west country, 80s born. We have too much illegal and legal immigration and it is a problem for us natives.

The West already has tens of millions of Indians already here, your people are everywhere literally all over the world, your country is making it harder to start a business or settle in India, so why should your country get free access?

Other countries are full they need to look after there own people they cant afford to be flooded with migrants from other countries and lets face it india has billions of people and most trying to get out . I think india needs to sort out its own problems like every country should so no one needs to leave.

Indian news reporting is almost like ccp news - both want to push only good news but life & reality isnt so idealistic if it was there wid b no need for govts ! Hi palki . Your channel should start a 'travel in India' movement. We indians should travel within India. This will also help our country , economy. But we indians run after those countries which ask us 1000 life documents , fees and then reject visas. We indians are wasting money. Atleast Japan refunds your fees if visa is rejected. Pls I request u to do a show on travel in India for indians , so that indians stop applying visa in queues and get humiliated in mass.

Saw a doc on british customs ppl catching ppl - 1 indian guy claimed to b a student at a english college was his bad luck dat da lady interviewing him knew a bit of basic i.t - dis kid lied abt da college he did enroll buy failed & dropped out , he fidnt know squat of 1st yr basic i.t , his english level was putrid , da u.k customs also caught illegal chinese working in chinese restaurants living like squatters. Wrt indians - fake degrees can be bought its a huge multi billion dollar scam from within india to a web outside from middle East to far East. These ppl enter under false pretences hsve no real value & end up frying chiken tikka , making bombay crush & rotis on da street side ! Indian govt must grow some kahoonas and reciprocate the same conditions and hoops for tourists from usa, UK, Australia, nz, Europe that are subjected on indians. Its incredible how foreign tourists are allowed to do other things and get away scot free. Bjp is celebrating us soil in Bengaluru which speaks volumes of their commitment to indian pride and hypocrisy. The least india can do is ask for the visa fees back or atleast part of it. With a failed judiciary, corrupt real estate, benami rule, failed police , failed education, children are being born into state and central debt. Who is going to pay for the endless borrowing ? People talking a lot of negative things in the comment section about Indians being this or Indians being that ?. I think the Indian Govt is ensuring that the passport stays weak. Otherwise, what's stopping the govt from flexing its economic power. The reason is, when its complicated to get a visa to travel abroad, it dissuades Indians from going abroad for tourist purpose and those people travel withing India and that money gets spent in India and boosts Indian economy, and when its complicated to move abroad for work or study, it helps reduce brain drain (but that also needs quality higher education and good employment opportunities to work in the country's favor; not going into whether that's the case or not).

One word best explains the issue : overpopulation. South Asia experiences this problem across the board, merely examine the gdp per capita of India, Bangladesh and Pakistan and you’ll get your answer.

Indian media and the government lie to their poor Indian that India is superpower and its richest country in the world just to get vote a d those fool Indian do belive that but in reality world hunger index Indian is in top in poverty their and if you look at Indian media all they do is bark on other country but not to their own it's a weird people Indian are.

Indians are often very dishonest! We have 1,000,000 Indians here who obtained a visa but then never went back home when their visa expired. They are here illegally and working here illegally. An Indian merchant at a convenience store tried to steal a winning lottery ticket from me a few days ago! Several Indians have gone to prison for stealing lottery tickets from customers including HUGE Multi $Million Dollar WINNERS! \n\nI have had Indian immigrants be rude to me even though I was born in Washington DC and my ancestors have lived here for centuries! \n\nWe are having to actually pass laws here to prevent Indians from discriminating agains their fellow Indians in work and housing due to them being Dalits, or ‘Untouchables’ which proves that Indians coming here have no interest whatsoever in democracy and equality. Indians are coming here solely for economic reasons. I am an Indian American sent to work in the USA; I feel Indian students after getting a Canadian education, should return back to India, if there are NO jobs in Canada; Canada does not owe them jobs.

I get the Canadian frustration regarding immigration. But this white dude has no idea if he had messed with any of us in India like this. He would be in shreds with no place for his body!

They are indians in usa, I don't understand why they needed visa if they are NRI they should have indian passport and if they have usa passport and have renounced indian citizenship, why did they not apply for OCI. i guess they never planned to come to india that often and this is just an one of affair so they didn't bother to get the OCI. Idiotic in my opinion, if god forbid they get in any trouble with the general hostility towards indians growing especially in USA, they should keep the option to just pack up and leave without all this visa issues on a moments notice.

I have been living in canada my whole life and worked my ass off to get into a really prestigious university program. Everyone I knew is looking to leave Canada, and mind you these are all HIGHLY skilled stem grads. I am included in that as well, I love Canada, but I am also an Indian, nobody sees the difference between me(someone who has been raised here) and someone fresh from India with no lack for the culture. (unless they hear my accent) I don't think staying is worth it. Probably looking to head to the states.

How will you get them back to India

Your people will not respect our laws and want to turn canada into india. You are arrogant and dismissive while you cannot even fathom using soap. \nYour people would be welcome if they were decent. Its also considered prestigious to be dishonest and lie to get what you want.
