Government of India must constitute an internal cheking system before any Indian citizen submit any Visa application to another nation. Like this all substandard applications can be stopped internally and external rejection rate, prestige of Indian passport could be managed better ❤❤❤

You don't know the reason our stupid government policies, which result high rejection rate, due to failure of government, delivering good governance, every single indians want leave India settle abroad.

At the same time getting Indian visa is also not so easy. Ranking may also depend on number of tourists who want to visit. Indians these days in far reaching in numbers due to the middle class economic upliftment. It is not that India is equated with tiny unknown countries.\nNext as far as the visa rejections are concerned very few student visas and work visas are rejected. So educated lot are not rejected. Most of the rejected visas could be tourist visas, who want to go there in disguise of tourists who actually propose to go as domestic or business helpers. Of course the visa fee is high. That could be discouraging point for many who want to go for just earning and also a source of income for those governments to compensate wages to be paid to their white workers to handle umteen number of applications.

What is the Indian government to curb scamming Indian call centres?\n\nThe scam may be affecting other countries but it is happening from India and this will hugely damage Indias reputation as hard working engineers.\n\nThe government is really doing nothing to stop these criminals. Just whataboutery will not do us any good. We need to set our own in order first.

Indians are running away from India in bulk, the concept of Supply and Demand is applicable everywhere, the supply of Indians trying to run away from India is far more than the demand for these people in other countries..as an Indian I would like other countries to send all these people back to India, most of these people belong to the families of corrupt Politicians, Government officers and the Tax evading businessmen.?

It's a shame that we talk about 5th biggest economy.... and politicians and actors saying at immigration they ask are you coming from Modi's country.... Bullshit... the moment they see Indian passport they don't want to trust that you are here for tourism.. ... We are treated worst than 3rd class citizens. The government should stop patting it's own back and try to improve its image as well as give guidelines to it's citizens on how to behave in a foreign country?

I actually love this indian talent should stay in India and contribute for our country. Someone will say well pay is not good here there are no jobs here yes but rich indians should open their own companies here and be the job creators and yes government also needs to pay initiatives to these rich people so that they invest in India.

Our passport ranking is similar to poor african nations what do you expect one of the worsts in the world . The government doesn't secure our countries borders to prevent illegal immigrants entering the nation and our some beloved Indians break rules and stay illegally in other countries . South Indians are much better.\n\n4) We, Indians, can go any lower to get a job abroad at low pay. So, we put our own grades down.\n\nThere are numerous examples I know of. Let me cite a few below.\n\n1) In one of the Western countries, a few years ago, a real Punjabi brother and sister who staged fake a marriage, got a marriage certificate, and other documents only to migrate there. The government eventually found put and deported them.\n\n2) Canada deported a few hundred Gujarati students when the US border security found them not speaking in English. On investigation, it was found that they all came with fake IELTS certificate.\n\nThere are many incidents we get to witness the day after the day. So, we can't blame other countries. It's us who made us very cheap in the international market. Because of those Indians, the entire innocent, honest, and talented Indians community is affected.

Behavior of fellow Indians could be the main reason. Most of the people like to remain calm in most of the situations, but Indians take it granted.Talk very lould, play music with out headphones, try to stand before the flight stops, talk in authoritative language, expect immediate solutions when situation arouses, shouting on others, window shopping, disobey certain rules, Bargaining culture at some places where they not supposed to do etc. This behavior we have with us not only in India and we behave the same outside India as well. Government should start a course how they should behave in public places.

The headline is misleading - suggests India is rejecting visa applications. Anyway, reality is India, and the Modi government’s priority, is to ensure Indian intake into foreign countries increases substantially. This is due to the lack of jobs and resources locally. The bigger issue is fraudulent applications. The Australian government blacklisted student applicants from Punjab, Gujarat, Bihar and 3 other states for high proportion of fraudulent applications. Sadly, after Narendra Modi visited Sydney when a Quad meeting was called off but Modi still travelled, Gujarat was removed from the blacklisted states. One fraud leading to another fraud. That is the core DNA of the country and the genuine applicants too suffer.

Americans believe the present government is occupying the seat by illegal means. Foreigners also do not like countries based on religion. More Indians would be shown the door in future by foreign countries.

Please Madame Palki, pay your taxes correctly to the government, talk about the corruption in India, and improve the purchasing power of all Indians and and then all the country in the world will open the red carpet for our Indians, a country with lot of multi millionaires but still lot of people suffering, please touch your heart and ask this questions to you.......

Congress had reciprocal arrangement. To boost tourism post negative PR following Nirbhaya incident BJP let go of it with evisas. Both sides have valid argument but real elephant in the room is behavior and respect of laws and etiquette by our desis. Imagine out of 55000 non compliant student visas in Canada that did not show up to school..20k were Indians. So unless Indians improve there, neither government Modi nor Congress equally can't do much.

Indians should stay and make the country great instead of running around like a headless chickens. Of course the corrupt governments of the day makes thing worse. Kosovo passport provides access to 80 countries as compared to 57 for the Indian passport. \n\nStop looking for conspiracies and excuses for every data that is put out. We have the government to do that.

Indian Government should voluntarily help countries to deport illegal Indian immigrants. Though majority of Indians travel abroad for holidaying , around 25% of them try to illegally settle in host countries . This is not just problem of Indians, even Pakistanis & Bangladeshis also has same mentality. Hence GOI should bring in strict rules and mechanism to stop illegal migration from India . Well here in Australia it seems like we're losing our sense of national identity. The government has let in too many Indians. I don't want a multicultural society. They are dangerous and divisive. I want a homogenous society.

The massive population of India is not just causing negative impacts to the Indians in India but also affecting well settled Indians and locals in various developed countries.\n\nThere is bound to be a backlash from the locals in those countries because the Indians are migrating in very large numbers.\n\nNo government in India has done any form of strict population control and that is why the world feels that India is simply exporting its unwanted population to other countries in super large numbers.

Palki you are not looking at the really core issue instead you are blaming other countries or governments. Don't be biased because of Indians. Look at why they are being rejected. Lot of Indians do not leave even the visa expires and illegal entry. Every country has a right to protect their country and people from outsiders.\n\nMost of the time Palki views are very biased. Why are indian visas being rejected? Well, could it be that various countries learned from canada, the US, and other developed nations about how indians abused the H1B as well as other visa programs by lying and cheating their ways into those countries. Not only that, once indians get into those countries they caused problems for the governments and people of those countries by shtting on their beaches, refusing to return to india when their visas expire, and playing the victim card when those countries take actions to punish indians for violating their laws.

You never mentioned what the Modi government’s actions are against these visa rejections? \nIndians are known to travel to many destinations on tourist or study visas and then simply stay back. They take advantage of the loopholes in the laws of many countries and there are Indians in those countries who help them.

It's not about post pandemic travel. It's about Indians lying on their applications. Let's focus on how the system is abused by indian agents who give applicants false promises. What has India done about that, and why is not the government puttIng Indians first and creating jobs in India instead of encouraging Indians to leave the country having to look for jobs elsewhere in a foreign country.

India is behind Burkina Faso and Kosovo because the Indian government itself does not want its citizen to have too much freedom abroad under their responsibility. How about a few more major reasons why Indian Visas are being rejected by most of the countries. It's not anti immigrant it is anti -indian sentiment because of our uncivilized behavior, breaching visa conditions and seeking asylum all over the world. It's not western world that needs our talent, in fact India needs the west to export our talent because we can't afford our population. Sadly, government officials are helping the human traffickers to create forged documents and police cases so that they can make a valid excuse. Indians are being hated everywhere because of India.

Indians need to stop illegal migration. Why do the Indians travel to take other people's jobs when they have such needs in their own home country? Non-tech labor jobs in India are needed greatly. I know a Indian friend who when he was a student due to climate issue got in a delayed flight in UAE, he hates politics but he follows a philosophy that's eye for an eye, and that is if everyone can be a thief nobody will be a thief, if you steel from me, I've the right to do the same, he was denied a 1 day visa by the UAE government and had to stay in the airport for 15 hours, he was angry, while others in the flight was given a 1 day visa, so say 15 years later, he is running his own business abroad, got a chance in open interview to interview students, saw one was a UAE citizen, he never took the interview for him, his philosophy, after 15 hours of waiting, he will take that student's interview, he took other's interview, after time was over he left the office and later the student left, his attitude is he as the right to do the same.

I think the Canadian government needs to be a little more careful with the type of immigrants that enter the country. I don't see it as a problem to have Chinese, Japanese, Indians and other people immigrating to Canada. But I think it is also necessary to attract more people from Europe to live in the country. Canada is a country with a white majority and, if they are not careful, the country's demographics could change a lot over the years. European ancestry needs to remain alive in the country. Especially British and French. That is Canada's identity.

These students came for an education. You accepted the terms of that student visa and should thereby adhere to those terms. Many countries do offer jobs to international students who excel in their studies if there are available positions in that field that Canadians can not fill. It is Indian recruiters who have sold the residency idea both in India and Canada. It is these recruters that teach them how to defraud our systems and take your money. If you think about it, how many successful companies hire people with strip mall college certificates in high paying jobs.\n\nWho they should be protesting against are their recruiters who sold them this illusion, not our government. There are processes for residency, not privileges.
