Indian here, our government have been requesting Canadian government to sent these Punjabis back home. They’re not even sending back dangerous people and allowed to “seek asylum” against jail time in India. I have no idea why Canadian government would allow this to happen to their own country.

First learn the difference between Indian and khalstanis. Most of these people are khalistan supporters about which India warned Canada since decades. Indian people do not get involved in criminal activities. They worked hard, pay their college fees, pay their taxes & contribute in economy unlike khalstanis.

As someone who's born and raised in Brampton I don't really see any issues when it comes to the large Indian demographic in the city. Majority of the people in this city are just middle class families trying to get by and provide their kids and families a bright future. Without the indian immigrants coming to this city what would it even be? You have families living in million dollar+ houses, working, owning business, giving good futures and opportunities for their children but y'all mad cause they are Indians who are doing this. If they were white people instead would be calling Brampton a success story then? If 75 percent of the population is south asian, OF COURSE you will see south asian workers, south asian restaurants, grocery stores (JUST LIKE ANY OTHER COMMUNITY). You only see this issue online because the people who actually live in these areas have absolutely no issue with the city. They're mad they can't progress in their own lives and use cities like Brampton as a scapegoat for their own problems. It just doesn't make sense to me how so many people have an issue with Brampton when they don't even know what it is like.

Hindus and Sikhs indulged in violence against each other and saw communal riots in Canada in 2023. Indian govt infact has started assassinating naturalised Canadian citizens from India, who are deemed to be "threat" (tick off the hindu nationalidt govt in power). I know some folks, including my neighbour, who immigrated to Canada right after high School — they take services of immigration agents who have contacts with diploma mills there, get a student visa citing enrollment in a sham educational degree, join a minimum wage job and rig the whole process to attain PR & then citizenship — essentially giving low skilled, poorly assimilated labour the citizenship in Canada under guise of skilled or educated immigration. Even as an Indian, the whole situation is insane and astounding to say the least. Hindu Nationalism has spread its roots & conducts marches in Canada within the Indian Hindu areas like they do here in India and people have started performing river aartis as well (communal prayers to worship rivers) — all kinds of pernicious identitarianism is festering there. A ton of Indian immigrants now see Canada merely as a source to better life & resources, but relate to, & are patriotic towards India or assert their rawer religious Sikh or Hindu identity due to lack of any assimilatory pressure & absence of a well defined Canadian identity. Funniest part is Indians, esp Hindus, who vote for hindu nationalists ushering majoritarian policies in India, cheer for persecution of minorities and justify caste system, suddenly co-opt liberalism & decietfully use its talking points to defend their position as a minority in places they migrate to (they do not believe in so, and don't apply the same standards to themselves). If you wish to blame someone, blame the govt of Canada and its elites. At the end of the day, they wanted cheap manual labour, and opened the gates without much consideration.

Everybody complains about white people but everybody wants to live near them 😂 I am middle eastern and admit I only want to raise my kids in a nice white neighborhood, not Indian, Chinese, Hispanic, or African.

One thing people should take note of is how only India or Pakistan work in a place . White people are worried about racism when they are looking at it in those stores as those Indians are only hiring their own. Happens everywhere in the west

Also, my also Indian Mom recently told me about how she could never be left alone in India because there are a lot of "nasty people" over there. First of all, Tyler is a hardworking journalist and I respect that, however a lot of this video was wildly ignorant, from almost everyone involved, including from him. This is cheap views unfortunately. It paints a very bad perspective for all the genuinely hardworking citizens and residents of Indian origins, why not show that side of them too? There’s obviously actual students who come to study and provide for the community while also maintaining their own culture? What’s wrong with that? Besides, what is a Canadian culture if not a mix of immigrants from all around the world? Are white people also not just immigrants to this country or did they magically spawn in this place? They’ve committed ATROCITIES (not just in Canada), yet have the audacity to act like they’re the cleanest ones in the land. While I do agree some Indians do not improve the reputation, most are really kind, helpful and honest people. Perhaps treat everyone like humans for a change instead of using the bad ones as a benchmark. PS, cutting to the ugly streets when someone mentions Punjab is probably the cheapest attention grab, obviously there’s bad streets, ugly roads, gross people everywhere but so are beautiful ones, lovely countryside views, beautiful mountains and most of all, very hardworking and respectful people as well. Your view of Punjab is just NOT the same as the one of the people in the video who view their motherland as a beautiful place. You can portray every place in the world in that light with the wrong perspective, be it New York, Paris, Barcelona, Cairo, Sydney, Rio, London, etc, but it must be nice to get a few more looks at the expense of demeaning others.

I am Indian, and I request that Canada and the USA deport Indians back to India. No country should feel as though it is being invaded or colonised by people who do not belong there.... This is stupidity...I did my Masters in London for two years. I promised myself that I would make friends only with students from the UK, Europe, and other countries—except India, experience their culture and then return to India once my studies were finished. the biggest problem i have with india is their hiring practices. you can just tell whether a place has a indian manager. for example, my local subway has all indian people in their mid 20s-30s, except for one old white lady who has been working there since forever. The problem is they only hire indian people. And those indian people always get my order wrong one way or another.

You should check out Burnside Gorge in Victoria BC. Between the City of Victoria's entire stock of Homeless shelters (in this one neighbourhood) and the city's entire stock of Sikh temples, Punjabi restaurants and East Indian clothing and grocery stores, it is a total sh*tpit - where people can't sleep at night because the Sikh punks are racing their cars up and down Burnside all night. The massive majority of Indians I've met in Canada have been absolutely kind. I have no ill will for the people. I do have ill will for our liberal government though. There's just too many people coming in at once. In 2025 we had 415,000 new permanent residences. 2024 it was 425,000. The liberal government said they were going to lower immigration and they didn't. They gutted the international student program but they kept the influx of permanent residences coming in because they're not done buying votes.
