It only took Trump less than a month to destroy our coward of a government!! THE ONLY thing Trump so called promised was to lower cost/eggs smh lol..so stupid ppl voted for him!! Now, most of them are crying!!! Stupidity of them to really think this man cared lol lol...Trump is/ will be running this country just like a BUSINESS!! Just like Putin does Russia. In his first election Putin tried to help Trump win, but it didn't go as planned . Now, Musk helped him win this election by way of tech support. So, now Trump owes Musk AND still owes Putin. Trump is paying off his debts by canceling America, OUT!!

Two things come to mind after hearing about all this stuff. Why you go on live TV and waste your time when you could attempt to talk it out with the American government? Also, if the United States is posing a 25% tariff in Canada is doing the exact same thing isn't it more or less a wash?

As an American, i found this speech to be clear, factual, and classy. I feel sad that trump et al are not behaving equally. As far as i know, trump has no parallel real activity to reduce fentanyl or cartel activity, much less actually advance economy for Americans and our neighbors.

I'm an American, and I support Canada in doing what they have to do to push back on trump/Republican insanity. I know as a senior on social security that I will be hurt by the push back. I will eat less and drive less, but I don't care -- Canada is doing the right thing.

In the past, it took at least a century for humans to discover new theories, knowledge, create new innovation, or create any civilization. My biggest thing with all of this is Canada, Mexico, Ukraine and dozens. Other countries /nations had no issue when we were aligning their pockets with money. What is wrong with y'all...Canadians depend on US military protection. Their military is 1/30th of our military in size and technology putting it mildly. Long-term, nobody will trust the USA after this. US voters cannot be allowed to destroy trade, democracy and peace worldwide. All Western democracies will work towards insulating themselves from US influence, and that will impact the standards of living inside the US. The US will have to ally with Arab, Russian & Chinese 'friends' to survive, and that will remove the US from any semblance of a country guided by human morals, much less, the Christian religion.

Trump signed the free trade agreement with Canada 5 years ago and he has proven the America is not to be trusted and treaties are meaningless. Trump, and by extension America, has walled itself in to keep the world out. Americans have been less than welcome in some places, now those places include their neighbours. Carrying American dollars and the American flag abroad will not be looked at the same as it was just last year.
